Java Bluetooth Stack
Hi:
I am doing a J2ME application and it consist of comunicate a mobile with a server by bluetooth. I have the code for find bluetooth devices and their services but i have read that firs of all you have to initialize the stack, and it depends of some vendors (I have find one example of Atinav ). Please, some body can help me?
Thanks
Hi,
Stack initialization is not necessary for every Java Bluetooth implementation. Some stack vendors require it, and others don't.

Satellite P750: Unable to install Bluetooth Stack driver on Windows 7 (x64)
Hello.
I own a *Satellite P750-02T* (Part no. *PSAY3A-02T001*).
In the order what I did:
1) I formatted its HDD and reinstalled OS to *Windows 7 x64 Ultimate SP1*.
Then I downloaded *ONLY BIOS and the drivers* from [its Downloads page|http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25] :
2) I updated its BIOS to *v1.90* (the laptop came with v1.80)
3) I installed all the drivers:
- both LAN and WiFi
- Intel Chipset (latest available)
- all video drivers (Intel HD Graphics, NVIDIA Graphics, and Intel HDMI)
- Card Reader
- Realtek HD Audio (latest)
- Synaptics Touchpad
- USB3.0
- IR
- TV-Tuner
However, I'm *unable to install the Bluetooth driver (v8.00.06(T)* )...
When I run setup from the [above-mentioned page|http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25] it partially detects *'Bluetooth USB Controller-10 from TOSHIBA'* (USB\VID_0930&PID_0215&REV_001)
and then installation simply freezes displaying +'Installing the Bluetooth Driver. Please wait+.' and stays like that forever...
I also tried downloading a driver from [another location|http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download-toshiba] for TOSHIBA notebooks - v8.00.02(T):
and followed installation instructions displayed under 'Details'
but there was the same outcome - the setup simply freezes...
Installing Hotfix (*KB978258*) recommended there didn't work either - the message '+The update is not applicable to your computer+' pops up.
And I understand why - this Hotfix is [already included|http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/B/A/EBA55FE2-373A-4351-9346-6D762B79AA69/Updates%20in%20Win7%20and%20WS08R2%20SP1.xls] into Service Pack 1 for MS Windows 7.
I spent hours searching on the Internet for a solution. Although there were some similar cases none of the recommendations actually worked. I tried installing:
- WiFi driver before installing Bluetooth (someone suggested that those two are the parts of the same card);
- resuming installation in Safe Mode;
- *Toshiba Value Added Package* hoping those tools somehow will kick in.
Nothing worked...
It's interesting that when for the sake of experiment I tried to run installation for my generic Bluetooth adapter (using the driver [for non-TOSHIBA notebooks|http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download]) then everything run smoothly!
*Using Bluetooth connection on this laptop is very crucial for me.*
I hope I shall not have to return this wonderful notebook as I know TOSHIBA is one of the best manufactures and am sure there is a solution to this problem.
Thank you very much.
Evgeny.

clarified about using another generic Bluetooth adapter with non-TOSHIBA driverFor FN functionality you must install Toshba Value added package. Toshiba flash cards utility is part of this package.

Portege M200: How to rectify Bluetooth Stack upgrade failure
I was upgrading the Bluetooth stack of my portege M200 with the drivers posted on Toshiba's website. during the end my laptop hung up. Had no option but to resatart the same.
Eversince all bluetooth functionality is showing errors, whenever I am trying to reinstall or unisntall the incomplete installation, I get a message that 'look for Bluetooth Stack for Windows from Toshiba.msi' as there is no installtion record of the same.
Now-neither can I uninstall the half installation of the upgrade niether can I re-install the upgrade.
I am in a fix and need help???.
Is there a way to rectify this problemStill dosent help, when I tried installing the old driver, I guess it looked at the current installation of the new driver and it needed to uninstall that first. I still got the same message 'The feature that you are trying to use is available on another network' and is looking for the file at the following address 'U:\nbtools\__XPT_Tools-CDs\PMR400288EU0 EN FR GR IT Firebolt10 SPM20 XPT CD1\Bluetooth Stack\UK\'.
I am sure that there must be a method to nullify this installation from the registry and install and over-write the new installation completely.
I have never worked on the registry before. I try to recover the system
Thanks for helping

What are the pros and cons of installing java+abap stack for portal?
Hi all,
1.What are the pros and cons of installing java+abap stack for portal?
2.what effect it does on the ume options to be choosen??
3.for the purpose of integration of r3,bw and crm on portal and crm 4.0 60.2.3 business package which option of stack(java or abap or both)will be good option and which ume option while installation should be choosen?
regards
RajendraHi Rajendra,
The NetWeaver Installation Master Guide offers some good scenarios on the pros and cons:
https://websmp201.sapag.de/~sapidb/011000358700005412792005E.pdf
In a nutshell:
ABAP+JAVA
Pros
- Decrease # of servers required to administer the portal
- Less costly
Cons
- Upgrades could be dependent on ABAP and Java release level
- Additional load on the server due to ABAP stack
- Limited scalability
JAVA and ABAP on separate server
Pros
- Improved performance
- Allows each system to be single-use purpose therefore downtime does not affect other components
- More scalable
Cons
- Adds complexity to landscape
- Additional costs

How to find Traces in SAP PI 7.3 java only stack
Hello Experts,
How to find the trace logs and pipeline steps in sap pi 7.31 java only stack, which we will get in below areas,
1. In sap pi dual stack , SXMB_MONI (abap stack) in window 1
2. In sap pi dual stack , monitoring--->integration engine--->message monitoring----> xml messages(data base)
I already found some blog related to the logging but i doesn't help to find the traces which we get in SXMB_MONI (window 1, trace)
http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2013/09/18/tracing-in-sap-pi-731-single-stack
Your suggestions are highly appreciated.
Thanks & Regards,
VenkatHi,
In Single stack we go for ICO instead of classical configurations(Pipe line steps(SA,RA,RD,ID)).
Link you are referring is to find the display of traces that you put in your UDF or Java mapping or XSLT mapping .
If you want to see the traces/payloads of end to end flow ,then you can see the same either in your communication channel monitoring/receiver channel or via message monitoring/adapter engine-->message log
If you want to see payloads in the below steps .you can also do so by following the below link.

