KMS Hierarchy, I was under the assumption that since I already met the 5 minimum clients for Server(Group B for Windows Server 2008 R2), that I wouldn't need to hit 25 client activations for the Win7 clients(Client
VL for Windows 7)?

Regarding your question, would you please provide more detailed information about your request? From your description, I suppose maybe you have misunderstood the meaning of KMS

KMS license activation issues client systems within child domains

KMS Server Setup:
OS: W2K12 R2
KMS ver: 2012
Multiple child domains including a single domain in which the KMS server resides. All client systems and servers are scattered across the child domains throughout the enterprise.
The new KMS server, running OS 2012 R2 and KMS 2012, sits within a separate domain. All systems will eventually get migrated to this domain. I have two (2) KMS servers I plan on using to accommodate the pending activations. From reading I think you're allowed
to have a totla of six (6) KMS servers.
I've modified DNS to include placing the two servers within a security group and granting that group Full control permissions on the new _svc record.
As of right now I'm able to discover servers and client systems scattered across the enterprise. I've also confirmed the ability to update license status on a number of servers.
When attempting to update license credentials on client systems I get the following error:
Unable to connect to the WMI service on the remote machine.
I've come across a few systems that I've been able to update, most sitting within the same location. So I'm a little confused on how best to troubleshoot this issue.
In addition I have a few Macintosh systems running a virtual parallel of Win7 that are also getting this error when attempting to activate.
I've had other instances where when attempting to update license status the office products will get activated but not the OS.
This issue only occurs on client systems so I'm hoping to get some direction as I've ruled out firewall and blocked ports as the cause.
Any response appreciated.

remote WMI needs a few things to work;
a) networking/routing (can the destination machine be resolved by name? can you route to the destination machine?)
b) permissions (is the account you are using to connect to the target, permitted or denied?)(is there a trust?)
c) is WMI and DCOM on the target machine, healthy/configured correctly?
d) can you successfully connect/authenticate to the target machine, using tools such as msinfo32, compmgmt.msc, "WMIC /node:computername csproduct get name"

JMS subscription stays active after the Flex client exits

Folks,
I have BlazeDS deployed in Tomcat 6.0.18. My Flex UI application
subscribes to a JMS Topic in GlassFish.
My problem is that the JMS subscription stays active after the
Flex client exits.
Can I add code to handle this scenario? Shouldn't BlazeDS pick this up
automatically when the TCP connection closes?

Active Directory: Kerberos Client is MOF based ETW provider.
Looks like PEF/Message Analyzer version which your using doesn't have parsing of events from MOF based providers.
We added support MOF based ETW providers in PEF/MA v1.0.2 . What is PEF/MA version your using?
Alternatively, you can use LinkLayer/Firewall Trace Scenarios to get the Kerberos Network traffic or other Kerberos Manifest based ETW providers for example "Microsoft-Windows-Security-Kerberos" etw provider if these providers produce any ETW events.

Why does my KMS host not activate a client in my network?

Dear all,
I am an administrator in a company and the office 2013 of one of my clients is not activating.
However, when I looked at the Event Viewer of the client, the client tried to contact the KMS host. However, nothing happened! The product is still not activated!!
Furthermore, I manually inputted the GVLK for Office 2013 Professional Plus so that the Office 2013 of the client automatically discovers and activates against my KMS host.
However, the client's Office 2013 is still not activated!
Could you please tell me what steps should I take so that the Office 2013 is activated via KMS?

License Activation After Installation of an Windows 7 Image

I have a volume license installed on a image that I am deploying to machines in my office. After installation of the image on the computer I have to reactive the license. Is this normal procedure of is there someway I can ensure that the license
is activated after deployment so I can skip this step of the setup process?

It is required that license activation occurs on each machine, after Windows is installed on each machine.
Every Windows license is individuated for every machine (a unique CMID is generated).
This is especially important for imaged/cloned machines. Are you using sysprep? Are you performing a rearm prior to image capture?
You can have the activation occur automatically. Are you using MAK or KMS ?

TimeCapsule stays active after backup (on Lion).

Hi,
I have been using the Time Capsule for more than 3 years. Since yesterday's upgrade to OSX Lion, however, the Time Machine icon remains on my desktop when the backup is finished and the Time Capsule remains active.
Is there a way to make it close once the backup is done (I had this problem when running on Leopard as well, but either I forgot how I solved it there, or the solution that I remember doesn't work on Lion).

Yes it is when operating properly. After shutdown, blue tooth on is checked yet the text message I get tells me that I have to turn blue tooth on. At that point, discoverable is no longer checked.

BPS Activation after Hierachy change

I guess client must have done changes in the hierarchy in R/3 or ECC side ,if so then when you load the data to BW system for hierarchy the changes are replicated directly in the system .You can check this in RSA1 t.code for the given hierarchy if the hierarchy is changed in BW system then go T.code BPS0 and find the Planning area using that InfoObject and check the variable used for the InfoObject and is it using the correct hierarchy mentioned by u r colleagues.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ? Hi Branko,
After the system copy, go to transaction SALE -> Sending and receiving Systems -> Logical systems -> Define Logical System , click New Entries and create a new logical system for your QAS; then go to SALE -> Sending and receiving Systems -> Logical systems -> Assign Client to Logical System, click on the client, click change and assign the new Logical system.
Other activities, check Jobs, RFC's, etc...
