ISE 1.2 Guest Report based on specific Guest IP Address

Hi
I have a simple requirement which I am not able to find the way. Maybe someone can help me out.
I have a WLC / WiSM2 (7.5) Guest Controller and ISE 1.2 (Patch5) in production with only CWA for Guest Access.
Since I should create a query based on the Guest's IP Address, I tried to find a way to do so. But the "Guest Activity" report is empty (I do not have a cisco ASA with URL logging in place).
If I do a "Guest Accounting" Report, I am able to see the IP Address attribute per user (so the data is there). But there is no way to filter on that coloum (neither thorugh the filter button which only allows to filter on Endpoint ID and/or Identity, nor is there an option like in ACS 5.x to do an Interactive search).
Any help?
The Authentication tab would do the job as well, but there are no filterable time ranges....
Thanks!

If anybody get into the same isse, I got an answer from cisco to this, what I found out as well as a possible, but not very handy way:
"A workaround is to configure a remote syslog target to capture logging category Administrative and Operational Audit and filter and parse the logs accordingly."

  • How to Configure TAB style reports based on specific Data?

    Hi All,
    I am new to Business Objects.
    I have an existing BO report and configured to display certain specific data in TAB sheets based on a kind of rule.
    Where is this exactly Configured in Desktop Intelligence? I need to modify this to add new TAB's as well as change some of the existing ones.
    I am being able to Run my UNIVERSE properly and retrieving all the required data (let's say I am getting 10 different Products, I need to display the associated data of specific Products on Seperate TAB sheets and some others in One TAB) but now my report displayed only part of the data (some of the products).
    Your help is much appreciated.

    Baz

    Hi Sneha,
    The only logic, i guess, that could be used is either defining the join fields or some restriction put in the selection conditions tab of the view. for e.g. if the view should only return Doc type XYZ, the same could be implemented in selection conditions tab. for transaction to check the view, it was already posted above.

  • PPV report or functional Specification

    Dear Friends,
    I tried but did not find any standard Purchase Price variance report. My client's report requirement is :
    PO, Mateial, Std Price, Std Cost , Actual Price, Actual Qty, Actual Cost, Batch, Vendor..............
    All information I collected to develop a report except actual Price and Actual Cost.
    My client is Indian and we are using CIN. In PO there is basic rate/cost but final/other rate are deriving from MM condition i.e frieght/insurance, excise etc.....
    I am not able to find field/fields from where I can get final actual cost of PO or final actual price.
    Although in table KONV I can total value of PO but how can be linked , i dont know.
    Requesting you  please provide me your guidance or if any body has functinal specification and can send to me, please send (my id is in my profile).
    It would be great help.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Fo actual PPV, we wrote our PPV report based on the PPV account.
    Report selects and entry for the PPV account and then brings information like PO number, material number, vendor, Inventory value postes, GRIR amount posted. -
    It is massive program, but both Finance and Purchasing use it to review and explain PPV

  • Report based on particular workflow

    Hi all.
    We made a custom workflow for t code fv60. It has got various levels of approvals and conditions. Now the requirement is to develop a report based on this workflow - similar to swi1. but our purpose of the report is to show various parked and published FI documents and the various users in whose inboxes these document mails are kept in varios approvaql stages. E. G. If today a document is parked by user abc and is approved at first level by user def and now that document is in user ghi's inbox  as a workitem , waiting his approval, the report should show all the users and the statuses of document at each stage.
    Is it possible?.
    if so please give some sample code or example on how to build the report.
    Thanks
    Ribhu

