    I'm trying to set up connection pooling. I'm following the how-to page at

    You can also enable an SSL HTTP/1.1 Connector on port 8443 by
    following the instructions below and uncommenting the second Connector
    entry. SSL support requires the following steps (see the SSL Config
    HOWTO in the Tomcat 4.0 documentation bundle for more detailed

    * Download and install JSSE 1.0.2 or later, and put the JAR files

    * Execute:
    %JAVA_HOME%\bin\keytool -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA (Windows)
    $JAVA_HOME/bin/keytool -genkey -alias tomcat -keyalg RSA (Unix)
    with a password value of "changeit" for both the certificate and
    the keystore itself.
    By default, DNS lookups are enabled when a web application calls
    request.getRemoteHost(). This can have an adverse impact on
    performance, so you can disable it by setting the
    "enableLookups" attribute to "false". When DNS lookups are disabled,
    request.getRemoteHost() will return the String version of the
    IP address of the remote client.

    saveOnRestart: If true, all active sessions will be saved
    to the Store when Catalina is shutdown, regardless of
    other settings. All Sessions found in the Store will be
    loaded on startup. Sessions past their expiration are
    ignored in both cases.
    maxActiveSessions: If 0 or greater, having too many active
    sessions will result in some being swapped out. minIdleSwap
    limits this. -1 means unlimited sessions are allowed.
    0 means sessions will almost always be swapped out after
    use - this will be noticeably slow for your users.
    minIdleSwap: Sessions must be idle for at least this long
    (in seconds) before they will be swapped out due to
    maxActiveSessions. This avoids thrashing when the site is
    highly active. -1 or 0 means there is no minimum - sessions
    can be swapped out at any time.
    maxIdleSwap: Sessions will be swapped out if idle for this
    long (in seconds). If minIdleSwap is higher, then it will
    override this. This isn't exact: it is checked periodically.
    -1 means sessions won't be swapped out for this reason,
    although they may be swapped out for maxActiveSessions.
    If set to >= 0, guarantees that all sessions found in the
    Store will be loaded on startup.
    maxIdleBackup: Sessions will be backed up (saved to the Store,
    but left in active memory) if idle for this long (in seconds),
    and all sessions found in the Store will be loaded on startup.
    If set to -1 sessions will not be backed up, 0 means they
    should be backed up shortly after being used.
    To clear sessions from the Store, set maxActiveSessions, maxIdleSwap,

  • FOR UPDATE on MYSQL to SQL SERVER migration

    Dear forum,
    We have an existing piece of software that used MySQL, and we are in the process of migrating said software to SQL Server. All is working well, except when our program tries to execute statements like this :
    getImportEntryLock = getConnection().prepareStatement(
                        "SELECT * FROM ientry WHERE company_code = ? AND year_no = ? AND company_turn = ? AND entry_ref = ? FOR UPDATE");
    This results in this JDBC error:
    com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Line 1: FOR UPDATE clause allowed only for DECLARE CURSOR.
    After some research, I've learned that SQL Server has issues with FOR UPDATE statements; also, I saw some fixes were due as far back as 2012, but I can find no further information after this point. Ideally, I'd like to leave the SQL in this legacy program
    that I'm migrating well alone, as there are no tests available in the program.
    I'm using SQL Server evaluation 2014, MS JDBC driver vs 4.0.
    Thanks,
    Paul

    >Will updlock function, generally to lock rows until after a transaction is complete?
    Yes.  It is used exactly like FOR UPDATE in Oracle ( I don't know about MySQL).  It opts out of multi-version read concurrency and places a lock on the data read that prevents other sessions from updating the data for the duration of the transaction.

                   if( ctx == null ) throw new Exception("ERROR - No Context");
                   // ESTABLISH THE DataSource //
                                  ds = (DataSource)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/jdbc/xmediaDB");
                   if( ds == null ) throw new Exception("ERROR - DataSource is null");
                   // ESTABLISH THE Connection //
                   con = ds.getConnection();

             HOWTO in the Tomcat 4.0 documentation bundle for more detailed
             instructions):
             * Download and install JSSE 1.0.2 or later, and put the JAR files

             By default, DNS lookups are enabled when a web application calls
             request.getRemoteHost().  This can have an adverse impact on
             performance, so you can disable it by setting the
             "enableLookups" attribute to "false".  When DNS lookups are disabled,
             request.getRemoteHost() will return the String version of the
             IP address of the remote client.

                     other settings. All Sessions found in the Store will be

                   maxActiveSessions: If 0 or greater, having too many active
                     sessions will result in some being swapped out. minIdleSwap
                     limits this. -1 means unlimited sessions are allowed.
                     0 means sessions will almost always be swapped out after
                     use - this will be noticeably slow for your users.
                   minIdleSwap: Sessions must be idle for at least this long

                     override this. This isn't exact: it is checked periodically.
                     -1 means sessions won't be swapped out for this reason,
                     although they may be swapped out for maxActiveSessions.
                     If set to >= 0, guarantees that all sessions found in the

                     but left in active memory) if idle for this long (in seconds),
                     and all sessions found in the Store will be loaded on startup.
                     If set to -1 sessions will not be backed up, 0 means they
                     should be backed up shortly after being used.

