JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 and the Fusion Order Sample Application

Hi all
I am trying to explore SOA Suite 11g features, particularly the BPM part. I am unable to find any tutorials relating to this feature (can someone point me to some?) and therefore am trying to simply install the Fusion Order demo to have a look around myself.
I have installed JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0 (and the SOA Composite Editor and BPM Studio add-ins) and am trying to get the Fusion Order demo to work with it. I downloaded the zip file from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/learnmore/fod1111-407812.html and followed the instructions there but when I try to run the StoreFrontUI project all I get is a blank screen.
The server log has messages:
<AzUtil> <getPermClassLoadingErrorMessage> Cannot instantiate permission class "oracle.fodemo.storefront.store.view.AccountPermission", target "AccountPermission", or actions "view" as defined in the system policy context.
and
<ADFContext> <getCurrent> Automatically initializing a DefaultContext for getCurrent.
Then theses messages appear
<ApplicationImpl> <createComponent> JSF1004: Cannot instantiate component of type oracle.dss.adf.graph.Graph
<NavigationPaneRenderer> <_renderContent> Warning: There are no items to render for this level
I have also tried running the login.jspx page directly, which loads and presents me with a login screen, but using the FOD/fusion combination I had in the Build.Properties.xml I get the message invalid username/password and again get the message

Just for verification - which version of FOD did you download? what's the zip name?

I ran into the same problem. If the jdeveloper.home was set like below:
jdeveloper.home=C:\oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper
A Run Ant Target buildAll would produce the following:

No where could I find the path C:\oracle\Middleware\utils\quickstart set in any of the scripts. If I hard coded the path in the fileset below

I would just get another error further in the process when the jdeveloper.home was expanded again.
When I change the "\" to "/" in the jdeveloper.home (<fileset dir="${jdeveloper.home}/../wlserver_10.3/server/lib">) the build completed successfully.

Problem in extracting the Fusion Order Demo Application

I am trying to download the Fusion Order demo application and when extracting the zip folder getting the below error message. So, could you please get me the file or location where can get this file : FusionOrderDemo_R2.zip

Framework order is also known as Blanket PO.....which we use for the procurement of Low value Material with Long term planning....It is used as Mini Contract....
Blanket Order:
Used for long validity period and with the provided value limit. By its name u201Cblanketu201D which covers to required long time? We use doc type FO(for long period) and item cat. B(for value limit).Goods receipts or the entry and acceptance of services performed are not necessary in the case of a blanket PO and limit items. The invoices are posted directly with reference to the purchase order, provided that the specified value limit is not exceeded. But manual entry of invoiced amount and invoiced quantity is required during LIV process.
Example: Procurement of stationary items.
Frame work order:
Framework order (FO) is a document type which is provided by the standerd SAP.
It can be used for the consumable material ( Which is having low value & where making GR is not of worth like C category item.) & called as blanket PO. Here we need to mntion the validity period & target value or quantity as a restriction as well as need to mention item category as a "b".
Also it can be used for the procurement of extarnal services (Item category "D" ). Here we need to do the entry of services which have been performed & need to accept the same whereas in blanket PO, GR is not required.
At the end i would tel u that Framework order is the document type which can be used as blanket Po & procurement of services.

I can only assume you mean how to create the catalog items. Here I suggest you look at the demo source as this is what the demo is for. If you are new to ADF, I recommend that you first run a tutorial from here

Creating a project in Flex Builder for the Hybrid Store sample Application

Hi all,
How to create a project in Flexbuilder for the hybrid store
sample application.
I downloaded the source code of hybridstore application,
Now i have to create a project for it to run that application
in my system,
will you please tell me how to create a project for this
sample.
I have also read the readme.html file. but i could not follow
exactly what they are saying.
what i did is, I unzipped the source code into a folder
hybridstore.
I opened the flexbuilder : File -- new -- flexproject ( i
have selected) then i have given name to my file (hybridstore) ,
and set the path to the hybridstore folder where the source code
exists.
but it as created hybridstore.mxml file also.
it is not working.
will you please till me how to create project for this
application.
I have created project for other samples like restaurent
finder, dashboard. they are working fine.
I got problem with this sample only.

How to get the Purchase Order sample form to have 2 detail regions?

I would like to use the "Purchase Order" sample form as the base, and add one more "detail header" and "detail" subform to it.
So I copy and paste the "detail header" + "detail" subforms, and position them right beneath the first "detail" subform.
It works to certain extend. I can click the "Add Item" button(s), and it would expand the respective "detail" region.
The problem comes when things get expanded to the 2nd page.
Say, I first add 5 rows to the 2nd "detail" region, everything still fits in one page;
then I keep adding rows to the 1st "detail" region, and it begins to expand to the 2nd page....
everything in the first "detail" region can still fit in the first page,
the rows in the 2nd "detail" region should get pushed to the 2nd page...
but when I look at the 2nd page of the form, the "detail header" on the 2nd page is that of the "FIRST" detail header, not the 2nd detail header!!
So, when you look at the entire form, you have
First Detail Header
some First Detail Rows
2nd Detail Header
some 2nd Detail rows
--- end of page 1---
--- page 2---
First Detail Header
some detail rows (can't tell if they belong to the first detail region or 2nd detail region)
This obviously is not right.
So, how do I fix it such that the Detail Header on the 2nd page is that of the 2nd Detail header???

