Launching iStore from jDeveloper gives Application Error

Hi All,
Launching iStore from Jdeveloper gives application error. I am new to this arena. Here is the actual description.
We are on 11.5.9 system however applied the RUP1 of Sales and Marketing for 11.5.10 which inturn gave us the 11.5.10 iStore.
I am using jDeveloper 10g with J2SE 1.4.2_06 as per the instruction. Intially all the test files for db , session worked fine as per the suggestions from oracle Metalink Note# 419887.1 . I could also load the login page initially though upon entering the login details it gets me to the same application error page. After some clearning of cache files and reloading the jdeveloper this time it does not even take me to the login page and gives the application error message.
Here is the acutal message : The application is currently not available or an unexpected error has occured. Please try again later.
If this message persists, please contact the system administrator.
I can login to the UI from the actual server but not sure why it does not work from the jdev. Please guide me and let me know what went wrong. Here is the sample guest log file.

I assume at least one of the ctm_config.txt files became corrupted.
have a look at the file ctm_config.txt in both these locations:
    NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/campus/WEB-INFlib
    NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/cmapps/WEB-INF/lib
and compare the content to the clean files Joe posted in this thread:

Note: the parameter DYNAMIC_PORT_ALLOCATION=0 can be added to both files;
If your files (or at least one) are different, then stop the daemon manager. When services are stopped, replace the corrupted file with the one Joe posted. Also move the ctmregistry and ctmregistry.backup files in these directories to a location outside NMSROOT (like C:\Windos\tmp)
Restart the daemon manager.
If everything is working you can remove the ctmregistry and ctmregisry.backup files you previously moved to C:\Windows\tmp

HT2515 Can't launch iChat from dock or applications/finder, it won't open to set up new account. Suggestions?

If you go to Applications and click iChat once to highlight can you then do a Get Info ?
Apple/CMD ( or ⌘) and the i key together.
This will bring up the Info panel
Which version of iChat does it say it is ?
At OS X 10.7.3 it should be version 6.0.1
If this is OK then close the panel
Go to the Finder > Go Menu and hold th ALT key down - then Select Library from the list.
Open the Preferences folder.
Find com.apple.ichat.plist and com.apple.ichatAgent.plist plus th ones with AIM and Jabber in the File names.
Drag them all to the Trash
Restart iChat.
If iChat is NOT at version 6.0.1 then download and reinstall the COMBO version of the OS X 10.7.3 Update over what you have. (this should Update iChat)

I get this strange JScript error dialog everytime when i go launching an Web Start application from my PC XP PRO SP2 JRE6u1..
i have reinstalled Java several times and reinstalling wont help..
this error message dialog is getting a bit annoying and i really want to remove it from my .jnlp web starts..
my knowledge of computers and java is not strong enough to help me carry why running an .jnlp file causes an JScript error..

When Java Web Start starts up, it tries to determine the Proxy Settings from either the users deployment.properties file, or from the browser (if the deployment.properties setting is set to the default "Use Browser Settings"
In either case the setting can be to use an automatic proxy configuration script. If it is, Java Web Start will invoke the MS java script engine to parse the config script.
This sounds like an error message from there.
To fix this, you could use the Java Control Panel to set the proxy directly, or change the setting in the browser.
In versions before 1.5.0, Java Web Start would always go to the IE system settings for proxy. In JDK 6, javaWeb Start will read the proxy settings from the "default browser". If this is Firefox, it may return different settings than are set in IE (the default system proxy settings).

After an upgrade to Netweaver 4.0, the following code for opening a pdf file constructed from a byte stream passed from an RFC fails.

Hi Devina,
We are also opening a pdf file constructed from a byte stream passed from an RFC. Our problem is that we are experiencing inconsistent results. The file appears to open on some PC workstations but not on others. When it doesn't work we simply get a blank screen in the window. Did you resolve your issue? If so, perhaps you can provide us with some suggestions for solving our problem.

Calling a plSQL Procedure from ODI gives an error

Launching InfoView from with in Application

I am new to the SDK world, please accept my apologies in advance if I am asking a very basic question.
I am using Web Service SDK for .net on XI3.1.
Here is what I am trying to do:
I'd like to display a report in a new window in the application. The report has prompts and the users would like the look and feel of the Business Objects HTML format. Can I hand it off to InfoView to handle the rest? I'd like the hand-off to make sure that the user does not have to login again in InfoView. It seems simple, I'd just like to understand how the code will handle this.
Is there a better approach to handle this?

