Items receiving to wrong sub inventory

Hi All,
When the items are received into logic, it goes to 'X' sub-inventory. When manually is received the items go to 'Y' sub-inventory.
Please suggest me.

For this we need to have a form personalization against the sub inventory.
As a work around check the check box "restrict subinventoires" in ORG items and assign particular items that cannot be transacted to that subinventory.
And also you can specify the combination of item and subinventory in "Item transaction defaults" so that these items will be receivied on this subinventory.

  • The onhand quantity at sub inventory level it is not showing correctly

    For an item the org level quantityt is showing correctly but at sub inventory level it is not showing correctly.
    1)For an item org level the avilablty as below :
                   On Hand / Avail to Reserve / Avail to Transact are
         oRG level          7     7          7
    STAGING           7     7          7
         STORES          0     0          0     
    2) Created an Sales order with quantity 5 ,then STAGING decreased by 5 which is correct.
              the avilablty as below :
                   On Hand / Avail to Reserve / Avail to Transact are
         oRG level          7     7          7
    STAGING           2     2          2
         STORES          0     0          0     
    3) Shipping Transaction not completed,Received 4 into Stores – Staging avail increased by 6 and even STORES also increased by 4 . Here we do not understand why STAGING increased to 6.

    Hi Patel,
    You can create a confirmations using CO11N for sub-operations, but you can only confirm hours, not yield quantity. The yield quantity requried to be confirmed in the operation. You can partially or fully confirm sub-operations.
    Enter the order number, sub -operation number all the related data will be displayed execpt greyed quantity fields.
    Can you see the "sub-operation" entry field below "oper./activity" in CO11N ?

  • Limiting sub inventory by form or responsibility

    I'm trying to limit the sub-inventory a user can see by either a form or responsibility.
    For example... On the INVMATWB form I've limited the organization by a responsibility by entering that responsibility and organization in the Organization Access menu selection. I'd like to limit the sub inventory that the responsibility sees as well.
    Is there any way to limit what the user sees by responsibility or by form? Can you set the sub inventory by using a parameter in the form maybe?
    Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Your requirement is not clear or could be wrong. You didn't mention the mobile page where you want this to be achieved. Also usually items in inventory will reside in multiple locators or subinventories. In that case which sub and loc you want to get defaulted ? what is the criteria that decides it ?

    Old OSX Spotlight function automatically displayed path/location within the machine:  e.g. desktop/folder/sub-folder/item.
    Can I make Spotlight show the path?

    Press option-command and the path is displayed at the bottom of the little preview window.  Press command-return and the enclosing folder opens. 

  • Min Max Planning to replenish from a single sub inventory

    I am new to this site but could certainly use some help in a problem I am having. I am on a team in the process of implement discrete manufacturing. Here is the problem I am having. I am trying to set up min/max replenishment to a specific sub inventory. We currently have a centralized fabricated (make parts) store room. From that store room we move parts to variuos supermarkets with in the factory. From the supermarkets parts are component picked or kan ban replenished. The problem that I am having is that I want the replenishment trigger back to the sheet metal fabrication area to come from the "Centralized Make" parts storeroom. It is currently adding up all the locations or sub inventories the part number resides in to include RIP. I am being told that there is no way to limit the trigger to a single sub inventory.

    Sandeep, Thanks I was able to generate and run the report and it did look only that the specified sub inventory and suggested the reorder qty properly. After running the report under the item number it says "unable to generate requisition" How does the fabrication area get a signal to begin the fabrication process, create a discrete job or create a planne order or something?     You can only create a Move Order or requisition from Min/Max at the Sub Inventory level. To create a job order it is organization level

    Currently we have 1 Item Master Org and 7 Child Orgs in our system. We are adding one more Child Org into our system. How to assign all the Items at once from Item Master to the new Child Org? We have Oracle EBS R12.

    In 11.5.10.2 our developer added new organization to items:) I think in R12 you do not have any standard function.

    I have created an Item which is inventory tracked but not shippable. Customer & Internally Ordered. But upon booking the Sales Order, the INVENTORY level of the said item does not get updated with the sale.
    How can i make it update INVENTORY without going thru shipping module?

    Yes, in process sampling only.
    Is it not neccessary to have a wip validity rule for wip products in the specs. I am able to create samples for wip products with inventory validity rule.

    When I displayed the Characteristics of Item Cate. u2013 u201CLu201D (Sub-Contracting) through "IMG - MM - Purchasing - Define External Representation of Item Cate.", I found that a checkbox - "PO Item Linked" was checked in "Invoice Receipt", meaning that invoice must be processed for PO. If I create a "Return" or "Free Goods" item using this Item Cate., is the invoice also required to process ?

    When you are doing subcontracting process you can not have "returns" indicator selecetd in PO with item category "L".
    For free goods, invoice verification is not applicable.

    I checked the default layout and found out all the column source type is "free text" and the content is #Item, how do I know the value of the UDF?

    Some of the standard reports are hardcoded in sap. Not possible to add UDF field in PLD.

    Then un-check "Use hardware acceleration when available"
    While not verified, I believe this problem is due to an SLI configuration where the focus is on monitor 1. (I.e acceleration is available, but only on monitor 1.)

    I am setting up a new 4404 with my existing WLAN. I have a combo for 1100 and 1200 APs, on two different VLANs, with WDS on each VLAN and a WLSE. One of the VLANs is on the same subnet was the WLC management port. The other WLAN VLAN is not. I am able to join the VLAN on the same subnet to my WLC but when I convert one of my auto APs on the other VLAN, it converts but never joins my WLC. If I run a debug on the WLC I get the following.

    My WLC is on code 5.0.148. All of my APs have static IP addresses. I have setup DNS but NOT DHCP since all of them have static IP and that option 42 still confuses me. Any thoughts? My 4506 is set to trunk the port the WLC is on. I even tried to only apply the two VLANs to that port. My WLC can ping the IP of the AP on the different VLAN and my AP can ping the WLC.

    You need to configure the native vlan on the trunk port to vlan 160. Looks like the packet is being tagged as vlan 60 and your management interface is set to '0' which is untagged.

    In a PO when you close all the  major nodes, you would see three major nodes,
    a) header
    b) item overview
    c) item
    Open the item and look for purchase order history tab to tell you if there are any transaction posted to it.
