Just installed, speed from high to low?

So we just got ours installed a few hours ago, on first test download was 36mb/s and upload was 8mb/s.
Done a couple more tests and its now sitting on 2-3mb/s download and around 6mb/s upload.
Any idea when I can expect it to go back to my proper speed? The engineer who tested the line said it himself "you're looking at 40mb here".

Run the speedtest at http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ and after the test choose ‘Further Diagnostics’ and post the speeds and the profiles that this gives.
Check for incoming telephone wiring to see if there are any junction boxes that come into the wiring before it reaches the master socket and that have extensions wired off them.
Slightly different advice from Devon_Dave's: Reboot the router/HomeHub each morning until things are stable.
We agree on: Do NOT touch the modem unless things go seriously wrong.

SEARCH ARRAY AND COUNT TRANSITION FROM HIGH TO LOW

Are you by any chance using a cDAQ 9181 chassis?
If you are it might be a good idea to use the 4 counters internally available on this chassis.

When I click on the desktop icon I receive a pop up that says "The file iTunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes". I have no idea what this means or what to do about it. I can't even find a file on my computer like the one referred to in the pop up. I am currently considering keeping my old laptop if it is the only way for me to continue to access iTunes. What should I do to fix this?

What version of iTunes are you using? An .itl file is something that Windows uses, or very old versions of iTunes on Mac. The library file on Macs is now .xml and has been since late iTunes 4.
Is iTunes running ok without any problems after you OK that message? If it is, then you may be able to ignore it if you can't account for why you're getting it. But make sure you take backups in case something happens in the future.

I just installed flashplugin from multilib and it doesn't work...

Hey, I haven't experienced any problems with flash player square yet. Is it to "experimental" for the official repos? I've tested many flash sites and have yet to crash the browser. I think most users will not mind it in the official repos.

Acrobat - Conversion from higher to lower version - Problem & Bizhubs printing problem

My team developed a form using Acrobat 7.x that will be triggered from a portal - directly routed to a printer. (that is, a user can print the form directly to the printer just by clicking the form name - no need to open the form).
The form is getting printed in certain Laser Printers but its not printing in Bizhubs.
I suspect that the server that routes the form to printer doesnt have acrobat reader and uses Internet explorer as default application to open. I heard that IE is not much compatible with Acrobat 7.x.
So I tried to convert the form from Acrobat 7.X to Acrobat 6.X (using the Print option -> Adobe pdf)
The form gets converted to Acrobat 6.X but the form misses some properties.
That is, the form holds the Text boxes & text areas in it (in 7.X) when i converted to 6.X all these text boxes are no more.
Could any one please help me over come these problems?
1- Why a form that is routed thru server is getting printed in Laser Printers but not in Biz hubs. (Please note if i open the form in my machine and print directly to any printer it prints. It fails only when invoked thru portal - inturn thru server)
2- why conversion to lower version of pdf misses its properties.

Always use a version of the EXPORT utility that is equal to the lowest version of either the source or the target database.

Can I switch out a hard drive for an SSD without having to clone the existing hard drive, and then install Yosemite from an USB Boot Drive onto the new SSD?

Can I simply replace a hard drive with a new SSD and just install Yosemite from a USB boot drive onto the SSD? I recently bought a used MBP and it has absolutely no files on it except for the OS, and so I'm assuming I don't need to clone the current hard drive as I can just reinstall the OS onto the new SSD.

It's possible that the SSD will be set up for use on a PC, which means it will have a Master Boot Record partition table rather than a GUID Partition Table, which is what Yosemite needs. In Disk Utility, select the SSD and click the Partition button. Create a new Partition Layout and click the Options... button at the bottom. You'll likely see MBR is selected. Choose GUID instead and Mac OS Extended (Journaled) for the Format.

Thanks, but since iTunes will not boot, I cannot run that iTunes diagnostic. Just need to know how to reinstall iTunes (Windows XP). Do I need to remove the existing non working version of iTunes, or can I just install iTunes from Apple like I was a new user?

thats tough man, yeah exchanging it is the best option. Hello, i just installed a vertex 2e 90gb ssd in my macbook pro 13" (8.1 early 2011). But when i do a disk speed test i only get 125 mb/s write speed and 146 mb/s read speed. Thats under 50% of what i should get. The disk have firmware 1.35 and 3 gb/s linkspeed when i check in systemreport.
Anyone know why i get so low speed from my ssd?

Speak to the manufacturer. They did the bench tests.