    Hi,
    Yes, it is possible but it will be specific to your workflow only and as Kjetil says making a very general report like this for any workflow will be tough !!
    However i can suggest the following so that you can start continuing on this
    1. First find out the Workflow Template number used and also list all the major user decision steps Task Numbers ( say approval1 - Task1, approval2 - Task2, approval3 - Task 3) used. Lets call it as {Task List}
    2. Given the from date and to date and type of document ( KR/KG etc..) get all the FI Documents parked/created on these dates.
    3. For each FI Invoice No call SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT  with proper object type ( should be either FIPP or BKPF) , object key ( company code + doc no + fiscal year), fill in the Task Filter with your Task List}
       a. The Table parameter WORKLIST will contain information about the workitems related to your user decision items, loop through them and if completed find the actual agent else find the list of recipients using SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_RECIPIENTS, you can show this as inprocess.
    4. Infact once you get the WORKLIST you can do whatever you want.
    If you have more than one possible workflows associated with same Invoice , then you have to filter your WORKLIST again based on correct workflow template number using WI_CHCKWI field.
    Good Luck !!

  • Creating a report based on a calendar

    Hi there!
    I would appreciate if anyone helps me with this issue.
    I've to manage a report based on a calendar. It is based on a monthly calendar in which you can see data for each day, then you can drill down to a weekly view and even a daily one (then you can drill down to the data atached to each day). It has to be dynamic because each month is different from the previous one and from the following one...
    Has OBIEE any function that would help on managing this kind of report?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards

    I think this is not a drill down issue. It has to do with the creation of a report in a dynamic calendar.
    The issue is to be able to present the events in a way people can understan the time impact they have. In Siebel, you can view all the programed activities (events) as a normal calendar, showing in the days of the week as columns and the weeks as lines. In every interaction (specific day) the report should show all the events that are programed for that day.
    Being OBIEE the reporting plataform, this is a very important report that should allow people to filetr the view by dimension. For example is should show only those events programed for the noth zone, or marked as critical.
    This should alse have the posibility to drill down to the spoecific event-report.
    The difficult part is to be able to create the calendar view in a dynamic way.

  • Creating report based on master data

    Hi Guys,
    I want to create a specific report based on master data in BI cube. for example... a report which takes cost center and period as variable and display expenses for that period and cost center. This report I want to create for all cost center in BI database separately. any idea how can we do this?
    There are 2000 cost centers and I need to print/send 2000 reports one for every cost center.
    If I store all cost center in excel file, can it be easier?
    broadcasting and creating 2000 schedule - not option.
    Thanks..SM

    Hi  stuti misra,
    Create ONE Query with selection Cost Center and Period are inputs.
    Create text variables for Cost Center and Period and add in Query Description.
    After query execution you can see description based on selection in workbook or webtemplate.
    Hope it Helps

  • Can We generate Check report based on Custom Dimension in FDM

    Hi All,
    We got a requirement in our project to generate the check report based on custom dimension. As far as i know the check reports that got generated in FDM are based on Entity Dimension.
    So, will you please let me know whether it is possible to generate report based on any one of the custom dimension.
    Thanks.

    I guess I am not understanding the question here?
    The check report is based on the location/entity that you are running the report for.  You can pull values for a specific intersection in the target application with the check report, so you could specify the custom dim in the intersection.

  • Report Based Total - when??

    Hi,
    sometimes I get the issue that when I put totals on groups in reports they are only correct when I have un-ticked 'report based total', but at other times, sometimes with the same source, it works fine....
    I have trawled the site on advice around report based totals, but can anyone give me a definitive rule for when 'report based total' will definitely work, and when it will definitely not work, and if there are any areas of grey between these where the 'safer' option is to un-tick report based total.
    My reason for the request is that I am putting together an answers guide which includes specific advice on our repository, and I would like to be able to give the advice, against each business area of whether to use 'rbt' or not.
    Finally am I correct that the only benefit to using report based total is one of speed?
    My version is 10.1.3.4
    Many thanks,

