Hi,
Run the program 'RSTXTRAN' using transaction SE38 and attach the Text object to your TR.
Last time I faced the same problem.
Everything gets transported except Text object.
Hope it will be useful to u.

  • SOAP request to XI via external application

    Hi,
    We have the following scenario:
    there is 3rd party application (Sending SOAP Request)->SAP XI->IDOC
    We are using sender SOAP Adapter,we have done the following:
    ->We have generated WSDL by using define webservice from Integration Directory.
    ->We have provided wsdl to 3rd party.
    ->We have a question
    3rd Party application is a java based application based on OAS(Oracle Application Server).
    The application,  should  act as a SOAP Client sending a SOAP request to XI.
    Would this be possible?  The XI version which is being used here is XI 7.0 SP 18.
    Regards,
    Harleen Kaur Chadha

    Hey,

  • SOAP Request to "XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet" or"sap/xi/engine?type=entry"

    Hi,
    I created a webservice whichs creates an idoc from an orders05 xml file.
    I created a wsdl file and try it out with xml spy. It works fine.
    However I have a question.
    If I send the SOAP Request to:
    http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=PARTY:PARTY_Application:CC_PARTY_Application_SOAP_SND
    its working fine.
    If I send the SOAP Request to:
    http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry?channel=PARTY:PARTY_Application:CC_PARTY_Application_SOAP_SND
    it is not working.
    In the second case I can see my message in the monitor and I found my orders05 xml in the payload. However the message has no information about the sender, the application and the communication channel. So I got a lot of errors.
    I thought that both are url are doing the same with soap requests, the first is the adapter engine j2ee port and the other the abap stack http port.
    Could someone explain the differences to me and why the information is lost when using the abap port?
    Many thanks,
    Nils Kloth

    Hi,
    In the 2. case I think there shoudnt be two question marks.
    "http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry?"
    Shouldnt it be like this:
    "http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=entry:"
    Hope it helps (Please inform if it works)

    Dear Experts,
    I'm trying to use BI JAVA SDK to connect BW by using XMLA connector.
    But there's an error messaet said :
    SOAP request failed with return message 2147483653 ( Invalid MDX command with INCLUDING)
    I'm really new to this JAVA SDK, and after searching help in SAP Service Market and Google, there's no helpful suggestion.
    please help me about how to fix this error.
    Here is my code:

          Cube cube = olap.getObjectFinder().

        if (cube==null){
            System.out.println("no cube found");
    // Didn't print out this message, seems it can connect to BW and get the InfoCube and Query.

        findDimensionFirst(cube, "ZPLANT");
      Dimension materialDimension = olap.getObjectFinder().

      IBICommandProcessor commandProcessor = query.getCommandProcessor();
      commandProcessor.moveDimensionToRows(plantDimension);
      commandProcessor.moveDimensionToRows(materialDimension);
      IBIDataSet dataset = query.execute(); // After execute this statement, error happens.
    Thank you!
    Andy

    Solved myself, it's because the query used in my code have user input variable.

  • Issue with SOAP receiver

    Hi,
    I'm using PI 7.0, SP13 and I'm sending a message to a MS webservice, using BURP as a proxy in between to avoid NTLM authorisation issues.
    The problem is that it's perfecly possible to send a message using soapUI, but sending the exact same message ends up in an error:
    "SOAP: error occured: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 400 Bad Request: java.io.IOException: invalid content type for SOAP: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 400 Bad Request"
    I already configured the MessageTransformBean by setting the ContentType to text/xml; charset=utf-8. Here are the settings of my communication channel:
    Target URL: http://<correct URL on local network>
    User authentication: false
    Certificate authentication: false
    Proxy: BURP proxy and BURP port
    Proxy user authentication: false
    Secutiry profile: false
    Do not use SOAP envelope: false
    Keep headers: false
    Keep attachments: false
    Use encoded headers: false
    Use query string: false
    SOAP action: <correct SOAP action>
    I also played with the parameters "Do not use SOAP envelope", "Keep headers" and "Keep attachments", without any success. The only difference that I can think of is that soapUI runs on Windows, and the PI system runs on Linux.
    Ideas, anyone?