  • How to insert mysql database into DW CC

    how can I insert a mysql database into DW CC ? there is no such option in the INSERT-panel.
    I know they changed the insert panel in CC but I cannot find any option to insert data at all....please can someone help?....

    All data functions were removed from CC.
    You can reinstall a lot of it by adding the Legacy Extension available here (about mid way down): http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/
    And/or adding a paid extension from DMX Zone: http://www.dmxzone.com/3/dreamweaver-extensions
    There are many, many discussions ongoing about data functionality being removed. You may want to add your voice via the wish form here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

  • Weblogic mysql SQLAuthenticator

    Hi. I want to add an sql authentication provider using a mysql data source.
    I created the data source MySQLJDBC leaving the default options , except for the transactions tab where i chose Logging Last Resource .
    and the connection pool where i set the Initial Capacity to 0. I tested the configuration and it succeeded.
    Afterwards i deployed it to my AdminServer and added the sql authenticator provider with Data Source Name MySQLJDBC .
    When i start the server the following error shows:
    *ava.sql.SQLException: [Security:090735]The DBMS connection was not usable     at* weblogic.security.providers.authentication.DBMSSQLAuthenticatorDelegateImpl.getManageableConnection(DBMSSQLAuthenticatorDelegateImpl.java:923)

    4. the code test as following
    In the test code i can get the result only from method : getPrimarykey(...); only and the other method ,getExportedKeys, getImportedKey , getCrossReference the result in ResultSet is null.
    anyway, this code i can apply in the oracle db with change db driver .
    I wish the answer why? and the actually the second parameter of this parameter , as refer scheme name , the scheme name is ?

    How i know the jdbc driver not compatible to this
    mechanismBy reading the documentation tthat comes with your driver. Recent versions of the MySQL JDBC driver do support the getExportedKeys/ImportegKeys methods but the table needs to be crated as InnoDB.
    So run the SQL command
    show table statusWhats under the Type column for your table? If it isn't InnoDB then this isn't going to work.
    If it is InnoDB but getExportedKeys/ImportegKeys still don't work then you haven't used the "foreign key" constraint in your "create table" command

    SQL> select count(*) from "tst"@mysql;
    COUNT(*)
    49
    SQL> select * from "tst"@mysql;
    id
    1
    SQL> desc "tst"@mysql;
    Name Null? Type
    id NUMBER(10)

    You can make the following query on the result page:
    "select * from the_table where movietitle = ? and cinema = ?"
    then you set movietitle and cinema to those which the user selected. If the resultset contains more than 0 rows, that means the movie is available.
    Below is the sample code, it assumes you have a connection to the database:
    PreparedStatement stat = myConnection.prepareStatement("select * from the_table where movietitle = ? and cinema = ?");
    stat.setString(1, usersMovieTitleSelection);
    stat.setString(2, usersCinemaSelection);
    ResultSet res = stat.executeQuery();
    if (res.next()) {
    out.print("The movie is available");
    } else {
    out.print("The movie is not available");
    }Now just add that to your JSP page. Enjoy ! =)

  • Migrate all Open Sales Orders From Legacy System (SAP) To SAP System using

    Hi Experts,
                 I've to Migrate all Open Sales Orders From Legacy System (SAP) To SAP System using Business Objects with a new SALES ORDER DOCUMENT NUMBER referencing the older one.
               I'll get all the required data with field in an excel file.
                 Does any standard transaction exist for it ? Or how to go ahead with it ?
    Thanks and regards,
    Jyoti Shankar

    Hi
    If you are checking for CREATE option then Sales Doc Type
    For more Info goto SWO1 transaction -> BUS2032 --> DIsplay --> Execute --> There SELECT the method which you want to perform... There you can fine the MANDATORY parameters also....
    Or in DISPLAY mode PLACE Cursor on the Required Method and CLick the PARAMETERS button on toolbar...
    That will show the MANDATORY parameters...
    Reward if helpful....

