JPA:How to map List Map Enumerated,EntityType database?

as we know that we can map collections to database with ElementCollection annotation; how to map a collection of collection of entity?
for example:
List<Map<Enumerated,EntityType>>
thanks

you have to do customization to acheive this.

  • Help me please : Serious problems with collection-mapping, list-mapping and map-mappi

    Hi everybody;
    I have serious problems with list-mapping, collection-mapping and map-mapping.
    Acording to specifications and requirements in a system I am working on it is needed to
    get a "list" of values or an indivudual value.I am working with ORACLE 9i Database,
    ORACLE 9i AS and ORACLE 9i JDEVELOPER.
    I tried to map a master-detail relationship in an entity-bean, using list-mapping.
    And this was very useful in order to get a "list" of details, ...but, when I wanted
    to get a single value I have some problems with persistence, something about "saving a state"
    despite I just want to get the value of a single detail.
    I decided to change it to map-mapping and the problem related with a single detail
    worked successfully, but I can get access to the whole bunch of details.
    May anyone of you help me with that?
    I am very confused I do not know what to do.
    Have any of you a solution for that problem?
    Thank you very much.

    Have you tried a restore in iTunes?

  • How can I list used database/table size resp user space ? Compression after

    How can I list used + maximum tablespace/database/table size of an Oracle database ?
    How can I list the space used currently by a user resp. his tables+indizes ?
    By the way: If I delete a user or table from an Oracle database installation: are then only the entires deleted
    or is the space released as well ?
    In otherwords: After I deleted a user resp. table is it recommended to do something like a "compress" similarly to Outlook
    or other eMail clients to shrink really the occupied space on hard disc ?

    I hope this helps you

  • How to get list of databases running in Solaris?

    First day @ work as junior...already telnet into Unix enviro. how do i list the names of databases running?

    Since the ps command only lists those that are currently running at the time the command is issued (not accounting for ones down for maintenance, etc) You could look at /var/opt/oratab to see all databases configured for that paticular SUN server. Do a "more /var/opt/oratab".
    Just wanted to provided another point to find all databases on a server.

  • List of values from Database Adapter - BPM Forms

    Hi all,
    Can anyone tell me how to get list of values from Database adapter and a ServiceTask.
    As example lets say a table has Employee and Department columns.
    I want to list down all the Employees in BPM form (Select One List Box) once i provide the department to the Database Adapter.
    Is it possible from the DB Adapter?? What will be the variable type?
    Thanks,
    Nir

    Hi DanielAtwood,
    Thanks for your reply...
    Actually when i send the variable in 'WHERE Clause' in Db Adapter query it will retrieve more than one record as the output.
    I want to put that values to a 'SelectOneChoice' component and list down all the values..
    First I tried with data control. But i couldn't find the way to pass the value to the variable(in WHERE clause) to the query in data control view.
    Thanks,
    Nir

  • Please Help::How to display a Map with LIsts as Keys and Values using JSTL

    Hi,
    I need some assistance on how to display a Map in JSP using struts or core JSTL. I have a HashMap which has a List of keys and each key maps to a value of an ArrayList.i.e I have an ArrayList of taxCodes and each taxCode maps to a value of taxDetails which is an ArrayList of details for for that particular taxCode. I have some trouble to display each taxCode then display taxDetails for each taxCode. Here is my code below:

  • How long does it take for the custom field created in SFDC to show up in the field mapping list?

    How long does it take for the custom field created in SFDC to show up in the field mapping list? I hit the refresh field button, but it is not showing up after 5 min. Do I just need to have patience?

    Hi,
    What do you have to do to the field in SFDC to make it accessible so that it shows up in the Eloqua field mapping area as a field to be mapped?

  • How to create table with list/map value binding

    I need to display few values in a tabular format. Is it possible to create adf table without having value binding to a VO object. Can I make a table with some list/map combination.
    I want to change the display format with minimum change in the application. Hence I am looking for a change to define a list/map and map it with the table.
    Following is the structure I need to display in.
    |     |Header1|Header2 |
    |_______|_______|_______|
    |Txt R1 |value 1 |Value 2 |
    |_______|_______|_______|
    |Txt R2 |Value 3 |value 4 |
    |_______|_______|_______|
    All the views does not have any relation. Hence I should not create a VO and adding rows of the VO object.

    Yes, you can do it. Create a pojo with the properties(column) you want to display in the table and create a list with the instances of pojos and then you can populate your table using the list.
    Sample:
    //POJO
    public class SamplePojo {
    private String col1;
    private String col2;
    public SamplePojo(String col1, String col2){
      this.col1 = col1;
      this.col2 = col2;
    //add setter and getter methods
    //Inside bean, prepare a list with pojo instances (Assume a getter exists for pojoList)
    pojoList = new ArrayList();
    pojoList .add(new SamplePojo("Value1", "Value2");
    pojoList .add(new SamplePojo("Value3", "Value4");
    etc.
    //Inside jspx
    <af:table value="#{<Bean>.pojoList}" var="pojo" ...>
       <af:column headerText="Header1" ..>
         <af:outputText value="#{pojo.col1}"/>
       <af:column>
       <af:column headerText="Header2" ..>
         <af:outputText value="#{pojo.col2}"/>
       <af:column>
    </af:table>HTH

    how to integrate bing map for including or displaying multiple locations at the same time

    Have you aware of the geolocation field that's been introduced with SharePoint 2013?  You can store location data within a list and then integrate this within Bing.  The second tutorial on this Bing team blog will show it well.

