Java console not showing - openJDK. Pls Hlp!
Hi!
I use Fedora 10 with openJDK. There is a project that I urgently need to fire up, but I need the console for that. In windows (yes, I escaped! ;) ... ) there was a cup-of-steaming-coffee at the bottom of the screen., I suspect this to be different in Linux.
If I have this code:

}Where would I get to see the output?

Where would I get to see the output?You can redirect stdout to a file.

Last night my ipod touch(with iOS 5 beta 4) tried to reboot itself and is just not starting. it does not allow me to do anything and does not start till it's battery is exhausted. iTunes is not recognizing it. pls hlp............!!!!!!!!!!

Bpel console not showing domain name

i have installed a new jdev 10.1.3.1 and also have 10.1.2. first version is working fine examples but bpel console is not showing domain name in 10.1.2.
pls anyone can tell me what may be the problem.Is it bcoz of two version in same machine.?? Its urgent help out............this is understandable - at per default we use oracle lite - which only allows ONE installation on a windows system ..
to run both in paralell you have to install a db and create the 2 schemas (10.1.2.0.2 and 10.1.3.1) - I posted a blog note on this ..

java applets will not load,
i have run the java test page & i have the latest version installed.
have removed all old versions of java from my hard drive & restarted the computer.
i have checked that java is enabled in the plug-ins and it is with version se 6 u22, also something called java development toolkit 6.0.220.4 np runtime script plug-in library for java (tm) deploy.

You might want to look in your control panel for 'Java' icon. It should give you an option to enable java plugin into your browser. Let me know if you still face the issue.

Java 6 U22 is installed. That is however and older version.

Oracle Rules: Adding Java Facts - not showing up in list.
I am having trouble with adding my own Java classes to the Java Facts. I find the class in the list of classes, tick it, and hit "Ok". When I come back to the list of Java Facts, the class has not been added to the list. And no error message is displayed.
I am able to add default classes under packages java, javax and org.
My Java-classes are located here: ...\MyProject\SCA-INF\classes\packageName
The .rules-file is located here: ...\MyProject\oracle\rules\packageName
What can be the reason for this?I just had a similar issue and I ended having to manually clean up the registry to get Java working again.
I just got a new computer at work and it had Java 7 installed but it turns out an app we need to use at work doesn't work with Java 7, only Java 6.
I uninstalled Java 7 and installed Java 6 but Firefox was not showing the Java plugin as installed. I tried all sorts of things, including uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and none of it worked. Finally I again uninstalled Java and then I searched for "Java" in the registry and found TONS of entries still in there for Java, including for Java 7. I manually deleted all the entries (WARNING: this is extremely risky) rebooted, then installed Java 6 and now it's working fine.
I really hate it when uninstallers leave stuff behind. It just makes a mess. -

I installed a fresh copy of Mozilla Firefox and a the latest 64 and 32-bit versions of the latest Java then restarted my PC. When I run Java programs on my browser it says that I have a missing plugin...
It used to work before with the same version of Firefox but with the older Java.installed it. no luck.

XP OS, have NoScript installed, disabled, Java console still will not load from FFx.
I followed your instructions and installed Developer Suite 10G on Windows Vista Home Premium edition. I have Oracle 11G DB running on the same machine.
Two points, Steve:
1. When I tried to set the maximum virtual memory to 6110 an error message displayed from Windows and told me that I can't set the maximum virtual memory to more than 4096. I set it to 4090 and it worked and I got nothing wrong during the installation process.
2. After installing JInitiator and disabling Java on Firefox I called the http://127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet page and everything seemed to be OK because the Oracle Forms Services logo appeared and then a successful installation message appeared , but as I clicked (ok) to continue a gray screen appeared inside the browser (like the one displayed when you try to run a Java applet inside a browser) and then I wait to death till something appears but sadly nothing. I just get a blank gray screen inside my Firefox browser.
Do you have any idea what to do to solve the problem?

CAS console not showing up in Workbench
I installed Endeca commerce 3.1.2 components - mdex, platform services, tools and frameworks and cas on my windows machine. I did select CAS Console Workbench extension option during CAS installation. I then deployed Discover app using CAS and the app seems to be working just fine. But the CAS console is not showing up in workbench. It (CAS) works fine from command prompt. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the components but still the same result. Any idea what I could be missing or doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
If you have also installed the current iTunes version, download the current install and re-install it over the existing - no need to remove iTunes first.

Java console not compatible with 6.01 Mozilla update
Since the 6.01 Firefox update, I can no longer view flash panels and some images are not appearing on web sites. I look and found all the java consoles greyed out with the message they were incompatible with 6.01 Firefox. So what do I do now? I also notice that websites suddenly disappear when I did not close them. Please fix this problem.

I can confirm cor-el's information that it is "normal" for the Java Console extension to be disabled in FF6 (see my post [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/870013#answer-247544 here] for instructions on how to test your Java installation).
When you say "flash panels", do you mean that '''Adobe Flash''' doesn't seem to be working on some web sites with FF6?
If that's the case, then try the following:
First, check your Flash installation [http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ here] on the Adobe web site. If your Flash isn't working or you don't have the latest Flash v. 10.3.183.7, do the following:

Comments in DNS/DHCP Java console not editable after SP2
Upgraded to OES11 SP2 (on SLES11 SP3) and now when using the DNS/DHCP Java console (Win 64) we get the following error when attempting to edit or create a comment for a host: "This functionality is not supported in this version of OES DHCP Server"
Is it correct that we can not use the comments field any more? no note of that as a change in the docs...

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, but have to add: I think it's not just the comment field. Applying any changes after creating a record throws this error. -

Hello I am a basic Dremweaver user. I am trying to add a picture to my webpage but online when I check the images space flashes but does not show the image. It is correctly loaded on the server and local and linked cprrectly SRC. Can anybody help please?

Bocz2001I use the design layout and just drage the scr to the folder of the image. Then I check the remote folder to make sure the image is uploaded to the server. I know the images id there because when the other images are loading online, if I scroll to the end I will see the box clearly and without image. But when the previous images are loaded and it comes down to the new image (empty box) that box then dissapears and no image is leaded.
