Did you find a solution to this issue? We are having a similar issue trying to deploy a Paypal IPN on OAS 10.1.2.3. The IPN messages coming from Paypal appear to be attempting an SSLv2 handshake. In our case SSLv2 is disabled due to our security requirements so the connection is killed by our App Server. We have found that manually sending the IPN messages works correctly.

the ".rm" extension is created by 'Real Media' application.
The easiest way to use it is to install the 'Real Media' player:
1. RealPlayer BBC.app
2. RealPlayer 12.app
I have both installed & use them sometimes.
(The 'BBC' wersion doesn't have any adverts with-in the app.)

Ok, well you'll need to do something like this. Now this part is a little dependent on your database server:

You should have Bridge CC installed for CC 2014.
In Windows, right-click on a raw file, and select "choose default program". Photoshop CC 2014 should be listed. Select it. "Always open this file with this program" should also be checkmarked.
If CC 2014 is not on the list, look for the Browse button at the bottom and go to Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CC2014 and click on the Photoshop CC 2014.exe to choose it and add to the list.
In Bridge CC Edit > Preferences > File Type Associations, look for your raw file type (CR2 or Nef) and select Photoshop CC 2014 deom the drop-down menu.

Yes. You are using the Ellipse Tool's Pixel option. So it is laying down pixels as it is supposed to do without creating a layer.
Choose the Shape option:
Also Layer menu > New Layer creates layers and the curled paper at the bottom of your Layers palette also creates a New Layer. I hope those work.

I tried to register the orawpcom10.dll on the server but I could not.
I changed the orawpcom10.dll file for a newer one, but I got the same error.
I tried to google the error messages, but I did not find any solution.
Could you give me any idea?

The MOV file container is generic. This means it may contain any valid combination of compressed data that was compatible with the system on which it was originally created. Different versions of the QT players are programmed to play different combinations of compressed data if
the file is not corrupted,
the file container is compatible with the player,
the player is programmed to play the compressed data in that file container,
the data was compressed correctly, and
the codecs required for playback of the compressed data are installed and available to the player.
Based on what you've said, all we know for sure at this time is that the file container should be compatible with all QT players. This means the file could be corrupted or contain data that cannot be decoded for any of several reasons. In order to determine why it doesn't play, you would need to provide more information or post the file for analysis by others.

I want to open a txt file and output data through an AO-using DAQmx for PXI

I have a PXI running a 8145RT CPU. I have a PX6040E Multifunction DAQ card installed in the PXI. I want to program an application where I open a txt file (existing in one of the the RT machines' folders), read the first row, and output its data through an AO channel. The drivers I should use is DAQmx v7.1, and the Labview RT v.7

What exactly are you having problems with? Reading a text file can be done a number of ways. Look at the File I/O palette and check out Read Lines From File or Read Characters From File. There are string to number conversion functions on the string palette (i.e. Scan From String). There are also numberous shipping examples on using DAQmx for analog out. If you have a specific problem or question, please post back with additional details.

How do I automatically create a new file at the beginning of a new day, otherwise I only want to append that days file?

In my robotics application I store my data using "Write to Spreadsheet.vi". I would like to append the file each time I run the program on any given day. On a NEW day I would automatically like to create a new file with a smiliar name and append that file for the day on which it is created. It's easy to do using the "Write to Measurement File. vi" but the text file created is vertical rather than horizontal, so I would like to use "Write to Spreadsheet". Any suggestions?
Also how to I include my VI as part of this question for others to see?

Does the file you are writing have a timestamp in it? If so you could read the timestamp from the last time it was written and see if the day has changed, handling the name of the file appropriately. The easiest way to record the timestamp is probably to write the timestamp as the number of seconds that have elapsed since 12:00 am on Firday January 1st 1904 in UT. The "Get Date/Time in Seconds" function will give you this value.

Reader 9.3 context menu dominance (wants to open all .exe files)

I didn't see this issue in the forum, so:
My XP Pro SP3 install has taken over my context menu -- it placed "Read" at the top of my context menu for several different file types, including .exe, and it now attempts to open said files, which of course results in a "not a supported file type" prompt.
It even tries (and fails) to re-open itself when I click its desktop icon!
I can still open affected files by right-clicking in Windows Explorer (or shortcuts) then via context menu Open, but I have lost the ability to open programs via start/programs menu, desktop and directly in Windows Explorer (dbl-click).
There's no exe extension for me to re-associate in the Windows Explorer Tools>Folder>Options>File Types. I've looked in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers and there's no Adobe entry.
I've uninstalled everything Adobe, wiped all relevant files (found via Search), cleaned the registry, reinstalled from scratch. No joy.
Can I correct this (i.e., get rid of "Read" in context menu) or must I do w/o the latest Reader?

I'll take the utter lack of response to mean there is no fix for this. So be it. Since I can't even boot up the affected machine because of this issue, I'm ditching Adobe Reader and using Foxit instead!
