LDAP query to fetch users from Two different OU

I am looking for an AD query to get AD enabled users from two different OU Stores & ServiceOffice under root domain.
Using below syntax to fetch it simultaneously but not succeeding. Please help me.

Always mention your JDev version. Are you going to make the resultant data as read-only? If yes, you can create a db link pointing to another schema, and then use union all to merge the data in the query of the VO.
Ex:
select col1, col2, col3 from table1
union all
select col1, col2, col3 from table2@db_link_pointing_to_diff_schema

how can i join two libraries from two different users in the same computer?

I should add that you can turn on SHARING where each user can see the other user's library and play stuff out of it. But they can not import those tracks to their own library or put them into their own playlists or burn CDs of the shared library.
Also note, to do this you need to have the fast switching option enabled with the accounts so both can be running at the same time and both must have iTunes running at the same time.

I'm not sure whether I understand your question. If one user changes a record then you would like other users to see those changes. Normally those changes will be visible to other users when they refresh their browser, after the first user has committed changes to the record. I you want to be sure that the same row isn't updated at the same time by to different user, you need to configure some locking (pessimistic locking) - this depends of what technology you use. In EJB3 pessimistic locking is performed by adding a version to every entity object. If you are using ADF, the framework is able to handle either pessimistic or even optimistic locking.
If you want the changed row to be updated in other users browsers without any user interaction by these users, you should take a look at Reverse Ajax (ex. DWR http://ajaxian.com/archives/reverse-ajax-with-dwr) - or Ajax in general. But you will never get a realtime solution, where changes is visible in other users browsers right after each record update.

Usually, if two users try to update the same row at the same time, you want the first to commit to succeed, and when the second commits, they should fail with the error that the row was being concurrently updated. They you may want to show them the new row values and give them the opportunity to merge their values with the new row values...

Can you authenticate users from 2 different AAA-servers for one specific tunnel-group?

I need to authenticate users from two separate AD LDAP databases on the same tunnel-group. I would like them to use the same tunnel-group and thereby using the same group-alias. I tried creating a new aaa-server group and putting both LDAP servers into group but apparently the ASA does not roll through the separate servers in the aaa-server group and will stop if the first server states that the authentication failed.
I also tried assigning multiple aaa-server groups into the tunnel-group authentication-server-group but that also did not work. I finally tried to create a separate tunnel-group and assigning it the same group-alias but the ASA will not allow me to assign the same group-alias to different tunnel-group. What is the best way to accomplish this without having to create a new group-alias that will show up and possible confuse the dumb users requiring this access? Please help.

If you don't want ANY drop down I believe you can do it in a kludgy sort of way.
Eliminate all the group aliases (which are used to populate the dropdown) and make a local database of the users for the sole purpose of assigning / restricting them to a non-default tunnel-group which authenticates to the secondary LDAP server.
You can also send out a non-published URL that points to a second tunnel-group not in the dropdown.
Of course, we can accomplish this if the AAA server is ISE. ISE 1.3 can authenticate users to multiple AD domains (with or without trust relationships) or a single domain with multiple join points in the Forest.
The ISE answer makes me wonder - could you establish trust between the domains and authenticate users that way?

How to create Analysis from two different subject areas with diff models

I have problem with create analysis from two different areas with two different models (Model Star and Snowflakes) build in BI Admin tools.
First Model A = Subject Area A have one fact tables (with measures) and three dimensions tables (Model Star)
Second Model B = Subject Area B have one fact table (no measures) and five dimensions tables (Model Snowflakes).
I'm looking solutions how I can give good results. In this case I can't use UNION, INTERSECT etc., because this models haven't the same number column and data type?
whether it is possible to do in OBIEE?

Hi
One thing to understand is that if your are imagining having two Subject Areas (SAs) displayed and then dragging columns from each into your Request without any preparation, then no, that can't be done. You would need to do a join in the BMM layer and expose the column from the second Subject Area in the presentation layer.
But if you indeed interested in UNION (or intersect) queries, then do this:
Build your first query in the first SA in the usual manner. Note the number of columns and the data types of each column.
Now at the bottom of the Criteria workspace, there is a button called "Combine with similar request." Click it.
Select your second SA. You will note that the outlines of the columns in your first query appear. This is to remind you that the number of columns in this second query must be the same as in the first. It also shows the data type of each column for the same reason.
Once you select your columns and your filters, click on result. (Oh, you will also need to decide what kind of combination you want -- click on the dropdown.) The result will be a new Request that has data from both SAs in the query and combined in the manner you select (union, intersect, etc.)
That should give you a start.

