JCOP Transfer key problem

I've received JCOP20 cards from manufacturers.
However, I heard that 3 keys(ENC key, MAC key, and KEK key) haven't not set.
I know that 3 keys should be set in order to pass mutual authentication.
So, I want to set 3 keys into JCOP card.
How can I do this?
As far as I heard, if I know transfer key , it's possible to set 3 keys into JCOP cards.
How can I do this? What APDU command should I execute?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

I'm using JCOP20 card and using JCOP development tool kit running in Eclipse.
What I heard is that card manufaturer say that ENC keys are not set in JCOP card.
So I have to set 3 keys. What I only know is transfer key of the card.

JCOP Transfer Keys

I've recieved card samples from a JCOP card manufacturer. ( JCOP10 and JCOP20 cards)
The JCOP20 cards came with a transfer key of 40414243444546474849a4b4c4d4e4f.
These cards worked fine.
The JCOP10 cards came with a different transfer key. And I have not been able to initiate a secure channel using this key. I have been trying to use this transfer key (in the same way I have used the key for the JCOP20 cards) as the value for the ENC key, MAC key, and KEK key.
I haven't heard back from the manufacturer yet, and I'm wondering if I just have the wrong key, or if I'm missing something. Has anyone had a similar problem?

My JCOP 10/20/30 use the same keyset and keyset values. By default for JC development that use the Global Platform Card Manager, with the exception of Gem+, vendors tend to use the same keyset/values.
I would contact the vendor and ask them what the default keyset/values are. If you've been attempting this for a while, you've locked the card and it's useless now. Even if the vendor tells you the key, you are locked out from failed attempts with the cardmanager.
Like xray pointed out, in real world deployment those key values are different. For my reference implementation CMS I change the keyset/values to simulate real world.
xraydog, I've heard of "transfer key" before and was used in context of "transferring CAP to card". I don't use that phrase though.

Follow up to my Luma Key problem

Tom has answered to my Luma Key problem of bad quality by recomending me to put the oval form under my clip instead from above, and it worked verz well.
But now I have another problem, I want now my oval to cross disolve to have the full scene that is now under to come gradually fully on screen. I have a cross disolve at the begining and at the end of the oval. Its fine for the oval to come gradually from full black screen to an oval with behind the 2nd scene, but when it shall starts to disolve, nothing happens. I also try with the pen, adding points and then pulling down in order to have the oval clip gradually dissolving, but nothing works ! Any clue ?

One way to do this is:
- Oval on V1
- Clip1 on V2 with Composite Mode > Travel Matte Luma
- Clip1 also on V3. Change it's opacity so it is 0 until the required number of frames before the end of the Oval. Then increase it's opacity to 100 at the end of the Oval.
There might be a more efficient way to do this.

'Keys' problem when trying to re install 10.2 on Power Mac G4

Have had my Power Mac G4 wiped clean prior to selling and am now trying to reinstall 10.2.
Install disc one reached the end of its loading process and then froze.
Install disc two did not respond when loaded.
Put install disc one back in while holding down 'C' key. Started to install but soon stopped.
Went to Disc First Aid > verify disc > 'keys out of order HD need repairing'.
Clicked 'repair disc' and indicated 'repair complete'.
Returned to 'verify disc' > HD needs repairing, key length too short.
Repaired once more, keys still out of order.
Removed Install disc one and loaded Disc Warrior.
Speed inhibited by malfunction stage 5 when rebuilding directory.
So with no full operating system loaded, how do we progress?

"Keys problems" are directory issues which, if not repairable by Disk Utility need a third party package like Tech Tool Pro, DriveGenius, or Disk Warrior. However, in some cases the disk hardware may be damaged or the HDD may have failed and unable to hold the format. When in DU check the SMART status. Even if the SMART Status is Verified and the HDD is more than 3 years old you should consider replacement.

Replication for Data on DEV and QA - bad idea - primary key problem now

I goofed. I tried to use replication to keep the data on my dev machine up to date with the live server. Now when I try to work on the database, adding new stuff, it fails. It says there is a primary key problem every time I try to add
a new item to a table with my program. I should have realized this would happen! Now, even though I've removed the replication, I'm having the problem. Can anyone help me get my database functional again :/ Or should I resort to a database

So you have an IDENTITY column in your table? Run a
DBCC CHECKIDENT (Transact-SQL) command with option RESEED to fix the current identity value to see if it works then.

Escape key problems.

My escape key has been freaking out on me lately. It seems to randomly decide to press itself down very rapidly, and it continues to do so until I press the key myself, fairly hard. The key isn't jammed or anything. Is there anything I can do to fix this, short of paying a rediculous price to get a new keyboard. This escape key problem makes even the most simple action a chore.
By the way, I'm using a Lenovo 3000 n100.

