Issue using Comma as Delimiter for SelectManyChoice

Hi,
Jdeveloper version 11.1.1.6 .
I have implemented this simple usecase which is not working. Create a VO in Model and expose it through AM . Now drag and drop ViewObject as SelectManyChoice.
Run the page...
It runs perfectly fine. When you select more than one value in selectManyChoice , they are shown in the inputField with a delimiter ";" [ semicolon ]. I have a requirement to change it to comma "," .
So there is a property delimiter in ListBinding in pageDef. I tried modifying that property to #{','} and page stopped loading.
How to specify your custom delimiter in SelectManyChoice component ?

So I assume this requirement then is for cosmetic reasons?
You are correct that requirement is for cosmetic change.
As far as I know changing the delimiter is not possible ( I checked the skinning docs and no resource String is provided).
So what is the delimiter property for ? .. is it there for future enhancement or does something.
Note that he actual value is returned as an array of index or object (dependent on how you implemented this)
My implementation is simple . I just drag and drop a VO as select many choice. And tried to place comma in delimiter property of the ListBinding created in pageDef.

Issues using EPM Add- in for Excel

Hello everybody,
I have installed the EPM add-in for Excel 2010 in one of my client computers, but we're facing two different issues in this machine:
1. Everytime he opens Excel the EPM add-in is disabled so he has to activate it each time he wants to use BPC.
2. When he opens an activity from the BPF that is related to a Excel file it does nothing (this BPF works fine in other computers)
I don't know if both issues are related but any ideas of why this could be happenning and how to solve them are welcome.

Which version of excel are you using?
.net 3.5 or .net 4 version of epm add in?
maybe try the latest release, which is SP21 patch 1.

I am having an issue using OS X Mail for email via IMAP

Hi there. I am trying to use OS X Mail to set up email via IMAP for Business Catalyst email, but I am getting an error when trying to connect to the IMAP server on port 143. The Mail application connection doctor points to the incoming mail server as the problem. SMTP seems to connect just fine. I have also tried to connect via multiple ISPs and am getting the same issue. All of my setup information looks to be just fine. Any suggestions? I am using OS X 10.9.3.

I am having the same issue with Mac Mail — Version 7.3 (1878.6) running OS 10.9.4. All of the settings look correct with the correct ports, servers, and no SSL. I've not been able to find a solution elsewhere online.

As i am new to crystal reports, I need help in getting one field.
In my report i am using 2 tables:
one is like :
code_id
code_desc
1
aaa
2
bbb
3
ccc
4
ddd
and the another is :
reason_ind
1
2,3,4
2,3
1,2,3,4
3,4
In this report i have a column : Reason_desc.
Here i have to show code_desc for those values of reason_ind matches with code_id in the above table.
Ex:
reason_ind
reason_desc
1
aaa
2,3,4
bbb,ccc,ddd
2,3
bbb,ccc

Here's how you can do this at the report level:
1) Create a Main report pointing to the second table from that screenshot.
2) Drag and drop the Reason_ind column on the Details Section
3) Insert a Subreport pointing to the First table and place it on the Details Section
4) Right-click the Subreport > Select Change Subreport Links > Move the Reason_Ind field to the pane on the right > Uncheck the option 'Select data in Subreport based on field'
5) Get inside the Subreport and go to Report > Selection Formulas > Record and use this code:
ToText({Code_Id},0,"") IN Split({@Pm-Reason_Ind},",")
6) In the Subreport, create a Group on the Code_Desc field
7) Suppress the Report Header, Group Header, Details and Group Footer sections
8) Create a Formula with this code and place it on the Group Header 1 section:
whileprintingrecords;
stringvar s := s + {Code_Desc} + ", ";
9) Create one more formula and place this on the Report Footer section:
whileprintingrecords;
stringvar s;
Left(s,len(s)-2);

Keyboard issue using Danish keyboard on Remote app for iOS.

