Lenovo Credit Card Services

I received an email from Lenovo Credit Card services stating:
Dear Lenovo Customer,
We are currently trying to process your order number xxxxxx.
For security purposes, we require that you call your bank and have your shipping address added to your credit card file.
Once you speak to your bank, please call us at 1-800-426-3325 and we will attempt to verify the shipping address on your order with the bank.
If no response is received within 4 business days upon receiving this email, your order runs the risk of cancellation.
We appreciate your business and your prompt attention to this request.
I replied to the email asking the Rep to have the laptop shipped to the billing address because my bank said it would take 5-7 business days to add another address but have not gotten a reply, I have tried to call the phone number in the call and left a message but got no reply and I wanted an update on my order. 

I spent two hours to address some issues that even my credit card company doesn't think it is a problem. My order has been cancelled because my shipping address is different from my billing address (absurd no.1). I called my credit card company, they told everything is great, they have already grant the payment. My thought is: what is the bloody problem?
Then i called Lenovo customer service and credit card team. They told me don't worry about it. As long as lenovo doesn't ship the order, they won't take my money. So I go online and try to place another order. Then, the webpage told me "unable to authorize the transcation."
Seriously?! 
I called credit card team again and try to figure out what is really happening. The gentalman told me he doesn't know what is going on. The only job he does is verify the information...... I asked he which bloody department know what's going on, and he told me to place order with sales department. 
This is a fortune 500 company, and nobody know why their customer can process payment online?! This is a bloody IT firm! 
Place order through phone means I will lost my cash back, and I am a poor student who wait table to survive my college study. The cash back I lost is pretty much the money I will get by waiting table for whole day. 
Please, some one told me where I can file a complaint. Unless, NOBODY from LENOVO knows where their customer can file complain online!

    However, when we run Weblogic Server 5.1 on Window 2000, it does not show any errors and goes well with CyberSource credit card services.

    In  incomming  payment , i received some amount through Credit card payment means.Does SAP B1 2005 have a provision to calculate the service charge for credit card automatically when i do the credit card deposit to Bank account.

    In SBO there is not really an automatic way to to calculate Service Charge for Credit Cards.
    The one option which I could propose is to use The Commission option on the Deposit screen.  But using this you can only specify one amount for the whole deposit and not per Credit Card transaction.  If you need to do it per transaction you have to perform the Deposit routine for each CC transaction individually and enter the commission amount for the same.
    You can set up the Credit Card Service Fees Account from
    Administration > Definitions > Financials > G/L Account Determination.....Credit Card Deposit Fee

  • Multiple Lenovo Credit Card Holds

    I ordered a new laptop last month and I a hold was placed on my account that day but this week another hold was placed on my account for the same amount. When I called customer service they said that this was normal and that a hold would be placed on my account every 7 days until my order ships. They said once the order ships all of the previous holds wiil fall off but is this right?
    I have the credit for the purchase but the estimated ship date is not for another two weeks and since the previous holds aren't falling off when they place a new hold I pretty much can't use my card which is frustrating.

    To avoid frustration and delays after the fact, I would suggest perspective customers read through the shopping help on the Lenovo website prior to placing orders, and read the terms and conditions of the aquisition agreement.
    There are several limitations which seem to frequently come into play, concerning payment. Here is the section on Payments.
    1) The "ship to" address must be listed with your issuing bank.   While not all online merchants require this, Lenovo has a very comprehensive set of policies to try to guard individuals against identity theft and fraud. 
    2) With one noted exception for AMEX, Lenovo does not accept internationally issued credit cards.  Placing an order with one will likely result in a delay as the order remains on credit hold.
    3) Ship to addresses for orders placed on the US website, must be US based addresses.   One cannot directly buy and ship to other countries.

    did a search but didn't find anything. Anyone know if IWeb supports credit card processing with quickbooks online? Interested in using IWeb with an ecomerce shopping cart.

    Check out Kagi I have paid many small businesses using them so it seems that it may be a good solution for smaller outfits and who knows maybe bigger ones as well. I have never had any problems.

  • Natwest Credit Card Services tell me that Firefox above 3.6 blanks out my "Pesonal Details" screen, are you aware of this?

    I wished to change my e-mail address at Natwest Card Services. Their Help says click on Personal Details then Manage Personal Details and then update the e-mail address displayed. This screen is completely blank on my system. I spoke to someone in Card Services On-Line Support and they said Firefox above level 3.6 will do this! Safari and IExplorer are OK. He knew of no plans to tell people of the problem or get it fixed. Perhaps they need leaning on.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    * Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    * Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • Credit card charged three times in (not error) even though transaction was declined - please help!

    Lenovo - Charged my card THREE times after transaction was declined two weeks ago ??? Fraud or Thieves I tried to buy a lenovo laptop but transaction was denied since I live in UK and tried to buy with a UK card. this was on 4th of may 2011. Two days back Lenovo charged me THREE times for a transaction which never got processed. My bank account is nill and everytime I get through customer services, either they hang up on me or pass me onto credit card services, where complete morons work. They are actually more ruder and hang up by telling me that I have to wait two days after transaction was cancelled. But when i do explain that the transaction was on the 4th and this was charged two days back, which is an error then they do the classic lenovo style ....HANG up on me. I dont have an order number since no order was placed, and completely broek and going mad. Does anyone help me ..... 

