Leaked Data Price?

I was just looking at engadget and saw this post:

It says that Verizon will require everyone to have the $30 unlimited plan and that they may be getting rid of the $15 data plan. If this is true I for one am very disappointed with Verizon and I might have to think twice about continuing on with them in the future. I was planning on getting my wife an iphone on the 15 dollar plan and just having her use wifi because she is usually home. I don't really want to spend 30 dollars if she never uses data other than my wifi. At least AT&T gives their customers an option. I understand that they don't have the unlimited option but I never have gone over 1gb of data and I could get my wife and I both iphones for 40 dollars a month(15 for her and 25 for me) on AT&T. I really hope that this isn't the case and that Verizon will keep there lower priced option.

i love the unlimited and use it plenty. however, i did think it was cool of them to roll out the $15/month plan. this allowed people that wanted a smart phone to get one, even though they rarely use them to their full potential. for example, my wife LOVES the lg ally, but she wouldn't get it because she'll basically use it for texting, and at home via wifi, so whe wasn't going to pay $30/month to have it. she's considering it now though, since it's only $15/month. i thought it was a cool way to allow customers to get a smartphone that don't use the data features often, or use them only via wifi, for $180 less per year. i think the problem is that vzn sold a bunch of them on the $15/plan, and now those customers are ALL going well over the 150mb (out of ignorance as to how much data they are really using), causing a lot of billing questions and angry customers who didn't know how fast they'd go through the data. just my theory.

I modified the source code following your suggestion but i still have the same problem with db table field with decimal and date.

the prezzo variable store the correct value with decimal but executing the SetValue method I get the matrix column without decimal value.
the data variable store the correct value but executing the SetValue method I get the matrix column blank.
It seems the SetValue method works only for string field type.

Trying to take advantage of lower data prices, VZW site says my plan no longer available.

I moved our family plan to the "MORE Everything Unlimited Talk, Text, & 3GB" plan in December 2014. Now I'm trying to take advantage of the new lower data prices. When I visit My Verizon to change it, I see this message:
Your current plan, MORE Everything Unlimited Talk, Text & 3GB, is no longer available. You may be eligible to add International & Global options without changing your plan by clicking on the 'International & Global' tab and submitting only those changes.
If you would like to change your plan, please select from one of the available plan options below. Please note: If you change to a new plan below, you may not be able to go back to your previous plan.
Instead I can choose the "3GB Unlimited Talk & Text" plan. What am I losing through this change? I can't seem to get a clear answer from the VZW site.

As Weth said, the current price/data combos are no longer available, but you CAN take advantage of the NEW price/data combos. You can keep the dame data package, for less $. Or you can choose to kee[p your payment the same, but with increased data. Either way is a better deal, and if the previous plan is no longer available, that's OK. I got a better deal....
I made the change, kept data the same and will see a $10 reduction in my bill. You may make a different choice, but for many, the move will be positive.

Mass change of vendor purchasing data: price cat.(LFM1-MEPRF)

Hi all,
I faced a problem of Mass change vendor's price cat.
IN T-code XK99,
I select table LFM1,LFM2 for the initial screen.
Then i input a vendor in the selection criteria screen,
It always say no data selected.
But actually the vendor is existed!!!
There is still nothing to select even I just input the purchasing organ.
Does anyone faced similar issue?

I try MASS and another Vendor 'CA024' that is the same result...
Also, I found that if i input company code '1000'
it will pop up a dialog screen say 1244 rows has been selected. And ask me to decide which action to do:
1. display all records
2. chng. in background
3. cancel
When i click display all records, it back to screen and say no data meet selection criteria again....

Shipment date price in GR

Hi guys,
I have an issue with GR price.
We have several cases where the buyers negociate the prices as being valid the date the shipment is sent.
So i need to find a way to make the GR price picked up from the date of the shipment.
Is that possible?
We are currently using price date cat 5, which is not helping because if an order was placed in march and since than we have had a price update in fabruary and the GR is booked in may, than the price picke dup by the GR is the february one instead of

Fundamentally the way GR price category works is, (Ex.) when you do GR it checks for the price (again) in Info. Record when the GR is done, so it is maintained in your system therefore it is not possible and necessary to pick price when Vendor ships the material.
As far as invoices getting block is concern, maintain tolerance and when the increase is within the specified tolerance than the same will not be blocked.

Material Ledger - Extraction of stock data (price & quantity)

Hi experts,
I'm trying to extract stock quantities & prices from CO-Material Ledger. The R/3 team passed me the following fields as required in BI to be able to calculate the exact figures:
CKMLCR-SALK3 - Value of total valuated stock
CKMLCR-STPRS - Standard price
MLCD-LBKUM - Total valuated stock
I don´t see that standard extractor 0CO_PC_ACT_1 includes any of these fields. Should they all be obtained thru "z" extraction?