Hi there.
I have noticed a quite annoying issue with the Remote Desktop for iOS when using foreign keyboards along with the Remote Desktop app.
The PC I'm remoting to from my iPad Air is a Windows 7 machine with an English Windows.
I have a danish keyboard layout installed, and have removed the English keyboard.
But.. Here comes the strange issue.
If I connect via Remote Desktop before I log into my PC (from my PC), the special characters like :;/*^%}{ ect. works just fine on my iPad.
If I then log on to my PC from the PC, the keyboard on the PC has been changed to english, even though there's no english keybord layout installed on my PC.
The special characters like the danish æøå has been changed out with ; and other wrong characters.
I then have to press CTRL+SHIFT on my PC to change it back to the danish layout.
But... If I do so on my PC and afterwards connect via the Remote Desktop app on my iPad Air, the keyboard is messed up on my iPad.
All the special characters like /:;)(^#%{ is placed wrong and give me a wrong character.
And that happens even if I change the keyboard on my iPad to English.
I really hope you will be able to fix this in a future update enabling full support for foreign keyboards between iOS7 and Windows 7.

Why are the characters mixed up in the session?
This issue can occur if the keyboard language has been switched on the remote PC while running a remote desktop session. In the case you would like to switch to a different keyboard language
follow these instructions.
Note: The remote PC selects the system language of the device running the remote desktop client and not the keyboard language. When switching the keyboard language on your device, you need
to manually switch the keyboard language on the remote PC.
1. Open settings on your device.
2. Tap General and then tap International.
3. Tap Language and select the language running on the remote PC.
4. Open the RD Client and connect to the remote PC and check if the Windows keyboard language matches the language that you selected.

They said I need to change my settings to NAT settings. I haven't been able to figure out or find anything. I have also spoken to Apple Support on the phone for hours without being able to figure out how to do this ( i don't think he knew much either lol.) With the AlwaysOn listener you should have a single DNS name to connect to regardless of which cluster node is active. Are you using the listener service? If not, please refer to the link below.

Let me know is there any specific Hardware (Graphic Cards) we need to use for the same.

Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.

Execution Time:- 0.01094301 seconds
Returns 2 resultsets
3) SQL like (two%)

In Pagination, we are using Modified version of SQL Query 3) with ROWNUM as mentioned below :-

a) Instead of like if we use = in the above query it is returning the 2 resultsets (execution time 0.02699282 seconds)
b) Instead of two % in the above query, if use one example REFERENCE like 'KMF22600920%' it is returning the 2 resultsets (execution time 0.03313019 seconds)
Issue:- When using two % in like in the above query i.e. REFERENCE like '%KMF22600920%' AND ROWNUM <= 20 ) , it is going to infinite.
Could you please let us know what is the issue with two % used in like and rownum

This would be easier to diagnose if there was an explain plan posted for the 'good' and 'bad' queries. Generally speaking using '%' on both sides precludes the use of any indexes.

Dinesh Why do you want to issue commit statement frequently? Do you have a possible reason?

Do it in a single UPDATE. How big the table is does not matter. Do it in a single update, Oracle is fully capable of doing it.

Because they are the terms of use of the stores - terms from the US store :

1) When printing an Address Book from my Mac, the information in the "title" field prints twice. (I have checked my Preferences settings & reviewed how I have entered the information, etc. and everything is in order; also, an Address CARD DOES print correctly --- and --- after syncing to my T3 and then to my husband's PC, an Address Book prints correctly from the PC.)
2) After I have synced the Address Book from my Mac to my T3, the "zip code" entries appear BEFORE the "city" entries on the T3. (The zip codes appear correctly on my Mac and print out correctly.)
3) After I have synced the Address Book from my Mac to my T3, the "contacts" all appear in BLACK on my T3. Is there any way to show the different "contact categories" in COLOR on the T3 as they were originally entered in my Palm Desktop for Mac?

Hi mate. I'm afraid I haven't got a solution, but just wanted to say that I am having the exact same problem in my Lexus. I have an iPhone 5 which was paired and working perfectly while running iOS 6 and then iOS 6.0.1. But I was having all sorts of wifi problems (this is my second iPhone 5 as Apple replaced the first one but I've still got the same wifi issues!) so I had hoped 6.0.2 would fix these bugs. But - as you've found too - it's broken by Bluetooth connection to my car!
I too had tried the same things as you : deleting the profiles etc. but it just won't pair!
If anyone has a solution please help!!
