Java-wsdl-mapping file with incorrect case

Hi. We're working with JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 preview and have encountered what I believe to be a bug. We have a schema with element names that are mixed case (such as FirstName). We are trying to use JAXB to create our classes and then wrap it as a web service. The problem is, the WSDL and java-wsdl-mapping file references the element names as firstName rather than FirstName.
In experimenting, I've learned that if I create the WSDL and schema first and "Create Java Project from WSDL" that it creates a java-wsdl-mapping file with the case preserved. However the first time I go into the web services properties dialog and click OK, it re-creates these files with the case changed again.
Please advise if this is expected behavior...although I don't see how it could be since it is inconsistent.
Thanks very much,
Richard Davis

  • How can I generate a map file with LabVIEW?

    We wish to use a product which inserts code into our executable to prevent tampering with it by crackers.  The program, however, takes the executable file, as well as the map file (which is commonly generated by c++ compilers) and uses the map file to determine where in the exe the critical routines that need protection are at.  I can not, however, determine how to create such a map file for a LabVIEW generated executable.  Is there a special build option I need to invoke?

    Yes, I'm familar with NI's licensing technology, having talked with someone (you, Dennis, I believe) about it before.  The problem we have is our software is sold to factories in China where there are no internet connections.  We have a physical key 'dongle' which must be present in order for the executable to be willing to run.  However, it appears that people are taking the executable  which LabVIEW creates and they are editing it, probably by using a a debugger and tracing to the the code which checks for the dongles presence and bypassing it.  To my knoweledge, NI's products don't do anything to prevent this, right?
    We found a company which sells a product that encryptes, checksums, etc... an executable file, but it needs to know the layout of functions in the exe in order to determine which areas to focus the obfuscation on.  They were sort of matter of fact when they said it needs the exe and the map file, as if they expected any language which produced an exe could produce a map file.

  • Unbound Mapping  file with attributes.

    Hi,
    Could anyone please explain about Unbound mapping.
    I am trying to map a file to a unbound mapping file.
    While validating the mapping I got the following error.
    I am using OWB 10G R1.
    Error:
    VLD:1111-The mapping cannot be generated.because it contains a combination or sequence of operators.
    When I view the details...
    An invalid combination of operators prevents the generation of code in a single implementation language (PL/SQL code, or SQL*Loader code, or ABAP code). For example, you may have included a SQL*Loader only operator such as the Data Generator in a mapping with a PL/SQL implementation type. If you designed the mapping to generate PL/SQL code, an invalid combination or sequence of operators prevents the generation of PL/SQL code in any of the operating modes(set based, row based, row based target only). If the mapping contains an operator that generates only PL/SQL output, all downstream dataflow operators must also be implementable by PL/SQL. You can use SQL operators in such a mapping only after loading the PL/SQL output to a target. Detail is as follows:
    PL/SQL set based operating mode: Operator F_3cell_site_txt does not support SQL generation.
    PL/SQL row based operating mode: Operator F_3cell_site_txt does not support SQL and PL/SQL generation.
    PL/SQL row based (target only) operating mode: Operator F_3cell_site_txt does not support SQL and PL/SQL generation.
    Both SQL and PL/SQL handlers are not supported by F_3cell_site_txt as output
    SQL*Loader: Operator TEST_UNBOUND_FILE does not support SQL*Loader generation.
    ABAP: Operator F_3cell_site_txt does not support ABAP generation.
    Thanks and regards

    Hi,
    I have never heard of Unbound Mapping. I think the problem is with your usage of your OWB operators. If you are using flat file as source directly into your mapping and the in your mapping flow using OWB operators like Joiners/ Set Operators such kinds of errors appear.
    Try using an external table(which is based on your source file structure) as the source in your mapping. This external table can then be used against all your well known OWB operators.

  • How to .map files with OS X?

    The title is basically the question. I am about to start work on an RPG and the python module I am going to use requires .map files for many functions.
    I found 1 or 2 programs for Windows machines, but none for OS X.
    If you know any programs or suggestions please respond. If I have to program my game on MS it will never get done.

    Yes, you can install OS 9 onto the same volume.  However, when you initially formatted the drive you had an option to install Mac OS 9 drivers.  If you did not choose that option then you can only use OS 9 through the OS X Classic emulator.  You cannot boot directly into OS 9 unless the OS 9 drivers were installed when the drive was formatted.
    To install the Mac OS 9 drivers you would need to re-partition the drive which is a destructive process that will remove all the data currently installed.
    There is afirmware update needed for your particular model.  The update must be installed while booted directly into OS 9.1 or higher.  You may want to check with your sister to find out if the update has already been installed.

