You have to use Oracle9i to get iSQL*Plus. iSQL*Plus is available on Windows in Oracle9i Release 9.0.1, and on most other platforms in Oracle9i Release 9.2.0.

I've been on a CS6 cloud membership since about the time it launched and it's been very useful since I use some apps almost everyday for working. I've started to travel a lot more, though, and I bring my laptop to edit video while on trains and planes and it seems everytime I open Premiere after being away from an internet connection for barely an hour it won't open because it wants in internet connection. Everything I've seen around the help things says this isn't necessary all that often but it's happened for months now every time I travel and forget that I need internet to use it. It's extremely frustrating. I opened a new office and didn't have internet for two weeks and had clients waiting on projects while my paid subscription is useless. What am I missing? I understand the need for verification but it's ridiculous that I can't use anything while I travel. (If Premiere does open sometimes it's stripped down like the basic version with no real HD options until theres a connection). If it's an online only system, say that. All the literature here says it only needs verification now and again but I'm crippled on the road and it's infuriating. I've had to revert to FCP on the road which I hate but if I start travelling more I may just have to get used to Final Cut X again. Please help or clarify this, anyone.

I'm usually at a connection so it's only once I'm on the road that I see it happen this way so I'll have to mess with it all when I'm not at one again. I guess I need to be online to create in admin acct, probably, not really sure what you mean by that, but I'll look into it. I'm not using any special software that I know of that should conflict with it. This is with both my machines one a 2008 macpro and the other a 2011 macbookpro, just running regular OS as far as I know. I'll have to actively test it soon again. Do you mean an admin acct of my adobe id sign in or something just within Premiere?

My problem is that when I create a query in the Bex and want to publish it on the web I get the error message:
This Server has no web connection defined.
When I enter the Url of a template directly in my browser it works.
Where do I have to define the web connection in the system - because I search now nearly 6 hours to get it to work.

You'll need to add the icm/server_port_0 instance parameter using RZ10 as it probably does not have the port and protocol defined. SAP needs to be restarted to pick up the change. You would then need to start transaction SICF and select the services under BW, right-click and then select Activate. There are OSS notes on this as well, maybe search for SICF. Transaction SMICM can be used to verify that the services are running.

 I changed the http port of my Development server from 8000 to 8100 via profile parameter icm/server_port_0, Now when I try displaying a report on Web, a windows dialog box pops up stating that "This Server has no Web Connection Defined." I tried looking everywhere for the answer to this question. but in vain. The transaction SMICM shows that the ICM is active. However when I display Services (Shift + F1). There show two services, SMTP service which is active, while HTTP service, which is inactive. I tried activating the HTTP service manually, doesn't work.
 I even restarted the ICM locally as well as globally, soft and hard both, but in vain.
Any help would greatly be appreciated...

a bit complicated as shown below, if you have time, read it,
The function module RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET is used to generate the URL in BW. That is, when you click "Launch in Web Browser" in the BEx Anaylzer, "Display Query on the Web" in the BEx Query Designer or "Execute in the browser" in the Web Application Designer, the function module is called and this returns the protocol, host, domain, port and service.
The function module essentially runs through three steps:
Determine the settings on the application server and generate the URL for the application server.
Determine the settings relating to the message server, provided that it is used, and replace the host and port of the application server URL with the values for the message server.
Check whether an exception is defined for the URL generated in the previous two steps, and, if required, replace the host and port with the values from the exception.
First, the application server settings are created. If a message server is used, the settings relating to host and port are replaced with the message server settings. If an exception is maintained, the host and port are replaced in turn by the exception.
Hence a simple conclusion to this problem is that you need to maintain an exception or an entry in the table HTTPURLLOC, this can be done via SE11. the following fields appear and use the entry as shown below...
Client <default client>
Sort/Search/Match Sequence (First Match Wins) <Can be Numerical numbers 1 2 3 etc, depending on the priority>
Protocol for URL (TRANSLATE TO UPPER CASE) <http, https etc (Whatever you want to be used in the url)>
Application Key (BSP=/BSP/Namespace/Name) (*=wildcard&UPPER) 
Target Domain, (* = Wildcard & UPPER CASE) <Used * here again.>
Host Name with Domain <The hostname u want to appear in the address field>