an update:
I have found out that the detail rows on the 2nd page are all that of the 2nd detail region.
so, it's like this:
when you look at the entire form, you have
First Detail Header
all the First Detail Rows
2nd Detail Header
some 2nd Detail rows
--- end of page 1---
--- page 2---
First Detail Header
some 2nd detail rows

JCA Binding Component connection issue in the Oracle Order Demo Application

Hi,
I setup the Oracle Fusion Middleware. I also deployed the Oracle Fusion Order Demo Application in the soa_server. I placed the order in the store front web.I initiated the webservice (OrderBookingService) and found the below error in the soa_server_diagnostic log file.

Caused by: BINDING.JCA-12563
Exception occured when binding was invoked.
Exception occured during invocation of JCA binding: "JCA Binding execute of Reference operation 'Write' failed due to: JCA Binding Component connection issue.
JCA Binding Component is unable to create an outbound JCA (CCI) connection.
OrderBookingComposite:USPSShipment [ Write_ptt::Write(body) ] : The JCA Binding Component was unable to establish an outbound JCA CCI connection due to the following issue: BINDING.JCA-12510
JCA Resource Adapter location error.
Unable to locate the JCA Resource Adapter via .jca binding file element <connection-factory/>
The JCA Binding Component is unable to startup the Resource Adapter specified in the <connection-factory/> element: location='eis/file/FODFileAdapter'.
The reason for this is most likely that either
1) the Resource Adapters RAR file has not been deployed successfully to the WebLogic Application server or
2) the '<jndi-name>' element in weblogic-ra.xml has not been set to eis/file/FODFileAdapter. In the last case you will have to add a new WebLogic JCA connection factory (deploy a RAR).
Please correct this and then restart the Application Server
The invoked JCA adapter raised a resource exception.

I resolved the issue.
The issue is that FileAdapter for FulFillment mediator is missing.
Solution 1:
File adapter connection factory needs to be created via the weblogic console
The details below:

     inboundDataSource     java.lang.String     jdbc/SOADataSource
     outboundDataSource     java.lang.String     jdbc/SOADataSource
     outboundDataSourceLocal     java.lang.String     jdbc/SOALocalTxDataSource
     outboundLockTypeForWritejava.lang.String     oracle
Solution 2:
seedFodFileAdapterResources target in $FOD_HOME/bin/common-sca-tools.xml needs to be executed to create the file adaptor.

Hi,
The error message is saying you don't have a member named "E01_0" in your outline, you can check this by opening the outline in EAS and trying to find the member.
Once you have checked that go into planning web, administration, dimensions, select entities and search for "E01_0", if it exists then you have not refresh from planning to essbase. You will need to go manage database and refresh.

Below mentioned is the problem we are facing,
In the Customer Line Item Display (FBL5N) it is vital for us to be able to view the customer's purchase order number as well as the sales order number for each billing document listed by customer.
We need to be able to extract this information for each customer and import to an excel spread sheet for analysis, specifically for our larger customers that have over 500 plus lines.
Kindly advise how to go about the same.

explanation of the issue.
The only way to see some information regarding related PO-es in a Vendor
line items is a workaround. For example, it is possible to create
a substitution in order to fill in one of not currently used fields
like Reference, Text, etc.

Account assignment of the incoming invoice and the purchase order

Hi,
I am trying to control the account assignment of an incoming invoice against the account assignment of the purchase order used. The link I found is the field ZEKKN. I think RBCO-ZEKKN tells me what account assignment of the purchase order (EKKN-ZEKKN) I am using (just as RSEG-EBELN and RSEG-EBELP help to point the item of the PO used in the invoice). This link is working pretty well in 99% of my Pos and invoices. But sometimes when I create an assignment line in the PO, this line is created with a key EBELN, EBELP, ZEKKN = 02, even if any assignment was created wit an ZEKKN = 01.
In this case, when I park an invoice on this PO, the value of RBCO-ZEKKN is 01 and not 02 as in the table EKKN.
It is very annoying because the control I implement blocks the posting of the invoice..
Any idea or any new link between tables RBCO and EKKN will be very appreciable.

Yes they are same. You will be creating a purchase order in ME21n. After creating purchase order you will shown a number for that order.

Hello,
The PO number field you see in VA03 is usually an input which need not be an actual PO number existing in the current system.So you can have a PO number like 'test123'.The system will accept it and store it as is in the table VBAK.
However if you create a sales order with reference to a PO number then the PO number obviously does exist in the system and can be accessed via transaction ME23n and can also be found in tables EKKO,EKPO.
So to sum up the number you enter in the PO field may or may not be an actual PO number existing in the SAP system.it can be used as a reference for later checks a customer may do when he calls to find out the status of his sales order.