While creating a PO, when I change the PO creation date, price in the PO will change according to the validity start date based on the PIR.I believe thats the logic right? I have a scenario, I'm facing a problem that when I change the PO creation date between 2011 and 2012 period, the price of the PO at times will not change according to the PIR validity start date. Is there any OSS note related to this issue or I'm missing out any logic?

By default, the pricing conditions are dependant on PO document date.
But there are different options like, whether you want your pricing to be dependant on Delivery date of PO item or current date (sy-datum) or GR date etc.
This filed is available in 2 places: 1. Vendor master>purchasing data> Pricing Date Control
2. Info record>Purchasing data> Pr.Date Cat.
Check in these 2 places and then simulate pricing by changing the corresponding date.

Price Date Control in PO

Hi,
I have maintained info.rec. with following price for different validity periods:
29/10/2008 to 29/10/2008 -- Rs.19
30/10/2008 to 30/10/2008 -- Rs.29
31/10/2008 to 31/10/2008 -- Rs.39
01/11/2008 to 01/11/2008 -- Rs.49
I have created 6 PO line items with Price control as below:
Line item 10: No control
Line item 20: PO date (30/10/2008)
Line item 30: Delivery date (10/10/2008)
Line item 40: Current date (30/10/2008)
Line item 50: Manual (29/10/2008)
Line item 60: GR date (30/10/2008)
When I do GR for all these lines, only GR date price control seems to be working. The correct rate (Rs.29) was picked while doing GR for line item 60. For all other items, it is taking some rate (Rs.0.02) which is neither correct as per the info.rec. nor the material master MAP.
Please suggest me how to use this price control field effectively.

You create a purchase order with the delivery date 05.05.1997. The pricing date category from the info record is adopted. In the course of the price determination process, the info record conditions from the validity period 05. 01.1997 until 12. 31.1997 are then adopted.
If you wish to adopt the info record conditions from the first validity period in the purchase order, you must change the pricing date category in the PO to blank and carry out a new price determination process.

Timestamp with price data in BPS and CPM

   I am working on a price determining project, the requirment is to build a cockpit(couple of screens), the screen will looks like BPS layout, One of the data column will be the actual price for steel,the rest of the columns will be caculated based on the steel's actual price. I can easily build this using BPS function.
   Here is what I am chanllenging:
   The business requirment ask the actual price need to be changes several time according to the market price.
which mean that we need to load the SEM infocube several times a day, the requirments also ask the layout need to load the latest actual price whenever it open, and the history actual data need to be display if necessary.
   One way to make this happen is to include the timestamp field in the header of the layout. I also notice that SEM-CPM's scorecard has the function, her is the online documents:
"If you choose Read Data With Latest Time Stamp From the Buffer/BW, the system checks the time stamp of the data, and always uses the latest version. The system compares the time stamp of the buffered date in the SEM system to the time stamp of the following objects: Time stamp of the assigned value field, time stamp of the transaction data (from the source InfoCube), and time stamp of the source query.
If the time stamp of one of these objects is more recent than the time stamp of the buffered date in the SEM system, the date is replaced by the date in the SAP BW. If this is not the case, the date is not updated."
   Any commnets or idea?

Hi JW,
if you want to track changes, implement the how-to paper about "line-items" (see SAP Service Marketplace). BPS layout will always show the latest data (price) and to show the history, you can use a simple BW query with drill-down on the timestamp.

This is regarding the price difference of the latest invoice document price with respect to the price of last time the document was invoiced.Without using the customer exit or back-end developement. need info if this can be done on the front-end using the front-end tool bex designer using the CKF, RKF , Variables or conditions etc
say for instance the user wants to get the price differences with respect to the invoices for a certain period that is from 01/01/2008 to 06/30/2008( dynamic entry can be any range).
Once the user enters the range for the billing document date as 01/01/2008 to 06/30/2008 the query should return the report as
Sold-to(customer) Material, Bill doc date and the price difference. these are the four columns the users needs in the report.
now the bill-doc date will the latest invoice date for the sold-to & material, but the price difference will be the price of the last invoice date(for the sold-to , material) - the latest invoice date price.
Example. between 01/101/2008 - 06/30/2008
customer : 2765 , material : XAWE33636FD this particular customer-product had 3 invoices on 02/15/2008 , 04/18/2008 and 06/03/2008.
price on 02/15/2008 : $1.09
price on 04/18/2008: $1.87
price on 06/03/2008: $3.84
so the report should look like
customer material bill doc date price diff
2765 XAWE33636FD 06/03/2008 3.84- 1.87( latest invoice price - last invoice price)

How to pass date value to an UDF

I am working in SDK UI. I have created a form. In this form there is a edit text box. I have to pass a date value to that object. I have taken a variable and pass a date value in "yyyy/mm/dd" format. When I am assign this variable to the object to pass the date value to that object then I am getting an error. The error is "Unable to cast object of type 'system.string' to 'system.IFormatProvider' ".
I have written the code like this :------>

AtenDate = '2007/08/01' ' format "yyyy/mm/dd"
Dim txtEditDt As SAPbouiCOM.EditText

After the last line the error is getting fire.

