Issues with BP CRM 5.0

Hello All,
I am supposed to configure the SAP CRM Business Package CRM 5.0.

I just wanted to know about the configurations required in the CRM box and if some patch update or some extension plugin is to be installed. I am using EP 7.0 and CRM 5.0
I have created Systems with the required name and activated the BSP Applicaitons. Now when i open some screens like for eg.
1.Sales Documents->Leads I can see the first screen. However none of the button is working.
There is an button called Go to , New etc. whenever I click them nothing happens first of all,
secondly I get an error message access is denied in the lower toolbar of IE. seems to be a javascript error..but do not know how to resolve it.
2.Further in some applications i am getting the error as well. Like in Sales Documents->Billing Documents
I get the error:
"Error when processing your request
What has happened?
The URL http://abc.xyz.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_bsp_frame/mainDH.do was not called due to an error.
Note
The following error text was processed in the system DCM : Syntax error in program /1BEA/CL_CRMB_BD_BSP_SHOW=====CP .
The error occurred on the application server abccrmdev_DCM_00 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
3.Then in some applications like FactSheet summary iview Account Revenue (Graph)   and Customer Service   I get error "Select a business object"
what does that means??
Can you suggest something? Any help will be appreciated.

    Hello,
    This is in regards to CRM 6.0 - Web Client.  I'm wondering if anyone has heard of issues coming up if 1 user operates 2 CRM sessions / browsers at the same time?
    For example, the user is in the middle of a BP change in 1 browser and gets a phone call.   The user wants to have a second CRM session opened so that they don't have to exit the current one while they speak to the BP and maybe even edit this second BP as well. 
    I'm wondering if anyone has seen or heard of problems with these scenarios such as edits ending up on the wrong BP or information  exchanged between browsers, etc.

    For your current CRM version, multisession is not supported for the following scenarios:
    - Telephony
    - Alerts
    - Broadcasting
    As of CRM7.01, multi session is supported. For instance, in your exemple, there is a tab navigation that allows several browsers with and without a call.

  • Issue with custom fields mapping from CRM to ECC.

    I have issues with replicating custom fields in a Service order. I have created new fields with EEWB and EEWC. Now the structure has been changed in ECC and CRM. But i have to map this fields to correct structures. Also i need some logic to apply.
    But i have addressed in couple of threads about the custom function module as in user exit for FI generation.
    But i didnt understand the concept of this custom function module. why is this been used?
    Could anyone let me know with an good example on how this has to be acheived.

    Here you go,
    After you create custom characteristics.
    1. Do Assign category.
    2. Map contents.
    3. Double check your master catalog has the mapped content.
    4. Publish master catalog.
    As per your message, you are not having any error message during import, which tells me that you are one step to close.

  • Issue with special characters in SAP CRM ICSS application.

    Hi ,
    I have issue with the special character in CRM web application.
    1. In CRM IC Webclient application(5.0) . i am copying and pasting some special characters in the description of the service request document. then this is saving the character as it is.
    But when i am opening the same service request in SAP CRM  ICSS(Internet Customer Self-Service) application, then the special characters are converting to different characters.
    I am not sure whether this is the right forum for this or not.
    Can anyone please suggest how can i correct this. Or is there any standard solution to handle the special characters in ICSS.

    Something like XAE or "K" after PAY Value in the xml tag and continued the text value.  (Tag value is not getting copied exactly here - i am sorry for that )

    Expected (output):  "Here it needs to produce the "PAY TM" (Here "TM" should be super scripted to "PAY" Value in tag).

  • SCM Issues with Sales Orders Created through CRM

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to ascertain any issues with ERP processing that will not update orders created through CRM, i see there was a OSS Note some time back informing that the backorder reschedule program would not update orders created in the CRM system. Is this still the case and are there any other process that we should be marking as an issue?

