Just installed Firefox, and the page won't load. It says unable to connect. Already deleted and reinstalled and followed some tips on the website. It's still not working? Help.
I downloaded Firefox 4 on another laptop without issue (it has windows 7). I downloaded it again on another computer (a lil older with Windows Vista) and it wouldn't open from the very beginning. I fixed the firewall as stated in the help section. I also updated the internet connection settings as stated in the help section. I also deleted and reinstalled it twice, but nothing still works. :-(

When I turn on my pc and log into my account there is a message telling me I need to delete files. But the page won't load up anything to allow mw to do this. I am concerned I may have lost all my personal info.
I can log into other family members accounts but not mine.

ThanksYou only have to clone your mac when using certain cable modem. You don't clone your mac when using dsl.

Find the section that applies to your computer, and follow the instructions.
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC. -
When I want to get on my wifi I tap my wifi in settings but it just loads and says unable to connect. It wont let me sign in. All my family's apple products are working. Why is this happening?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I got my Imac and Trackpad in may so its new and the batterys have run out on the trackpad, so i have put new batterys in and its not even turning back on i have tried the batterys the other way round ( i used duracell) and still not working, so i put the old batterys in and it still wont turn on. I am getting so angry woth apple things, the make it sound better than it is and over pice it, i paid over a grand for my imac and it dont even come with a cd SLOT. Please can some one help!

I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions. -
Have checked firewall and network settings and compared to other computers running firefox. All is ok, but firefox won't load any webpages. This started immediately after it updated yesterday. No error messages.
Have been having problems with updates on serveral of our computers for a month or so. Previous problems have always been that firefox renames a file it needs by adding moz.backup to the file name and I have to search for the file and remove it. This time I'm getting no error messages.A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I upgraded to 3.6.8 and now pages won't load, connection times out.
I open Firefox on my desktop. Takes forever to load my google home page, or sometimes it says connection timed out. When I try to get to websites it either takes forever, or I get a message saying connection timed out, and/or the error message problem loading page. Has only started happening since I upgraded to 3.6.8. Have tried disabling add-ons but that didn't help. Nothing wrong with my internet connection. Use Windows XP
Do you use McAfee Antivirus/Firewall/Security products? McAfee released a security update that is blocking Firefox 3.6.11. This should be cleared up with the next McAfee update.

Web pages won't load but airport shows strong connection!

I have a wireless network set up with a wireless router transmitter (not apple). My wife's macbook works fine, but my son's imac has great difficulty loading pages even thought the airport icon at the top of the monitor says the signal is strong and internet connect says the status is connected. Web pages sometimes load fine, but about 80% of the time now, I get "safari can't find the server" or "firefox can't load the page" messages instead of a webpage (like apple or google). I don't even know where to start when trying to troubleshoot this problem. If anyone can steer my to a starting point to figure out this problem (or tell me how to fix it), I'd be extremely grateful! thanks!Welcome to the discussions!
Try a few simple experiments to check your signal strength.
On your wife's MacBook, hold down the option key and click on the fan shaped Airport icon at the top of the screen. Look for the Transmit Rate. Note this number.
Now do the same thing for the iMac. You will probably see a much lower number indicating that the iMac is not receiving a strong signal due to walls, construction materials and other interference. In this case, the only real solution will be to find a different position for either the wireless router or the iMac.
Another option might be to see if your wireless router signal can be extended. In almost all cases, you will need to look for a device that is from the same manufacturer as your router.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You need to turn the phone off and leave it in dry rice for 3-5 days. Then, plug it in and charge it for about 15 minutes and then try to turn it on. If it doesn't work at that point, it will be time to get a new phone.
