Layout with cells for a game

Hello,
I'm exploring MSDN documentation to find a suitable layout component for my needs, but with no luck. I would like to display several cells just link in "4 in a row" game and be able to get/set depending on their position on the grid.
Do you have any advice?

Please do post it! I am building a project where I need a similar 4x4 grid of items. I am currently using a regular GridView, but I'm having issues scaling that to work well on different screen sizes. I guess GridView is designed to efficiently/intelligently
use the space it's given, but I want a 'dumber' grid of a forced size.

Iphone 4 won't BT connect with Ipod for Multiplayer game

Ok. So I've searched and can't find a solid answer. I downloaded a Battleship game and have it both on my ipod touch and iphone4. I tried using the multiplayer function with my wife through BT, but my iphone won't connect (find her ipod). Her ipod finds my iphone but my iphone just cycles through. From what I can tell from the searches I have done is the iPhone ****** people off because it won't connect through bluetooth with anything but headsets, etc. But I thought I read that it will connect through BT for games. And even when the Battleship game searches BT it says it's looking for other ipods, iphones, or ipads. So I'm wondering if my ipod and iphone SHOULD be connecting for the game, but for some reason isn't.
Any help would be appreciated.

No one has any help for me or has also had this problem?

ALV Standard Layout with problem for excel download

Hi, i have a alv grid report with this problem:
I execute the report and see all data ok.
chose the download option to spreadsheet.
*When open the spreadshet only see headers and no data.
The report have a standard Layout with 4 of 12 column selected, if i execute this report and add a new column for the pool the download works fine, if i save this new layout as default and execute the report again the download don't work fine.
¿Some idea? Thxs

Just a wild guess. In your system, check the MS excel security settings. Excel->File->options->Trust center settings. We had some similar issues with excel columns visibility when you click on the ALV spreadsheet button or download which was corrected by changing the trust center settings. I don't exctly remember which settings affect this. You may have to compare the settings with another system (If it works fine in some other system which was the case in our issue). Pls ignore if not relevant.

Port forwarding with E2000 for a game called Minecraft.

Okay, I've been wanting to port forward this game called Minecraft for quite awhile now, but never got around to it, but now that I've wanted to let my friends that can't play with hamachi play with me. I wanted to port forward it so that they go into the game without using hamachi, or any other networking program. If anyone knows how to acomplish this with a guide for this then it would be nice, or just simply write out instructions. I've already tried once and whenever I ran my server, I would say "FAILED TO BIND TO PORT" or just ask me this "Is another _____ running on that port?" Thanks for helping guys,

Yea it looked okay. Go to cmd, then type in ipconfig. Look for your ipv4 address. Now make sure that address is the same as the one that you set up port forwarding for in your router.
Make sure you have reserved that ip by going to 192.168.1.1--->Basic Setup--->DHCP Reservation---> (your PC). Now restart your PC. The important thing is to make sure that your local ip matches everything (Port forward, server.properties, and the DHCP Reservation Table)
Now go to the .bat files that you downloaded for the minecraft server. You should see a file called "server.properties". Go into it and make sure that the server ip matches your local ip (192.168.1.4 for example). If not, change it. Here's a reference video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MJVNxPtmtM

The games companies want access to names of clients, aquaintenances, friends etc. I only have one account with Apple, using business account. So do I set up another account with Apple, for the games, to protect clients, friends and aquaintences. As I am sure that no one wants to be bothered by the different games. ibook-widgets.com have a free tutorial book in the iBooks store. Search for "Create your first interactive book using iBooks Author" they also sell widgets.
I dont have any connection - I found their eBook in the store long ago and used it to learn more about iBA.
The best advice though, is be patient, go back over the process step by step, I cannot access the Help files for some reason.. but i am sure its in their.

