I have seen lot of friends here asking how the oracle dba work will be..how to get junior dba position..Guess here all the Guru's are holding a senior or director level position in their organization..It will be greatly helpful for us if we know the job openings...Not sure if i can ask this question in discussion forum..Yet i posted it..Apologies...

Closed Job openings, still show up in Careers page

Hi-
We have an issue with closed job openings, still show up in the careers page in HCM 9.2 with tools 8.53, Can you please let me know if its a setup issue or any job that needs to be run to clear up the careers page with only active job openings?

Deleting old job openings

Because a lot of people are apparently unable to read and understand a calendar, would it make sense to just delete job openings that are more than a few months old.

Hi Dennis,
My current way of handling that board is to wait until the person that created the post notifies me and then I delete it. However, not everyone knows how to notify a moderator. Perhaps I could put a note in the announcements or create a thread and float it to the top of the board with best practices for the board. It probably wouldn't eliminate the fact that people don't always read the announcement, but it may help the person posting the thread to know that we can take it down for them.
Even better - I can add a disclaimer that threads may be deleted after a certain amount of time at the moderator's discretion.

Oracle application job openings for Diploma holder

Hi All,
I am not sure whethe it is right place to put this query, but still trying to know the reply on following.
How are the job opening for non IT Diploma holder ( India, Maharashtra), with 7 years of manufacturing process experience. Also have Oracle apps end user experience ( 3 yrs).
If I undergo Oracle 11i functional track training how easy will be the entry in core IT service companies. ( apps implementation). Which are the companies opting for such profiles?

Only few companies will recruting SAP Certified Freshers..But as a certified consultant get more calls rather than non certified freshers...In mumbai Reliance,Fujistu ,capgemini, recruiting certified freshers..