  • Need to create report based on criteria between a range of dates

    I am very new to Numbers '09 and a beginner with spreadsheets.  I've searched and can't find a formula that fits this.  I've tried Match/IF  Match/Index  VLookup  If/And formulas but can't get the right results.
    I need to be able to create a report based on data from Master Spreadsheet.  I need formulas that will populate Report Page B8:B17 and D8:D17 from data in Master Spreadsheet that meets criteria range of dates (Report Page B5 and B6).
    The closest I've come was an IF(AND formula, but that left blank lines on my report page.  (I understand why, just not sure how to resolve it.)
    P.S.  I am working in Numbers '09 on an iPad (yes, the samples below are not in the Numbers program, but it was easier to do screen shots on my Mac notebook
    Master Spreadsheet:
    Report Page:

    Hi KC,
    So you are trying to retrieve the dates and associated comments for a specific student in a specific class between the two dates.
    Here's an example, using OFFSET and MATCH, plus an added index column on the Master table. Formulas and discussion below.
    Column E uses IF and AND to determine which rows contain the data to be transferred, thn uses MAX to number those rows.
    Master::E2: =IF(AND(A>=Report :: $B$5,A<=Report :: $B$6,B=Report :: $B$3,C=Report :: $B$4),MAX($E$1:E1)+1,"")
    Fill down to the bottom of column E.
    I don't see a need to repeat the "Date" and "Comment" labels on each row containing a date and comment, so I've placed these as fixed text in A8 and B8 of the Report table, and filled the cells below those with the dates and comments using MATCH and OFFSET.
    A9: =IF(ROW()>MAX(Master :: $E)+8,"",OFFSET(Master :: $A$1,MATCH(ROW()-8,Master :: $E,0)-1,0))
    B9: =IF(ROW()>MAX(Master :: $E)+8,"",OFFSET(Master :: $A$1,MATCH(ROW()-8,Master :: $E,0)-1,3))
    As can be seen, these formulas are identical except for the column-offset argument in OFFSET, shown in bold in the examples.
    Fill both formulas down to the bottoms of their columns.

    Barry

  • Allow users to create reports based on their own selection of fields

    Is there a way to allow users to create reports based on their own selection of fields?
    And if there is a way, then how?
    In access we retrieve all demographic info on one screen and on another screen user can be able to choose specific fields from a list box to import data into file.

    Hi,
    This can be handled in various ways - but the principles are the same.
    You need to apply conditional displays to all of the columns that your user can select and base the display of a column on the value of a field on the page.
    You can have a series of Yes/No options - one for each field and base the display on the corresponding field being Yes. Or you can use checkboxes.
    However, if you wish to use a multiselect list (which is probably easier as you can dynamically generate the list of field names), you will need to have hidden fields that will store either Y/N or 1/0 (I use ones/zeros) and have the conditional displays watch these fields instead. Populating these hidden fields is a bit more tricky than just having fields on the page that the user can control, but is doable:
    1 - Create one hidden field for each field in the report that you want to show/hide. Put these fields in the same region as the select list in a region above the report
    2 - Set conditional display values to "Value of Item in Expression 1 = Expression 2" and use the appropriate hidden field for Expression 1 and in Expression 2 enter in 1
    3 - Create a page process that runs on submit, and create PL/SQL code something like:
    DECLARE
    lFields HTMLDB_APPLICATION_GLOBAL.VC_ARR2;
    vField VARCHAR2(1000);
    BEGIN
    :P31_SHOW_EMPNO := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_ENAME := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_JOB := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_MGR := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_HIREDATE := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_SAL := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_COMM := 0;
    :P31_SHOW_DEPTNO := 0;
    lFields := HTMLDB_UTIL.STRING_TO_TABLE(:P31_FIELDS);
    FOR i IN lFields.FIRST..lFields.LAST LOOP
    vField := lFields(i);
    IF vField = 'EMPNO' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_EMPNO := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'ENAME' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_ENAME := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'JOB' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_JOB := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'MGR' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_MGR := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'HIREDATE' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_HIREDATE := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'SAL' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_SAL := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'COMM' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_COMM := 1;
    ELSIF vField = 'DEPTNO' THEN
    :P31_SHOW_DEPTNO := 1;
    END IF;
    END LOOP;
    END;
    4 - Finally, add a button that generates the report - this just needs to submit the page and branch back to the same page
    I've used the standard EMP table for this example and my hidden fields are P31_SHOW_fieldname. The code resets the hidden fields to 0, checks if the user has selected the field from the list (P31_FIELDS) and changes the hidden fields value to 1 for all those selected. When the page is re-rendered, the report hides the columns where the hidden field value is 0 and displays those where it is 1. The export option will then only export those fields that are displayed.
    You can see an example of this here:

