Keep subtotal and hide grand total

Hi,
I have an ALV whose subtotal should be displayed and grand total hidden. CL_SALV_WD_FIELD=>IF_SALV_WD_SORT~SET_AGGREGATION_ALLOWED calculate both subtotal and subtotal. How can I only display subtotal?
Thanks,
ts

Hi Kumar,
In the Layout, there is a parameter called "NO_TOTALLINE". Set this to 'X" and see if the grand total is hidden in your ALV display.
Also, in the SORT table that you build for sub-totals and totals, there are these two fields
comp(1) type c,
expa(1) type c,
Here EXPA is used to HIDE all the line items and displa only totals.
So, just check with these two parameters.
Best Regards,
Ram.

  • How to display subtotals in every page and the grand total in the last page

    Hello Abapers,
                         I am working with Smartforms. I am not able to print the subtotal in every page ie the Price for that particular page alone should be summed and in the final page I want the grand total also to be displayed. I tried the Total option in the Calculations tab but the value is just getting incremented on every page..How can I achieve this..
    With Regards,
    Bennet.

    Hi,
    Declare two different variables for subtotal and total
    Use them in the calculation tab of the table node.
    After displaying the subtotal create a program lines node to clear the value of the subtotal. And dont forget to mention the condition in the condition tab of the text node of your subtotal as only before end of main window.
    display the grand total in the text another text node with condition... only after end of main window.

  • My sing keeps freezing and skipping to totally seperate song! why?

    i bought a song recently and it stops in the middle and it either goes to the next song or two songs ahead. It works on my siblings ipod's and we use the same computer is there a reason for this and how do i fix it?

    I had this problem with my old 20GB classic ipod, it all started when I began using my ipod for my running trainings, every day it used to get worse freezing every 10 minutos or so, then I got ****** and bought a new 80GB classic Ipod, I have it for about 3 weeks now and guess what? It started freezing or skiping songs also. I did a test where I synced the same library on my both ipod and the songs being skipped on my new one wasnt being skipped on the old one, so its a problem with the song, then I though it could be any damage in the ipod HD but my new ipod has no reason to be damaged, the only impact that it might have recived is from my running trainings, but the impacts are really weak. Other test I did was trying to remove the song being skiped from the ipod, everytime I did that my ipod couldnt be ejcted, it kept showing me the following message "The ipod canot be ejcted because it contains files that are used by another aplication." I had to unplug my ipod without ejecting it.

  • COMPUTE function: How to get subtotals and GRAND total together?

    I am wrtiting a report using SQL and SQL*Plus to get subtotals and a grand total. The COMPUTE function allows me to COMPUTE SUM on a group, but it only gives me subtotals. I'm interested in getting a report with the SUBTOTALS and a final GRAND TOTAL. Can this be done using SQL*Plus?

  • Using Rollup to get subtotals and grand total - missing right pren error

    Hello,
    I am trying to create sub totals by person_id and a grand total row in my APEX report but I get a "missing right pren error." I finally figure out that I need to eliminate column alias names to fix this problem, however, I now get an ambigous column reference. I am making this change in my main SQL report statement, however, I was wondering if I should be using the "group by Rollup" somewhere else while using "Break Formatting."
    I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks
    leh

    Can you post the Query please?

  • How to get sub and grand total

    Dear all, I have a report which combines the two totals together and and makes one formula. This formula then is filtered according to Group2 (Reason Code).
    Group 1 is the same Reason Code however with Specified names. Group2 is the same reason code however with ascending order.
    My question is how to make the sub total and grand total of this formula.
    Detailed Information:
    1: Total One - DistinctCount(Order_no),GroupName2 -- In this Total, the records are counted when Linetype = F
    2: Total Two - DistinctCount(Order_no),GroupName2 -- In this Total, the records are counted when Linetype = S
    Formula
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar x:=0;
    Numbervar y:=0;
    Numbervar z:=0;
    x:={#FOCTC};
    y:={#CREDITTC};
    z:=x+y;
    z;
    Now this formula is placed in the footer of the Group2 (Reason Code).
    What I would like to do is to have a Group2 Sub Total and Finally Grand Total.
    I have tried the Following however it doesn't seem to be working.
    I created another formula exactly like above and placed it into the same Group footer however removed the "Numbervar o:=0;" (The numbervar z:=0; in the above case however when I created another formula I created named the variable "o" instead of "z") so that it does not reset it.
    Then I placed another formula into the Report Footer with the following code
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar o;
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks
    Regards
    Jehanzeb

