Issue in deploying webservice created from a JWS file.
Hi,
I tried deploying the helloworld sample webservice. Here are the files that i used.
h1. HelloWorldImpl .java
package com.agile.ws.helloworld.v1;
import java.security.Principal;
import javax.annotation.Resource;
import javax.jws.WebMethod;
import javax.jws.WebParam;
import javax.jws.WebResult;
import javax.jws.WebService;
import javax.jws.soap.SOAPBinding;
import javax.xml.ws.WebServiceContext;
import weblogic.jws.Policy;
@WebService(name="HelloWorld", serviceName="HelloWorldService", targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/AgileServices/Core/HelloWorld/V1")
@Policy(uri="policy:Wssp1.2-2007-Saml2.0-Bearer-Https.xml")
@SOAPBinding(style=SOAPBinding.Style.DOCUMENT, use=SOAPBinding.Use.LITERAL, parameterStyle=SOAPBinding.ParameterStyle.WRAPPED)
public class HelloWorldImpl {
@Resource private WebServiceContext ctx;
@WebResult(name="response", targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/AgileServices/Core/HelloWorld/V1")
@WebMethod()
public HelloWorldVO sayHello(@WebParam(name="IntegerInput", targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/AgileServices/Core/HelloWorld/V1") HelloWorldVO request) {
Principal prp = ctx.getUserPrincipal();
String username = prp.getName();
String message = "User Name:" + username + "\tMessage:" + request.getMessage();
HelloWorldVO response = new HelloWorldVO();
response.setMessage(message);
System.out.println(message);
return response;
h1. HelloWorldVO .java
package com.agile.ws.helloworld.v1;
public class HelloWorldVO {
private String message;
public void setMessage(String message) {
this.message = message;
public String getMessage() {
return message;
h1. build.xml
<project default="generateFromWsdl">
<taskdef name="wsdlc" classname="weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.WsdlcTask"/>
<taskdef name="jwsc" classname="weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.JwscTask" />

h1. Issue
I am able to run both the targets and the war gets generated. I copied the contents of application.xml (given below) to the existing application's application.xml file and also copied the war to the appropriate location.
h3. application.xml contents

I am trying with Weblogic 10.3.5 version. Any pointers to solve the issue would be of great help.
Thanks,

Hi,
I believe that the problem you are having is that you have a delimited file, of which you want to pick columns from position 2,3,5. In this case, ODI will pick the first 3 columns of a delimited file regardless of position.
For example, if you a tab delimited file with c1,c2,c3,c4,c5 columns, and you want only columns c2,c3,c5 - when mapping these in an ODI interface, and executing, you will actually pick up the data from c1,c2,c3 as these are the first three columns in the file (reading from left to right). You can ignore "columns" on the right hand side of a file, but not the left. E.g delimited file with c1,c2,c3,c4,c5. Only pick columns c1,c2 will give you data for the first 2 columns
Create a temporary table to load all the data from the file, and use you temp table to extract the data you require. Or you could get the file created with the first three columns as the columns you require.
Cheers
Bos

Creating a webservice adapter from a wsdl file that uses Basic Auth.
Hi all,
I having problems generating a webservice adapter from a wsdl file that another company has created (read: I cannot change it). It is protected with Basic Authentication.
I have read other forums posts like http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=9374940 where it describes how to add credentials after one has created a webserviceadapter.
My problem is actually generating the proxy from the wsdl file. I get a 401 when I try to generate it using the wizard. That's due to JDeveloper not allowing me to type in the username/password. So my question is, how does one do that?
I'm using JDeveloper 11gR1 ...4.0
Thanks!

