you can now set up an Emergency Contact in 'Medical ID' in the Healh app. When someone goes to the lock screen and switched to the Emergency call, they can click on the link Medical ID and then contact your emergency person. It also lists your age, allergies, and illnesses if you need it to.

I am thinking that it would be a real enhancement (although I hope I would never actually need it) to have an ICE entry that is available without unlocking my phone. I use a passcode on my phone so if I were incapacitated in some way it would be good if emergency responders could get to my ICE entry. Ideally it would also have a place to list meds that I take and any important medical conditions that might be relevant. Obviously, not everyone would want to list this stuff in a way that could be access by unauthorized people, but many (maybe most) people would really benefit from it. For example, if I had high blood pressure and was taking meds for it, that might be sometheng that an EMT or ER Doctor might want to know before treating me. Lots of people wear medical id tags but this would be better, I think.

You could put an ICE number on your Lock Screen Wallpaper. The finder could then call that number from another phone.
I have this on my Lock Screen Wallpaper... "This iPhone belongs to xxxx xxxx. If found, please call xxx-xxx-xxxx". I created it using the Notes app, took a screenshot and then selected that as my wallpaper.

the notes app is certainly an easy way to go - the advantage to an app like EmercenAid is you can store other contacts, including your Doctor information, allergies, medical consition and history and any medications you take in the app - so if an emeergency worker opens the app they have access to valuable informaton about you

Yes, if the Apple TV is located where it can receive a strong wireless signal from your wireless router. You will still need to connect from the Apple TV to the TV using an HDMI cable. Not possible to send the signal via wireless directly to your TV.

Double click your home button when the phone is locked. The camera icon will show up then.

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

Some of the contacts in my address book have extensions included at their work numbers. With my old Verizon phone I could program that after the phone number so it dials the extension after the call goes thru the main number. Is there a way to program this for iPhone?

The only way that I have managed to include extensions has been to try to insert pauses between the phone number itself and the bits of extension numbers. Sometimes the calls go through correctly, other times I have to dial the extension numbers after the phone answers regardless. Seems to be inconsistent.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Check in BIOS -> config -> Keyboard if there is an option to switch between default and legacy mode.
If you don’t find that option, you may try the Fn+esc combination that changes the function keys to legacy mode, but when the computer reboots, it might reset back to a default mode and you have to use Fn+esc again.

I have to dial a regular phone number to check my home voice mail. That's no problem as I have it in my favorites. But then I am asked to put in my home phone plus# and after that I have to put in my code. Is there a way to do the last 2 with just one tap for each input?

Make a separate contact number for your home voicemail, and insert pauses where needed (in Address Book, use commas, or on the iPhone tap the + * # button then tap pause). (EDIT: DaVBMan, tap-and-hold the * key becomes a pause in the phone dialing keypad, but not the Contact entry keypad; these instructions apply to entering a contact phone number in Contacts, yours apply to dialing the number.)
I have a one-touch dial for my corporate voicemail that looks like (617) 555-0000 ,#,1234,56785678 (where 1234 is the extension and 56785678 is the password).
As a side note, dialing this contact only works from Contacts or Favorites, not from 3rd party apps (those use a dialing URL to pass the number to the Phone, and dialing URLs do not support pauses).

I am paranoid that some untrusted technician is going to make a copy of my music (11,000 tracks) or share some of my personal information (scanned copies of my birth certificate, passport, certificates, photos, etc.) on the web.
If you put your info into the computer and hand it to another, you have to assume they will copy everything.
Why are you putting scanned copies of valuable identity information into a computer than can be hacked, stolen, lost or compromised by a dirty tech?

No. The tech would just deny it if he did, or tell the truth which the answer would be "NO" in either case.

If it's iTunes music, it has your personal ID embedded into the song files. Most IT techs know this though.

Too late now, all you can do is not worry about it.
Take your personal info out of the machine and if you need it, burn cd/dvd copies, a few USB thumb drives, Iron Keys or self encrypting external storage drives with key and/or keypad.

iCal just shows the calendars you have created in your account(s). So if you are using iCloud just log into your iCloud account in a web browser and make as many new calendars as you wish to have. Then enable those in iCal.
If you use Google accounts or something else for the calendars, then create them as needed, and enable them in iCal.
I have several separate calendars all displayed in iCal - a couple linked through my Gmail accounts, and one through my iCloud account. Each uses a different default item color so they are distinct in iCal.

I took your advice from above and went out and downloaded CopyTrans, paid the $20, downloaded everything - it worked beautifully!! Everything backed up and iTunes had all my songs.
Then I guess I'm a huge idiot or just got overzealous, so I plugged in my iPhone, because I had a few purchases on there and thought I could everything in one place on iTunes. Something happened really BAD and all my songs on iTunes deleted and were replaced with the few that I had on my phone, plugged my iPod back in and somehow I must have clicked on the wrong thing and the iPod synced with the iPhone songs! I feel sick to my stomach!! Is everything gone???

It would have to be connected to a TV to get the code off of it to to set it up in devices. After that it would not actually have to be connected to a TV just to show up in devices.... but I am assuiming you actually want to USE ATV? And for that it would still need to be connected to a TV.