  • Proxy - ABAP mapping - file with content conversion

    Scenario goes from ECC (proxy) to XI then I do ABAP mapping.  I have tested the ABAP mapping with SXI_mapping_test transaction.  My ABAP mapping puts the payload back into XML and then the data goes to a file adapter where I also use content conversion.  If I do not do the content conversion the data comes out correct in XML.  When I change to content conversion I get 20 blank lines.  Is it possible to do content conversion from ABAP mapping?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Skip Ford

    Hi,
    Have you checked whether the blank lines you got in the XML files are from the blank nodes or elements which you created in ABAP mapping?
    If it is, then just create your elements or nodes whenever there are corresponding values in your ABAP mapping.
    e.g.
    If  l_sender_service is NOT initial.
      elementsender = odocument->create_simple_element(
                                   name = 'SenderService'
                                   value = l_sender_service
                                   parent = msgtype ).

  • Xsd - java : create enumeration file with non default ordinals

    Hi,
    i'd like to create an XSD file which will create a java enumeration file.
    I successed to create the enums in the java file like this :
    RED,
    ORANGE,
    BLUE
    (with default ordinals - 0, 1, 2 ...)
    but i want this to look like :
    RED (1),
    ORANGE (3),
    BLUE (10)
    thanks in advance,
    nati

    I'm not sure that you understand my meaning.
    I want that my XSD file will create automaticlly an enum file (in Java).
    right now, my XSD file looks like that :
    <xsd:simpleType name="colors">
    <xsd:restriction base="xsd:string">
    <xsd:enumeration value="RED"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="ORANGE"/>
    <xsd:enumeration value="BLUE"/>
    </xsd:restriction>
    </xsd:simpleType>
    and the java file which this XSD creates has the values above with the ordinals : RED - 0, ORANGE - 1, BLUE - 2.
    I'm asking if there is any way to control the ordinals of those values in the XSD file (NOT in the Java file) ?
    Thank you very much....

  • Writing to a file in java, reading the file with C++

    Is there a way that I can write data to a file (such as a sequence of floats, doubles, ints and chars) and then read the file in with a C++ program that will correctly interpret all the data types.
    Thanks,
    Darrin

    Well, in order to make files readable with different languages, you need to pay attention to byte-order. Generally, C++ reads things using the native byte order of the machine the code is running on. Java on the other hand usually uses big endian byte order everywhere. The java.nio package supports different byte orders, and probably would be helpful for your purposes. You should check out NIO API, specifically file channels and byte buffers, and see if that will serve your purposes. If you have any more specific questions, then come on back and post them.

  • Spring app cant find hmb.xml mapping file

    Hi, i am working on a spring mvc app using hibernate and i am having some trouble compiling and running my code.
    This is because it cannot find my FileObject.hmb.xml whenever i try to create a session factory bean.
    my bean looks like this
    <bean id="sessionFactory"
              class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean">
              <property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource1"></property>
              <property name="mappingResources">
                   <list>
                        <value>FileObject.hmb.xml</value>
                   </list>
              </property>
              <property name="hibernateProperties">
                   <props>
                        <prop key="hibernate.dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect</prop>
                        <prop key="hibernate.show_sql">true</prop>
                        <prop key="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto">create</prop>
                   </props>
              </property>
         </bean>     And the FileObject.hmb.xml resides in the root of my WAR folder. i have tried to move this file to different folders including the actual src folder and providing the correct path in the session factory but it still gives me a FileNotFoundException.
    is this because java doesnt recognise a hello.hmb.xml type of file? Most if not all file formats are like this: name.extension
    hibernate mapping files seems to be different though

    Look at the API for the setMappingResources method:
    [http://static.springsource.org/spring/docs/2.5.x/api/org/springframework/orm/hibernate3/LocalSessionFactoryBean.html]
    It's going to search the class path, this usually means unpacked classes and resources in the /WEB-INF/classes directory of your web application archive, plus classes and resources in JAR files under the /WEB-INF/lib directory. Example formats for the resources: "example.hbm.xml", "mypackage/example.hbm.xml", "mypackage/myotherpackage/example.hbm.xml".
    You can add locations of Hibernate mapping files with the setMappingLocations method.

    Hi eagleowl1. I may be showing my ignorance of PHP but why
    would you want to? The map file is not actually used by the
    application. Instead it is used by your developers to code the CSH
    call. Does PHP act differently? Anyway to answer your question, no
    it can't from inside RH.