    Hi Sirisha,
    The solution depends on the exact issue you are facing.
    The CRM Sales Order is created OK, but you only see the error when you open the Sales Order?
    If this is the case, then you can follow the steps below:
    1. Find the Message ID and Message No for the error message
    2. Use Program - CRM_MESSAGES_DELETE to delete error messages from the error producing Sales Orders.

  • Issues with Organizational Model in CRM

    Hi guys,
               We are implementing CRM 5.0 and I generated Organizational Model in system using Report: CRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_GENERATE. This report generated organizational model with no errors. But there is a issue with org model:
    In our R/3 system same sales office are assigned to multiple sales area and same salesgroups are assigned to multiple sales office due to this in CRM when the org model generated it only assigned the sales office and sales group to sales org 1000 however sales org 2000 and 3000 left unassigned.
    eg:
    R/3:
    Sales office assigned to
    sales area: 1000   10   10 
                           001
                           002
                           003
                     2000   10   10 
                          001
                          002
                          003
    And after generation in CRM:
    Sales org: 1000
                      sales office: 001
                                        002
                                        003
    Sales org:  2000
                       no sales office or sales org assigned.
    When I am trying to create it manually then it gives me an error: "attribute_R/3_SA_ORG with value xyx already assigned".
    Did anybody faced similar issue?
    I even ran the report for to change the org model to enhanced version but it didnt helped.
    Please give your suggestions.

    Hi Ankit,
    Its common that the sales office are only assigned to the first sales organiz unit in
    CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM. The same for the sales groups that are only assigned under the first sales office unit in CRM structure in PPOMA_CRM.
    No mather, the important thing is that under Function tab > Sales office tab, for a sales office, the system has all the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
    And the same under Function tab > Sales group tab, for a sales group, that must contain the possible combinations for R/3 sales org, R/3 sales office, R/3distribution channel and R/3 division.
    In this way, you have the structure like:
    SALESORG1001
       SALESOFFICE 1100
           SALESGROUP 100
       SALESOFFICE 1200
       SALESOFFICE 1300
    SALESORG1002
    SALESORG1003
    But inside SALESOFFICE 1100 details you have something like:
    Sales office tab:
    R3 sales org | R3 DC | R3 Div
    1001              10         01
    1002              10         01
    1003              10         01
    And under Sales Group 100 you have something like:
    Sales group tab:
    R3 sales org | R3 Sales Office | R3 DC | R3 Div

    Is anybody having issues with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and Safari 7 on Mavericks? For me, it constantly crashes and Safari shows me a message, telling me that there was a problem with the webpage, and has been reloaded. This is constant, and I can not work. Someone?

  • CRM Middleware issue with Kanji Characters

    When customers are replicated from ECC to CRM using middleware, the name for some of the customers which are stored in Kanji (Japanese characters) are flowing in as ###### instead of the actual Kanji characters. However the address fields are flowing correctly. Is anyone aware of any notes or setting regarding this issue?
    Both CRM and ECC have been unicoded and this issue is only occuring on the name and search term fields of the BP. Also if I enter or create a customer directly in CRM using Kanji characters, then I do not have an issue. This issue occurs only during replication from R/3.

    The standard fields are getting affected and the standard middleware services are responsible.
    So raise an OSS, this must help you.

  • Issue with Plugin Registration Tool in CRM 2013

    Hi,
    I've spent quite a while trying to connect up the Plugin Registration Tool for CRM 2013. I thought I'd had a breakthrough and got it connected but it's given me another problem. Let me try and explain where I'm at:
    Software is installed and I can open it up and enter in some details about the discovery service.
    With the credentials entered, I click on 'Login' and I get a pop up with 'Multiple CRM organizations are available to you. Please choose the one...' as the title and also a list of the environments to connect to - the list is as I would expect it to
    look.
    I select the environment and then click on 'Login' again.
    I get the same pop up box again, titled 'Multiple CRM organizations are available to you. Please choose the one...' but this time, there's no environments in there. Just before this new pop up appears, there's a message on screen for a very brief moment:
    "Initializing UII core connections to Microsoft Dynamics CRM...".
    At this point, there's not a lot I can do. Has anyone got any clues as to why this is happening and how I can get passed it?