  • How to create a report based on a DataSet programatically

    I'm working on a CR 2008 Add-in.
    Usage of this add-in is: Let the user choose from a list of predefined datasets, and create a totally empty report with this dataset attached to is. So the user can create a report based on this dataset.
    I have a dataset in memory, and want to create a new report in cr2008.
    The new report is a blank report (with no connection information).
    If I set the ReportDocument.SetDataSource(Dataset dataSet) property, I get the error:
    The report has no tables.
    So I must programmatically define the table definition in my blank report.
    I found the following article: https://boc.sdn.sap.com/node/869, and came up with something like this:
    internal class NewReportWorker : Worker
          public NewReportWorker(string reportFileName)
             : base(reportFileName)
    public override void Process()
             DatabaseController databaseController = ClientDoc.DatabaseController;
             Table table = new Table();
             string tabelName = "Table140";
             table.Name = tabelName;
             table.Alias = tabelName;
             table.QualifiedName = tabelName;
             table.Description = tabelName;
             var fields = new Fields();
             var dbField = new DBField();
             var fieldName = "ID";
             dbField.Description = fieldName;
             dbField.HeadingText = fieldName;
             dbField.Name = fieldName;
             dbField.Type = CrFieldValueTypeEnum.crFieldValueTypeInt64sField;
             fields.Add(dbField);
             dbField = new DBField();
             fieldName = "IDLEGITIMATIEBEWIJS";
             dbField.Description = fieldName;
             dbField.HeadingText = fieldName;
             dbField.Name = fieldName;
             dbField.Type = CrFieldValueTypeEnum.crFieldValueTypeInt64sField;
             fields.Add(dbField);
             // More code for more tables to add.
             table.DataFields = fields;
             //CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ConnectionInfo info =
             //   new CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.DataDefModel.ConnectionInfo();
             //info.Attributes.Add("Databse DLL", "xxx.dll");
             //table.ConnectionInfo = info;
             // Here an error occurs.
             databaseController.AddTable(table, null);
             ReportDoc.SetDataSource( [MyFilledDataSet] );
             //object path = @"d:\logfiles\";
             //ClientDoc.SaveAs("test.rpt", ref path, 0);
    The object ClientDoc referes to a ISCDReportClientDocument in a base class:
       internal abstract class Worker
          private ReportDocument _ReportDoc;
          private ISCDReportClientDocument _ClientDoc;
          private string _ReportFileName;
          public Worker(string reportFileName)
             _ReportFileName = reportFileName;
             _ReportDoc = new ReportDocument();
             // Load the report from file path passed by the designer.
             _ReportDoc.Load(reportFileName);
             // Create a RAS Document through In-Proc RAS through the RPTDoc.
             _ClientDoc = _ReportDoc.ReportClientDocument;
          public string ReportFileName
             get
                return _ReportFileName;
          public ReportDocument ReportDoc
             get
                return _ReportDoc;
          public ISCDReportClientDocument ClientDoc
             get
                return _ClientDoc;
    But I get an "Unspecified error" on the line databaseController.AddTable(table, null);
    What am i doing wrong? Or is there another way to create a new report based on a DataSet in C# code?

    Hi,
    Have a look at the snippet code below written for version 9 that you might accommodate to CR 2008, it demonstrates how to create a report based on a DataSet programmatically.
