(?) Java Management Extensions(JMX) Change

program works with previous versions of java,
with the java update 13, what could possibly be the compatibility issues that
i could look into and consider?
does JMX always works internally with any java application?

im not really sure if the program uses jmx application.
i could not find the
javax.management in the imports of the sourcefiles though.
so i was wondering if jmx works internally in java or that one has yet to implement it and use the interfaces?
because if yes, then i think i dont have a compatibility problem with
6u13, but if it does, i dont know what aspects or what part of the application should i look into for possible compatibility issues.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Starting/stoping java app using JMX ?

Hello, do any one know, whether we can start / stop java application using JMX ? I know it is monitoring api and can help to find whether app is up or down

I see the same error when I start domain1. However, I was able to deploy and configure Access Manager 7.1 using the WAR file method, as described in Sun Java System Access Manager 7.1 Postinstallation Guide, page 153. The Guide's instructions are for Sun Java System Application Server Enterprise Edition 8.2, but they seem to work okay with version 9.1. After deploying the WAR file, the Configurator comes up automatically the first time you browse to its URL, typically http://localhost:8080/amserver.

I have been getting this (or earlier version) messages every time Firefox updates for at least a year "The Java Console extension is no longer supported and will be automatically removed the next time you restart Firefox. " What should I do?

For a long time, each time Firefox updates, it invites me to install theJava Console Update. then I get a message that Java Console not supported.

You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension, you do not need them to run Java applets.

Email notification to Manager on routine change request

I am trying to set up a multi review activity template for routine change request. The first Review Activity should notify the creator of the Change Requests Manager so the Manager can review. In the Review Activity, there is a check box for "Line Manager
Should Review". If I just check this box, will the Manager listed in AD for that user get an email or do I need to create an email subscription?
If I need the to create an email subscription, the question would now be what do I select for "Related Recipients" keeping in mind this is a Review Activity? Since we don't know who the Manager will be as it depends on the user creating the CR,
I certainly can't hard code a recipient so I need to user Related Recipients. When I get to this part, I have a laundry list of selections that basically do not make sense to me. Any help here would be appreciated.

There's really three separate problems here, so i'll address them indivigually:
First, you want to automatically add a line manager to a change request. This is the intention of the Line Manager checkbox. when the activity status workflow runs, and that box is checked, it looks at the parent work item, then looks at the created by users
of that parent work item, and adds that user to the list of reviewers for the activity. The implied permissions (http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2014/03/19/improving-ad-connector-performance.aspx,
this seems to be the only documentation of it) will allow that user to approve.
Second, there are no notifications by default, but a common requirement is a notification for all reviewers when their input is required. i have used
This method to generate these notifications. fortunately, the method Travis details is compatible with the line manager checkbox.
Finally, Approvals by emails is a function of
the Exchange Connector. You can set up keywords to allow people to reply to notifications with directives like [Approved] or [Resolved], and the connector will apply those directives to related connectors. You have to modify the exchange connector to include
the id in brackets (i.e. "[RA1234]") so it gets related correctly, but using the notification method from above, this should be easy (and
here is a hint).

Can't get acces to manage extensions/ plugins under the Help tab.

I'm working on a Windows OS 8.0 desk top computer. Under the Help tab I can't get acces to the line 'manage extensions', it's the one just below the legal notifications. I'm dutch so I don't really know if this is the right translation. I'm using PS CC.

Ok, so I had the same problem. What you should do is, call the
Apple Technical Support number: (44) 0844 209 0611
And ask for the Account Security Team. This worked for me.

I was able to load the plug-in without any error messages, but no alerts are raised
when I send a trap.
- Could someone please tell me what port the snmp receivelet listens on?
- I tried ports: 3002, 1830, 3872 and 8002.
- Port 3002 was obtained from emd.properties
- Port 1830 was obtained from the OEM console
- What condition is necessary for agent to receive SNMP traps?

I am facing the same issue with the native extension i am using follwing code to get the resource id

i am getting this exception "android.content.res.Resources$NotFoundException:layout.secondactivity"
I have included activity in the native manifest file as well as flex's manifest file for android.

SPS 18 Installation fails while asking for Java Crypthography Extension

Hi @ all,
some weeks ago we deployed the file "tc_sec_java_crypto_signed_fs_lib.sda by the SDM. But we didn´t enabled strong encryption in the portal.
Now, i want to update my portalstack from SPS 14 to SPS 18 and while i update J2EE Sapinstaller asks for Java Crypthography Extension-Source-Code. But i don´t want to install it, because automatically the database is set to strong encryption and i can´t use / administrate in anymore.
I still undeployed the IAEK-FS-File but the problem persists.
I´m very pleasent for every answer.

Add attachment: File extension getting changed to lower case

Hi
When I upload the file say 'abc.TXT' the file extension gets changed to lowercase 'abc.txt' in the Unix server.
I want the fileextension to be in Uppercase in the server also.
file from desktop --- abc.TXT
file on the server --- abc.txt
Iam using delivered Addattachment functionality to upload the file to the server
Peopletools 8.49
