Kuler Panel doesn´t work

I´m trying to use the Kuler panel in Adobe Illustrator and when I open the panel I get a message saying:
Not connected. To continue, ensure that you are connected to the internet and that your preferences allow services to connect to the internet.
Since my computer IS connected to the internet and I couldn´t find any preference in Illustrator about internet connection, I have no idea what it ia talking about or how I can solve this problem
¿Has anyone encountered this problem? ¿Any idea how to solve it?

Did you repair your permissions or tried this You don't mention what platform I guess Windows,
I am not ceertain tha this is the correct path for your version of Windows they chang it each version
1. Quit Illustrator.
2. Rename the AIPrefs file (for example, to AIPrefs.old) in the Users/(user)/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS5 Settings folder.
3. Start Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.
1. Quit Illustrator.
2.Go to User/username/Library/Preferences/ Adobe illustrator CS5 Settings and trash the settings folder, the whole folder not just the contents of the folder..
3. Start Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

When you are saying that the edit effect panel doesn't work, Do you mean there is nothing in the panel (It is an empty panel) or there are items but when clicked nothing is happening ?
Also, Is it the case with Edit Effect panel only or other panels are also behaving in same way ?

What do you mean with if it doesnt work?
If you try to install a newer version of Toshiba Value Added Package you should remove the old version first. Reboot the notebook and install the newer one.
Last but not least try to update the BIOS. You can find it on the Toshiba website:

Remote panel doesn't work

I am using 2011 SP1 version of LabVIEW, toolkits and add-ons. I am trying to make the following remote panel opening VI work.
This used to work well on LabVIEW 8.5 but now I get an Error 7 from the last Invoke Node of the second loop. The top loop works fine. HPAC Main.vi is running as a startup VI on the RT target (PXI-8106). I can open its front panel using this VI. But the second loop can't open ST_viewer 1.vi. File names and paths are all correct. For building HPAC.rtexe, on the Source Files tab, HPAC Main.vi was chosen as a startup VI while ST_viewer 1.vi was put in the Always Included box. The VI server of the PXI is using TCP/IP port 3363. The PXI is directly connected to this host PC by an Ethernet cable.
I also made a very simple project (attached file named ServerTest), deployed its rtext to the PXI and ran it as startup. After rebooting, I tried to open the remote front panel of main.vi and sub.vi on the PXI using access.vi. I get the following errors at the Invoke Nodes.
For trying to open main.vi > Error 1352: Requested VI is not loaded into memory on the Server Computer
Fro trying to open sub.vi > Error 7: File not found......
As suggested in the article, Real-Time System Manager seems useful but I can't find it. Tools > Real-Time Module > and then I can't find the system manager. I only see Project Wizard, Configure Time-triggered Network and Execution Trace Toolkit. Does 2011 version have something else?
Any help will be appreciated!

Thank you, JaymeW. I found the VI States tab in the Distributed System Manager. And yes, all the steps in that article were already done.
If I set sub.vi as a startup VI on the PXI along with main.vi, then I can open it using the same method that opens main.vi. However, if I put sub.vi in Always Included box on Source Files tab and use the VI server to open it, I get errors.
On the VI States monitor, I see main.vi running as a startup VI on top level when I turn on the PXI. Then, I run access.vi and open main.vi successfully. When I click the sub.vi open button, sub.vi appears on the monitor with Run Top Level status but I get error messages.
At the first attempt to call the remote front panel of sub.vi, I get:
LabVIEW: Resource not found.
An error occurred loading VI 'lvfpp0.vi'.
LabVIEW load error code 3: Could not load front panel.
From the second call, I get:
Error 1000 occured at Invoke Node in access.vi
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: The VI is not in a state compatible with this operation.
Method Name: Run VI.
Could you take a look at the attached simple project and suggest a solution? Thank you!

There are an increasing number of posts in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a resets on different printers. The reset itself will sometimes fix problems, so the reset is not the issue.
Some resets require you to enter button combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were never meant to access. These special menus are used by the developers and support personnel for debugging issues, but they are not meant for untrained users and can have unintended results. One wrong button push and you no could no longer have a printer, but instead a pricey paper weight. To top it off, if you do happen to "brick" the printer this way, it is considered customer induced damage, and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only meant to be given out and used as a last resort, and under direct instruction of a HP tech support representative. They should not be done lightly!

I have a perplexing problem, in firefox the iframe in the spry tabbed panel doesn't work any ideas?

I have made a page with spry tabbed panels, i have embedded an iframe in the content section of the second tab, this works perfectly well with Google, IE, Safari, Opera etc but just doesnt work in Firefox.
If I make the tab panel containing the iframe the Default tab then it works, i just cant figure out why,

If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

Spry Tabbed Panel doesn't work

I have a spry tabbed panel on my site. The tabs contain
information, but you cannot open the tab. I can set the default
tab, and the info is there, it just won't allow me to open the
different tabs. Code is below:

I am not sure about the generic statement about "some
problems not allowing it to validate. if you sort those". Can you
be more specific. I have had a number of problems with spry panels
that won't open. The spry menus work fine on the site.

