OK, I understand. We support Arabic with the Java 2 platform starting with release 1.2. If your applet is running on a browser that does not have a JavaTM 2
Virtual Machine1 (JVM) then you will not be able to do Arabic. A second point is that we support Arabic using the Swing GUI toolkit. We do not support it in the AWT toolkit. So you will be experiencing problems if you are trying to use AWT. If you are having problems with a Swing applet under Java 2, let me know and we can try to look at your problem some more.
The reason we need compilers is that computers neither speak nor understand English, French, Arabic or any other language familiar to the carbon-based life forms known as"human beings". Instead computers understand languages that look like this:

This is called machine code. To make matters worse, just like different people use different languages, so too do different computers use different machine languages. Therefore the same program may be expressed in completely different ways on different kinds of computers.

There won't be any new features introduced in CS6, only some bug fixes if ever. All new features go into CC. Rumour has it that Camera RAW will be added into PrPro (sooner or later).
Off topic question: have you tried to convert BMPCC CinemaDNG files into DNG via Adobe DNG Converter? Resulting files are about 15% larger, so I hope that is what constitutes uncompressing them and making possible to import into PrPro CC natively (I'm not on CC, hence can't test, but I'm curious).

Also, try a game called Supremacy1914 and run that game. Its an outside browser game (Essintially) that runs via Java. It should give you a security option to allow the certificate to play the game. Some games require certificates and depending on your user account, it could be blocked.
Java panel is now stored in the System Preferences > Other

iPads do not directly support Flash.
You can look for Flash Browsers in the App store for some options to try. Support is not 100%, but maybe one may work for you. Browsers like Puffin, Skyfire, Photon etc...
IPads do fully support JavaScript. Just make sure its turned on under Settings->Safari->Advanced->JavaScript.
If you require Java, which is completely different to JavaScript, again there are some browsers in the App store that support it. Search for "Java browsers" in the store.

How do I show visitors w/o Java "You need java script enabled to view this site" ?

I use Firefox as my browser and through the use of NoScript generally do not have Java Scripting active. Although I can often tell just by the behavior of a page I visit that I need to enable some Javascripts, I often get a clear message from the website itself - something like "we see that you do not have Java script enabled, please do so" or perhaps "without Javascript you cannot view this site properly."
Now, I can just put a general message on the "splash page" saying "this website requires Java script to be enabled" for every visitor to see, but I would rather have the message just for those that need to see it because Java script is disabled. How do I do that?

BUT - I have discovered the following: dropping the "noscript text on the page to create an HTML object works and the "your browser. . ." text appears when Javascript is turned off, and just where I want it !
Now I just have to teach myself enough coding that I can set the text size and color and I'll drop this baby on every page. Whoopee!

JAVA ME enabled phones in UK

Could anyone tell me if i can purchase a Mobile Phone within the UK that is Java ME enabled. How much would it cost?

Nokia 9210 has a beta version of MIDP which you can get att Forum Nokia. The 7650 is definitely not available yet. I tried a prototype version two weeks ago in London. There is a Series 60 emulator with MIDP available though.

Packages that java normally already imports

I am trying to get back into programming, and I remember awhile ago being told that java automatically imports certain packages, like java.lang, and maybe a couple more. I tried to test that out by using methods withing java.lang, or java.util, or java.io without importing those packages.
So I tried to test out java.util. I created an Arrays class without explicitly importing java.util. But my programming didn't recognize the class. I think it is possible that because of my directory structure the imports isn't working. But I'm not exactly sure how to make java see the packages in it's correct directory. Anybody can help? A more extensive question...what kind of environment does everybody use to code (windows environments please, that's what I'm using, I haven't set up a Linux box yet).

Hi All
Not something that I use, but a family member has pointed out to me that some areas of Yahoo do not work anymore, one area being the online games, all we get are please enable Java error messages, Jave is enabled in all browsers tried to no avail.
When I questioned the family they said that it had been like it a long time, so I have no ideas what is causing this.
Any ideas anyone...

OK, do not know how this happened, but here is an update.....
I installed the update as suggested and did the Repair Permissions, first off still the same.
Safari and Opera now work OK...
Mozilla, Explorer, Camino and Firefox still do not....

I'm assuming you're machine is OS X (please include this in the future, avoids assumptions). Are you using anti-virus software, if so, if you stop/exit the anti-virus software, does the installation proceed?
If not, or if the installation still does not proceed after stopping the anti-virus software, please try the offline installer, posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Macpage, in the 'Still having problems' section.

Downloading CS6 English-Arabic Enabled

I currenly own a licence for CS6 Design Premium English (International), During current transition in my business I am needed to use ME version of InDesign, Illustrator, InCopy and Photoshop. To make sure everything goes fine I am trying to download Trial version of these softwares.
Photoshop International version can be converted to ME by changing Text Engine in Preferences. Sweet, Saving a few bucks!
InDesign ME can be downloaded from http://adobe.com/downloads/
by changing language from English to "English-Arabic Enabled" you get the InDesign CS6 ME, No problem.
Following the same instruction for Illustrator gives you International version! Even if you select Arabic Enabled download you still get the International version.

which is Arabic Section of Adobe Website. Kinda Odd.
and there's no way to find InCopy CS6 Arabic Enabled, by select English-Arabic Enabled version in Adobe downloads you get the International version, No Arabic Support, and links in Arabic section of Adobe website (http://www.adobe.com/mena_ar/downloads.html) gives you a 404 error! Embarrassing!
The whole adventure of downloading each piece of these softwares from different sources sounds odd to me, I really need to make sure I am downloading the right software before going to licence these, and Where is InCopy CS6 ME?