    I got the blank environment box - I tried to screengrab it a few times until I got it. It says "Initializing UII core connections to Microsoft Dynamics CRM..." - I don't know if this is relevany or not?

  • BW 3.5, BEx Query designer issue with text of the characteristics

    Hi All,
    We are currently using BEx 3.5 Query Designer to design the queries. We have one of the ODS on which we are querying for.
    We have 3 different types of Customer in this ODS. 0Customer, 0BBP_CUSTOMER and 0GN_CUSTOMER. The problem is when we open this ODS in Query designer we see their text name on the left hand side column where it shows data fields as the same text name Customer.
    Now the our Power users have raised the issue that it is very confusing even when there are 3 different technical names for these characteristics.
    2 Questions I have.
    1) Why is something like this happening? is it some issue with the Patch or something. We will be migrating to new BI soon but in the mean time if I could resolve it that will be the best. Or does it even get resolved with new BI???
    2) what is the way in which we can resolve it?

    Things like this happen, when it is called customer it could be different customers, 0customer is the standard R/3 customer and 0BBP_customer is objects from CRM and most likely 0GN_Customer might be customer from different system.
    Sure, power users should be told which customer is customer and you could also change the discription of the object, to match the definition on the other system. You could also just create z object and replace the existing confusing object with something meaningful to users.

  • ERP Sales Order : Performance issues with Product Proposal

    we are working on CRM 2007 solution and are facing serious performance issues with the ERP Sales Order functionality provided in the ICWC of this version.
    In our development we are adding items in the ERP cart as soon as the user clicks on the 'New Sales Order' button of the sales order sreen. We get the items by very simple and optimized call to the ERP system and then add these entities in the Item Cart (Item collection ...in simple sense).
    For adding 10 items the application takes 10 seconds and this is too much for adding just 10 items.
    Can you please provide any Notes/alternative solution to resolve this issue.

  • Variable input values issue with Portal reports in WAD

    Hi Gurus,
    We have issue with our reports which are created in WAD and when executed through CRM portal. We are executing the report with some selection criteria by changing default values, and once we get the out put we use SAVEAS option to save the report to favourites. But  the issue arises when we open the reprot again by clicking OPEN tab next to SAVEAS button. It opens our report, but the selection screen vaues are getting changed to default instead of showing the values which we entered before saving the report.
    ex: we have fiscalyear/period: default value is 001.2009 - 010.2009, but i changed the value to 001.2010 - 010.2010 and saved the out put of the report. when i reopen the report useing open option, it is showing 001.2009 - 010.2009 in input screen.
    Please let me know if some one has come accross this issue, or is it standard SAP behaviour. It is working fine when executed through Query designer. This is not related to personlization of variabl.es.

    There are some instructions available in note 1330249 that shoul help you.
    I don't know what is the current release in the system, but there are corrections to be implemented by Tcode SNOTE and also manual steps(in table SMOFPARSFA).

  • Test runner freezing when used with Dynamics CRM (and other apps) - Both applications freeze and never come back...

    We are trying to use test runner with dynamics CRM.
    MS Dynamics CRM will freeze and will not respond (even after 10 - 15 minutes). When this happens, the test manager will either freeze or a message will apear saying "waiting for application under test".
    We are not recording action recordings...This makes using test manager impossible. It happens consistently, starting with slowing the PC down (mouse moving slowly, slow to load in new screens, drop downs etc) eventually leading to the app freezing.
    Tried on windows xp, windows 7 etc on various specs of pcs.

    I am experiencing this same issue with
    Test runner freezing when used with Dynamics CRM. I notice this was first posted in June of 2010 and so far no
    resolution? I was wondering if it could be related to memory issues? Do you have any troubleshooting ideas? The
    issue for me seems to be sporadic and I can't
    reproduce it every time.