    Ok sorted, I used another formula like this.
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar TJGs;
    Numbervar TotalJobs=0;
    Numbervar CAvg=0;
    TotalJobs := {@TotalFOCCR};
    CAvg:= TotalJobs;
    TJGs:=TJGs + CAvg;
    CAvg
    It sorted the issue.

  • What's the best way to create sub-totals & grand-total in SQL2008 R2 (and beyond)?

    What is the easiest way to get sub totals and a grand total on data that is being grouped?  It looks like RollUp might work, but it's being depreciated.
    My query is:
    SELECT
    COMPANY
    ,INVSTR_CD
    ,STATE_C
    ,SUM(CO_SHARE_TOTBAL) as CO_SHARE_TOTBAL
    FROM #ASSET AS A
    WHERE A.D_GETIT = 'Y'
    GROUP BY COMPANY, STATE_C, INVSTR_CD
    ORDER BY COMPANY, INVSTR_CD, STATE_C
    I need to provide a sub-total of the SUM'd field (SUM(CO_SHARE_TOTBAL) as CO_SHARE_TOTBAL), at the change of the COMPANY field.
    Then a Grand Total of all the SUM'd fields (SUM(CO_SHARE_TOTBAL).
    Thanks in advance!!

    If you post DDL of your table (only relevant columns) and some data and desired output, I may try to reproduce it. Did you check Jacob's blog post and the very last query? It does take a few trials before getting this correct.
    Naomi,
    I did try the last query on Jacob's post.  I couldn't get the first column to populate.
    Thanks for the offer of help.
    DML is:
    Create Table #ASSET2 (
    [COMPANY] [varchar] (5) NULL
    ,[INVSTR_CD] [varchar](5) NULL
    ,[STATE_C] [char](2) NULL
    ,[SHARE_TOTBAL] [decimal] (15,2) NULL)
    Data is:
    Insert into #ASSET2 VALUES ('00000','099 ','FL','115226.77')
    Insert into #ASSET2 VALUES ('22222','030 ','CA','309899.43')
    Insert into #ASSET2 VALUES ('00000','010 ','CA','524296.89')

    You told that you need to do manipulation on grand total so,add dummy columns and put grand total calculations on them and do manipulations on them to get manipulated value.

  • How to display grand total only on the last page of my report

    Hello
    I need to display the grand total amount of the invoice only on the last page of every report. If the report has 1 page then the grand total will be displayed on the 1st page. If the report has 2 pages then a subtotal will be displayed on the 1st page adding up all the amounts on page 1 only, and the grand total will be displayed on the 2nd page, adding up all the amounts of page 1 and 2. If the report has 3 pages then the a subtotal will be displayed on page 1 adding up all the amounts of page 1, and another subtotal on page 2 adding up all the amounts of page 2, and the grand total are displayed on page 3 adding up the amounts of every page.

