Ko01 transcation

guy's can any one give me perfect solution for
the problem i am facing,
<b>issue</b>:go to ko01 transcation,environment>set controlling
area,when i go and set my controlling area as 0120,
and then i give order type ,it again pop-up
when window with controlling area 0110,but if at the
starting i set my controlling area as 0110,then it
won't pop-up any window.
issue is how and why these is happening,and is it
possible to stop these pop-up getting appeared
once i set my controlling area

Please close your other thread.
If you are doing a BDC/call transaction, do the recording of the transaction including the setting up of the controlling area. This way even if your input file has several controlling areas, you will be able to set it and the window will not pop-up.

I have some entity beans with CMR. I am managing these entity beans with a Stateful session bean whose transaction type is Container Managed for all its methods.
In one particular method of this Session bean I am calling two entity bean's create method. i.e I am creating two entity beans through home.create() methods. There are two home.create() methods one after another inside a try catch block.
I want that the entire operation be under just one transcation so i have also given the transaction attribute as Required for all methods of Session bean and Entity Beans.
However if i pass invalid parameters to second create method so that it generates exception then still the first create statement is successful and database is updated.
what i want is that the first create also should be roll backed.
How can i acheive this through Container Managed Transaction Session Bean?

o In CMT transactions are automatically rolled back only when RuntimeExceptions
are thrown. What kind of exception is thrown in your case?

Transcation and xa connections

Hi,
Once I declare a stateless session bean to use container managed transcations, the XA resources I will be using will be automatically initialized to use a global transcation right?
For example, I allocated a XA connection, and allocate a JMS queue using the XAConnectionFactory, the database connection and the jms queue operation will be under the same global transcation automatically (managed by the container) correct? Or do I need to manuly get/set the XIDs to them?

ST03N, make sure you are in Expert Mode (not Service Engineer)
Expand Workload
Expand Total
Double Click on the day you want to analyse
You can see transaction details under Transaction Profile -> Standard
You can see what tx a user has started under User & Settlement Statistics -> User Profile
If you are not seeing any data then speak to your Basis administrator about what they are doing with the log files.

User exits to update a Zfield in AUFK table for T-code KO01(Order Creation)

Hi all,
I have a custom field(zZTEST) in aufk and coas struture(zztest) in order to display in the output generated by kok5 for order.
The reason for adding in coas struture is the ALV output in kok5 uses coas structure
I know aufk table gets an entry while creating an order in ko01.
When i save the order (i.e when i succesfully create an order) i have to pass a value to aufk-zztest so that the custom field in aufk for that internal order created has an value.
I was looking at the user exits available for ko01
i found 5 user exits for ko01
Exit Name---Description
COOPA002---Customer function for master data maint. - internal
COOPA003---User-Defined Fields in the Order Master
COOPA004---Customer function: Print order master data
COOPA_01---Customer check modules for internal orders
KKAZ0001---Customer check modules for internal orders
I have written the code break-point in all the includes associated with this USER EXITS.
Out of this only only 2 includes gets triggered when i click General data and investments tab .
I have the code in both of them and the aufk tables gets updated when i save an internal order and i can see the value in kok5 output as well.
To be frank this is what i want.
But my only worry is that when we create a new internal orders we don't have any data to be filled i.e mandatory fields in General data and INvestments tab.
i.e. user can create an internal order without even going to these tabs(General data and INvestments tab) in that case the custom field doesn't get updated and as a result of that i don't see that value in KOK5 ALV output.
Let me know what can be done or is there any other way that this can be achieved or the way i approached is right or wrong or am i am missing any user exits and the system is at 4.6c.

Problem in creating Internal order (Transaction KO01) through LSMW

When I am processing the session of internal order creation (KO01) in background I am getting the below error.
Session FI_INT_ORD_C is being processed by user XXXXXX in mode N on server XXXXX.
It is running properly when I execute the session in foreground. Could you please help me on this?