WRT54GL not allowing Remote Desktop Web Connection

Im currently using a WRT54GL in a network with just two computer. Computer A is using a wired connection and Computer B is wireless with a Linksys adapter. Public IP address from ISP is a static IP address and all is setup in the router allowing both computers internet access with no problems. Both computers are setup with static IP. Computer A is 192.168.1.101. Computer B is 192.168.1.103. Both computers are installed with Internet Information Services.
1) Setting Up The Two Computers: I setup Computer A for port 50001, ie. I opened Control Panel, clicked Performance & Maint., Clicked Admin Tools, Double clicked IIS. Expanded Websites, right clicked Default Website and clicked on Properties. On the Website tab, I changed the value of the TCP port to the one above, 50001. I Opened the Properties Window of My Computer and clicked to the Remote tab. I placed a green Check into where it states, [Allow users to connect remotely to this computer]. On side note, I have admin rights to the computer so I did not click to [Select Remote Users]. I then accessed the Windows Firewall Settings, In the Exception Tab, I have Remote Desktop with a Check - Set with TCP 3389. I also added new port - game it Name: Remote Access, Port:50001. Settings were all saved. (I did all the same exact steps for Computer B, but the only difference is I used for 50002 instead)
2) Setting up the router: I access the router configuration with IP 192.168.1.1 Clicked to the Applications and Gaming. Selected [Port Range Forward]. Below where it tells to enter the ports and name for each port I entered for the first port. Application: FM-HS01, Start and End Ports: 50001 to 50001, Protocol: TCP, IP Address: 192.168.1.101, Enabled: {checked}. I again setup another below that for Computer B. FM-HS02, 50002 to 50002, TCP, 192.168.1.103, Enabled: {Checked}. I then clicked to Port Triggering screen. Under Application: [Remote Access], Trigger Range Start - End: [50001 to 50002], Forwarded Range Start - End: [3389 to 3389], Enabled [Checked]
Under the Security Tab for Firewall - I unchecked {Block Anonymous Internet Requests}, but have {Filter Multicast}, {Filter Internet NAT Redirection} , {Filter IDENT(Port 113)} all checked.
I also enabled remote access to router using default port 8080.
By using the ISP Static IP: ie http://64.193.93.46:8080/, I am able to access the router config page no problems. Problem is trying to access each Computer A and B. For Example: in IE address bar, I entered http://64.193.93.46:50001/ I get page stating Under Construction. Now if I try http://64.193.93.46:50001/tsweb/ I actually get the Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Web Connection screen stating to enter Server __________ Size: and Connection Button. I enter the Computer Name for Computer A: FM-HS01, Choose the appropriate size and clicked connect. Page loads then all I see is an outline of a box where I assume the remote computer's screen should show. A message appears after trying to load stating: "
Remote Desktop can’t find the computer “FM-HS01”. This might mean that “FM-HS01” does not belong to the specified network. Verify the computer name and domain that you are trying to connect to."
This is where I have been ending up at. I have not able to get pass this part. Any Help Please??? I am not sure is there are other ports I would need to open along with the ones I have specified above. On another side note, my Antivirus software for both computers are CA eTrust AntiVirus which I have also configured for both computers.

Just change the ports to what ever you think of and be sure to make the right single port forwards (if you put comp A to 50001, make *.*.*.101:50001 forward and so on). Just be sure you are not running anything else on the same port, on the same computer (for excample the IIS terminal server client application). And from outside you just connect the remote desktop client to your external iport_number ie use the comp_ip:50001 for comp A in the client program connection window (not http:// in browser).

Hello all, I am a new member to this board. I am in direr need for some assistance. I have recently installed a BW server 3.1 and upon trying to launching reports via the web browser I am encountering this error, This server has no web connection defined.

BI to Web connectivity: Query designer's query cannot display in IE

Hi all,
I have configured web connectivity and from SMICM if I type the URL in IE it prompts for user/password and connects to BI, however, from query designer if a query is published on web the URL will point towards standard sap.com at port 50100 and IE will display a broken link message.
After a bit of research I discovered that httpplugin.dll is missing from /usr/sap/sys/exe and there is no folder under /exe where the httpplugin.dll is expected to be.
Any suggestion, please.