Problem removing bluetooth stack / hidden devices / COM ports not released
Hi
Having problem completely removing Toshiba Bluetooth stack / hidden devices / com ports not released
I uninstalled Toshiba BT s/w...
But:
1) Toshiba BT hidden devices still appear and I can not remove (get error)
2) COM ports occupied by Toshiba BT not released (so they cannot be used by another BT stack) and still appear in registry
ex: friendly name Toshiba BT Port (COM4) still in registry
3) These unreleased com ports do NOT appear in device manager
ThanksIt seems that you still have some configurations which were not removed during the uninstallation.
This means that the resources can not be release, because those are still necessary in case of a
new installation of the stack.
The first I would try is the following:
- Install the latest Toshiba Bluetooth stack.
- Uninstall it. Ensure that you answer all questions with "yes" ! This means also the one which asks if all configurations should be removed.
- Reboot
- Check again -

My problem is that no bluetooth stacks are detected by PC Suite.
With bluesoleil I can make connection with my Phone 2720 Fold. And all works fine
But PC Suite does not see the bluetooth connection
How should solve this?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Adam
Message Edited by AdamX01 on 06-Nov-2009 02:20 PMI never got any Bluesoleil stack to ever work with any version of PC Suite. However, as of Windows XP SP2, the Microsoft Bluetooth protocol stack appears to detect "several" Bluesoleil Bluetooth compatible dongles and will use them. However, these will have limited functionality as Microsoft limits their Bluetooth support.

Microsoft Wireless Presenter 8000 mouse and Toshiba Bluetooth Stack
Some of the specific functionalities of this MS Bluetooth Mouse do not work with the latest Toshiba Bluetooth Stack : magnifier, digital ink...
The other functions of this mouse (and the remote controller functions too) work perfectly. The magnifier, digital ink, etc..., are working only if the MS USB controller provided with this bluetooth mouse is plugged in.
Many hardware sites and forums are talking about this problem, ie at the end of this page : http://www.hardware-pacers.com/pages.php?catType=r&pid=352&id=968&pageX=on
Is there a chance to have these functions (magnifier, digital ink...) working with a future release of the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack ? Any idea of a delay ? Or any idea of a tip to have this working today ?Of course : I have installed the latest version of IntelliPoint software. A mouse/remote as sophisticated as the Wireless Presenter 8000 can't work without its software.
But one more time, I speak about a Bluetooth MS Mouse, and what I don't understand is that a few funtionnalities (magnifier, digital ink) only works with the MS USB plug delivered with the mouse.
What I'd like is to use ALL the functionnalities of my bluetooth mouse with only the bluetooth adapter integrated into my Toshiba Libretto U100. -

Question about Toshiba Bluetooth stack V.4
Hi
We have a Fujitsu Siemens P7120 Laptop which requires the Toshiba Bluetooth stack located at http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/pages/download.php
When we install this in silent mode, the installation takes place however the Bluetooth does not initialise until the Toshiba Bluetooth information exchanger is launched!
Is there anyway to make the whole installation complete without this other step? You should use the BT-stack of FSC. I also tried to install an OEM version of the Toshiba BT-stack, but in this case it was time limited. So check the "About" menu item to get get more details.

How to use Satellite P100 with MS Vista and MS Bluetooth stack?
I'm using my Sat P100 for more than one year. I just reinstalled Windows Vista Ultimate from scratch, and because I'm really not so much satisfied with Toshiba's Bluetooth stack, I'm trying to use original Microsoft's Bluetooth stack, which comes with Vistas.
After reinstall, Windows found BT device and installed MS BT stack. Everything worked well, but ufetr downloading and installing tons of updates including SP1, BT device completely disappeared. I found some articles about how to switch from Toshiba to Microsoft BT Stack, but it seems to be a XP sollutions, and mainly it always need to install "Bluetooth Monitor for MS Stack", but I cannout find this download for MS VIsta.
Can anyone help? Thanx!I've got it!!!
I have fond one sollution: maybe not excellent, but working!
1. Check if you have latest Toshiba Bluetooth stack installed (here: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download)
1.1 If you have older version, uninstall it, reboot, install latest one, reboot.
1.2 If you don't have any version installed, install the latest one.
2. Assuming you installed to default location, copy this folder to any backup location, including complete directory structure: c:\Program Files\Toshiba\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\
3. Go to Start/Control panel/Programs and Features and uninstall whole Toshiba Bluetooth stack, reboot
4. After rebooting, there is again "Bluetooth devices" applet in Control panels (it was previously disabled by Toshiba's Bluetooth Stack), but you cannot see any HW Bluetooth device
5. Go to backup location (into ..\Bluetooth Toshiba Stack\) and run AS.exe.
6. It will start installing BT devices, BT icon will appear in Tray.
7. Installer will hang on cca 5th box, but never mind, all drivers are already installed.
8. Maybe you can cancel installer, but I feared that it will roll-back installed drivers, so I simply killed this Install process (Ctrl+Alt+Del, Start Task manager, Select BT installer in Apps and Kill it)
9. Whow, it works now event after restarting.
10. Your feedback welcome! ;)