Check in SM37 if any background is scheduled, if you dont have authorization for the t-code ask yor basis guy to look into it.
Try to see wht that background job is doing, and if possible, if you can hault this background job and then try your job

How to capture the Status code in Web application Transcation monitoring if we are using multiple Request

Hi Team
We would like to monitor 12 url,s which requires Authentication. Hence i have added the same in one Single Web application transcation template.
i have added the below info to the get the Stats code displayed in Alert
Status code is $Data/Context/RequestResults/RequestResult["1"]/BasePageData/StatusCode$
when i recived a alert it gave the Status code of the 1st Request
hence i changed the same as
Status code is $Data/Context/RequestResults/RequestResult["12"]/BasePageData/StatusCode$
But still i am facing the same issue .
My first request shows me a status code of 200, and my 12th Request comes with 500 but in the alert i get 200 but it should be 500.
Kindly help me in how i can get the Status code for the multiple Request.

Please run the test of your 12th Request, view full result and check if Status Code is 200.
Meanwhile, you can run the URL manually to check the result.

How to make Classification entry pop up while creating internal order(KO01)

Dear All
I need to have the characteristics values of the class assigned to my internal order POP UP during the Internal Order Creation (KO01)
I have activated the necessary config and the class , characteristic and characteristic value is able to generated successfully.Also, I have activated classification in order type.
I have make the characteristic value as Required Entry but it still does not pop up to ask me for entry, instead it just shows a general message as follows:
+Status changed: missing values for required chars in TM0000000002OR
Message no. CL500
Diagnosis
You want to save an allocation to a class with released status. However, the class contains characteristics for which an entry is required.
System Response
The system changes the status of the allocation to incomplete.
Procedure
If you want to save the allocation with released status, first you must assign values to all the required characteristics. Then you can set the status you require.
Note
The classification status affects functions such as the find objects function. You can define whether objects with incomplete classification status are included in the search result.
If the classification status of a configurable material is incomplete for an allocation to a class, this does not affect configuration.+

There comes an interesting problem for you, it seems very easy in code:

The codes above seems roughly right, however if you run it and you will find that only the last record is updated, because the parameters of SqlCommand are overridden by the latter time of loop, and all the previous loop's parameters are referring to the same
parameters of SqlCommand, so only the last time the parameters' values take action. And all the transcations are pointing to the last time of updating record.So my question is How
to make each updating statement takes action within the whole transcation (each updating SQL has different values of parameters)?

No.of Transcations in a Database

hello,
we are using oracle 10g on solaris 5.6.
How can i find out the number of transcations that are done on a database in 1 day or number or reads and writes on the datafiles in a day.

You can calculate the number of transactions that have ran since the last start of the database using v$sysstat statistic values but Oracle does not store the transaction count except as part of statspack and AWR snapshots. Depending on if and how often you take snapshots (and if you have a performace pack license) you could potentially use data from these.

try this inside your user-exit:
data: c_progn VALUE '(program name of transaction)<table name>[]'.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs> TYPE ANY TABLE.
ASSIGN (c_progn) TO <fs>.
In this way you can use table, structure or variable of program that call your user-exit a run time.

Screen exits for transaction KO01 (Create Internal Order)

Hi Experts,
I would like to enchane the screen of transaction KO01 by adding one new field.
I am able to find the enchacement names (COOPA003) and I have already implemented it by creating project in CMOD.
I have also added the new field in structure CI_AUFK of table AUFK.
But the problem is I dont know how to attach the new sub screen to this existing transaction.
So can any one please help me on this issue.

As I mentioned in my earlier reply go to SPRO -> CONTROLLING -> Internal Orders -> Order Master Data -> Screen Lay out -> Define Order Layouts
Select the existing layout and and double click on Position Group boxes. Here you can see a group box called "User Defined Fields".
First please read the documentation avaialable under the SCREEN LAYOUT option in SPRO. You will understand how can you have custom subscreens or fields.
