JDE One World Purchase Order Question

Hello,
I'm not sure I'm in the correct forum, so my apologies up front if I'm in the wrong place. If you know where this should be posted please let me know.
I'm working in JDE One World under purchasing (3rd party) dealing with purchase orders.
I'm trying to do a change order, and I need to change the currency from GBP to EUR for an order, but don't seem to be able to access the currency in my header. Is there a way to do this, or do I have to make a new order with the correct currency.
Thanks in advance,
Kath

  • Basic things needed to connect JDE One World XE B7333 SP17  to XI?

    Hello....
Can anyone tell me the basic things needed to connect JDE One World XE B7333 SP17  to XI?
Hve anyone done this scenario before?
    --Pramod.

    Hi Pramod
I have not worked on any scenario between JD Edwards and XI, but SAP has a list of adapters provided by iWay software, one of which is used to connect to JDE One World XE. The good thing about this adapter is that, you do not require a separate runtime.
You can get more info about the adapter from SAP Market place under,
SAP Exchange Infrastructure --> SAP XI in Detail --> Connectivity --> Connectivity SAP XI 3.0 --> iWay.
    hope it helps

  • JDE 8.10 Purchase Order Planning Message (R34A870)

    Hi,
We have a JDE 8.10 customer currently implementing ASCP. When purchase orders are released from ASCP, can the JDE inbound process update existing purchase orders in JDE when there is qty/date change? Can it also handle cancellations? If updates and cancellations can be done, what attributes need to be setup in JDE for that? When we run the inbound processor now, only new purchase orders are being created without any updates to existing ones.
    Thanks,
    Venkat

    HI Venkat
I have feeling that your integration with E1 to ASCP is through VP (Value Chain Planning). I would ask if you can open a service requestion with the supply chain planning group and we can further look into this issue.'
    Thanks

  • One step purchase order approval - Trigger only in certain cases.

    Hi,
I want to trigger the one step workflow approval for Purchase Orders only in ceraitn cases.
When the PO is created from a shopping cart it has to be automatically approved. In other cases the workflow has to be triggerred.
I tried setting the no_further_approval flag to 'X' in the Approval BADI but did not work.
    Any Suggestions?
Does the BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI work for one step approval or is it only for the n step?
Is it better to manipulate the start conditions?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Joe Vellaiparambil

    Hi
If the workflow is not working as expected, refer to SAP Note 322526, Analysis for workflow problems.
You should go with making the start conditions work, as you are aware that only 1 level Approval is required. Try making changes in the start conditions by using transaction - SWB_PROCUREMENT.
Note ->This BADI - BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI is only recommended for N-step dynamic approval workflow. I don't think you need this BADI as the first alternative.

  • BAPI to modify items and create new ones in Purchase Order

    Hi, everybody!
We need to change purchase orders (PO's) using a BAPI.
We need not only to modify and delete the existing items in a PO, but also create new
items in the same PO. Is it possible to do that using the bapi called BAPI_PO_CHANGE?
If it isn't so, which BAPI should we use?
    Could anybody help us?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Use the Function module BAPI_PO_CHANGE. This BAPI changes the existing line and also will append new lines to the existing POs.
The other mandatory part is to populate the Change Parameter tables too.
    Hope this answers your question.
    Raj.

  • Can any one send purchase order flow with detail

hi i have one doubt during purchase order can any one send flow of purchase order

    Ravi,
What Is The DataFlow Of MM?
The dataflow as functional process below are the points:
    1) Purchasing Requsition -> sent by inventory dept to purcharsing dept
    2) Request for Quotation(RFQ)-> Purchasing Dept shall ask the vendors to give the quotation for the requested materials by inventory.
    3) Quotation -> Quotation is sent by vendors to the company
    4) Purchase order-> Based on all paramers of a quotation sent by vendors. Vendors are selected from whom the material has to be obtained.  The company  gives  purchase order to the vendor.
    5) Good's receipt -> vendors sends the goods to the company with goods receipt
    6) Invoice verification ->  this done based on good's receipt. this means that the ordered goods have reached or not.
    7) Payment -> payment is done based on invoice verification. this is (FI/CO)   *-- Santosh Kumaar.M
    Full MM Transaction Codes Flow:
    RFQ to Vendor - ME41
    Raising Quotation - ME47
    Comparison of Price - ME49
    Creation of PO - ME21N
    Goods Receipt - MIGO
    Invoice (Bill PAssing) - MIRO
    Goods Issue - MB1A
Physical Inventory - MI01( Create doc)
    MI04 (Enter Count)
    MI07 (Post)
    The FI - MM integration:
First you define the g/l master records.
    1) Inventry raw material a/c
    2) GR/IR clearing a/c
    3) Raw material consumption a/c
Above like this you define all required g/l accounts then you will go to T.CODE - OBYC
Double click BSX (this is transaction key)
          "            GBB
          "            WRX
          "            PRD
    These are transaction keys important.
Then you go to T CODE - OMSY (this is also important) then
      Material creation T Code MM01
      then
    1) Purchase order T.code  ME21N
    2) Goods received     "       MIGO

