L_TO_CREATE_DN for quantity that is over outbound delivery quantity.

Hi all,
I use l_to_create_dn to create to's for shipments. If the qty entered is lower then the quantity needed all works fine because the option komim is used in the call. The quantity is updated to the quantity the was put in t_delit. The problem is, if m'I quantity is higher than the outbound delivery the exception 15 is returned. The customizing is done for batch split.
I saw that there's an oss note 855729. But I'm not convinced that it will help the situation.
Regards!
Curtis

Hi all,
I implemented the note and this does not correct m'I problem.
The exception 15 is raised if qty picked is greater the outboud delivery qty.
No userexit, no enhancement available.
Please help.

  • Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity

    Hello Experts,
I received an error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA" when I first tried to create delivery using sales order. Well the reason for the error log was because of the CMIR record maintained in the system with min quantity set as 20 (Ordered Quantity = 10 in the sales order).
After realization, I did delete the CMIR record and then tried to create delivery for the same sales order but I'm still receiving the same error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA".
How can I overcome this issue.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Hegal,
    Thanks for your quick response.
But I've one more question regarding the same error log.
Initially the Ordered Qty was 10 and CMIR record was with 20 and it gave me a error log (which works as expected).
I deleted CMIR record and it still gives the same error log "Delivery quantity is less than minimum delivery quantity 20 EA".
Later when I increased the sales order quantity to 20 or more, I'm not getting any error log even though CMIR record is not maintained in VD52. This is something which is unusual and I feel there is some place in the file where this information is stored and later compared against the sales order quantity.
This is something which I would like to know for my own understanding.
I did ask user to delete the sales order line item and reenter the same product and now everything is working as expected.
    Thanks

  • Control Over Outbound Delivery/ System based release strategy for Outbound

    Dear Padma
Go to material master and check what availability check you have maintained.  Then go to OVZ9, select that availability check with the combination of  "A" and execute.  There tick the box Include sales reqmts  so that stock will be reserved whoever creates the order first.
In your case, if Sales Employee A creates the sale order first and stock is available, then stock will be reserved for that order only and it cannot be diverted to subsequent orders, unless the first created sale order is deleted.
In this, there is also one constraint.  Even if order is not confirmed by customer, some sales people will create a dummy sale order and reserve the stock for them.  So in that way, some control should be there in such a way that orders can be created by any sales persons but the deletion option can be given to some higher officials.  This basis can very well do.
    thanks

  • Where to Authorization check for the plant while creating outbound delivery

    Hi Experts,
For outbound delivery , the standard program is not doing the authorization check .
    Can i use BADI       *LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC *        and the method :     DELIVERY_FINAL_CHECK
    To write Authority-check statement ,
If the particular is not authorized for any of the plants of the items in the outbound delivery i will throw a error message
    Can i use as above?
And if i use it has to apply only for outbound delivery?Because for inbound delivery also the same BADI is getting triggered?
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    Ramakrishna L

    Hi,
Yes you can use the said BAdi and the method if it is triggerd before the SAVE of the Outbound Delivery Order to do the Authorisation Check. In case the code is triggered for all the orders and you want only to restrict for the Outbound Delivery, then check for the Delivery Type (LFART) from the Delivery Header table for only the Outbound Delivery Order.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hi
No, I am not having any release procedure.
Yes, I have picked the qty in VL02N
In vendor master, I have assigned the supplying plant to vendor.
Actually, i have created the plant as vendor and assigned it to itself.
Its not a error message. plz see the message.
Document 0080016192   does not contain any selectable items
    Message no. M7064
    Diagnosis
The document or document item entered cannot be adopted.
    Possible reasons for this are:
The document items have already been processed
    (Suggest zero lines indicator set?).
the document items have been deleted or are blocked.
the document items have been created for a different plant.
(for reservations only) movements are not yet allowed for the reservation items.
(for reservations only) the document items are retrograde components of the order. These are posted using the order confirmations.
A confirmation must exist for the document items.
The document items must be released first.
The document is an R/2 document.
    Procedure
Make sure your entries are correct.
If the system has already processed the total quantity, you can set the Suggest zero lines indicator. The system will suggest the quantity zero for the items that have already been processed.
If you have entered a particular item, cancel the item. If you do not enter an item, the system searches all of the open items in the document.
If the document is a purchase order, production order or a reservation, you can enter search criteria in the dialog box.
You access the dialog box by choosing Enter with reference on the initial screen.
If the document is an SAP R/2 document, you have to cancel it manually by entering the reversal movement type.

