ITunes movies: list of upcoming releases: where did it go?

anybody know where to find the list of upcoming movie releases? iTunes used to have a quick link for this, but nowadays I can't seem to find it.

Has itunes lost my "music video"? Where did it go?

When viewing my video's in itunes.....I clicked "get info" and then the video tab. Under the video tab...I labeled the video as (Video Kind)"music video". Now, I can not find the video in itunes to delete it if I want. In itunes under devices...it ONLY shows:

Music
Movies
TV Shows
There is no "Music Video's" tab to click to view the video I labeled as a Music Video. It no longer shows in itunes under Movies and only shows on my Ipod under Music Videos. How am I suppose to delete it through itunes if it doesn't even show??? I tried looking in view settings and stuff but I didn't see a way that I could add the "Music Videos" tab in itunes. Has anyone had this problem when labeling movies as Music Video's?

No, that is down in the playlist tabs and there is nothing in there. There SHOULD be a MUSIC VIDEO tab under/over TV SHOWS. I think I just found a big flaw in the I Tunes software!!!!!!!! What does everyone think of this problem???

I downloaded an itunes audio book and now can't find it anywhere...not in iTunes, not in iBooks...where did it go?

I had similar troubles on my iPhone 5 (iOS 7) with some audiobooks. Tried redownloading, reported problems, etc. nothing worked. Even more confusing, I could 'see' it in the On This IPhone in iTunes, but couldn't even see the audiobooks button in iTunes (on the phone).
I ended up searching for it by name, from my iPhone home screen (by swiping down, it may be called spotlight?), and where it reads 'Search this iPhone', I just started typing the name of the book, and there it was.
Not the most elegant solution, but so far all three of the books that I've bought are there.

How do I get iPhone movies into iTunes' movie menu in the sidebar?

I've tried to get iPhone movies into iTunes, but they turn into .MOV files and won't transfer!
I've tried exporting iPhone movie files from iPhoto into iTunes shared movie files (Movies folder), but
they don't appear in the iTunes movie list! They don't appear in the iPad video app either!

Allan, I tried all you suggested. I ended up with 'IMG' files in the source list, and they won't play. When double clicked they try to open for a blink, then back to the list.
When exporting the iPhone video from iPhoto, what did you fill out in the dialogue box. All I saw were selections referring to photos (jpeg, medium, etc.) I didn't see choices for video! Wouldn't it be just as easy to just drag
the video from the iPhoto thumbnails to the desktop? Am I missing something here?

ITunes9: where did the 3-column browser go ?!

Hello there:
Just installed the new iTunes 9, and I am shocked: where did the 3-column browser go? Did they really remove it, and replaced it with only the one Artists column on the left side? This cannot be serious, surely you would not remove one of the most innovative user interface of the past years?
How do I select quickly the music genres I want to listen to? (and no, Play Lists is not the answer!). I used to do a quick shift-click or command-click, depending on my mood, and click play. Very fast and very convenient.
Since when are we removing features from a software when upgrading it?...

Gabhan, I second your frustration. Locally set "on top" selections (on my laptop) are preserved, but "on top" settings for remote collections (e.g., my desktop) never are. For those of us who prefer the "on top" column browser, iTunes 9 is suddenly a LOT more "fiddly" than earlier versions.
To significantly alter existing behavior, change application-wide defaults, and not give the user the ability to override that default, sure feels like a bug. I think "this is buggy software" every single time I have to manually set that value.

ITunes Movies on External HD?

Is there a way to keep the movies you import into iTunes in a separate location to where your iTunes music folder is stored? I.e. Have your iTunes music on your Mac HDD and your iTunes movies on an external HDD?

did you ever get an answer to this question, because I am trying to do the same thing. You can do it in Windows with itunes, so that is weird you can't on a mac.

Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so if you download it again then you will be charged - I believe that they are all supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them that are requiring the one-time only download.
Is it still on the device that you downloaded it on (if it was on your iPhone then it should be in the Music app), or do you have a copy on your computer and/or on a backup ? ITunes Movies Moved to Trash, Get Back Artwork

MacBook Pro, Yosemite - Moved movies purchased in iTunes to trash in order to open space in my computer. The data disappears and the artwork disappears, however, I can of course get the movie (with artwork) back from the Purchased function in iTunes Store, and down load it. However, I want to keep ALL the artwork on my list in my iTunes account so I can remember what I own FROM MY ITUNES MOVIE LIST. In short, I do not want to go back to iTunes Store to remember what I own. I want to browse my owned movies from my iTunes account. If I find something I like, then I can down load from my iTune account, not the iTunes store. Can you help show me how to keep the artwork for trashed emails so I do not have to go back to the iTune store.

Don't empty the trash securely. That's pointless. It's only for files with sensitive data in them.

Downloaded the newest itunes, now I can no longer see the "cheap" movies listed on the links to the right hand side. Where did they go, and how do I now get to them? I tried search and that didn't work.

Are they gone completely from the computer, or just no longer in the library? Check your movie media folder.
If your'e in the USA you can download some movies a second time, but not all (studio dependent). You should always back up all media.

Last night I used Apple TV to rent a Movie (through the "Movies" icon at the top menu). I paid $3.99 to rent it and even verified the CSC code on my credit card. Where did the movie download to? I cannot find it anywhere.
I even tried to rent it again, but it told me I had already rented it.

I looked into my iTunes playlist, I looked into the 'recent purchased' section, and it's nowhere to be found. My last option was to start searching the music, podcast, and other tabs to see if it went anywhere else. But of course, it wouldn't show up there. I checked my bank account and my itunes purchase is showing up at the top of the charged list, so that let's me know that the download and charge kicked through. I tell you, I even went back to iTunes to the movie page, and the rental button doesn't show up. It just says 'preview'.
Please help me out. I searched everywhere possible, and I can't find where the movie went to(??) How do we get to the root of the problem? I'm not asking for a refund, since I know the new terms explain it very well that it just won't happen. All I want is to see the movie that I PAID for and it's NOT there.

* Doesn't it seem strange (maybe I'm not finding this option as it's hidden some place?) that there aren't boxes allowing you to select what action you clearly want to take?

Because once syncing is done it's done there's no "I didn't want it to do that" button to press to go back!
Solution for persons such as myself; picture a white plain screen opening up in the catagory you choose (I'll use music) uncluttered no links taking you inadvetaintly to a screen pitching me something from Apple just all my music catagorized by iTunes the way in which I selected it to be by checking as many of the choices as I want that are list in the "sort" menu. Now before I hit sync at the top there are 3 empty boxes. Positioned clearly and designed by the marketing department who has every page in the store laid out clear clean and in your face making it impossible to START HERE so to speak, they'd unmistakably be simply labeled with 3 basic choices for you to choose from (a fourth "advanced" could be optional) which would be; Box#1 Do Noithing (Leave as is) Box#2 Sync from Device to iTunes Box#3 Sync from iTunes to Device . What you checked is what action iTunes would take. When you pressed "sync" a box would pop up Asking are you sure you want to it would have the selected boxes action here further assuring you wre doing as you wanted .
With these on all the things/catagories that iTunes writes over and erases replacing it with what in my experiance usually is incomplete folders or databases of apps, music, movies, podcasts, books etc.? the misinterpretation of the action you want or choose would almost be eliminated from incorrect interpretation of what you actually want to do.
Please if there's something I can set for all my choices please tell me where and how.
Addionally without doing it one song at a time does iTunes seperate song artist from title automatically some how or do I have to go song by song cut artist and paste in the correct colum?

I retned a movie from Itunes using my I phone; however, I can't see the movie listed under videos, nor does it appear in my I tunes library on my laptop. on my itunes store app, there is a "1" inside the red dot that is blinking.

ah, ok yes i did do that last night. I just did it again and relized that ther is a "Downloads" tab. I selected it and stated that there was a download error. I'm currently retrying it now. and it is now showing in my videos.

But now I can't find the actual movie...I go to iTunes to purchases and view movies , to downloads and searched the title of the movie...I can see an icon of it and it is in a separate place from other purchases but it says downloaded in faded lettering. Where is it?
