Jspx including html page rendering problem

Hello,
I have an jspx including an html page by
<f:verbatim>
<jsp:include page="/mypage.html"/>
</f:verbatim>
When running the jspx, Hyperlinks aren't rendered - everything else (text, pictures...) is! (browser-independed)
Has anyone an idea what's going wrong there and how to solve this problem?

Thank you! The problem was another:
The links were rendered, but with no color! :-( On some reason, I explicitly have to set the color of a link to get it shown! Don't know why! If I open the included page standalone, everything is there.

Iframe in bc app html page rendering empty

I have created a very basic bc app, which works on my partner site (where it was developed), but does not work on the client site I copied it to and authorized it (thanks to Mihai).
The app is simple a menu item with an html page that includes an iframe. The iframe is supposed to contain an html page from my partner portal.
In my partner site, the iframe renders correctly.
In my client site the iframe renders empty.
Is there some special way to add iframes to an html page in a bc app, that load content from other websites?

On our partner site, I have an html page (http://www.my_partner_site.com/EASE-app-id/html-page-name) which contains an faq module, containing various helpful stuff for the client.
The idea is that as we add more clients we will be able to easily install this app on all their admin menus and have the content of the faq in one place, so that updates to the faq on the partner site are visible on all client sites immediately.
Perhaps I've gone about this completely the wrong way?
It was working before BC made the recent changes to the menu.json requirements. Then I had to rebuild using an authorized app, but this is as far as I've got.
Any help much appreciated.

Including HTML pages

Hi there. I'm new to Flash but I've been working on a website
that came from a Flash template. Half of the pages are in Flash,
the other half are HTML (done in Dreamweaver). Is there some way I
can call out to the HTML pages and include them into the Flash
site? Most of Flash site is static with the main design and menus
remaining the same, but the link content changes.

I know how to do an include of an HTML page inside an ASP
page, but I am basically trying to do the same thing with an HTML
page - that is include HTML within HTML - but it doesn't seem to be
working when I test in a browser. It displays fine in DW though!
The only way to successfully create an include in HTML pages
seems to be to use the library method.
Here is my include code:

Flash button - linking to HTML page - weird problem

There could be a really easy solution for this, but I can't
figure it out. I have a simple button that links to an anchor
within an HTML page. Here the actionscript for the button:
on (release) {
getURL ("test.html#two");
when the button is pressed, the HTML page comes up but only
to the top of test.html. The '#two' is not passed to the URL .
Seems like everything after '#' is ignored. How can I get around
this?

HTML Page rendering using Meta-Data

New to Java and J2EE..
I am trying to understand a way that I can generate a HTML page using the Meta-data. I dont want to design/write JSP..
I would like to define the HTML page properties in a database table, and at run-time I would like to generate the HTML page using the information stored in the table..
Appreciate if someone can point me to the right direction...

Webcenter Tutorial 11g - MyPage.jspx Page Rendering Problem

Hi.
I have just installed the Webcenter framework updates to Jdev 11.1.1.2.0 and started to work with the Webcenter tutorial. I have installed the Webcenter schema, under "webcenter".
I have a problem getting my first page, MyPage.jspx to render the first set of composer components, i.e. nothing seems to display at all on my page, it is completely blank when I try and run the page. ( I have isolated my webcenter tags )
I get the following message in the Jdev log:
<MDSRestrictionPolicy><_updateMDSRef> An error has occurred while finding the page for the component with client ID layoutCustomizable1.
Can someone tell me why my page is coming up blank? Does this have to do with webcenter schema perhaps, or something in my tags.

Hum this has happened to me before. It used to happen when I used the pageCustomizable in a wrong way, like when I placed the panelCustomizable outside pageCustomizable, or when I forgot the Edit Link (or button) to go with the pageCustomizable. Hope this helps!

Include html pages with various langs in a jsp page

I build an internationalized web site with struts... it works great.
My problem is that i think it is not practical to use <bean:message ...> for large text pages (like "Terms of Use" page) - think of the problematic text value size of the attribute in the properties file...
So i build a "wrapper jsp" that include the correct html according to the user language, here it is://suppose i have terms_en.html, terms_ru.html, terms_iw.html files...

Is there any way to solve my problem?
I'm ready to hear any suggestions... if you have other way than include...