Hello. May I ask: I am using Acrobat 6.0.2, and having trouble formatting a PDF created from multiple (jpeg) files. Each page is formatted to A4 size, portrait. But when I create the PDF, each sheet appears as tiny, in the middle of a huge white page. I cannot seem to find any controls to adjust this. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks CtDave, for the further info. Unfortunately, those suggestions are not working, which is strange.
....Until last week, I used to make multi-page PDFs straight from Photoshop: File > Automate > Make PDF. One simply choses the files, orders them, and creates a PDF. (Resolution doesn't matter; 300 DPI is no problem.) However, my new Photoshop CS5 does not have the option in Automate.
What I've done, seeing as Acrobat is letting me down, is use Bridge (new to me) to create the PDF. It worked without a problem, but seems like more work than the old PS method. I will download a newer version of Acrobat to see if that makes any difference.
.....Also, thanks Test Screen Name: I agree with you that jpeg is irrelevant, and that one can make a PDF from Photoshop (Print > Save As - pdf). But that only works for SINGLE PAGE pdf, not multiple pages as far as I can tell.
Kind regards,

i shoot raw+ jpg in camera, for some reason the jpgs that come from my camera (nikon D300) always seem better than the jpgs i create
from the nef files in camera raw. i am saving at the highest quality. the jpgs from the camera seem to have more detail in highlights
better color more vibrant, sharper. could my camera be doing some enhancements to the jpgs before processing?I had similar thoughts back when I first started shooting raw. Really, it's just a matter of editing to your personal taste.
Yes, that camera applies lots of presets before creating the jpeg, as Trevor.Dennis mentioned. Also, as he said, you can far surpass native jpegs with raw.
If you need it more vibrant, make it so. If you need to bring down the highlights, do so. Need sharpening? Apply some.
Here is one of my edits that I made a tutorial of: Sunrise Raw File Edit - Adobe Lightroom - Landscape Photography - YouTube. It is one of my less dramatic edits, but still a good one.
I don't want to clutter this thread with links, but if you take a look at my Facebook page, I put a lot of before and afters up in January and February. A Google search for Benjamin Root Photography will bring it up.
I shoot in raw, and highly recommend it.
I'll leave you with a nice NEF RAW file before and after:
BTW, D300 is a nice camera, I've used it...

Calling webservice from webdynpro thru model(webservice created from BAPI)
Hi all
i have created one webservice from Functional module in backend system(ECC) and also i released the same webservice in backend(ECC) thru the TCODE wsconfig.
my questions are
1) how to execute that created Webservice in backend system itself(ECC). can you please send the execution steps for webservice in ECC system.
2) how to call from webdynpro thru model for that created webservice from functional module. can you please send the execution steps for the same. here there are three options while model for webservice like local server,Local file system and UDDI or URL.

Accessign webservice result from another mxml file
HI,
I have an mxml application that uses the <mx:webservice
function to load a wsdl and get some values. I have tested the code
and it works fine and i can get the result and fault methods
correctly.
I would now like to call this service from another mxml file
and use access the result or fault string accordingly.
example scenario would be that when i load my main page, i
would like the lookup values obtained from using the webservice to
be available.
i tried the following but didnt get any luck. Here lookup is
the mxml file which contains the webservice, which i am importing
in this file. GetLookValuesWithAuth is the operation name.
var l:lookup=new lookup;
var s:AsyncToken=l.es.GetLookupValuesWithAuth.send();
s.addResponder(new mx.rpc.Responder(onSResult,onSFault));
public function onSResult(e:ResultEvent):void{
Alert.show("value is");
var xy:XMLList=XMLList(e.result);
lplist=xy.descendants("LOOKUPVALUES");
Alert.show("lookup is
"+lplist.toXMLString()+xy.toXMLString());
public function onSFault(e:FaultEvent):void
Alert.show("Fault is "+e.toString());
An example of the webservice call in lookup.mxml is shown
below
<mx:WebService id="e1" wsdl="{wsdl "
result="resultHandler(event)"
fault="mx.controls.Alert.show(event.fault.faultString.toString())>
<mx:operation name="GetLookupValuesWithAuth"
resultFormat="e4x">
<mx:request>
<databaseName>{database name}</databaseName>
<userName>{username}</userName>
<password>{password}</password>
<lookupID>05855b98-75c7-4117-a91c-db59e9ea0204</lookupID>
</mx:request>
</mx:operation>

I have no idea about web services, but it seems to me you
should have a
closing curly bracket in the wdsl property.