Create a VC Model for BEx queries with Cell Editor

Hello All,
I am trying to create a VC Model for BEx queries with Cell Editor.
BW Development Team has created a BEX query with complex restrictions and calculations using Cell Editor feature of BI-BEX.
The query output in BEx analyzer is correct where all values are being calculated at each Cell level and being displayed.
But, while creating VC model, system is not displaying the Cells.Thus, no VC Model can be created.
I have executed below steps:
1. Created a VC Model for BEx Query - ZQRY_XYZ
2. Create Iview -> Create a dataService -> Provide a Table from the Output
In the Column field system is not showing any of the Cells (present in Cell Editor)
Please help me to solve this issue.

If 'Cell Editor' is been used then that query must have the structure in it. You have to select that 'structure' object in your 'VC Table'.
If you select that then you will get the required result in the output. This structure will be the structure where 'cell reference' is used in BI query, You have to select that structures name.

Help with Creating a Jeopardy Game for Classroom Teacher

Hi,
I am a middle school teacher and would like to create a Flash Jeopardy game for the teachers at our school to use on our school website. I would like a game similar to the game on http://www.superteachertools.com/jeopardy/.
I have been able to successfully create a flash jeopardy game that uses a xml file. My problem is that I have to have a swf file and an xml file for every game we create. I want to be able to have one swf file that will load many different Jeopardy games.

I've had a look at your zip files, and with the best will in the world what your asking for is way beyond what one individual here is willing to invest.
First of all, this is AS2.0 on the Timeline, most Coders don't do this anymore. It's AS3.0 and Classes now.
If your able to invest a little time and patient in learning AS3 the rewards are far greater.
I'm sorry this might not be the answer you where looking for, but it's best you find out now than waiting indefinitely and getting no further with your project.

Scaling factors for queries with cell references

Hello Experts,
We have this issue, we have queries which have 2 global structures with the cell references for few of the elements of rows and columns structure.
we need the scaling factors and currencies of the query which are defined in the rows and columns structure are to be displayed as separate column but with in the cells.
We have checked for the queries with the 2 structures without cell references are displayed as we need. But for the queries with the cell references on the 2 structures are not displaying the scaling factors as we need in separatly.
how can we make the query to display the scaling factors along with currencies to be in separate column.
we have entry selection as currency where we have only one currency can be entered so the we do not have the problem of multiple currencies.
please find the screen shot how we need the scaling factors to be displayed for the queries with cell references.
We have scaling factors enabled as 1000 for KFs and for % selections we have scaling factors as 1.

How do I create a crystal report layout with a table and borders

My crystal report is a signin sheet. The sign in sheet has an ID column, Name column, Institution column, Place to signin column, and Weekday columns with checkboxes in each column for the visitor to checkoff.
How do I display the data that is being used int he crystal report in a table layout with borders around each cell? And is it possible to center vertical alignment of the data within eacvh cell like Excel?

Seriously though... There is no vertical alignment in CR. There have been several past threads related to this issue and all of them have various workarounds. None of them are very elegant.
The best workaround I've found (especially if you are grid or borders) is to turn off the boarders for the field itself and drawl a rectangle around the field(s). Now you can place the field in the lower portion of the rectangle and adjust the rectangles height to place the field text in the center of the rectangle.
This will give you more control over the height of your elements than using a carriage return before the text.

I'm going to guess videos buffer for a while also...
Two possibilities, one is you should close apps on the iPad, the other is your internet speed is not able to handle the demands of a high speed device.
To close apps: Double click home button, swipe up to close the apps.
To solve internet problem, contact your provider. Basic internet is not enough for video games and movies. Your router may be old and slow.

Line Layout with Reference Key in F-03

Dear all,
Iu2019m facing the following problem.
I modified the line layouts for F-03 through O7Z4S. In particular I created a line layouts with the field Reference key 1. The problem is that in F-03, using this variant, the field XREF1 appeared always blank. The same thing happens for XREF2 while for XREF3 everthing is ok.
Is something that I forgot in customizing?

I created the same - Reference Key in IDES it works if you create with text and then insert Reference key as part of Field with this.
