The BDC program we had prepared for updating IT0591 is not allowing more than 3 nomination per pernr whereas when I do this online 5 nominations are allowed.
Request you to please look on this matter and give your valuable input

Issues since itunes update 11.0.2.26

Ipod nano 6th generation. No previous issues. I updated itunes on my PC to 11.0.2.26 recently and when I opened it the first time all of my music was gone. It asked to do a scan and import and I agreed. My music came back (at least I hope they are all there) but my playlists are gone (they are still on my nano though). I recently bought some new music and went to sync my ipod with my computer. I connects fine, it comes up in itunes as being connected, I can look at the music on it, but it isn't actually syncing. The new music I purchased is not showing up on the nano after the nano screen claims to have synced. (Interestingly it only does this screen right after I plug it into the usb, not if I manuallly tell it to sync on the pc, which apparently does nothing). I have reset, restarted, tried different cords, and alternated usb outlets, etc. Ran diagnostics and all device connectivity tests pass and it says ipod connected, but in the next screen when I try to run the device sync tests it tells me no ipod found. This all started with the new update...

Try just downloading and installing from the Support site - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1614 - instead of the Mac App Store.

Issue installing System Update 5.01

Hello all I am having an issue installing System update 5.01. I looked in the logs within the temp directory and it says error 1602 which is user canceled. However, I am not canceling the install. I also tried http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall that didn't work either.
I'm on a T420 with Windows 7 64bit.
Any ideas?

I had similar issues installing 5.01. I believe there is something wrong with the package. Here is how I fixed it:
Download installer from http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID=TVSU-UPDATE
Extract package with 7zip
Copy "Lenovo System Update.msi" to "System Update.msi"
Run setup.exe
For some reason the installer was looking for this file and it wasn't there, perhaps running the installer in silent/unattended mode caused it to exit with the code you mentioned.
I hope this fixes your problem too!

It's important that you have a steady WiFi connection, ZealousEdge. What phone do you have? Is your phone unable to connect to any WiFi network? If you can, please try deleting the saved WiFi network and re-adding it.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to perform an update. I recommend trying to update using iTunes, and as always, it is a good idea to make a backup first.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Date format Issue after HRSP Update

Hi,
We are faced with a strange issue after HRSP update was applied on our client system (upgraded from SAP-KE-30 to SAP-KE-36).
There is an outgoing interface which picks up all the the starters into the local government pension scheme and updates a B2A document. This is implemented via a z-program.
When we look at the out put after the interface has run for the vast majority of employees it shows their date of birth as 21.05.1968 when it should show it as 21051968. This only appears to have happen after the HRSP's have been applied.
No modifications have been made to the z-program. What could be the reason for this issue. has anyone faced such an issue post HRSP update?
Any pointers on how to further investigate and resolve the issue will be most helpful.

In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry Smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS on the device.
To do this we would need to back up the BlackBerry Smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your device. Click on the Backup and Restore options and select Back Up. Please note the location where the backup is being saved as we will need to access it later to restore the BlackBerry Smartphone.
Once you have backed up your BlackBerry Smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry Smartphone software.

Snce this is a Mac OS X forum you are a bit off topic, that said, what iOS version do you have...Settitngs > General > About > Version? And do you know which iPod Touch generation?
If you have iOS less than 5 you need to connect to a computer, start iTunes, select the iPod from the list of Devices in the left side panel, then in the main Summary panel select Software Update. If you have an iPod Touch from the first generation, you can only go to iOS 3.1.3, generation 2 iOS 4.2.1, generation 3 iOS 5.1.1, generation 4 and above iOS 6.1.3. The generation 5 will be able to go to iOS 7 when it is released sometime during Fall 2013.

Since we've installed Windows update KB2955163 on Windows 8, we've been experiencing the following issues:
- After using Internet Explorer for a long while (one hour or longer), some websites won't work properly anymore. For example: list boxes and pop-ups don't appear.
- After using Internet Explorer for a long while (one hour or longer), employees can't access any external webpages. They receive a message saying the webpage isn't available. Reconfiguring the Proxy-settings will temporarily fix this problem.
*The above problems don't appear on all of our computers running Windows 8.
We've found the only fix for these problems, is to uninstall Windows update KB2955163.
All of our affected systems are running Windows 8 Enterprise x64, and come from various manufacturers (Dell / HP etc.).
Is anyone of you guys familiar with these specific issues regarding Windows update KB2955163?

