Using Java to encrypt files with RSA

Hi
I thinking of creating a javaprogram that encrypts my
files with RSA Cryptography.
Does anyone have some hints on what methods that
can come in handy?
I saw in the API that there are som methods relating this
like the interface RSAPublicKey, RSAPrivateKey from
the superinterface RSAKeyBut I could not find anything about some method to encrypt with
the keys...
help me please :(

Java-wsdl-mapping file with incorrect case

Hi. We're working with JDeveloper 10.1.3.1 preview and have encountered what I believe to be a bug. We have a schema with element names that are mixed case (such as FirstName). We are trying to use JAXB to create our classes and then wrap it as a web service. The problem is, the WSDL and java-wsdl-mapping file references the element names as firstName rather than FirstName.
In experimenting, I've learned that if I create the WSDL and schema first and "Create Java Project from WSDL" that it creates a java-wsdl-mapping file with the case preserved. However the first time I go into the web services properties dialog and click OK, it re-creates these files with the case changed again.
Please advise if this is expected behavior...although I don't see how it could be since it is inconsistent.

How can I encrypt files with java ?

I don't want others to see the content of my file.so,i try to encrypt the file.
but i don't know how to do .i think there may be two ways to do that .one is coding the file with some encrpytion tachniques .Another is try to add a locker to the file ,when someone try to read it ,the trigger is touched off.This trigger need you to input the password.

Can't encrypt files with fingerprint reader

I just bought a Toshiba E105-s1602 and I cant figure out how to encrypt files and folders with the fingerprint reader.
I use it to log onto the computer and in the instructions it says just to right click on the file and there should be something that says encrypt or something similar, but I have no options having to do with encryption.
Does anybody know how to use this, am I doing something wrong?

As far as I know this option depends on preinstalled software. I am not 100% sure but Toshiba offers two different applications for this purposes.
If such option is not available then this option is not offered by preinstalled application.

Encrypting files with disk image

With all the issues about stolen work laptops that might have confidential info. on them, I encrypted the files I wanted to keep safe using a disk image and password, and when I created the password, I unchecked the box about adding it to the keychain, so it wouldn't be. Then someone told me that anyone who stole a laptop would probably have software that could access the passwords anyway, so that makes it sound impossible to make any info. secure. True?

The encrypted files would require some pretty powerful computers to break so I wouldn't worry about them, as long as nobody else knows the password for the files
The person was probably referring to being able to reset your computer's passwords (the ones you use to log in with) if somebody had physical possession of your computer. In fact they can't even really get the passwords (unless OSX unix differs from the older version I am used to) but they could just go in and reset the password with their own. Using Java Access bridge (Accessibility) with oracle forms 6.0 client

I'm trying to use JAB (java Access bridge ) to capture events in oracle forms 6.0 client .
I've a Jinitiator 1.1.8 and JRE version 1.4x
I've configured JAB as per the installation guide . However the events don't surface in Java Monkey .
Has anybody encountered similar issue ? what is the solution for the issue ??
Also on one of the forums I read Jinitiator 1.3x and above is automatically recognised by Java Access bridge .
For jinitiator version less than 1.3 manual configuration is required . however I haven;'t been able to find any on the oracle forms KB

Using FTP to share files with 3 Windows computers - Not Working Anymore

My office is trying to share files with a number of computers, both Mac and PC. The files are housed on a Mac OS 10 version 10.6, and I've enabled both AFP and FTP sharing. The macs in the office connect just fine, but yesterday, after three weeks of working perfectly, the Windows machines stopped connecting to the Mac. They get a "The Connection with the server was reset" error. We don't use an FTP client - I just had the PCs connect to the Mac by typing ftp://address in their explorer window.
I've tried restarting all computers, disabling and re-enabling FTP sharing, and I've triple checked permissions, etc. Is there anything else I should be investigating? I'm trying to look into our firewall here, but since our computers are rentals and another company controls our internet access I'm not sure what I can do there. (I tried setting up workgroups, but said company won't give me administrative access over the PCs or access to the firewall, and there's no IT dept to speak of)
As I'm sure you can tell, I'm just a regular old office monkey who inherited the "IT" job with no IT experience, so I apologize if any part of this question is stupid.