Yes, they told me they didn't do any laptop work. And I sent it in when it was still under warenty, asking them to look at both my non-working USB drives (that were causing a odd power problem and causin the computer to not start), and my weird escape key. They seemed to of forgotten the escape key, and just looked at the USB drives. It's not under warenty any more, and I don't want to send it back to them again, after the ordeal I had to go through last time.

7373 key problems

Hi - my 3-month old 7373 has suddenly developed key problems - for example, the "back" key doesn't work at all, and the * key brings up the volume control! This started without me doing anything unpleasant to the phone - any suggestions?

IDES Acces Key Problem

If you have the priviledge, you can get the developer key from SAP Marketplace. Else you have to get the developer key from your Basis guy. He/She will get it from SAP Marketplace.
In SAP Marketplace, go to Keys & Requests -> SSCR Keys

Focus manager - transfer focus problem

Hi,
Have three main components in my application that handles the tab and shift tab orders through a focus manager
The problem arises when I open a dialog window and have a bunch of TextFields and the focus manager is looking at my tabs. My Dialog components is nothing to do with my main components so I had to return true or false for my handleTab and handleShiftControlTab methods to tell me weather it's one of my main components. In other words, return ture if one of my main focused component and false otherwise
In the processKeyEvent method, the code for transfer focus doesn't work.
I'am trying to say if it's one of my main handle focus components, consume the key event because it was handle by the tab methods, otherwise the focus component should transfer focus to the next component
The problem is focusedComponent.transferFocus() is not doing anything.
What could be the problem?

My thoughts go to the possibility of your editing a JPEG that JPEG decompression "block" artifacts, or maybe a pattern of noise in your image.
I just tried selecting a subject using the new feature then doing a Refine Edge and didn't see a problem...

SCP02 Put key problem

I have next troubles, command put key fail, with 6982 code.
Secure channel mode - 3.
I don't have any problem with creating secure channel, it creates correctly, I think problem is with encrypting command or maybe with data.
In SCP01 I do not any operation with LastMac, but as I see in GlobalPlatform Library source, when we use SCP02, we must encrypt Last Mac with DEK Session key, it's correct ? Then I generate new mac for put key command, using "new" LastMac value as ICV. Next I encrypt command with AuthEnc Session key and append mac to result command.
In Put key I set algo as 0x81, len - 0x10, and CheckValue len - 0x3. This procedure work fine with CyberFlex card.
PS. JCOP Support don't send me any responce. Nice support ...
PSS. Maybe somebody explain me how to work with this SCP02 or have SCP02 implementation example.

With SCP02 you encrypt the key values in the PUT KEY command via the DEK session key, and in SCP01 with a static DEK key. Furthermore the session key generation is different. TO get an idea you can check out the open source project GPShell.
In Put key I set algo as 0x81, len - 0x10, and CheckValue len - 0x3. This procedure work fine with CyberFlex card.Gemalto cards have their own mechanism for SCP. If you search this forum you will find enough hints. JCOP does it strictly according to GP spec.

I have a problem... I have a revaluation area (04: in local currency) and a parallel revaluation area (05: in hard currency) and I have to revaluate an asset, but I couldn't with Tx ABAW. The error is :
Message no. 8Z876 No time base defined for the revaluation key
I checked the configuration and I think it's all ok. I did some tests and I could revaluate only the Area 04 (local currency). Example:
Area 04: 500000 PEN
Area 05: 0 USD.
But this is a big problem for example when I make a transfer the asset to other because the revaluation Area doesn't transfer.
Can anybody please tell me how resolve this?

The error
message 8Z 876 can be shown for two basic things:
1. TBE (Time Base exposure variant) is not maintained.
   Please check if any time base is maintained for the revaluation key.
And if it have all the intervals correctly defined and the post flag
marked for the months required to calculate revalaution.
   If it is maintained please check if the last revaluation date is
filled in your revaluation areas. If the last revaluation date field is
blank, the time base must have the following entry: 31.12.XXXX-1 where
XXXX is the current fiscal year (for ABAW).
2. In the ABAW transaction itself you are trying to post values to any
of the parallel areas defined in the chart of depreciation.
   In transaction ABAW (or AB01) do not post any amount to parallel
areas. The posted values should be equal to zero.
   The values in hard currency will never be revaluated by the inflation
program. If this is the case, please enter manually only zero values as
"Amount posted" in those parallel areas.
If by some specific reasons you still plan to post (manually) to these
parallel areas, you will get error message 8z876 in accordance to your
explanation of the problem.
   To allow posting of non-zero amounts to these areas, you need to
create Revaluation Key NULO. To do this, go to the customizing system
IMG (transaction SPRO) according to the link:
IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Asset Accounting -> Special Valuation ->
        Revaluation of Fixed Assets -> Revaluation for the Balance Sheet
        -> Inflation -> Maintain Revaluation Keys
Create new entry (click F5) for key with name NULO, And save data
(Ctrl+S).
Please, adjust your customizing in accordance with the instructions
above.

