Javadoc doesn't support default access

javadoc supports classes and methods that are public,protected or private. Any classes or methods that have default access are bypassed. The workaround is to make class and methods public that doesn't need to be public. Default package access make a lot of sense in a console program.

Try using the -package option.

Hi,
it does work with non standard ports but whatever port you specify it will always try to connect to the default port before actually changing the repo setting.
Therefore use the switches -n -o $WSHOME/WEB-INF/ServerRepository.xml to write the new configuration without performing the broken checks.

I'm trying to access a specific website built using Silverlight. My local Silverlight version is 5.1.30514.0, and I'm using IE 11.0.18 (KB3038314) but I keep getting the message "This browser doesn't support Silverlight, sorry!"
I've seen this work on other machines using the same version of IE and Silverlight so I'm not sure what could be causing that to come up.

What operating system?
If it's win 8+ without a pro on the end then that's a problem.
You need the desktop version of ie11.
If you see tiles, that's a problem.

I want to play music from iTunes and view photos from iPhoto from my MacBook (which is also connected to the home network) via the PVR / TV / Home Cinema sound system. I understand that my MacBook (running OS X Mavericks) doesn't support DLNA server.

My recollection is that the iPhoto library has some fairly robust protections to prevent inadvertent or even deliberate changes being made that might have unwanted consequences. I'll take alook at my setup and let you know if I can see anything that might help you. Even if you get Serviio to "see" the iPhoto library, it almost ceratinly won't show the album structure and names. What I did is to export each iPhoto album to a standard folder with the appropriate folder name. These I keep on an external backup disc and Serviio can see these without trouble.

Since the D-Link DCS-932L is accessible on the local network via a web browser, you should be able to access this camera from the Internet if your router has a publically accessible Public IP address. If your ISP provides you with a dynamic Public IP address, you may want to use a DDNS service to make it easier for you to locate your camera whenever your ISP changes your IP address.
Start the AirPort Utility > Select the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn).
Select Manual Setup.
Verify that Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address is selected on the Internet > Internet Connection tab.
Select Advanced, and then, select the Port Mapping tab.
Click the plus sign to add a new port mapping.
For Service, leave the default; this will change to "Custom" once you start entering port values.
In the Public UDP Port(s) and Public TCP Port(s) boxes, type in a 4-digit port number (e.g., 8888) that you choose. In the Private IP Address box, type the internal IP address of your camera. In the Private UDP Port(s) and Private TCP Port(s) boxes, enter the appropriate port values that should have been provided to you by the camera manufacturer. Click Continue.
In the Description box, type a descriptive name like "Internet Camera Access," and then, click Done.
Click on Update.
To connect to the shared Camera from a remote location using a Mac or PC:
Start your favorite web browser.
Enter either your Public IP address or DDNS-provided Domain Name, followed by a colon and the Public port number that you choose in step 7 of the previous procedure. For example: http://123.123.123.123:8888 or http://www.mydtdnsdomainname.com:8888

E61i worldmate problems and default access point

I cannot get Worldmate to connect without error. Worldmate support tell me to ensure that the "device default access point" is correct. However, I have not been able to find a global default access point setting anywhere, including the help doc!
Once into worldmate, you can apparently change your access point, but the first time it looks for a global default. So I cant even get in!
My phone is working fine with GPRS and WLAN, as long as the application allows me to select the access point.
Perhaps this is a change between e61 and e61i?
Anybody have the same problem?

The exact same thing happens to me when I install other programs, like Nokia Maps or 3D pool. When I install them and reboot, both worldmate and the new installed program doesn't work. This doesn't happen with other programs that I've installed so far, like Gmail or google maps.