  • How to remove a mapped drive

    Hi all,
    i created a mapping in my iMac pointing to a folder on my notebook with windows.
    When I start Parallels to run a Windows VM and my notebook is not connected to the lan, the system stays popping up a message saying "The connection fails, maybe the server Notebook doesn't exists or blablabla...".
    I would like to know how to remove this mapping because it doesn't appear on my Mac Desktop if my notebbok is connected to the lan, but when using Parallels, is almost impossible to work with the message popping up all the time.
    TIA,
    Alano.

    The drive doesn't appear on the list...
    That's the problem...I don't know where should I go to exclude this configuration...

  • JPA - Columns to java.util.Map

    I need to map the columns of a DB table into a java.util.Map object.
    Any idea about how to implement this feature?
    These are the columns of my table:
       | ID | Value01 | Value02 | Value03 | ... | ValueN |I'd like to obtain a bean like this:
    public class MyBean {
      private String ID;
      private Map values;
    }I thought I could extend java.util.Map and redefine the get(Object) and put(Object, Object) methods
    (I did something like this in java 1.4) but I can't figure it out in 1.5 with JPA

    >
    hi i have the following method,when i click my button am geting this error java.lang.String cannot be cast to java.util.Map
    >
    And that is correct - you can't do that cast. Which is what this code is trying to do.
    >
    (Map)actionEvent.getComponent().getAttributes().get("test")
    >
    Ask yourself what object is supposed to be the 'Map' in that line of code?
    Is it 'actionEvent', 'getComponent()' or 'getAttributes()'?
    My guess is that it is the 'getAttributes' that returns a map. Which means you need to cast
    actionEvent.getComponent().getAttributes()as a Map. Which means you need to put that entire thing in parentheses so that the cast is performed on it. And then you have to put THAT entire thing in parentheses so you can call the 'get' method on it.
    So this is the 'Map'
    (Map) (actionEvent.getComponent().getAttributes())And this calls the Maps 'get' method
    ( (Map) (actionEvent.getComponent().getAttributes()) ).get("test")If you broke the line into pieces and stored each piece in its own variable you would see it. These object types may not be right but should give you the idea.
    //( (Map) (actionEvent.getComponent().getAttributes()).get("test") ).get("test")
    MyComponent myComponent = (MyComponent) actionEvent.getComponent();
    Map myMap = (Map) myComponent.getAttributes();
    myMap.get("test");

  • How to integrate google maps

    how to integrate google maps in atg application ,suggest some points

    You can use google maps api for v3 if you want to integrate with java script or you can use google maps web services to integrate from java code base.
    Steps I followed to implement the store locator functionality using google maps in java script
    1. Fetch the address entered by user and call google geocoder service to fetch the latitude and longitude
    2. Use jquery ajaxSubmit to submit the form with the address latitude and longitude
    3. Fetch the stores near to the address entered by the user in the form handler and construct and JSON Response which contains list of stores
    4. Iterate over eacj JSON object and populate the marker and show them in the map. Add an event listener if you want to show anything on click of the marker.
    Let me know if you have any issues.

  • How to sor hash map

    what to do
    with regardsshannu sarma[/b]

    This is usual behaviour of a Map. You cannot sort a Set or Map. You can sort a List only using Collections.sort().
    If you want to use a Map which adds all elements according to the order you've added it, then use LinkedHashMap.
    And if you want to capture the keys, use Map.values() which returns an ordered Collection (and after converting it to List, you can sort it).
    Another approach is to create a wrapper object and put it in a List. Then you can use the java.util.Comparator to sort objects in a List.

  • How to enable document map in SSRS Report Manager

    Hi Team,
    How to enable Document Map in SSRS Report manager 2008 version.
    laxman

    Hi kumarj4009,
    As per my understanding, you created a Document map, it works fine in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS), but you could not view the report in report manager.
    After we create a report in Visual Studio, we need to publish it to a report server to make it available to users. In Report Designer in Business Intelligence Development Studio, we must specify the report server as well as folders for reports and shared
    data sources so that we can publish the items in a project. For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
    Right-click the report project, and then click Properties.
    In the Property Pages dialog box for the project, select a configuration to edit from the Configuration list.
    In OverwriteDataSources, select True to overwrite the data source on the server each time reports are published, or select False to keep the data source on the server.
    In the TargetDataSourceFolder text box, type the folder on the report server in which to place the published shared data sources.
    In the TargetReportFolder text box, type the folder on the report server in which to place the published reports.
    In the TargetServerURL text box, type the URL of the target report server, then click OK.
    Right-click the report in the project, then click deploy, after the report is successfully deployed, you can preview the report in report manager.
    For more information about Set Deployment Properties, please refer to the document:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms155802(v=sql.100).aspx
    If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

  • JPA2 Question: Is it possible to map a Map(enum, List String ) in JPA2?

    Is it possible to map a Map(enum, List<String>) in JPA2? Or do I have to create a separate Entity class that maps each List<String> collections for each possible value in the enum?

    No, JPA does not support this or any nested collection type of mappings directly.
    The best solution is to create an Entity or Embeddable to contain the collection data.