  • Need a FM for change delivery quantity

    Hello,
I need a FM to update delivery quantity, I have look for the BAPI BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC but I didn't find how it works.
    Any help are welcome
    Frédéric

    Hi,
I need a SAP FM to update the delivery quantity and the pick quantity, if pick quantity is different than the delivery quantity. I tried SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING and WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE_2. Both FMs update pick quantity (even it is different from delivery quantity - strange - online doesn't allow that), but not delivery quantity. Eventhough I pass delivery quantity in LFIMG field of vbpok structure.
I need it quite urgently, anyhelp? Thanks,
    Regards,

  • User Authorization for Outbound Delivery

    Hi sap gurus,
I want to restrict sales document delete option for selective users in vl02n(outbound delivery). Can anyone tell me. How to do this?
    Warm Regards,
    Vinodh Rajendran
Edited by: Vinodh Rajendran on Jul 27, 2009 8:30 AM

    Hi,
    Check with your BASIS person.
They will provide/delete authorisations for a specific Transaction.
SUIM is the T.Code for checking roles of a Transaction code.
In SU01,by entering the user name one can delete that role for the user.

  • Enhancement to change the quantity while creating outbound delivery

    Dear All,
Is there any enhancement to change the Actual Quantity while creating the Outbound delivery.
I have tried using the BAdI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC in the method CHANGE_DELIVERY_ITEM. But i am not able to change the quantity. In the runtime it allows me to change the quantity. After saving the document the quantity is not changed.
I do not know what all are the parameters and fields to be passed to change the quantity. If anyone knows please help me.
Anyone guide me to do this requireemnt.
    Thanks & Regards,
    M.Ashok kumar.

    Hi Ashok,
I have a similar issue, i have done the same as you did by changing the fields LFIMG_FLO and LGMNG_FLO.
But though Delivery qty is getting update but picking qty is remaining the same.
Suppose when user give Delivery qty as 8 and Pick qty as 8, i am able to change the delivery qty to 5 but not Pick qty to 5.
can you please let me know how to acheive it.

  • Partial cancellation in outbound delivery

    Dear expert,
I PGI an outbound delivery, quantity 1000 kg. But I want to PGI only 700 kg, I want cancel it, only 300. Can I do this?
If not, I must cancel all 1000 kg, then PGI again 700 kg, It has to many step. Can I make a partial cancellation?
    Please show me.
    Thank you in advance!
    Hongdm.

I want to know whether we do only partial reversal 300
I have already answered to this query
Once a delivery is PGId for any quantity, then it cannot
be corrected and it has to be reversed
You have to follow the standard process only; that is VL09 and VL02N.

  • How to restrict the delivery quantity not more than target quantity?

    Dear Gurus,
How to restrict the delivery quantity not more than target quantity in a scheduling agreement? I think there are 2 methods.
    1. I found that setting 0 in Overdelivery Tolerance Limit in Info Record is not effective. Why?
    2. I want to set E for the message but can't find the place. The message is generated when entering and saving quantity as delivery quantity that is larger than target quantity. How can I set E to a message (067, as I remember)
Any other effective method? Please advice. Thanks.
    Regards,
    David

    Dear all,
It is not OK after checking everywhere you mentioned. I tested in 2 clients. In the development enviroment client, it works whatever E or W. In test enviroment, it does not work (meassge is W).
I think there must be somewhere besides of those you menetioned.
I notes that SAP help for the overdelivery tollerance setting of scheduling agreement:
    Overdelivery Tolerance Limit
Percentage (based on the order quantity) up to which an overdelivery of this item will be accepted.
    Dependencies
If you have set the indicator in the Partial delivery/Item field to 'D' (partial delivery allowed), this takes priority. It makes no sense to define a tolerance limit for overdelivery in such case.
Where can I see: 'the indicator in the Partial delivery/Item field to 'D' (partial delivery allowed)'? I want to check it.
    Pls help! Thanks.

    David