Yes, i meant to say larg text as a lot of words in a
page. it is quite hard editing text in a property
file, especially if i want to add some style and html
tags. i can't think of editing a page like the "Terms
of Use" in a property file, although i'm using "Zaval
Java Resource Editor"

anyway, do any one have an idia on how should i do it?Hi hi, I am also stucked by this problem. The pt I use jsp:include is to take advantage of the dynamic inclusion of content. Well and I encountered the encoding problem just like you.
I read (and as many have mentioned), page encoding is not carried to jsp:include. There is no work-around at program level (unless u open the file and write it to the output..maybe).
Then I found out the discrepancies of my PC and the staging server. They are of different locale, which leads to different result.
In my case, my PC is with zh_TW.big5 and the staging is en_US.UTF-8, so the inclusion mess up when i stage the programs.
So I change the locale of the staging server and everything works fine.
Let me guess in your case if you are using UTF-8 you probably need to choose a locale with UTF8. Please try if this is the solution for you.

Problem: FlashPlayer 10.1 XML and HTML-Entity Rendering problem

I have some problems using
childNode[0].nodeValue
and HTML Entities since updating my FlashPlayer from version 10.0 to 10.1
First some information about my system:
FlashPlayer: WIN 10,1,53,64
OS: WinXP (32bit)
Browser: Firefox 3.6.6; IE 7.0.5730.13
I am handling XML data which contains for example some HTML Entities like "<" or ">". A XML-Parser reads the nodeValue and puts the text into a HTML enabled textfield. Now FlashPlayer Version 10.1 does not display the text after "&lt".
For example the following text in XML:
<![CDATA[<ul><li>pressure < 250bar</li>
is rendered as "pressure". Debugging the application shows, that after getting the Text with
childNode[0].nodeValue
returns "pressure < 25bar" so HTML textfield interprets the "<" as a HTML Tag.
Possible Workaround: Using
<![CDATA[<ul><li>pressure %30C; 250bar</li>
and replacing it after reading the nodeValue with "<" solves the problem.
Ist there any other solution without changing my XML Contents? Can I tell Flash or my XMLParser that HTML Tags must not be replaced?

Investigate the problem, but did not become easier.
When calling external function used method "<invoke name="function" returntype="xml"><arguments><string>.....</string></arguments></invoke>" flashplayer remove from string value tag "CDATA".
This is as in 10.0 player so and in 10.1.
But after install 10.1 version string exposed decoding. All escape symbols convert to real char data.
Example:
"and WELL-FORMED</b></font> HTML"
=>
"and WELL-FORMED</b></font> HTML"
So as CDATA deleted is abnormal decoding XML data in the AS code.
Who ever can help overcome this unnecessary effect?

Set DOCTYPE for a self rendered HTML page using cl_gui_html_viewer

I'm dealing with HTML in ABAP and i' stuck with a nasty little problem. Perhaps somebody know's the answer and can help me out. Thanks in advance. (I'm sorry for my poor english)
My problem is:
I am rendering a html page in abap and display ist using a cl_gui_html_viewer.
Works fine.
But now in need to set the right DOCTYPE for the rendered html page.
If i add the DOCTYPE definition, my html page is not displayed, instead i get a display of the html-code??
To break it down to the root:
How can i add the DOCTYPE definition to a self-rendered html page?
If i add the DOCTYPE definition as first element of my html table, the html code won't be interpreted.
If i do not add the DOCTYPE defintion everything works fine.
I need the DOCTYPE definition so that the browser won't get into quirks mode and interpretes the html tag's right.
What i've done so far:
(Dynpro, container, html_viewer)
Load my JScripts (with load_mime_object)
Load my CSS (with load_mime_object)
Load my HTML:
-- lt_html TYPE w3htmltab
((-- APPEND '<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN">' TO ct_html.)) this line cause my trouble
-- filled the itab with my html tags <html>....</html> (set right url for Jscript and CSS)
-- Load my html table and get an URL CALL METHOD gr_labform_html->load_data
-- Load the url CALL METHOD gr_labform_html->show_url

I've "solved" my issue with a little workaround.
I created an empty html page with an existing DOCTYPE def and an tag like <!MYDATA!>
After that i filled 'l_merge_table TYPE swww_t_merge_table' with my tag and my html_data.
Loaded the whole thing with CALL METHOD gr_labform_html->load_html_document and now the DOCTYPE is set fully correct!
But i'm still interessted why i can't set the DOCTYPE directly? Anybody knows?

Hindi fonts not rendering in html pages

Hindi fonts not rendering in when html pages are run except the mangal and devnagri font.
Is that a bug or a problem which i am not able to tackle.
Mozilla browser shows error in console that (font download failed or The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range.
