Plus iTune won't recognize my Apple ID (I don't want a new one, since it has the payment info and all). Anyone can help?

  • ITunes won't recognize my new router

    http://www.linksysbycisco.com/EU/en/products/WRT54GL
I recently set up this router at my house and so far it's been working great with the only issue being me having to push the router reset button everytime I turn on my computer after having stopped using the router for awhile.
Problem is that even if I am connected to the internet, itunes doesn't recognize my new connection and because of this it won't connect to the store/internet. I have found no setting to choose an internet.

Thanks for the help, and I agree I don't like having to push the rest button but I didn't really know where to go for help
Here's the test results...I took out my IP address because I can't help but feel that's not something I should pos ton the internet. Something I noticed before but forgot about was that if I click on the itunes store it actually loads the store...even though itunes says it can't connect.

  • Movie in iTunes won't transfer to new iPad

I downloaded a couple of new movies in Itunes on my computer and then I tried to transfer to my new ipad and it won't transfer, it attempts to transfer to IPAD, however it doesn't some error message pops up, I didn't write it down I was wondering if anybody else has been getting this and what to do about it. By the way I have enough memory for the movie and I know that I could just have transferred it on the device itself.

Have you had a chance to look at these troubleshooting documents? They may be of some help:

  • Tried restoring iPad to prepare it to sell, encountered error now iTunes won't recognize.  The iPad just shows the connect to iTunes even after restarting.

I tried restoring iPad1 to prepare it to sell, encountered error during the restore.  iTunes dispalyed a message that there had been an error.  My iPad1 is just showing the image to connect to iTunes, even after i try restarting the iPad1.  I've also restarted my PC and iTunes will not recognize the iPad1.
iTunes is and will recognize my new iPad3 just fine.
How do I get my iPad1 to come back to life?
    Thanks!

No luck.  The article says to press and hold the home button, then plug in the usb cable.  When i do that, I still just have the connect to itunes image on the iPad, and iTunes is not recognizing the iPad.

Did you ever try plugging the old iPhone into iTunes while it had this new number?  If so, that may well be the source of the issue.  I suggest you never do that.
If you're sure you have a good backup from the old iPhone, you might try erasing the new one and starting its setup over.  If you're willing to do that, you would do Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings and that would start the iPhone setup process.  Assuming it works, you could then restore it from the backup of your previous iPhone.

  • ITunes won't recognize iPod nor iPad since upgrade to 10.6.4

After upgrading to 10.6.4, iTunes no longer recognizes any of my devices. iPhoto does, so the issue has to be within iTunes. I'm current, with 10.0.1.
    Any advice?

Same here: junk Apple upgrade has stopped me accessing many apps. It appears to have stalled out.
Is this the Steve Jobs legacy?
"The iPod ------- could not be synced because the sync session failed to start."
What sort of error message is that?
It has just been through a complete restore and given the same message!
It has also lost a load of Apps that I have paid for and cannot use, nevermind material bought from the Apple Store.
What sort of rip off artists are these Apple dead beats?
Do I have to pay twice when they upgrade my Ipod?

  • ITunes won't recognize my new Nano (already have ipod 5.0)

    Hello-
I installed the software for my new nano. When I attach the nano, iTunes says that something is wrong with the software and that I need to re-install iTunes.
My 5.0 ipod still connects fine. My main question is: what is the trick to having iTunes recognize 2 different ipods?
Also, will reinstalling iTunes affect my playlists, library, podcast settings, etc?
    Thanks for any help

  • ITunes won't recognize my new Apple TV

I just got a new Apple TV and set it up with Home Sharing. However I don't see it in iTunes amongst my other devices.
    Does Home Sharing prevent that?

No, unlike other devices or the previous Apple TV, the new Apple TV does not show up in iTunes. This is because you cannot sync anything to it. It is merely a portal to the services on the main screen, your iTunes library, your iPhone, your iPod Touch, and/or your iPad.

  • Itunes won't recognize device, nor ipad 2 or ipod. Itunes 64 bit on win 7 64 bit.

  • Itunes won't recognize my new ipod

I gave my cousin a new 3rd gen nano. Itunes is fine but the device simply shows an ipod and brings up the agreement. the choice is 'save' or 'cancel.' cancel does nothing and save sends me to a save as a doc. i've updated both itunes and ipod software and reset everything yet nothing seems to work.
    help!

Your screen resolution may be preventing you from seeing the entire agreement screen to pick the button to agree.
So change your screen resolution to something like 1024 or larger and then see if you can see all the buttons in the agreement. Agree to it, then you can resize your screen resolution back to what it was before.