In generally, it's not most likely be Windows update cause.
Let's narrow down the issue:
Have you tried to reset the Internet Explorer to check the result:
1.Close all Internet Explorer windows that are currently open.
2.Open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar. Changing your settings will affect both Internet Explorer and Internet Explorer for the desktop.
3.Tap or click the Tools button, and then tap or click
Internet options.
4.Tap or Click the Advanced tab, and then tap or click
Reset.
5.In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, tap or click Reset.
6.When Internet Explorer finishes applying default settings, tap or click
Close, and then tap or click OK. You'll need to restart your PC for these changes to take effect.
If it persists, perform a clean boot to see if it caused by some third-party software:

1) I have contacted Verizon and they are not blocking "premium" or 3rd party text messages.
2) The Apple ID login issue occurs regardless of wi-fi network location, or even if I am not on wi-fi at all. Router settings are irrelevant to this problem.
3) I have already played around extensively with date and time settings. This did not fix any issues.
Any other suggestions? I had another call with Apple support and they are of the opinion that I may need to have the phone totally replaced, which is unacceptable unless it is free of charge.

Exchange 2010 - Issues after rollup update installation.
We are having issues since we installed SP3 Rollup updates 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Issue1 - People get an error messages constantly popping up when they access our webmail. The error messages are:
An unexpected error occurred and your request couldn't be handled. and
Your network connection is unavailable. Please reconnect and try again.
Issue2 - When I open the Exchange Management Shell I get the following error:
Failed to connect to an Exchange server in the current site. Enter the server FQDN where you want to connect.
Issue3 - We have been using third party software to filter spam email. It is installed on our Exchange server. Since the updates it has not been working and we have tons of spam coming through. I dont think that this issue is that important at the moment and
hope that it will be fixed after resolving issues 1 and 2.
We uninstalled all four rollup updates in hopes that everything would go back to normal but it hasnt. We still have the same issues.
Currently we are running Exchange 2010 SP3 on 2008R2 SP1.
Please help.

Hi,
Based on the description, you got the error below when you tried to accessed OWA after rollup update installation.
"An unexpected error occurred and your request couldn't be handled, and Your network connection is unavailable. Please reconnect and try again."
For this issue, I recommend you check the OWA virtual directory to see if "Redirect requests to this destination" is checked. If it is checked, please uncheck the option. Then please restart IIS service to check the result.
Open IIS Manager -> owa -> HTTP Redirect -> uncheck "Redirect requests to this destination:"

Anyone else having issues with this update?!?!?!
Can't access anything in my library while it's doing this.

I moved into a clean install last night and when I fired up iTunes 10.5.1. I held down "option" key, selected my original library and everything was perfect. That was until I quit. It started to "update" the library. I was slightly concerned, but since I had just moved into a new install I let it go and hoped for the best. For 85GB it took quite a while, close to an hour. This made me a little more concerned, but in the light of Apple, I resigned myself to the fact that "stuff" happens. And again hoped for the best. So I would imagine for 275GB would be a lot more. THEN after that was done it asked if I wanted it do something to match my settings? ***? My settings were the same as they were in the previous install. Or did something not go right with 10.5.1 in the other install and this was overlooked? I OK'd it and hoped for the best again.
But now I am getting an error as I startup iTunes:
"A required iTunes component is not installed. Please reinstall iTunes. (-42404)"
iTunes comes up just fine behind this error and after dismissing it all is just fine. Or so I think or am led to believe. I'm thinking it's a "phone home" component, so I'm not real concerned. That's why I came here today to look up this error and stumbled on this post that somewhat happened to me last night.
Looks like the process takes a while. And what it's updating I'm not sure, but I run nightly updates and all the "important" iTunes files in many iterations are safely backed up for reversion. Apple, never a dull moment . . .

DElite Pro, CMSS-3D not working and other issues after driver update <font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="4">Elite Pro CMSS-3D control (on I/O console)no longer controls CMSS-3D.
The only time it works is if the original drivers are installed from the installation CD.
ANY other drivers stop the control on the Elite Pro I/O console from having any effect on CMSS-3D.
Also at one time when I cotrolled volume, CMSS-3D(original drivers), EAX and Crystalizer from the Elite Pro I/O controls then I had on screen display of said control that was being moved(on I/O console).
Now regardless of what drivers are installed, there?are no longer any on screen indicators.
The indicators looked like the ones that show when using the remote controller.
Anyone have any ideas?
