You a basically stuck doing a factory restore from ITunes. Hopefully you have been backing up to your Mac or PC, it will restore from ICloud as wee, it will take longer.
Connect you IPad to your computer with the USB cable, start ITunes, select reset factory settings. It should take about 20 miss, as it will download and retire the latest version of IOS. When it is done, it will be an out of the box set up.

When I open Thunderbird it takes up to 5 minutes for the prompt to come up to enter my password. This has just started happening-for no apparent reason. I opened the program in 'safe mode' and it made no difference. Please advise.

OK, so, opening in safe mode does not change behavior.
I'm on Mac (ver 10.9.5), Thunderbird 31.3.0 - up to date.
I'm using a POP server. If changing to IMAP will be beneficial please give instructions. I didn't find anything helpful on the Mozilla site for doing this.

It takes 2+ minutes for my password verification to come up.
It no longer automatically downloads new emails once I am able to enter password (I checked the account settings and it IS selected to do this).
It takes 1-2 minutes to send messages (no attachments).
I can't think of anything I may have done to cause this change in the way it works. Is there any other specific information you'd like?

iCloud has my old Apple ID and is prompting for a password, but I want to put in the new id, I can't because it is grey and there is no edit option. I'm prompted for a password to an account that doesn't exist. Anyone know what I can do to fix this or why this is happening.? I had no issue putting in my new Apple ID everywhere else, I could sign out of the old and inactive account and then sign back in using my new and proper one. Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

Boot holding cmd+R. Recovery mode should startup (assuming you have a recovery partition).
Select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter the word…
resetpassword
… & hit return.
The GUI app will open, select the main boot HD.
Select the admin user account in the popup menu.
Change & save the new password.
Quit ResetPassword from the menu,
Quit Terminal
Reboot
NOTE:
The keychain is setup to use the user login password to unlock when you login. It will now be inaccessible without the old password. You should be prompted to create a new one via a dialog, if not manually create a new login keychain in Keychain Access & set it as 'default'. Backup the old keychain if you are ever likely to remember the old password, or delete it since these passwords are inaccessible without the correct password. -

You don't use your Apple ID or its password to install anything on your Mac. You use the admin account's name and password.
Use the name and password you last entered when resetting them. The "name" you use is not the short name of the admin account folder.
For example. If you create an admin account of John Smith, the short name given to that account's folder will be johnsmith. So when an app requests an admin name and password to install something, the admin name you enter is John Smith, not johnsmith. -

Is there a way to Reset the original administrator account password if I do not have any install media (IE: No Leopard Install DVD).
I bought a Mac Mini and cannot get hold of the seller to get the password and I have no DVD to boot from.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

No you don't need a service plan to use wifi. Take special precautions to make sure the seller is the owner. Be sure all their information has been removed properly. If it were me I wouldn't give the person the money until the iPad is registered in my name. I've read too many horror stories of people buying iPads they'll never be able to use because someone else's ID was still on it.

For Premiere Elements 11 and 12, you cannot change its default project preset from NTSC AVCHD Full HD1080i30 or its PAL counterpart PAL AVCHD Full HD1080i25 to something else.
For each project, you can set the project preset manually if you do not want the program to take over setting the project preset based
on the properties of the first drag to the Timeline.
To set the project preset manually, open the project to the Expert workspace, go to File Menu/New/Project and Change Settings.
In the Change Settings area, change the project preset. Before you exit that area, be sure to have a check mark next to "Force Selected Project Setting on This Project" in the new project dialog.
Then you import your source media, using the appropriate Add Media choice.

in your situation I would check the box, that is in this window, that sais something like "My FPR is not working" so that you can type in the password.
This kind of situations might happen, if you changes some security configuratior, computer, or user name or similar.

Problems resetting the model for a JTable

My scenario sounds like this: from one separate thread I'm listening for users that log into the network. Those users have to be displayed in an interface that I chose to be a JTable.
When a user/users are found the view is notified. It seems simple in principle.
However, I receive from time to time some execeptions from the Event Dispatch Thread. The errors seem very very simple and intuitive but coming from a different thread I can't tell why they come. Meanwhile I switched to JList and things are ok. Still I'm very curios why this is happening and how I could fix it.
