Jstart never start in NetWeaver CE 7.1

Hello Members,
I installed NW CE 7.1, but had nwadmin was not working so I re-installed it.
Now, when I start sapmmc, then jstart.EXE tries to start but stops after 1 minute.  When I check the developer trace, end of it says:

-I could start the DB manually by "sapdb\<SID>\db\pgm\dbmstart.exe -d <SID>"
-I tried uninstalling and installing loopback adapter too, but no help

  • CUCM 8.6.2.20000 Pub & Sub DRF Local never starts when servers started

Anyone ever seen this? I'm running CUCM 8.6.2.20000 in my lab on Esxi5 VM's. Every time I gracefully shutdown the Pub and Sub, and turn them back on (this is a lab, hence the multiple on/offs) both Pub and Sub DRF local services never start. Never. DRF master starts, but not the two locals. I have to manually start them each and every time. Once they are started, no problems.

    Hi,
Can you check whether you have any expired CAPF certificates in CUCM OS Admin page --> Security -- > Certificate management. If you do have you can delete the expired certs after confirming that there are valid certs available on the same page. Restart CAPF service after that.
We could also find the exact cause from the DRF local logs
    Thanks,

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

  • Problems starting SAP NetWeaver AS Trial Version

    Hello Forum,
Here is the summary of problem that I am facing starting SAP Netweaver AS Trial Version (post suucessful installation). I am mentioning successful installation is because on the day of the installation, I could start the NetWeaver AS Server and login using user BCUSER and go into SE80 (Object Navigator). The trouble started appearing thereafter.
    Here is the summary -
When I dont have MS loopback Adapter activated on my Laptop, I get the following in SAP MMC
The dispatcher process thread begins but haves a status - cannot connect to the message server
When I install and activate MS loopback Adapter on my Laptop, I get the following in SAP MMC
The Message Server and Dispatcher Starts Off, After a while (a minute), Dispatcher status turns to Message Server COnnection OK, Dialog Queue Time 0:00, after a While (a minute), it gives a message and stops. After this point Message Server is shown as running and Dispatcher is stopped.
I am attaching the dev_disp for reference.  Obviously I think the problem lurking somewhere in the midst of Network Adapter Configuration - Please help me to resolve the same.

  • Trying to download the Trial of Acrobat DC but download never starts

Trying to download the Trial of Acrobat DC but when I get to the page that says "when your download is complete, you will be able to start using Acrobat" nothing happens. The download never starts.

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  Adobe Acrobat DC Pro/Standard and Reader: Direct Download Links | ProDesignTools
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

  • IPhoto hangs on startup - never starts properly

    Hi all,
I was going about my merry business, importing photos from my current holiday, when the infamous pinwheel of death appeared, seizing up not only iPhoto but my entire Mac. I left it for about 10/15mins while I made a cup of tea, but when I came back, the Mac was still frozen, so I rebooted.
Since then, iPhoto never starts, I get a blank white right-hand-side pane and a blank grey left-hand-side pane, and it crashes almost instantly.
I'm guessing it's something to do with iPhoto's underlying database, that it's corrupted or something, so my question, I suppose, is this: can it be repaired, if so, how, or, if not, can I get to my photos manually and start a "fresh" database?
    Many thanks.

depress the option and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild from the last automatic database backup

  • Itune download never start &''itunessetup is not a valid win32 application"

ok so i have tried downloading itunes 64 bit using IE8. didn't work
downloaded it using chrome: worked after a few tries
but then "itunessetup is not a valid win32 application"
i have read every single article on both problems and nothing i do will help it.
    i downloaded firefox
but the download just won't start
i have the same problems with downloading safari as suggested in other feeds

ok Apple Software Update stops at first 2.60MB of itunes download.
i know have IE8, chrome, firefox and safari.
these are my results from when i attempt to download itunes64:
IE8:download dialog box opens but download never starts
Chrome:download successful, but then 'itunessetup is not a valid win32 application" dialog box opens. i went into properties and hit "unblock but the same message appears again"
Firefox:download dialog box doesn't even open
Safari: stops at 85KB and download speed drops to 0 kb/s from 220+ kb/s

  • Internet Sharing never starts completely and gives IP addresses

    Hi,
I'm trying to start internet connection sharing and fail to. Here are symptoms: Trying to share connection from Ethernet through AirPort, enabling Internet sharing in Sys Pref, then Pref pane shows green lamplight and says "Opening your shared connection" (or smth like this, I run non-English version of Mac OS X), and never leaves this state (never start saying "Sharing connection").
While in this state, I've checked if IP address was assigned to wifi card, and that was not the case. Guessing this could be the reason, but searching in these forums and general internet gave me no answer.
    Firewall is not enabled, afaik.
What could be the reason of issue? Some errors with DHCP?
    Best regards,
    Petr

Yes, I've seen the cure in this particular Forum some months ago, (unfortunately I didn't bookmark it!).
If it helps, the pseudo router in the Mac always hands out x.x.2.x addies, which has been a bugaboo if you had any other x.x.2.x device in the mix, somewhere a few months after that discovery, some Guru here posted exactly what you need... sorry I can't help you more!

I hold my finger over the app I want to delete, but the icons never start to wiggle. What do I need to do?

You are pressing on the app, right? Are others jiggling? There are some system apps that cannot be deleted, such as phone, calendar, ipod, etc.

  • I downloaded adobe download assistant four times, however every time, it never starts installing.

I have downloaded the adobe download assistant four times, however, it has never started to install automatically. My task manager tells me that it is running as a background task, what does this mean? What should I do to gain access to the trial version of adobe flast CS6 professional?

Do you receive any specific error messages when trying to open the Adobe Download Assistant?  Alternately you can try the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

Ever since the new update I have had problems , first of all it kept erroring  when trying to do  the update but I  fixed that ,  now it just  says please wait with just the blue/grey background nothing else on it , then it says starting ... . and well it never starts the power button remains  blue , and the screen goes black and says no signal ( which my TV does) , so I  have checked all the cables/ changed the cables for new ones made sure its all in the right settings but nothing happens so i'm not sure what I should do next really , if you restart the box it just starts the whole thing over again  , surely if it was the cables or my TV I would not get the please wait and the blue screen ?
Any advice ?   Many thanks x

No SCART socket on the TV. Wow you must have a modern TV.   SCART is gradually being phased out as it's an analogue technology dating back to the 1970s.
Solution 3 has solved things for some people. I suspect in those cases the software just got corrupted for some reason so the only answer was to totally reinstall from scratch. It's no different to PC software in that respect. If the actual program data itself (rather than the user data) becomes corrupted on the hard-disk then it will never run correctly. You have to bite the bullet and reinstall the program again.