I know just about nothing about this, but common dianostic practices include looking at the logs.
Either use Applications -> Utilities -> Console, which has a search function that might make this easier.
Or go looking around /var/log (which you can use Unix 'grep' to do your searching ). Then again, NOT ALL logs are in /var/log, and Console knows where more logs are located.
2 logs that might be a good starting point would be /var/log/messages and /var/log/secure

Use of "Archive Source Files with Errors" for BIC module error

I have Edi file to Idoc scenario , where i am using SEEBURGER BICXIADAPTER.MODULE.
My question is if the input file caught in error with BIC Module e.g
"MP: exception caught with cause Error in BICMODULE-module:Temporary error: BIC XI Adapter call failed. Reason: SegmentDescription: checkAndResetChildrenCounter() not enough repetitions of the segment UNH found: 0 instead of 1 offset :80 DESCRIPTION: SegmentDescription Warning: Not enough repetitions of the segment UNH ([not specified]/[not specified])."
can we move these errornous files to another directory using Processing parameter "Archive Source Files with Errors" available with Sender File Adapter?
In File Adpater my Module tab looks like :
1 localejbs/CallBicXIRaBean Local Enterprise Bean bic
2 localejbs/CallSapAdapter Local Enterprise Bean 0
In my scenario , its not working.. do we have any other option to achive this?

I had a raised a similar case with SAP and came to know that archiving only works if the error raised by the module is so called "Permanent". However, bic doesn't raise permanent error due to which archiving of error files won't be possible. Seeburger haven't came up with a solution yet.

Using fusion and sharing files with mac

I am getting a Mac Airbook and am going to be running Fusion from VMWare. I have an external Western Digital drive that I want to use to transfer my files to the Mac. Two questions:
1. Will the Passport software or at least the files - be recongnized by the Mac?
2. Does the Mac share the files with Fusion or do I need separate folders?

1. Your Mac will recognize the external drive without any problem if it's formatted with FAT, NTFS or exFAT. Note that OS X can't write into NTFS drives.
2. Your Mac can share files with a virtual machine if you install VMware Tools onto the virtual machine

Very easy to use to pull a file from a person's pc up to where the form is posted to. You will need to setup your form to type to be multi-part form. Use an input type of file to generate the file browse button.

Trouble using AirDrop to share files with an older Macbook

Hi all,
First off, I have tried researching this issue on other websites and in Google with no solution. I have a 2012 MacBook Pro running OS X v. 10.9.3, a 2008 Macbook running OS X v. 10.9.2 and I cannot get them to exchange files via AirDrop. Has anyone found a solution to this? Also related, I cannot get either laptop to exchange files with the iPhone 5 or iPad 2, both running current iOS. Though the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 both exchange files over AirDrop and with other iOS devices flawlessly. I am truly at a loss, I have followed every trouble shooting guide I can find. Any help or recommendations would be appriciated!

if you have a MacBook5,2, then it’s a 2009 model. You can try this possibility from the magical fix department: open up Terminal as your usual user, and give it the following commands:
defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces 1
killall Finder
After Finder restarts, does AirDrop work any better on your MacBook?
If that made no difference, you can undo the change above with the following commands:
defaults delete com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces
killall Finder

Issues using multiple load-config files with ant

I am creating an ant build script to compile our flex application. I am trying to use the default flex-config by doing <load-config filename="${flex.sdkPath}/frameworks/flex-config.xml"/> and project specific config file add the datavisualization module and any other libraries we might need in the future. I am trying to do this as I don't want to modify the flex-config.xml
The issue I keep running into is I get a compiler error saying "unable to locate specified base class 'spark.comonents.application..". if I place the custome load-config file above the adobe default flex-config it gives errors stating it the "SeriesSlide" type

It seems to be that the first "load-config" ant runs into is the only one that gets used. When looking around the internet I have multiple cases of where people say they have successfully used multiple load-config files.

If I had to guess on what was wrong I believe my FB-config.xml file is incorrect but I can't find an example of anyones custom configuration file.
Any guidance would be apprecaited.

I am embarrassed to say that your solution answered my question.
I was about 10 min away from rewriting my Ant script to just use the mxmlc.exe directly instead of the mxmlc ant tag. I kept running into the -flex-config+=YourConfig.xml for the command line option but never saw the xml variant.

In a Conversion file, Using Java Script - IF statement with Greater,Less definitions

Well, I've been trying to make a conversion file by using if statement of Java script with < , > definitions. unfortunately i got "Evolution error" over and over again.
Actually i want to convert all dates before 2009 as 2008.12. And the dates which is greater than 2009 will be converted as they are (e.g. 2009.01 or 2010.02 etc.).
Code is:

Writing to a file in java, reading the file with C++

Is there a way that I can write data to a file (such as a sequence of floats, doubles, ints and chars) and then read the file in with a C++ program that will correctly interpret all the data types.

Well, in order to make files readable with different languages, you need to pay attention to byte-order. Generally, C++ reads things using the native byte order of the machine the code is running on. Java on the other hand usually uses big endian byte order everywhere. The java.nio package supports different byte orders, and probably would be helpful for your purposes. You should check out NIO API, specifically file channels and byte buffers, and see if that will serve your purposes. If you have any more specific questions, then come on back and post them.