N79 keys problem

Hi,
I have an issue that seems like many people have too. Suddenly, when I press any key on my phone (except the power key) the phone freezes. Sometimes I cant even enter the pin code. Even if I log in to the the phone, right after I start dialing a number or typing a message - the phone freezes. The phone is 2 months old, with latest firmware (which could be the problem). I have reinstalled the firmware, used reset code like a million times over the last week. No change though. The phone has not been dropped or anything. I switched off the theme change, automatic screen rotation, key lock, navi key, pretty much everything, but no change. After searching the forum I see there are plenty of people with the EXACT same problem, but no one could get a solution.I could not find any service centers in Canada to check the phone. Regarding warranty: nokia website cannot even find my IMIE number. So, nokia people please give me some solution. If its not fixable then tell me and I throw it out the window from my 18th floor apartment.

I tried resetting in every way I thought was possible, but no luck. However, today i did the * 3 green button reset and so far it worked for about half a day. I typed messages and made calls and so far seems to work.
So basicly what I did was:
1. Turn off your phone
2. Hold the (*) button + (3) button + (Talk) green button at the same time and turn on your phone. Keep holding those 3 buttons untill you see a welcome screen with Nokia on it or may be a time choosing screen. Then release them. Phone should be formatted or reset or whatever its called.
3. DO NOT move any settings that you had or contacts from your old phone (for now at least).
I did this about 6 hours ago, and the phone is still alive. Not sure if it will do the trick or may be I am just lucky for couple of hours.
The reason I told not to move any settings to your phone is because I think may be there was some kind of corrupted file or whatever. At least thats what I am hoping for.
I think this reset is different from *#7370# and from reinstalling the firmware. Reinstalling firmware gave me no noticable difference - all of my files, settings, messages, etc. were still there. Thocode reset does actually somewhat format your phone, however, after formatting I pushed the Multimedia/Navigation (or whatever its called) button and all of the tiles were the same as I set them up before formatting. Music Player tile even showed me last Track I played before formatting, even though I took the memory card out. So, I think it didn't fully format the phone.
The process I described seems to work for me for now, dont know how it will turn out. I did not transfer any contacts or settings back to the phone, just trying to see if its going to work.
Try that and tell me if it is working for you. Tomorrow I will post again so you know if it worked.
I had absolutely no help in this, but I see that many ppl are struggling with this too.
I fyou didn't understand the procedure, just google it there are many websites with that info. Just plz tell me if it worked because I have no idea.

Buttons and enter key problem

there are a few projects of enterprise quality which I am developing in java swing. I found out through research that many or rather most people involved with java believe that swing is ready for enterprise class robust desktop applications.
so I as the team leador am starting my new projects in java swing.
I personally find that the amount of java libraries present provide a rich set of functionality and it gives big mussle power to the developers.
I am only concerned about one problem which many of you might have solved.
I find that I have to hit the space bar instead of enter key to fire an action. in languages like vb I can press enter key to fire the click events. specially in menu items I certainly don't expect my clients to press the spacebar. besides there are many people who are so used to the keyboard and enter key in particular that it will be hard or rather next to impossible to change their habbits.
how can I make the menu items work with the enter key. I mean do I need to create the code for keypress events every time I also create an action performed method? or is there a way where I can do it without extra coding.
it is just that I don't want to right extra code for enter key along with click events.
one more important note.
I am a blind person and I use the access bridge technology of java.
so when I am involved in coding, I use the same.
so may be my problem isn't a problem in the first place.

The enter-key works on menu-items in all my applications. It did so since I started with java few years ago.
Maybe some other problem (OS-specific) ?

Contribute CS4 and CS5 file transfer (publish) problem on Windows 7 64 bit

Have a problem with Contribute CS5 and CS4 on Windows 7 64 bit where upon editing a webiste for example to add a new page (or edit an existing one) and then clicking on "publish" a blank page appears on the website. To explain this further, If i make the required changes to the page and select the option to publish the file later then the file wirtten to the PC appears to be ok and has all the changes, but as soon as I publish it, only a blank page appears on the web server. ie the upload (ftp) process does happen but the content of the page is being stripped out somewhere during the filt transfer process.
I have editied the same site with CS4 on windows XP without any problems.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I seem to have solved the issue by downloading this install file

which installs successfully.