  • Purchase Orders question

    Hello everyone,
Is there any output type in SAP that is capable of creating an inbound delivery from a purchase order without the involvement of Outbound delivery created in SAP
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Amar,
It is quiet possible to create inbound delivery with respect to the vendor confirmation but with respect to outbound delivery to create inbound you have to activate user exit.
If this is for stock transfer please refer sapnote1083602

  • Purchase Order Question

    Hi,
Is there a way to get an alert / block when a item is purchased by an vendor that is not the correct vendor because on the purchase tab in item master data there is a different vendor selected.
    thx.
    Mark

If you want to block purchasing from vendors different from the preferred vendor, you can insert this code into your SBO_SP_TransactionNotification procedure:
    If @object_type = '22' AND @transaction_type in ('A','U')
    BEGIN
    If exists
    (Select pl.ItemCode
    From OPOR p
inner join POR1 pl on p.DocEntry=pl.DocEntry
inner join OITM i  On pl.ItemCode=i.ItemCode
    Where p.DocEntry = @list_of_cols_val_tab_del
      and p.CardCode != i.CardCode)
    Begin
    set @error =1
set @error_message = 'You can purchase only from the preferred vendor !'
    End
    END

  • Inbound delivery creation with out reference to purchase order

As per my requirement i am third party warehouse who provides space for my customers . i receive  goods from lot of customers who have their own ERP system or may not be any ERP system . The goods i am going to receive is non valuated material. How do i receive GR in the above scenario.
I am thinking to create one dummy purchase order and then create inbound delivery. Otherwise How do i create inbound delivery without reference to any documents?.

    Hi,
    Inbound delivery
You can create  purchase Order(ME21N),inbound delivery in t.code: VL31N and Goods Receipt in t.code: VL06IG and post the goods wrt PO into the GR blocked stock (movement 103) and finally you can release goods from blocked stock to unrestricted stock with 105 Movement type, if satisfy quality or other criteriau2019s.
    Or
As you said, you just keeping customer stock better create material with non-valuated material type UNBW and do regular process like PO, GR & GI etc.Inbound delivery  not required for above said process.

  • Down payment (F-48)   for Asset Purchase Order

    Dear Experts,
Please guide me,   i  am getting one error while doing down payment to  vendor through F-48 ,    I created one asset purchase order,  against purchase order making down payment that time  i am getting this  error message
"You cannot use this transaction type to post to this asset
    Message no. AA834
    Diagnosis
The transaction type entered belongs to transaction type group 15. According to the specifications for this transaction type group, posting with transactions types belonging to this group are only allowed in specific asset classes (for example, asset classes for assets under construction).
The asset to which you are posting belongs to class 401006 (chart of depreciation WCCD). You cannot post to this class using the transaction type you have entered.
    Procedure
Check the asset number entered. You may want to allow posting with this transaction type group for the asset class of the asset.  "
my asset is plant and machinery, any configuration is required.
as per my knowledge i checked in T.code : OAYB   transaction type groups   15  only assign AUC asset class and  Capital  Advance.    In account determination  balance sheet  accounts   there is  Acquistion : Down payment   and  Clearin G/lL for Down payment   g/l a/c  not assign .
SAP F1 help  in that field (above said)  is saying that only for AUC.
Please guid me ,   What to do.
    Thanks & Regards
    Chandu

    Hi Chandu,
Can youplease confirm the the Asset Class (the one linked to the asset you are using for carrying out down payment with T.Code F-48) has been set-up in configuration as an AUC asset class. Check on T.Code OAOA for the radio button selected for Status of AUC.
In case your Asset Class - which is Plant & Machinery - has been set up as "No AuC or summary management of AuC" i.e. has been set-up as a final asset class then you will get the error.
    Solution Options:
    (1) Either change the Asset Class set-up (using T.Code OAOA).
Please note - you might not be permitted/able to do this if the system already has posted transactions for this asset class.
    (2) Carry out the downpayment for an AUC Asset (create an AUC Asset using T.Code AS01). Carry out F-48 for this. Later settle this AUC asset to the required/relevant final asset (using T.Codes AIAB and AIBU).
    (3) Specify your Asset Class as available for carrying out DownPayment transaction. Use T.Code OAYB and for Transaction Type Group 15, include/add a new entry for your asset class.
    (4) Ensure that the Account Determination linked to you asset class (check this in T.Code OAOA) has been correctly and adequately set-up for GL account determination (use T.Code AO90).
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Ruchi

  • SUS Invoice against Purchase Order

    Hi Experts,
How to create one SUS Invoice for one whole purchase order directly?
Let us say – there are two line items in a purchase order. In SAP a GR is created for the material & a Confirmation is created from SUS and released
in ECC. Supplier wants to create only one invoice for the whole of this purchase order.
When Supplier open the “Create Invoice”, he has an option to create Invoice “For a purchase order” which lists the Purchase Order (which has GR and SES created) but when “Create Invoice” button is clicked–  SUS shows a success message that “No suitable or open items found”?
Any idea on what is wrong?
    Thanks

SAP confirmed via a OSS Incident - this is not possible in the 702 SUS.