  • How can I create a new table in a MySQL database in MVC 5

    I have an MVC 5 app, which uses MySQL hosted in Azure as a data source. The point is that inside the database, I want to create a new table called "request". I have already activated migrations for my database in code. I also have the following
    code in my app.
    Request.cs: (inside Models folder)
    public class Request
    public int RequestID { get; set; }
    [Required]
    [Display(Name = "Request type")]
    public string RequestType { get; set; }
    Test.cshtml:
    @model Workfly.Models.Request
    ViewBag.Title = "Test";
    <h2>@ViewBag.Title.</h2>
    <h3>@ViewBag.Message</h3>
    @using (Html.BeginForm("SaveAndShare", "Home", FormMethod.Post, new { enctype = "multipart/form-data" }))
    @Html.AntiForgeryToken()
    <h4>Create a new request.</h4>
    <hr />
    @Html.ValidationSummary("", new { @class = "text-danger" })
    <div class="form-group">
    @Html.LabelFor(m => m.RequestType, new { @class = "col-md-2 control-label" })
    <div class="col-md-10">
    @Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.RequestType, new { @class = "form-control", @id = "keywords-manual" })
    </div>
    </div>
    <div class="form-group">
    <div class="col-md-offset-2 col-md-10">
    <input type="submit" class="btn btn-default" value="Submit!" />
    </div>
    </div>
    @section Scripts {
    @Scripts.Render("~/bundles/jqueryval")
    HomeController.cs:
    [HttpPost]
    public ActionResult SaveAndShare(Request request)
    if (ModelState.IsValid)
    var req = new Request { RequestType = request.RequestType };
    return RedirectToAction("Share");
    The point is that, I want the user to fill the form inside the Test view and click submit, and when the submit is clicked, I want a new entry in the new table to be created. But first of course I need to create the table. Should I create it using SQL query
    through MySQL workbench? If yes, then how can I connect the new table with my code? I guess I need some DB context but don't know how to do it. If someone can post some code example, I would be glad.
    UPDATE:
    I created a new class inside the Models folder and named it RequestContext.cs, and its contents can be found below:
    public class RequestContext : DbContext
    public DbSet<Request> Requests { get; set; }
    Then, I did "Add-Migration Request", and "Update-Database" commands, but still nothing. Please also note that I have a MySqlInitializer class, which looks something like this:
    public class MySqlInitializer : IDatabaseInitializer<ApplicationDbContext>
    public void InitializeDatabase(ApplicationDbContext context)
    if (!context.Database.Exists())
    // if database did not exist before - create it
    context.Database.Create();
    else
    // query to check if MigrationHistory table is present in the database
    var migrationHistoryTableExists = ((IObjectContextAdapter)context).ObjectContext.ExecuteStoreQuery<int>(
    string.Format(
    "SELECT COUNT(*) FROM information_schema.tables WHERE table_schema = '{0}' AND table_name = '__MigrationHistory'",
    // if MigrationHistory table is not there (which is the case first time we run) - create it
    if (migrationHistoryTableExists.FirstOrDefault() == 0)
    context.Database.Delete();
    context.Database.Create();

  • Uploading data from a view in legacy system to SAP

    Hi,
    I am developing a custom table in sap. The data in this table will be loaded from a view which exists in the clients legacy system (Oracle db).There will be no middleware for the data transfer.
    How can this be done in SAP? Can anybody provide a detailed procedure to do this?
    Thanks in advance !!!!

    Hi
    Is the Legacy system capable of calling 'BAPI' or 'RFC'.
    If yes, than you can create a RFC function module and with in the function module, you can write code to populate values to ZTABLE.
    When the Legacy system calls the RFC with values, your Ztable will be updated

  • Issue in bringing up CRS on ATG 10.1.1 with MySQL and Weblogic 10.3

    Hello,
    I am trying to bring up Commerce Reference Store as part of my evaluation using MySQL (bundled with ATG) and WebLogic 10.3.
    I followed the ATG Documentation on CRS with WebLogic and MySQL and I could not proceed because of the below error log. I keep getting error in OnlineCreateServerInstanceTask of CIM. I believe it should be some configuration problem, but could not think of any.
    As part of the installation, I use C:\jdk1.6.0_25. I verified my weblogic server is up through the admin console. I started MySQL before running the eval batch. Apart from starting MySQL server, I did not make any datasource/database configuration changes for ATG. I have not run any other scripts to configure MySQL too.
    Please guide me to resolve the problem.

  • Steps to prepare and upload legacy master data excel files into SAP?

    Hi abap experts,
    We have brand new installed ECC system somehow configured but with no master or transaction data loaded .It is new empty system....We also have some legacy data in excel files...We want to start loading some data into the SAP sandbox step by step and to see how they work...test some transactions see if the loaded data are good etc initial tests.
    Few questions here are raised:
    -Can someone tell me what is the process of loading this data into SAP system?
    -Should this excel file must me reworked prepared somehow(fields, columns etc) in order to be ready for upload to SAP??
    -Users asked me how to prepared their legacy excel files so they can be ready in SAP format for upload.?Is this an abaper job or it is a functional guy job?
    -Or should the excel files be converted to .txt files and then imported to SAP?Does it really make some difference if files are in excel or .txt format?
    -Should the Abaper determine the structure of those excel file(to be ready for upload ) and if yes, what are the technical rules here ?
    -What tools should be used for this initial data loads? CATT , Lsmw , batch input or something else?
    -At which point we should test the data?I guess after the initial load?
    -What tools are used in all steps before...
    -If someone can provide me with step by step scenario or guide of loading some kind of initial master data - from .xls file alignment to the real upload - this will be great..
    You can email me some upload guide or some excel/txt file examples and screenshots documents to excersize....
    Your help is appreciated it.!