    @Baskar Gopal: I didn't generate a WSDL: I'm using the SOAP receiver to post a message to an existing webservice.
    @sdnuser: the endpoint URL is 100% correct. I also added the MessageTransformBean like I stated before.
    @Chirumamilla Sukarna: HTTP adapter doesn't work because I need the SOAP envelope.
    The payload is in both cases (soapUI and PI) the same. Here's the part that's different:
    soapUI (working part):
    POST /DynamicsNAV/WS/Rendon%20Voorburg/Codeunit/Webservice HTTP/1.0
    Accept-Encoding: gzip,deflate
    Content-Type: text/xml;charset=UTF-8
    SOAPAction: "urn:microsoft-dynamics-schemas/codeunit/Webservice:ContractorOrderInSync"
    User-Agent: Jakarta Commons-HttpClient/3.1
    Host: 192.168.1.8:7049
    Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
    Content-Length: 4292
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    SAP PI (not working part):
    POST /DynamicsNAV/WS/Rendon%20Voorburg/Codeunit/Webservice HTTP/1.0
    Accept: /
    Host: 192.168.1.8:7049
    User-Agent: SAP-Messaging-com.sap.aii.messaging/1.0505
    Authorization: Basic aGFhZ3dvbmVuQGJpbTpRYnFyRU84IQ==
    content-id: <soap-C89FD74E68782E13E1000000C0A8E010 @ sap.com>
    Content-Type: text/xml;charset=UTF-8
    Content-Length: 4292
    SOAPACTION: "urn:microsoft-dynamics-schemas/codeunit/Webservice:ContractorOrderInSync"
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    I know the content type looks correct here, but the SOAP adapter gives an error about this nevertheless.

    Hi ,
    copy the same URL  (Endpoint that you had given while generating wsdl file) to the browser and chek the status. ( http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=party:service:channel)
    See the below URL for the same i.e. SOAP adapter...http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fc/5ad93f130f9215e10000000a155106/content.htm

  • SOAP- XI- RFC , while posting soap request thru SPY , getting exception,

    Hello friends,
    I am trying <b>SOAP->XI->RFC</b> scenario. would like to explain in brief about requirement then <b>let me know if this is correct approach</b>
    <i>Our client wants a pull approach from R/3 , for example lets say he wants to get Material Master data from R/3.
    So he will send a SOAP request with the material number and r/3 should return back the details.</i>
    <b>So we have decided to go with SOAP->XI->RFC approach
    That means a sender SOAP Adapter and a receiver RFC adapter,</b>
    I have done all the designing, like creating my own DataType,MessagType all interfaces etc.
    then i created a Bussiness system of type third party with host name as XI host name to use for sender, and a business system of type Web As ABAP and used one of the R/3 as receiver system.
    Doubts: Once i created Soap channel in my sender businees system(where Interface name i gave my Message Interface name and its Namespace), and the receiver channel in my another bussiness system, i created the entire scenario using Configuration Wizard.
    NOW THE PROBLEM STARTS.
    After clicking Define Web Service , it asks for URL
    i gave following url
    http://ps3181:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=TPBS_Rohit:soapChannel
    TPBS_Rohit is my Sender (third party bussiness system name), and soapChannel is the channel under it.
    <b>tell me if this is right</b>
    Then in the Message Interface i selected my Message Interface name that i had created in Design for publishing.
    <u><b>MAJOR DOUBT</b></u>
    <b>It Asks for
    Service :
    Interface Name :
    Interface NameSpace :
    what do i give here.</b>
    this is what i have given
    Service : TPBS_Rohit, Sender (third party bussiness system name)
    Interface Name : MI_SOAP <again the same message interface name that i have published earlier>
    Interface NameSpace : same namespace.
    AM i right ???
    I am sure somthing is wrong since when i tried sending a SOAP request using XML SPY , this is what i get.

  • Is there a way to Host Control

    OK I am on a mission to help a company figure out first, IF they can create an App that will allow an iDevice to controll their product via USB.
    They've already done this with Android devices but those of us who own Apple products exclusively are left without the convenience of the app
    and the on-the-go adjustability.
    Their solution for the time being is to buy an inexpensive netbook for $40 that will allow yout to adjust settings just the same as with an android
    device, but that's simply not practical. As well, that simply increases the cost being as you also have to buy the program box which is another $35.
    That said, it would be much easier to be able to simply connect our iPhones, iPods or iPads to the device and change settings from there.
    This is where this inquiry comes into play. The person I am working with told me thatthey need to be able to have Host Control capabilities
    via the 30-pin and Lightning connectors of Apple iDevices in order for the App to allow the iDevice to communicate directly with the component.
    Are there any existing products that already do this with iDevices, and if so, which ones?
    Another thought I had was ustilizing the 3.5 port being as products such as Square function through that port but I don't know if iDevice input can be
    sent through that port.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