Kuler API doesn't work with Windows 8 apps

Hi, I've been trying to get the Kuler API to work with my app for Windows 8 (I'm using C# and XAML). For example:
string feed = await client.GetStringAsync("https://kuler-api.adobe.com/rss/get.cfm?listType=" + type + "&itemsPerPage=" + items + "&timeSpan=" + timeSpan + "&key=" + key);
However this throws a Http Request Excepion and tells me: "The server committed a protocol violation. Section=ResponseHeader Detail=CR must be followed by LF".
This request worked absolutely fine a while ago but now it throws that exception. If I paste the url into a web browser like Chrome it works fine because Chrome ignores errors like this. Is there any way of fixing this problem? Thanks.
Edit: if the issue can't be resolved, can anyone give an update as to when the new API system is going to be in operation? I haven't heard anything since May and it's now July.

There has been a change in where Firefox searches for plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is no longer scanned for plugins, so Firefox won't find them anymore if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the "browser\plugins" folder that Firefox now scans.
You can set the plugins.load_appdir_plugins pref to true on the about:config page to make Firefox scan the "<install>/plugins/" directory for plugins like the WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll).
You can alternatively move plugins from "<install directory>\plugins\" to "<install directory>\browser\plugins\" (create this folder when missing) to make Firefox find them again.

LV8.0 Auto-print front panel doesn't work

On the front panel in VI Properties/Print Options the 'Automatically print front panel every time VI completes execution' is cleared when you exit the VI Properties dialog and return to it. Consequently, you can't get the front panel to print by checking this option.

You're absolutely right. That functionality is faulty. A work around may be to use the operate>>print at completion function. FYI: if you enable this property, the VI Properties/Print Options the 'Automatically print front panel every time VI completes execution' turns black. R&D is aware of both of these problems. VISA Test Panel doesn't work on Non-Developer Environment

I'm trying to make an executable to be installed on other machines. I have included VISA support and NI MAX along with the runtime environment software. In order to see how flexible my code needs to be, I'm trying to use NI MAX to see how to read/write to the different instruments. However, the VISA Test Panel button is completely grayed out and cannot be clicked. While it is not working, I've been using Hyperterminal, but I need more details than Hyperterminal can provide (but NI MAX can). I can see the COM Ports correctly and they can be written to/read from using LabVIEW (it's the output format that I need to know).
I'm using LabVIEW 2013, but it also happened with LabVIEW 2012 SP1 f4.

LabVIEW is definitely relevant in this case: it was installed using an installer BUILT IN LabVIEW.
But installing the full version of NI-VISA worked.

Applying with panels doesn't work

Hi,
I've had this problem for a while now and no update seems to solve it. When i try to apply a style / color or anything by first selecting and then clicking on the panel nothing happens.
For example, I create a text box with a filler text, select all, and try to apply a paragraph style I just created by clicking on the style in the paragraph style panel. Nothing happens. It's the same for all other panels.
I'm on a brand new Mac Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.6 with Indesign CS5 freshly installed (Dutch language version). The problem, however, trancends this system since I experience the same behaviour on my Macbook also running Snow Leopard 10.6.6.
Is this a known issue (I have searched this forum and nothing similar turns up)?
And more importantly can it be fixed...

No, it's not normal or a known issue. Are you patched to 7.0.3? You said updates didn't help, but ti wasn't entirely clear if you meant to ID or the OS.
Have you tried replacing your preferences? See Replace Your Preferences

How can I uninstall firefox when the add/remove programs in control panel doesn't work, nor does opening it in the run command?

I tried to uninstall firefox using the control panel, add/remove programs. When I click on remove it does nothing. Then I tried using run, firefox, uninstall, helper and this does nothing either. Is there another way to remove it or repair it? I am using windows xp not 2000.

What is your problem with Firefox, re-installing Firefox does not normally fix problems.

Exchange Panel doesn't work with CC

I installed CC right now, with the "Exchange Panel" right away from the new Cloud installation tool,
but inside PS CC the Exchange Panel says:
"Update Now
The Adobe Exchange update is now available...
...Please launch the Creative Cloud app and click the Update button for Photoshop CC"
And I can't do an update because I installed right away...
Cloud app says - everything is updated.
I also tried to install the exchange panel from the website,
but it seems like this is not compatible with cc extension manager,
it says that it has no valid signature...
Please AdobeGuys fix it.

I ended going to the old Adobe Extension Manager (for Win8 it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CS5) and putting an "X" at the beginning of the folder. So now it looks like"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\XAdobe Extension Manager CS5".
then I rebooted the desktop after that the CC version was recognized.

"Log In" button doesn't work

Hi, I downloaded the latest version of the DPS Desktop Tools (CS6- v29 for MacOS) and since then my "Log In" button in the Folio Builder Panel doesn't work, I click on it and it doesn't show me the "User/Password" window.
I've restart my computer, reinstall the file and keeps without working. What can I do?

The surest fix would probably be to re-install InDesign.

HAVE SOUND- FRONT PANEL DOESN'T WO

hmmm, okay. Last night I installed the "Beta" driver and the EAX driver. I now have sound but my front panel doesn;t work. For some reason XP doesn't see the panels devices properly and lists all of them on the panel board as UNKNOWN devices. Is there some other driver set I need to install the front panel?

Unfortunately, the "Run VI" method only executes the vi and it will not open the front panel.
If you want to open the front panel, use the "Open FP" method, which is also located on the same class.