Hope you are doing good. I have one more query regarding deployment. Actually we have deployed our .net application in other server which is a windows 2003 server and when attempted to view the BO report it throws the following error, whereas when connected from development environment it works good.
"System.ArgumentException: Sorry - you could not be logged on. CMS host 'servername' cannot be found on the network. Please verify the name and that network name resolution is working properly."
I presume authentication is getting failed here and I tried to rectify this. I came to know that these can be resolved by making an entry in hosts files for the IP and server name combination to avoid network naming conflict and to have strong names.
Here, I have a query. This requires a manual intervention to logon to the server and edit the file and in real time mostly people don't encourage eidting the files directly in any of the servers. Do we have any alternative approach to resolve the issue without making an entry in C:\Winnt\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file? Kindly advice me on this.

Entering Time Machine From Mail Gives Photoshop Error!

Hello everybody,
This is a very strange one: If I enter Time Machine when Mail is in front, and if Photoshop is opened, I always get this error from Photoshop: "Could not complete your request because of a program error."
What happens is this:
• I choose the Enter Time Machine command (Entrer dans Time Machine in French, in fact).
• I hear a beep, but the computer goes right into Time Machine, without a hitch.
• I can do anything I want in TM.
• After that, when I activate Photoshop, I see the Photoshop error dialog. I close this dialog and Photoshop works perfectly well.
This happens whether a file is opened in Photoshop or not. It does not happen when Photoshop is in front, +*it happens only when Mail is in front*+.
I am puzzled...

Thanks for jumping in. Well, this is most surprising. There is no record of any error caused by this, no reference to this one way or the other, no error of any kind... I searched with different keywords, Adobe, Photoshop, Time Machine, TM, Mail, to no avail. Anyway it's easy as I can reproduce this error dialog at will: With Mail in front, I enter TM, hear the beep coming from Photoshop (!!!), get out of TM and there it is in Photoshop.
Then I look into the console. An error reported by this event should be the last one and dated correctly, right? Well, there is nothing new.
What literally baffles me is the fact that this happens only when Mail is the active application when I enter TM. I tried every other combination to no avail.

I must say that it was very thoughtful of you to translate your post in French. I do appreciate the courtesy. And yes, your French is certainly acceptable, taking into account that it is not your mother tongue and that you probably do not use it very often. The reason why I mentioned the command name in French is that I was not sure of the exact name in English as my OS is in French. OK, I speak it with what my Hoosier friends call "an accent". But then I tell them... "Look who's talking!"

Emailing from LR4 (export for email), gives the following error, "An internal error has occurred: There is something wrong in CryptUnprotectData." I am not trying to interface with Facebook, but use a gmail account for email. Does anyone know how to solve this error?

5.1 Surround Export from Audition Gives "Header Error" in Premiere

Hello - I have a finished surround mix that has been exported to 5 mono stems that I need to use for a DVD. In Audition CC 2014 I created a new multitrack session and selected the, "Surround Stems for Video Master" template. I verified that all stems are playing on the audio meter and then selected Export / Multitrack Mixdown / Entire Session. In the export window I selected Wave PCM, 48000 Hz, 5.1, 16 Bit. The resulting file for the 2:15:00 project is 4.8 GB. It plays fine in Finder and VLC. When I try to import the 5.1 Wave file into Premiere CC 2014 I get an error that says, "The file cannot be opened because of a header error."
In Audition I have RF64 support selected. Is this possibly a file size issue being over 4 GB? If I set in and out points in Audition and use the same export settings the file imports into Premiere successfully. I need to use the full quality of the audio file when I export the Dolby AC3 file from Premiere so I do not want to compress this. Is there any setting that I can change in Premiere? Has anyone else had success importing a surround file that is larger than 4GB on a Mac?

I've had the same issue. Export audio to a MOV or AVI file format in Audition or audacity. They are movie containers, but hold audio as well, and will get past the 4gb file size limit.
Unfortunately, you cannot export back out of Premiere to audition straight out. You will have to do one of the following to get it to work how you want:
1. Blade at several points along your initial clips, and then edit in audition (the new spare files will be in place and will work just fine).
2. Use the MOV or AVI audio to replace the audio in the session once you get there.
On the send back to premiere, you'll have to conform to MOV or AVI audio PCM. Its a bit more work than most are used to, as you'd expect it to "know" the file is too big, but it really cannot tell from the container. If a limit of a file is about an hour of audio at 96k32bit float, then they could hard limit that by seconds count, and switch to using MOV instead, which would still function normally, and they wouldn't have to do anything else. Or they could add support for W64 and larger formats.

Exporting Prem Proj from AE gives an error when importing

When I export a .prproj from After Effects and then open it in Premiere, I get this puzzling error. Everything seems fine enough. But I can't find any reference to "desktop mode" in the Adobe help. Using CS5 of both versions and not using dynamic link.
