JS: Get Control that has the Focus and paste something into it

Hi,
I want to implement some clientside code that gets the control that has the focus and copy some text into it.
Can this be easily accomplished?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get the focus element via JavaScript.
We can use the document.activeElement to get the current active element.

You probably have to go through a restore of the phone.
Plug the phone in and launch iTunes, then select your phone from the left side of the menu.
There will be an option to restore the phone and click that button.
That will erase and restore the phone. After it's done, it will ask you to restore from a recent backup, and you can choose to go ahead and restore.
You should be back up and running from there, but may have to do some minor tweeks to get yourself back up exactly as you left off. Some things like your visual voicemail password and email passwords may have to be entered again, but you'll be in good shape.

I want the simple calendar shown in the zeen manual that has the date and time on it. Where is it?

I followed the recommendation on another post to link my google account for the calendar. So now I have a full month calendar but I want the one that's in the zeen user manual that has only the date and time. Can anyone tell me where I find that exact one? I've looked through the apps download section and found all sorts of things but nothing that's a calendar. I think it was there before the update was downloaded. At which time I had to link my google account to get anything. Also, has anyone else tried to get anything android on the zeen and get the message that you don't have an android compatible product? Don't know what that means. I'm trying to get myself into the 21st century but I'm not all tech or gadget savvy.

How do I get the Apple tv to play out of my Bose speakers that has the typical white and red plug ins? Do I need an "optical audio" cord (that is what is available as a plug in on the back of the Apple tv that has the red and the white on the other side?

How do I get my speakers to play the Apple TV? My TV is recognizing the Apple TV and the sound is playing out of the TV speakers, but even though I plug my speakers into my TV, it does not play what the TV speakers are playing. Do I have to plg the speakers into the actual Apple TV unit? If so, do I need an "optical audio" plug in?

appletv play audio out of optical out of hdmi and the old alu one play out the RCA too
the typical the white and red plug ins would be RCA if you have a atv2 (the black one) you cant use
RCA as that is analog and optical and hdmi are digital
you can get converters but some would be pricy and could cause delay between image and pictures for video

What camcorder would you recommend to buy that has the firewire and ability

to upload directly to imovie? I have a JVC MG20 which is great but gave me all sorts of complications in adjusting/changing settings etc just to get it into imovie. Im now intending on buying a new one in the next few months which will make my life simpler and i would like peoples opinions and recommendations. The JVC i have now is a hard drive style which i like, dont want to mess around with dvd discs in the camcorder, much rather do my editing on the mac and make a dvd from that.

Really any Sony or Canon that has firewire and DV Tape...do not get a DVD nor a Hard drive camera, though. They are NOT compatible with iMovie at this time.

How do I print a label that has the artist/album on the side?

I have tried printing labels with iTunes but these are apparently for the thin CD covers. I am looking for a way to use iTunes to print out labels that has the artist and album on the side for use with regular CD covers so that I can look at the case from the side and know what CD it is.
I have a third party shareware app that does this but I would like to use iTunes because it seems to be easier.

As mentioned here, iTunes does not print labels for the CD jewel case spines. I do use iTunes to print the front cover insert, but for the back cover I use a different program called "MyCoverCD" (aka. MCCD).

This program can read the tracks names etc. from the current selection in iTunes and then print the back cover (with spines) or the front cover or various other options.

Hi, my free trial for Mathtype ran out but I still need to be able to write equations and copy them into pages and numbers for my coursework. Is there a free alternative to Mathype that also carries out this function? Or, alternatively, is there a way to copy an equation from the grapher app that comes with Macs and paste it into numbers/pages. Thank you.

You're talking about the logic board. The two most likely things to get toasted, with water damage, are the battery(it shorts out), & the logic board. The worst water damage would be salt water. I'm afraid your logic board is toast.

As far as I know, Sony Ericsson Z520, like a lot of the other cell phones, doesn�t support bluetooth serial communication.

BUT(!) You should double check this information.
If you ask me, we have done similar project.
We are working on hobby project � our robot use J2ME cell phone as on-board brain.
And there is connection between this small robot and Linux-based PC.
Communication was done via BlueTooth (in reality we use Linux implementation of BlueTooth stack and obexftp).
BUT (!) We use Siemens S75 for this communication.
I�m afraid that Siemens is the only manufacture, which implemented serial communication over bluetooth, embedded camera and non-usb socket.
Also there are some Motorola phones, which implement serial communication over bluetooth.
But � note that all Motorola phones use USB sockets and it will not be easy for you to make connection between such a phone and the robot.
If you need just connection between cell phone and PC, then may be USB is OK too.

Richard, I agree with you 1,000%. I wrote this in a forum a few weeks ago, when a user was complaining about Snow Leopard not supporting iCloud:

(P.S. Something else to think about: If you bought a Mac before October 2007 (when OSX 10.5 was introduced), your computer won't run iTunes 10.5 unless you buy an upgrade. But a PC user, who purchased their computer as long ago as Sept. 2004(!), can run iTunes without an OS upgrade.)
I got so angry thinking about this, that I ended up writing an angry note to Apple on their feedback page. After repeating what I just wrote here, I asked them to commit to providing at least the same level of support to Mac users that they do for PC users when it comes to their cross platform products (iPhone, iPad, iCloud, Apple TV, Safari, iTunes, etc.) And, really, is that so much to ask?
I wish I knew how to start a petition requesting that Mac users get comparable treatment as PC users. But then again, shouldn't that go without saying?
Please leave feedback about this revolting double standard on the Apple feedback page. They should be thinking long and hard about why their own customers are treated worse than the customers of their competition.

Baiscally the problem is that one comuter and one account has always been sued for eey persons itunes. Now if we want to be able to backup and use itunes on our own computers fro our iphones and such, how will all he data that is on our phones not be deleted once its plugged into a new computer? Also, is theere a way to get all the stuff on thw current itunes onto each computer, via differtn account name?

option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Thanks for the support.