Iwlist scanning gives: Interface doesn't support sc [solved]

When I'm trying to scan for all available networks I get:

My wireless card works fine if I set every parameter manually. I'm currently using the orinoco drivers that came along with ArchLinux.
It seems like that the version of the orinoco drivers installed doesn't support the scan stuff. But building the new orinoco drivers failed with

So I did try the wlan-ng26 driver downloaded and installed with pacman.
I remove the orinoco modules with

But when I try to insert the prism2_pci module, it doesn't exist. Why?

do you use a PKGBUILD?
update the driver: if it was copied to the right place and the kernel knows about it (depmod -a) it should work
for a start, check under
ls -la /lib/modules/`uname -r`/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/
that your module is installed under the correct location (the orinoco files should be newer than the other ones)
if this is so, make sure you are depmod -a (as root) ... and if even this is ok, then either you are running the new modules or something strange happened

That is correct, due to the way the class-matching is implemented in the TCAM, only permit statements in an ACL can be used for QOS class-matching based on ACL.
unfortunately, you'll need to redefine the policy class match in such a way that it takes the permit only.
if you have some traffic that you want to exclude you could do something like this:
access-list PERMIT-ME
1 permit
2 permit
3 permit
access-list DENY-me
!the exclude list
1 permit
2 permit
3 permit
policy-map X
class DENY-ME
<dont do anything> or set something rogue (like qos-group)
class PERMIT-ME
do here what you wanted to do as earlier.
eventhough the permit and deny may be overlapping in terms of match.
only the first class is matched here, DENY-ME.

So the question is am I doing something wrong? Should I just try and install windows 8 through my windows 7 partition and see if I can use the bootcamp 5.05033. Or do I solely have to use the bootcamp to install Windows 8? I'm not too familiar with bootcamp and how it runs.

if you're using parallels and full bootcamp then you're making it 100% more troublesome for youself then it needs to be
bootcamp is running windows directly on the hardware this give full memory and cpu and 3d video game power
running windows in parallels is running a virtual machine where one can't run powerful games and the like but one can have it in a window and change fast between osx and windows
parallels as the only virutal machine (as far as I know) support not have the operating system as a file on the osx harddisk but can access a bootcamp parition as virtual machine but without the benefits bootcamps provides
it's a service parallels provide for those who want both to play games in normal bootcamp and sometimes use windows in a virutal machine
just install it like a normal virtual machine and you need not worry about bootcamp drivers and the likes
plus it would mean that the windows part would be a part of the timemachine bacup of osx
which it is not when it's in bootcamp

Not to sounds rude, but this issue has been covered so much in the media that I find it hard to believe that people still don't know. However all iOS devices, never and will never support flash natively. Google "apple adobe flash war". There are some alternatives, try skyfire browser in the app store. Not perfect but might help. None the less, most sites these days support html5 video which runs on iPad. I am actually having hard time running across a site which doesn't support iPad. however that is my personal experience based on my personal interests.

AT&T doesn't support OS X

Have you ever tried to log on and pay your iPhone bill from your iPhone or any other Mac computer? Can't do it. AT&T's payment site doesn't work with OS X.
My experience is with a Premier (business) account. The first 14 reps with whom I spoke in Customer Service offered no info, but a representative in Executive Offices finally confirmed that OS X is not supported.

I've been trying to make payments on a business account, which can only be accessed thru "Premier" login, so maybe that's the difference. The rep who flatly informed me that their website doesn't support OS X is in the office of AT&T's CEO, but may have been specifically addressing business access.
It seems astonishing that a company as large as AT&T would consciously differentiate, especially since the iPhone is their key product and Apple a strategic partner. It's equally unclear why business customers would be treated differently, but the Premier site doesn't even support Firefox on a PC, only IE.

Can you copy default Access Levels in 3.1?

Hello,
We are trying to create custom Access Levels that are slightly different than the default levels (i.e. Full Control, View, View on Demand, etc.)
However, when we right-click on the Access Level it acts like it is copying, but it does not create the copy. If we create a new Access Level and call it Test....we can copy that and it results in a Test(2) Access Level.
It is like the default Access Levells cannot be copied/cloned. Looking for confirmation one way or another that this can be done or not.

You should, there was a bug in 3.1, unfortunately. I did see that it was escalated. If you need this functionality ASAP then open a message with support so they can attach your case to the escalation too and you can get an update when it's released.
If you have a 3.0 system available you can copy from there and migrate via import wizard. Not much of a work around I'm afraid... But a patch should be coming in a few months if not sooner.

When I try to add ANE extension to FB 4.7 get this error "This ANE doesn't support Desktop(Windows) platform". Is this a bug ?

By default, when an ANE is imported in to a Flex/ActionScript mobile project, it lets you know what are the un-supported targets for that ANE( i.e., both iOS and Android on device and current desktop) whichever are applicable. So its not a bug, it is the expected behaviour.