She disappears after the first choice, but my problem comes that during the launch of Chrome I made the error "block" and I have no more authorization of Google Chrome throw.

Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
this problem occurs when there is a short circuit in the phone... you most likely got it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip..

Lost ability to connect to the internet on my desktop after installing Mavericks on my laptop, is there a connection?

I recently installed Mavericks on my laptop. I have an Ethernet cable I connect to my modem to gain access to the internet. I have another Ethernet cable I use on my desktop computer and I connect THAT cable to the modem when I want to gain access on the desktop. Right now, I have access to the internet on my laptop but not on my desktop. The internet service provider checked everything and could not find a problem. They suggested I contact Apple. Is there any connection between my recent upgrade to OS X Maverick on my laptop and my internet connection issue on the desktop? Last thing, the internet service provider suggested that the problem lies in some setting or preference...Thank you in advance!

Unless you router is an Apple Airport, I doubt that updating your laptop would have changed anything, but who knows.
I would recommend trying to hold the reset button on your router for 30 seconds. This may fix the issue, but this will probably erase all of your router's settings like wifi passwords and stuff like that.

If you don't want to risk completely resetting your router, I would suggest trying the following:
– On your laptop (which has a connection)
– Go to System Preferences >> Network >> Advanced >> TCP/IP
– Write down the IP number next to "Router"
– – – Mine looks like this:    192.168.1.125
– Go to your browser (Safari etc.) and go to     http://RouterIP
– – – Where "RouterIP" is the number you wrote down before. Mine looks like this:    http://192.168.1.125
This will take you to your router's settings page.
It will probably ask you for a username and password. They probably are:
User:    admin
password:   admin
or
User: admin
Password:   your router/wifi password
Look all the settings on this site and see if everything is set to reasonable values.

If all else fails, then it's probably something to do with the settings on your desktop PC.

Widgets that require web connection not working

I have an ongoing issue where widgets that I download that require web connection seem to have trouble doing their job, I recently switched from Safari to Firefox could this have anything to do with it.
More specifically it's an i-tunes album art widget that is not working, is it an itunes upgrade thing?

DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
Problems are that many Modems/Routers don't communicate the DNS Servers with macs all that well because they've made mistakes in their Firmware & by golly by gee, they tell MS about the workaround!
Then, many... even major ISPs have DNS problems and may have not even patched them against DNS poisoning!

Is there a connection between the performance and the number of photos?

Is there a connection between the performance of LR 4 (LR 5) and the number of photos in the catalog? Will it slow down LR with a directory of more than 40,000 images (Win7, 4 Gb RAM)?

I use lots of smart and dumb collections, lots of keywords too, also on Win7/64 though with 12Gb of Ram.
Have you read through Optimizing performance, especially running a File > Optimize. Also Performance hints is more handy for troubleshooting.

Running Oracle 10g Express without Web connection.

Hello Oracle Users/Friends
I previously used Oracle 8i on an older machine running Windows 98. No web connections required to run database. Have just installed Oracle 10g Express Edition on newer machine running XP Pro. Suddenly Web connections required for database Homepage etc. All cool. But, I just want to start database without requiring Web connections to practise plsql stuff.
It is probably an easy configuration somewhere, but could someone just explain how to start/run database without Web connection?
I also want to run the database from laptop while travelling on train and hence want to navigate through all features of Oracle 10g without web connection.
I guess a further question is simply what is the advantage of the database connecting to Web for someone like myself who is just wanting to run all queries etc locally on the base PC?
Would appreciate advice on this matter.

Well, when installing XE out of the box, all remote connections from other machines are disallowed by default.
Thus only you can access the management user interface of XE. The GUI is run in a web browser, thus you will need the web connection for yourself on your local machine. This is a very good reason to have the web connection enabled ;).
In order to disallow any web connections (even from your local machine) you can use dbms_xdb.sethttpport('0'); ( http://daust.blogspot.com/2006/01/xe-changing-default-http-port.html ) .

Starting this week, when i clikc on a link, I get the link and a second link is executed and displayed. The secon link is an advertisement link for Instant Checkmate. How do I stop this?