Error while testing the Webservice created from RFC enabled function module
Our client has provided the SAP WSDL URL and We tried to generate stub using AXIS 2 tool from this SAP WSDL URL and got u201Cservice and binding tagu201D missing error.
It seems that clients SAP wsdl file is having only web service interface information and does not have Access Description i.e service and binding tag information .
Is it mandatory to have service and binding tag in SAP wsdl to consume webservice from third party java application ?
Could you please let us know how to resolve this error?

Thanks ,

Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Mar 25, 2011 1:16 PMHi,
I think you might have received wrong WSDL.
In transaction SOAMANGER for a WebService you can select:
Porttype WSDL document
or
WSDL document for selected binding or service -> for a concrete binding
You need to get the second one which contains service and binding information. The first one is just interface description. -
Issues to Production Orders created from Sales Order
We have multiline Sales Orders that create a Production order for each sales order line (can be up to 70 or 80 per SO). We normally backflush these via multiple MB1A transactions after the SO has been completed. It is a lot of work doing the required issues to reduce stock levels and consequently they are always "late" being done and the stock is always out of date until the movements (type 261) are processed - generally monthly!!
As a result, an Access Database has been created that reduces stock in that by entering the SO number and this is used for Stock enquiries. I would like to get rid of this Access database so as I'm sure other people have hit this same problem, is there a way of doing the same in SAP i.e. enter SO number and then relevant stocks are reduced accordingly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
JimHi,
I am not clear why you are manually doing the process? When the production order is confirmed for each operation (CO11) the goods movement should be posted then, backflush selected in work centre or in the production order.
Any failures can be processed via COGI rather than a database.
Thanks. -
Driver Issue when deploying custom image from SCCM
Hi,
I have a sysprepped wim file that I can deploy from a USB stick or via TS using an SCCM 2012 bootable media.
Perhaps one comment up front: I am not using SCCM to apply any drivers.
With USB deployment, everything is fine. When I deploy via SCCM, and login as an unprivileged user for the first time, I get an admin popup trying to complete the AMD graphic adapter driver installation. If I supply the credentials, or login first as an
admin, then everything is fine.
Updating the driver removed this problem/behaviour, but it left me wondering what the difference might be.
Since I have all drivers within the wim file and have a PE instance outside the control of SCCM that actually injects the drivers before rebooting and running mini setup, I cannot figure out why there might be a difference in behaviour.
Any ideas?Well to be honest, I am trying to understand what is going on
In my opinion you should use ConfigMgr driver packages in your task sequence. This leads to less anomalies and "trying to understand what is going on" with your solution.
This leaves you more time to concentrate on the important stuff.

WebService generation from existing WSDL file :(
Hello,
I have just tried to create a WebService from an existing WSDL (which has been developed and validated with Eclipse) with JDeveloper and got the follwing stack trace. I do not think, that this error message is very usefull, because I can't see the point where it referes to my WSDL document. By the way, the Eclipse validation went through without having any trouble.
Here are my JDeveloper coordinates to give you the chance to follow up:
- Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.1.0
- Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.1.0_GENERIC_090615.0017.5407
Running JDeveloper in MacOSX:
- Version 10.5.8
- Build 9L31a
Cheers,
Chris

that was exactly what I tried right now ;-)
I figured that JDeveloper has a more strict validation than Eclipse and recognizes white spaces within certain tags.
When I have cleaned my WSDL and XSD files I started with a new procedure of generating WebServices (form local JDeveloper files) and encountered the following issue:

Hello,
I am running Adobe Suite CS 5.1 on my Mac:
2.8 GHz Quad Core
6GB Memory
I've been having issues with a few projects; using Dynamic Link, directly from my project in Premier, to send them to Encore:
When attempting to burn a DVD, Encore will 'hang up' and not burn; I rarely burn to DVD, usually I'm always encoding for web, and just always use the 'default settings' in Encore.
A few things to note:
*In my project I'm using MOV files, from a Canon 7D, and MP4 files, from a Sony EX-1.
*I am working off of 3 separate hard drives; very large projects with over 5TBs of media files.
*I noticed that after inserting a DVD, it caused one of my hard drives to eject; this happened once, as far as I know.
*This only happens when I use Dynamic Link to send to Encore, via my Premiere Pro project file.
*My Project settings are always: XDCam HD-1080p/24p
Please help.
ThanksSo you must downrez at some point in the workflow. Some users have problems and/or think they get better quality out of direct PR/AME exports than using DL for this purpose.
I would test the workflow by creating three short test sequences - one with a clip from one camera, a second from the other, and a third with both in a sequence using the same settings you are using in your edit. I would use the "drag a clip" to the new item method for making each of the first two sequences. By short I mean 30 seconds to 2 minutes with a mixture of still and action.
Export using whatever method you pick of those recommended, but use CBR 8 instead of VBR etc. Bring the resulting files into Encore. Yes, look at the files exported on the computer, and look at Encore preview, etc, but also burn to a disk and watch on multiple TVs. There are lots of issues in best quality. -
Importing a Flash Video created from a DVD file into a presentation
We have a DVD recording that we converted to various formats, including SWF, AVI and FLA/FLV. We want to use our LMS to track who has watched the video so we hoped to use a Capitvate Presentation and the SCORM feature. I created a new presentation and used the Insert Flash Video feature. The Flash object appears on the screen but it won't play neither after publishing nor will it preview in Browser. I can play it in a plain HTML file, so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem wth the FLV file itself. I also tried using the Insert Animation with the SWF version and it just hangs up Captivate and still nothing happens. Clearly I am missing some critical step for importing video and while I've scoured the forum, I just can't seem to find a solution. Any assistance would be appreciated.
What version of Captivate are you using ?

Multiple POu2019s were created from same requirement
Issue: multiple POu2019s were created from same requirement (i.e. requirement had quantity of 100. 60 was put on one PO and 40 was put on another PO), BBP_GET_STATUS_2 program returns an error
-Please let me know some tips/ pointers to investgate this issue.
-How to investgate this issue? I really appreciate a thought process to investigate,Hi Rick,
The splitting of a requirement into mulitple PO's will happen due to some criteria checks. Please see my note 1380879, where it states the following:
There are a number of criteria that are taken into account when creating
the follow-on document:
proc_org Purchasing Org
proc_group Purchasing Group
co_code Company Code
Pcins Procurement card company
Pcnum Procurement card number
ext_quote_id External Quotation
logsys_fi Logical Financial System
ext_dem_logsys Logical System from where an External Re-quirement Comes
ext_dem_posid External Requirement Item Number
Subtype Item Subtype (Extended, local scenario)
guid_ven Vendor Guid
guid_prpven Desired vendor Guid
suppl_addr. Ship to address fields
Doc_type Process Type
Additional splits:
Always split extended limit items
Always split if there is a missing vendor
Items grouped by hierarchies are split to separate PO s
The split criteria can be found within the code of Class
CL_BBP_SC_TRANSFER. From this class there are a method's depending on
the follow-on document type:
SPLIT_BACKEND_OBJECTS
SPLIT_BACKEND_PO
SPLIT_BID
SPLIT_LOCAL_AND_BACKEND_ITEMS
SPLIT_LOCAL_OBJECTS
SPLIT_LOCAL_PO
SPLIT_LOCAL_PO_DO
SPLIT_PO_BE_MAP_CRITERIA
SPLIT_PO_LOC_CHK_LIMIT
SPLIT_PO_LOC_CMP_CRITERIA
SPLIT_PO_LOC_MAP_CRITERIA