    First off you're way out of line with your line of asumption, questioning and the accusatory nature of your commentary, and you come off as pompous.
    If you read the thread title you'd realize that what I'm inquiring about is fully explained before having to read much further. If you know what Host control is, you'd know it is the ability to control and make changes/adjustments to settings of a device via an iOS device. The issue is that this company already has existing products (thousands of units on hand) that do not have Bluetooth modules, nor a way to directly interface with a Bluetooth module and thus there is a specific necessity to connect to their controller unit to the iDevice via the Lightning connector which is the problem.
    With Android, the connector is not proprietary and thus they are free to connect to Android devices without infringing on any patents. As you might well know by now, there are thousands of Lightning cables and Lightning "compatible" devices that were produced without following the proper avenues and thus are not supported by iDevices and that is what and why they have not been able to come up with a solution. And just to set you straight on one thing you're way off base in regards to Open Source. By nature, the purpose of creating something as Open Source is so that ANYONE an everyone with the proper knowledge can alter and make improvements and additions with relative ease. The big drawback ofcourse is that it's much easier to do something wrong and ruin tons of hard work that went into something derrived via open source.
    iDevices can receive input via apps from devices they are directly connected to via the lightning cable, but not visa-versa. With the 30-pin connector there were a few products that allowed for this but with Lightning there are none that any of us know of as of yet.
    The product in question is a high-end Electronic Speed Control for RC Racing and it requires being plugged into the Hotwire Unit in order to make profile settings for fine tuning of all parameters. All highly technical stuff that is easily controlled via Android and Windows OS and they are working on an OSX version but it's much more convenient to do it from a device we all carry on our person, in our pockets.
    I hope this serves as enough explanaition for you or anyone else who is inclined to feel annoyed at my repeated requests.

    Hi,
    Check whether your payload message which you are passing in HTTP Client tool is correct or not, try to copy the payload from Integration Repository while testing your mapping program.
    Also check the Integration Engine Configuration runtime parameters,
    Open Transaction SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Change Specific Configuration
    Check the values of below given parameters for runtime category, these values must be maintained:
    LOGGING, LOGGING_SYNC, LOGGING_PROPAGATION, TRACE_LEVEL and TRACE_LEVEL_PROPAGATION.
    Look into this thread ... it seems something similar with your problem.
    Payload of SOAP-Message cannot be read Try these solutions.

  • Web Service posting via SOAP.request - Security settings prevent access...

    I'm trying to call a web service via the SOAP.request object in javascript embedded into my Interactive Form.  I've successfully done this with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 trial version however now I'm having this issue on a production setup.  The PDF generates fine and I can fill out the form and everything.  I checked the properties of both PDF documents (one that works from the trial and one that doesn't from the prod box) and they are the same, expect the one that works is PDF Version 1.6, and the one that doesn't is PDF Version 1.7.
    Here's the client-side error:
    Acrobat EScript Built-in Functions Version 8.0
    Acrobat Annotations / Collaboration Built-in Functions Version 8.0
    Acrobat Annotations / Collaboration Built-in Wizard Functions Version 8.0
    Acrobat Multimedia Version 8.0
    Acrobat SOAP 8.0
    NotAllowedError: Security settings prevent access to this property or method.
    SOAP.request:31:XFA:data[0]:mainform[0]:btnRelease[0]:click
    Here's the snippet of JavaScript code:
    var response = SOAP.request();
    Here are the security properties of the malfunctioning PDF:
    Security Method: No Security
    Can be Opened By: All versions of Acrobat
    Printing: Allowed
    Document Assembly: Not Allowed
    Content Copying: Allowed
    Content Copying for Accessibility: Allowed
    Page Extraction: Not Allowed
    Commenting: Allowed
    Filling of form fields: Allowed
    Signing: Allowed
    Creation of Template Pages: Allowed
    How do I determine what the culprit is?

    Michael,
    PDF Version 1.6 means Adobe Reader 7.0.x family and PDF version 1.7 means Adobe Reader 8.0.x or 9.0.x if I am not wrong.
    Also if you check LiveCycle Designer Help (Using LiveCycle Designer ES > Working with Data Sources > About data sources > Working with data connections) it clearly says that with LiveCycle Designer 8.0 secured web services are not supported and there are additional security settings for Reader 8.0 onwards, that may be causing the issue.
