My contract at Verizon was up so I decided to renew and replace my Droid with an IPhone 4S. I had them transfer the contact information at the Verizon store from my currently active IPhone 4 (an AT&T account) to the new IPHone 4S - this they did and its fine.
Now I want to duplicate whats on my iPhone 4 to the new IPhone S - so I went to ITunes and backed up my Iphone 4. When that was done I hooked up my new IPHone 4S to ITunes in order to restore the apps, photoos and all to the new IPhone 4S.
However ITUnes said the phone will not pair with iTunes??
Whta must I do ?

Instructions on syncing your iPad can be found here:

and in the accompanying documents linked from that page. Syncing your iPad with iTunes copies items, it doesn't move them. The only way apps would be actually removed from your iPad during syncing is if you had iTunes set to remove them on syncing, so check the appropriate settings in iTunes, set the book to sync as well, and then sync the iPad again.

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. Looks like your syncing pics on your computer to your phone. to remove it when your phone is sync to itunes, uncheck sync in the photos tab.

How am i able to get all my photos from my Iphone to my windows PC, I have done the import and there is still more photos i need to get off my phone, its a new PC?

I have just bought a new computer..I have an old Iphone 3GS, i would like to now put everything that is on my Iphone, onto my new computer. The new compter does not have anything on it at the moment.... but if i do a back up i dont wanna loose anything that is on my iphone, as there are many many photos, on it, about 2500 photos.
Is there anyway i am able to do this... Please let me know as soon as possible, I have already dont the windows import, but that only imported the photos from my camera roll, this is not good enough as i would like ALL my photos to appear.

When I sync my ipod classic with iTunes it deletes all the music on my ipod

Hi everyone, I have an ipod classic 160GB and when I try to sync it with iTunes to put things like TV shows ect it deletes all the music off of my iPod (which is over 400 songs) so I have to put it all back on using another program and then when I try to use iTunes again it deletes everything. Sometimes when I put podcasts on it just deletes the music but not the podcasts, or it'll decide to the opposite. Recently it deleted all of my music and videos and just left the podcasts.

It would seem that iTunes has encountered or developed an issue in the process of trying to sync photos to your device. The best place to start would be removing the iPod Photo Cache (thus allowing for a new version to be created).
Note: Deleting this folder will not remove the original images from your library.

I have purchased quite a few apps, including pages, paper (plus accesories) and keynote, the most expensive ones. Also some games, books, photo editors and others. Icloud is activated in both devices but only very few apps were passes into my new iphone. I know that some apps are not compatible with all the devices but a lot of them are. What do I do? I dont have to buy pages and keynote again do I? That would be an absolute crime and would make icloud uselles! Also, isn´t it supposed to save all my recently taken pictures in icloud and then downoad them into my ipad or iphone, or viceversa? An automatically, daily. Help please, I dont intend to buy everything again.

iTunes Match is not sharable across Apple IDs. The best way to get the music on her iPad is to leave hers signed into her Apple ID on the iTunes Store and sync via USB.

ITunes match deletes all my music from my iPhone (the second time now)

This is the second time my music app is empty. It shows all my songs in the cloud but i have to download all the songs again. Whats interresting is, i have to delete the albums first because there is no cloud symbol in "albums" and "artists" so i cant download "all songs" in an album yet. Then every song must be downoad again. Thats really wired and aaargh!!! What can i do? Nothing, right? In the settings app the number of songs also show up even after "deleting" the deleted songs...
