Keyboard and all buttons won't work

HI,
so for some reason, all the buttons on my blackberry curve 8330 have stopped working. Not even one will input anything, including the mute button and the two side buttons. The trackball can still move the cursor around the main screen but when I try to click on anything with the trackball button or any other button nothing happens. I did the battery reset thing but that didnt help and I dont know what else to do. help!!

I'm having the same issue. My phone is locked, and the only thing it will do is light up (the screen will come on that is) if I plug in a charger or USB cable, and if I roll the trackball, the menu comes up w/ UNLOCk highlighted.
If i receive a phone call, I can answer it, but I can't END it...I have to wait for the other person to hangup.
I've done several battery pulls w/ and w/o the memory card in there.

my ipod touch fourth generation was working at one moment and then when i went to unlock the screen and type in the passcode it would not let me swype the unlock button and when i turned it off and back on again and the passcode section popped up it would only let me type the 1, 2, and 3 buttons and now it is not letting me type at all. - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. Could be the crack progressed to the point thtt portions of the screen no longer respond to touch

Send and reset buttons won't work on contact form

Hey, I'm using Flash CS3 and ActionScript 2. I've created a simple contact page, inside a movie clip (because I got it fading in and out), I've put the script on the main timeline, so not inside the movie, but the send and reset buttons won't respond all. I've checked the instance names and spellings are correct, here's the script I'm using:

ok, i've got the send button working, it was the script on the keyframe that controls the contact form, i copied the code from an older version of the contact file where the send button works. i've checked all the frames, and made sure there aren't any unnecessary instance names, duplicate or otherwise. only thing is the reset button still doesn't work.
another thing i'm not sure of, do i need to upload the swf and php files to a server, or should i be able to get a test email in my inbox if i test it from my computer without uploading?

Menu and Pause buttons won't work on iPod classic.

I've had the iPod for a while, long enough that my warranty is over. My problem with the pause button started a few months ago, it would go in spurts of working fine and working on and off. In the past few weeks the menu button has started to not work as well. As of yesterday they have both completely stopped working. I've tried restoring it to factory settings, syncing it over and over, and resetting it (which I can't do now because my menu button won't work). Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is it time for me to get a new iPod...

It might also be a good idea to let the iPod's battery fully drain. Then charge it back up and restore it once more in iTunes.
Otherwise, it's likely a hardware issue with the iPod's clickwheel, meaning you'll need to take or send your iPod in for service either via Apple or a third party repair service. Here is Apple's repair pricing.

Note that they don't actually repair the device, but exchange it for one of the same generation, model, and capacity. A third party service will actually replace the damage part for a little less. Google "iPod repair" and you should get a number of results to work with.

My 32GB 4G itouch's lock button AND volume button won't work.

I got my 4G 32GB on Christmas and about two weeks later the lock button and volume button just stopped working. My hands weren't even wet. How do I fix it and how can I restart it without the lock button?

You may need to make a trip to an Apple Store or other authorized place to have it repaired, assuming it's a hardware issue. If it's a software issue, you can try going to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. This will force the iPod to reboot and restore it to factory settings, but you will be able to get your data back from a backup. If it is a hardware issue, then it's time for a trip to the store.

Play, pause, and skip button won't work on lock screen

When I slide the little tab up and it gives you the options of the flashlight,calculator, and camera the play button and skip button don't work. I have an ipod5 and updated to iOS 7 how do I get it to work

Thanks for your help. I tried a restore but that didn't work. Do you know of any instructions for taking one of these units apart? I might try seeing if anything is obstructing the buttons. If not, the buttons are probably faulty, just as you said.

My touch pad and keyboard on my laptop will not work unless i how the power button for a minute while no power is hooked up.

The keyboard and mouse (touchpad) are separate devices which could go bad at the same time but that would be a huge coincidence. I would try reseating the ribbon cables to the motherboard for both. Here is the Service Manual:

Got the latest Itunes (11, I think) and now it says that 'Itunes.itl isn't working because it's a newer version of Itunes' and when I go to my older Itunes, the F7, F8 and F9 buttons won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, so I got the latest update and apparently it doesn't work. I had an icon on my desktop that wouldn't open because the 'newer Itunes' is apparently corrupt or something. Going into my applications, I found another Itunes icon and it opens up, but not the F7, F8 and F9 keys aren't working with it. I've already tried installing the latest version and that hasn't helped. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Refreshes to bottom of page randomly without prompt, and back button won't work unless clicked several times.

I've noticed that every time I open a page, I am automatically redirected to the bottom of the page, after scrolling up to the top I can only go a few minutes on that page before Firefox refreshes to the bottom of the page again without my doing anything at all. It's similar to when you're viewing a page at a certain point, and you refresh, it'll refresh back to the spot that you were viewing, only it's as if Firefox thinks that I was down at the bottom of a page I haven't opened before (in all cases with any website I visit), and it brings me immediately to the bottom of the page, and then several times when I'm simply viewing the page.
The other issue is when I try to hit the back button. You know those obnoxious websites that don't really go back unless you hit the back button a bunch of times, or go to the drop down back menu? EVERY page is like that now. I can't go back on most pages because if I go back to far, it goes to a blank page that I started on and then the forward button greys out. It's almost as if Firefox is having a laugh at my expense, but I don't want to give it that much credit.
This is most irritating when I'm working on Webassign.net, my calc homework pages cause Firefox to crash or freeze up anyway when I have to use their textbox with complicated math symbols, so when ti starts freshing and jumping all over the place while trying to input complicated equations, I usually just have to close everything and open Firefox again. I lose a lot ot math homework that way.

Keyboard lights up but won't work

I have a 2010 13" MacBook Pro with the 2.66GHz processor and 4gigs of ram. Yesterday when I was using it, the screen went yellow and the fan started spinning quickly so I turned it off. Now when I restart the computer, I get to the login screen, and the keyboard is fully illuminated but I can't type anything or move the cursor with the trackpad. Even my apple wireless keyboard and magic mouse won't work even though they normally would at that login screen.
I tried doing the apple hardware test and it said that there was no problem. The fact that I was able to hold down the 'd' key and get it to start the hardware test shows that the keyboard isn't broken, so I don't know why it isn't working.

If you press hold the power button for about 1.5 second slleep function will be initiated.
If ypu press and hold the power button for 5 secondsor more, Mac will shutdown.

I just installed iOS 6.1.5 and now my power button won't work

I found that my power and voice control buttons won't work on my new Macbook pro retina. I can't shut it down or restart it in any way. And Im afraid if I force to shut it down I can't turn on it cuz the power button won't work. What should I do? Any idea???

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
Back up all data.
Quit Facetime and Messages if either is running.
Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following item from the Library folder to the Trash (either may not exist):
Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in. Try the applications again. If they work now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
Step 2
If you still have problems, quit again. In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
com.apple.imservice
Move them all to the Trash. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash too.
Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
Log out and log back in. Test again.