Date and Double conversion is really a confusing thing in B1-SDK programming in the beginning.
But once you got it it's okay.
When working with date-time and doubles (System and SBO-Price/SBO-Quantity), you should always take care about the language of...
...system (windows)
...SBO User Interface
These two formats could make trouble when the programming has been made only for a specific configuration of these two.
The third format for SDK-Programming is
...the SBO-DB-Format, which is language-independent and always a String
Here are some rules:
EditText.String ALWAYS returns the value you see on the SBO GUI. It depends on the SBO Date, Price etc.-Format the USER has configured in the Administration. Consider that the user has (for example) the possibility to choose a "#" (or whatever) as decimal-seperator. Direct (implicit) conversion of such a string to a double will fail at the latest now.
The savest way to get a .NET-Double or DateTime- Value from EditText.String are the conversion methods of SBOBobs-Object (see SDK-help -> BoBridge, Format_MoneyToString...etc.).
I think it's a good idea to write some wrapper functions for that methods, cause they always need a recordset which blows up the code too much.
EditText.Value always (system/sbo-language independent) returns the value as a String in DB-Format (Double as "12345.126700" and date as "20070930".
For that you must asure that the EditText is bounded to a format-corresponding datasource. Price, Quantitiy.... if you need a double.
If your "price"-field would be bound to ShortText and the user wants (assuming the example from above) a "#" for decimal-point, then a GUI-seen value like "12,421#12" is also returned as "12,421#12" by EditText.Value. But If bound to Price-DataSource it's "12421.120000"
=> So always do a DataBind to the Data - Type which is needed is recommended for this to work!
In my case EditText.String and -Value is mostly (only...? needed for B1-System-Forms where using of DataSources is restricted.
The prefered way of read/write values is the
UserDataSource.ValueEx and DBDataSource.GetValue/SetValue-method. It's also always in DB-Format as EditText.Value before, but gives much more performance.
Once you got some conversion-functions for "DB-Format-String" to ".NET-DataType" and vice verca (I've defined some .NET - System.Globalization.XXXFormatInfo-Objects for that) all of your problems are things of the past

Error when trying to set a date type edit field

I have an edit text field in a form which is bounded to a date type
database field using dbDataSource.
When i try to set the edit text field value with Today's date by code.
I recieve an error message that the value which
i'm trying to set is not legal. the error number is [131-183].
I use the following code to set the edit field:

Hi!
When writing to EditText.Value you must always use the B1 "DB-Format" as String.
The following examples are assuming (it's a must!) that the EditText-Fields are bound to a corrosponding DataSource (Type Date, Price etc...)
MyDateEditTxt.Value="20080207"
MyPriceEditTxt.Value="1341.79"
The best of it: It's Windows and SBO-GUI-Language independent.
EditText.String must always be written with the format of the actual Language of the SBO-GUI, which can be changed by the user....

Hi,
I think you will need at least some backend devlopment for this first and foremost being mapping the invoice date from souce to the Bill date.
Getting price difference is not an issue as much as tracking dates. I think you will need a counter to track the last invoice date which really needs ABAP coding
An exit would be much easier to have this functionality rather than to create RKF's and CKF's
I will update you in case any better idea strikes.

Downloading data from a different carrier

is it possible to set the iphone to download date from a different network,
im with telstra who have horrible data prices, so i i could manage to get a prepaid data pack through someone else it would be helpful. Otherwise ill just try to shut out 3g data from the phone and just do wifi.

On the computer you have initially the set the iPod up on and for, you can enable the "manually manage music and videos" option from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes. This will allow you to sync contect to the iPod from multiple computers. Otherwise, there is no other way.

Generating a Price List Report

Hi
Currently we are working for the retail sector where we need to maintain history of changes made in the price list. Can any report be generated in SAP for giving us a history of the price list with the dates on which such changes in price list has been made. I have explained the above query in detail below with a scenario.
Scenario :
Date     Price List      Item Code       Item Name     Price
1-May-08          1         HB       Handle Bar     100
20-May-08          1         HB       Handle Bar     105
2-Jun-08          1         HB       Handle Bar     108
Is a report as above possible to be generated in SAP for viewing the changes in the price list. Please guys if anybody has some clue on the same throw some light.

Item History is in AITM table. You can view the change details of an item in 2 ways.
1. Goto Inventory --> Item Master Data . Select the item for which you want to view the Change in price list. Now Goto Tools --> Change Log. Now you can view the list of changes made to that item. In that window itself Click the button "Show Differences". It will show the Differences between current item settings and the changes made to it (Date wise). Or You double click the button left to Instance. It opens the Item master data screen and show the screen which is earlier to the updation.
2. Write a query to retrieve the data from AITM table.
SELECT T0.UpdateDate, T0.ItemCode, T0.ItemName, T0.AvgPrice FROM AITM T0 Where Condition. Type the condition you want to filter the data from table.
