JSTL: Currencies in other Locale than selected Bundle

The user can select a language on web site. Selected locale is stored in the user session and used to read text from corresponded resource bundle. Currency is diplayed as follows

<fmt:setLocale value="<%= locale %>" />
<fmt:bundle basename="bundle">
<fmt:formatNumber value="<%= new Double(line.getTotal()) %>" type="currency" />
</fmt:bundle>
I need to display content of a site in Russian, but product prices in Israeli Shequels, not in Russian Rubels (as the code above does). Could you post a code sample how to display currencies in other locale than the selected Bundle.

Questioning currency symbol LEI rather than RON for ro_RO locale (Romania)

Using java jdk 1.6.0_16 to compile my code in Eclipse. I have code that handles the display of currency values using Locale class in java. When using language = "ro" and country = "RO" for Romania, the currency symbol is LEI when I believe it should be RON, at least that is what a client in Romania is telling me.
Any suggestions on what I could possibly do to make RON the currency symbol or explain to the client why LEI is being used?

It's always nice to have sample code which displays the problem. So is this code okay?

System.out.println(nf.format(13000));So when I compile that as Java 6 and run it under a Sun Java 6 JRE, I get this output at the console:
13.000,00 LEIBut when I compile it as Java 5 and run it under an IBM Java 5 JRE, I get this:
13.000,00 RONI don't have a Sun Java 5 JRE to test with. However when I use this code:

RONYes, I agree with your informant that "LEI" is obsolete and "RON" is the correct abbreviation for the currency today, and I have no explanation for why Sun has things coded that way, but perhaps that helps you with a workaround?

Thanks for the reply - I think I've sorted it though and there isn't actually an issue.
The whole group wasn't receiving the NDR, only the group manager which I setup a few weeks prior. This is a new feature so it complies with certain RFC's, basically the group manager will recieive the NDR to let them know there is a problem.
Something to do with mass mailing and unsolicited mail.

Diagnosis
The calculated net price in currency IDR becomes greater than the maximum price ("99999999999") defined in the system.
Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
Check the following:
The exchange rate, if the currency differs from the local currency;
The conversion order unit --> order price unit.

Hello,
The PO value in IDR currency is larger than the maximum length the SAP field and hence the error message. Either your order currency or your company code currency must be IDR in the PO and the total order value is exceeding the technical field length limitation in SAP.
The best way ahead would be to break down the PO line into different purchase orders.

How can I create a filter that automatically copies sent items to other folder than "sent" folder?

I tried to create filter which automatically copies sent to different recipients messages to other folder than "sent". I tried many times with different setting but it doesn't work. With inbox messages it works fine.

If you want to 'reply' to an email, but you want the sent reply to auto appear in the same folder of the message you are replying to.
Tools > Account Settings > Copies & folders for the mail account
There is a checkbox to select: 'Place replies on the folder of the message being replied to'
then click on OK to save changes.
If you want all sent emails not just replies to got to different fodlers based on who you sent the email to, then you would need to create a filter which when manually run moves selected emails to specific folders.
So let the sent emails get auto stored in Sent folder.
Tools > Message Filter
click on New
give filter suitable name
Apply filter when: manually run
select 'match all of the following'
To is email address
Perform these actions
Move message to and select the folder.
Do not enable.
When you need to run this filter,
open Message filter.
enable only the filters you require
Run selected filters on: Sent folder on the mail account
click on 'run now'
Best used when you have several sent emails which you need moving.
Not exactly what you are looking for, but works if organising loads of sent emails.

PO is created in USD and thereafter GR and IR done. The payment of this invoice has to be done in
local currency RUB. In invoice the currency field is not open for change and hence payment in
local currency cannot be generated. How to make payment of USD invoice in RUB ?

Dear Experts,
We have a strange case, and requesting the SAP behaviour for this case.
The document (Invoice posted) in "SDR" special Dinar Rate (not standard currency), and the Local Currency is BHD - Bahraini Dinar, and wanted to pay in Foreign Currency in "EUR". mainted the payment currency in the document.
As far as I know system will check exchange rates for conversion from SDR - BHD and then BHD - EUR, so maintaining these two combinations are enough.
But strangely I am getting error while processing F110 automatic payment program, system is giving error "Enter the Rate EUR/SDR rate type M for 04.08.2010 in the system". Message No. SG - 105
I am facing this error after we upgraded to ECC 6.0 from ERP 4.7 in March 2010. Paying in EUR is rarely happens.

ERROR: Select Currency/UoM field for the selected analyzed fields

Hi all
I am currently creating Business Rules in GRC PC 10.0 for the Automated Monitoring Framework.
After completing the Basic Information page, I click [Next] and get to the Data for Analysis page.
If ever I select any field that contains a value for Currency or Unit of Measure, I receive the following error and cannot proceed with creating the Business Rule:
Select Currency/UoM field for the selected analyzed fields
Does anyone have any information/SAP Notes/documentation on what this error is and how to solve it?
Any help will be gratefully accepted.

Can't drag the currency key in local currency to the pool of fields not use

Hi everyone,
Hopefully you can enlighten me with this issue coz im trying to drag the currency key in local currency to the pool of fields not used (UCWB<Data Model<Data Basis<Data Model(TAB)) but nothing happened, i can't transfer it to the pool of fields not used.
Note:I came with this decision(transferring the currency key in local currency to the pool of fields not used ) because SAP prompt me with this:
The currency key in local currency is not required in the data basis. It is merely an implicit part of the data model
I really dont have any idea why i can't drag it to the pool of filed not used, i tried to look for some sap notes but i can't find one.

Actually it is not really an error, i just would like to pattern the configuration of our newly upgraded BI server to our BW server.
In our BW server, the currency key in local currency is mapped to the pool of fields not used. I can't seem to do the same in the BI server because everytime I try to drag the currency key in local currency to the pool of fields not used, nothing happens, it isn't mapped.

Voila, I need to backup my entire local drive (c Raid0 (2x320GB) to an other hard drive in my other local hard drive in Ultrabay tray. (320gb).
Total average data 50GB for the backup.
I need the step by step best practice procedure (include bootable mem stick, software, ETC). Please, help me, that procedure was rock solid, backup and restore !!!!
Note, I use Win7 x64 clean install W/O Lenovo feature.

What format is the external drive?
If you want to backup your iPhoto library (strongly recommended) then you must have a drive or a disk image formatted Mac OS extended (journaled)
If the drive is a format that is supported by the Mac OS for read and write then you can backup your photos by exporting to a folder on the esternal hard drive or exporting to a folder on your desktop and dragging that folder to the external hard drive
Without the details that you do not provide it is impossible to assist other than to tell you the correct way to do things

Currency Translation from local to group currency in AP /AR

Hi Gurus,
I have reporting requiremtents where in i need to show KF;s in local and group currency. I am using standard extractor AP_4 and AR_4. These extractors does not bring KF's in Group currency but only in local and document currency.
Can anyone tell me what is the best way to go about carrying out the currency translation from local to glocal currency for AP and AR.

I take it you mean the extra currency in the company code config (ie group reporting)
Just unhide the fields DMBE2 and HWAE2 from the extract structure and allocate a new infoobject to them - then add to eith your transformation or transfer rules/update rules and add to the cube

hello, there's a general regression in firefox 27 that won't allow files to download directly into a root drive. please try to create a subfolder (like ''E:\Downloads'') and set this as default location for downloads...