  • Grand Total formula different from Subtotals

    Hi,
    i've a question. Suppose i have a normal table (No pivot) with 2 columns: Month and Salary percentage on Month.
    In addition i have subtotals on Month column and a Grand Total. I have a situation like this:
    Month Salary percentage on Month
    30
    January 20
    50
    January Subtotal 100
    20
    February 70
    10
    February Subtotal 100
    Grand Total 200
    In Salary percentage on Month field I have as aggregation rule Sum because i want that subtotals are the sum of single rows of the month.
    But i don't want this for grand total. It should be 100 (max of subtotals).
    Is it possible specify a different formula for Grand Total respect to that used for Subtotals?
    Thanks
    Giancarlo

    If your formula already contains any summarized fields then you cannot summarize that formula. Try creating a mannual running total like this
    whileprintingrecords;
    numbervar i;
    i:=i+@formula;
    Now place this formula in group footer or header and suppress this formula. Create a new formula like
    whileprintingrecords;
    numbervar i;
    Place this in report footer which shows the grand total.

  • Grand Total value displaying in all rows

    Hi All,
    I am facing issue with report data in one of my environment (OBIEE 11.1.1.6.2) ,
    Let's say I have env1 and env1 with report A (Union Report)
    In env1 the report is working fine.
    Col1--------- Msr1---------Msr2
    A---------------1-------------2
    B---------------2-------------4
    Subtotal-----3-------------6
    D--------------10------------1
    E--------------10------------2
    Subtotal ----20-----------3
    Grand Total-23-----------9
    the same report in env2,
    Col1--------- Msr1---------Msr2
    A----------------23------------9
    B----------------23------------9
    Subtotal------23------------9
    D---------------23------------9
    E---------------23------------9
    Subtotal -----23-----------9
    Grand Total--23-----------9
    The grand total value is repeated instead of row value in env2.
    I tried moving the reports around the environments but no use, I believe some enviornment level setting is the reason for this issue. (I have few more environments everywhere it is working fine like env1, the only problem is with env2).
    Could anyone give some suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Vino

    It is happening because of RPD corruption.
    Copied physical, bmm and presentation layer from env2 to env1 then same issue started occuring in env1.
    the following things worked,
    1) Created a new bmm and SA in env1 from env2 physical model, this worked fine.
    2) Copy the BMM from env2 to env1 - Let say BMM1
    Now recopied the BMM1 in the logical layer of env1 and rename it as BMM2 this also worked fine.
    Looks like the BMM layer was corrupted, don't know the reason why it happened..
    Thanks,
    Vino

  • Grand total navigation in pivot

    Hi Experts,
    Am facing a probem in Grand total navigation on union request.
    i created union request partname,source system name,sales and i created in pivot table.i did row and colomn grand total and now i want to navigate from this grand total to another request... can plz give guide me how to give a drilldown on grand total.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    It might not be possible to drilldown from GrandTotals in pivot table. May be you need to play with obiee by creating new columns explicitly for grand totals and thereon need to drilldown to another report.
    Interesting if anyone provides a solution for this.
    Cheers,

  • Grand total "before" on static table

    I can do grand total "before" on pivot table...but I need to do in static table. Is possible??
    With pivot table I have option "after", "before" but in static table I don't have any option...
    Thanks!

    Set the aggregation for the metrics.. Either in RPD or in report.
    In report, Open fx of column and you will aggregation drop down at bottom of pop up window. Set that to proper aggregation, and try grand totals.

  • Grand Total on Count Distinct - Crosstab

    Hello
    I use Discoverer 9.0.2.39.01.
    On a crosstab layout: the data point is a count distinct item ,
    I use Grand total at bottom and also Grand total at right.
    Both totals are displayed correct but the cell combining between them is blank.
    The join between the two tables is one to one and I use NVL on the count distinct item. how can I overcome the problem and cuase th blank cell to display the result of both totals?

    I'd just reiterate a couple of things to try.
    1. reverse the join - I realize you mentioned it seems to work for simple total, but this has to be one of the most popular errors
    2. check for NULLs in the data (ie: to_number(NVL(item, '0')), etc.
    If still not working, then logically, what would be causing a count of distinct items not to display (ie: NULL would explain it as I would think the COUNT would screw up with not knowing how to handle a NULL).
    By why count(item) would work and count_distinct(item) wouldn't is an interesting problem.