Setting Up a New Mac From Two Different Time Machine Back-ups?

Greetings Apple People,
I am planning on getting a new iMac. Right now my wife I are still using our separate MacBooks from college. Both of them have Time Machine back-ups. We would like to setup our new iMac to have two different users. Is it possible to setup each of the users on the new iMac from our respective Time Machine back-ups?
I know you can do this seamlessly with one Time Machine back-up, but can you do it from two different back-ups, essentially merging the two, while keeping the separate user profiles?

Follow the steps in Pondini's Setup New Mac guide using one computer as the source on first boot. Then, hook up the second computer and use the Migration Assistant to transfer the second user account and nothing else. Don't use the TM backup because it's much slower doing it that way than directly from each machine.

802.1x - Authenticating users from two domains on one switch

Trying to figure out if there is a way to have a switch authenticate devices from two different domains
For example Computer A is in Domain A Computer B is Domain B
Computer A is connected to f0/1 computer B is connected to F0/2
I am thinking that i have to configure multiple Radius server entries One for domain A and one for domain B and reduce the timeout if possible
Any ideas or solutions?

What's your RADIUS server?
ISE 1.3 allows you to join it to multiple domains.
Even with ISE 1.2, you could join one AD domain and also use the identities from a second one via LDAP.
Multiple RADIUS server entries won't normally try the second one as long as the primary is responsive - a failed authentication counts as a legitimate response. You can setup round robin or least outstanding methods but that still doesn't give you the "check both to see if one gives me a good authentication" result.

For our profect I think this issue was caused as follows:
Believing that remoting was full asynchronous we fired a 2 or 3 remote calls to the server at the same time ( within the same function ) - usually when the users goes to a new section of the app.
This seemed to trigger the duplicate http session error since according to http://blogs.adobe.com/lin/2011/05/duplication-session-error.html two remote calls arriving before a session is created will cause 2 sessions to be created.
Our current solution ( too early to say it works ) is to daisy chain the multiple calls together .
Also there seemed to be an issue where mobile apps that never quit ( thanks Apple! ) caused the error when activated after a few hours.
I guess the session expires on the server and the error above occurs on activation.
So the mobile apps now ping the server with a remote call when activated after sleeping for more than one hour.
All duplicate http errors are silently caught and reported.
Fingers crossed we won't get any more!

There are two distinct currency codes (USD, INR) and total amount is 350000. So I am looking for a query to give me the following result

The tricky thing is getting two columns (currency_cd and currencuy_cd_host in this case) counted together. You can't simply say
COUNT (DISTINCT eb.currency_cd) +
COUNT (DISTINCT ed.currency_code_host)That happens to get the correct result with the sample data you posted, but what if you had data like thEe following?
currency_cd     currency_cd_host
INR          USD
USD          INRHere, the count of distinct currency_cds is 2, and the count of distinct currency_cd_hsots is also 2. Does that mean the grand total is 2 + 2 = 4? No, the 2 codes in one column arte the same 2 codes as in the other column. We need to get both currency_cd and currency_cd_hsot into the same column, and then do COUNT (DISTINCT ...) on that combined column. A UNION, as shown above, will certainly do that, starting with your query as you posted it. The query you posted isn't necessarily the best frist step towards this result, however, so there may be a much better approach, depending on your tables.

Say you have two schema S1 and S2 in the same database 'xyz' then you can create two database links to these two schemas from any third schema as ::
CREATE database link s1link connect to S1 identified by <password of S1> using 'xyz' ;
CREATE database link s2link connect to S2 identified by <password of S2> using 'xyz' ;
Now say if there is a table called tab1 in schema S1, then you can get data from it as ::
SELECT T1.*
FROM tab1@s1link T1
WHERE < you can put conditions here> ;
Similarly for the columns of a table of schema S2.