      Hey Mark, Thankyou for helping me, someone sensible with a kind intention and I'm very appreciative for it. First of all, I'm in UK but my wife is in US, so I was ordering this for her and I tried to place the order several times but it was declined on all instances and no order was neither emailed as confirmation nor was it communicated. To place a charge on an order which was never processed seems very untoward and dubious practice. I buy things for my family in the US all the time using my card and never had any issue or problem and the worst is it will be declined. And when I do place an order it's always a point of mine to make sure it's a reliable vendor because then I can expect reasonable and safe transaction. But do you think Lenovo transaction processing policy gives any assurance for it's reliability other than to its own self. I placed an order with Amazon (US website) for a stroller for my baby girl back in December, they did not charge my card till a day before dispatch in March 2011 ........ for me that is a reasonable customer service and experience. Product Brand and Shopping for it is an experience, a consumer only expects that during this process the vendor or facilitator  "to be reasonable" and "fair", in this context your organisation has failed not just for me but probably every shopper who has passed through your doors. I used to love your product, I was waiting and saving to buy one of this for me and for my wife but now I would look for an alternative simply because I cant trust your services. I thankyou for helping me and hope something changes in the future and please advise your Credit Card services team that hanging up on a customer who is dealing with critical and money related issue is not nice.............nor professional. I couldn't have any lunch nor dinner yesterday because I do not have any money in my account. I had to go all the way across town in a bus to borrow some money from my friend so I can survive till I get my money back.....     I tried downloading some apps but it asked to re-input my information. I did but it said credit card service is unavailable at this time. Is this just me? Or is a system down?

  • I recently switched to an iMac after 25  years on PCs.  I run a business that I have always used Quickbooks for, and I process credit cards through it.  Quickbooks for Mac is horrendous.  Does anyone know of a good sub for my purposes?

    I need to find something that will do the job Quickbooks did on the PC- keep my books, do invoicing and process credit cards (in Quickbooks this is done through Merchant Services- works great on a PC but doesn't work well at all with a Mac.)  Help!  I need both a new software and a coordinating credit card service.

  • External Credit Card processing

    We are trying to integrate Cybersource as our Credit Card processor for B2B & B2C.  We plan to use the Hosted Order Page to limit any transmission of credit card data over the corporate network.  
    Our desired process flow (B2C) is this:
    1. Customer places item in basket
    2. Customer chooses checkout from basket
    3. Customer clicks Continue from the checkout page
    3.1 Browser directed to Cybersource Hosted Order page
    3.2 Customer enters credit card data and submits
    3.3 Assuming successful authorization, browser returns to B2C application
    4. Customer Confirms data and creates order
    What would be a good approach to this solution?  My concerns are executing the standard code for step 3, and producing the redirect to Cybersource (would also need to send some basic order data (order total, description, etc)), and how best to return to the B2C application (what URL to store at Cybersource as the return URL to B2C) and ensuring the same session is used .
    I am new to the B2B & B2C applications so any input would be appreciated.

    Hi Steven,
    SAP's standard way of credit card processing for an eCommerce solution is to call the credit card service provider from the ABAP stack rather than from the Java stack. For the B2C webshop, the b2c/maintainCheckoutSaveOrder action calls FM 'ISA_SALESORDER_SIMULATE_TOTAL' which in turn calls FM 'SD_CCARD_AUTH_CALL_RFC'. By completing the credit card processing configuration in SPRO, one can call the external credit card processing service provider with a request and get a response, the control after which would based on the response go back to the eCommerce solution. This would be the suggested approach as SAP would check for product availability before triggering credit card authorisation, trigger only part authorisation when needed, etc. Security of encrypting credit card numbers can be achieved by using SAP's SAPCRYPTOLIB. You can get more information on that from OSS Notes 1032588, 1029819, 662340 and 633462.
    Configuration in SPRO would lead one to a FM 'CCARD_AUTH_SIMULATION'. You can clone this FM and call the external credit card processing service provider's webservices from here and push the response back into the FM's export tables for processing to continue from within SAP itself.

    Credit card order was created and then cancelled. The credit card service never cleared the transaction. How can the payment card account be cleared? We ae not able to use the FCC1 transaction. ALso don't want the ammount to go back to the customer as open item.

    It seems that the usual process is to pay the vendor (card provider) by Direct Debit. In which case, it is practical that the invoices remain blocked so that you do not end up paying the vendor twice (via DD and via your own payment program). The invoice will be cleared off against the DD payment on the vendor account once the bank statement has been uploaded into SAP.

  • Customer service regarding credit card mishandling possible credit fraud

    To whom it may concern,
    On Tue morning I placed a order for a sprint prepaid galaxy s3 and a go pro hero package through the early black friday preview deal.  I had both items in my cart and checked out the go pro package with promo code.  I then immediatley went back into my shopping cart and proceed to put in my galaxy promo code and the item was not longer available and sold out.  I then called customer service to see about why this was removed from my cart and how I could order one.  I was told that item was sold out and nothing could be done.
    I then relealized in the confusion that I entered the wrong credit card in the system and wanted to change the form of payment to the correct card.  I was told that they will take my credit card information and I gave the CR rep my credit card and was put on hold.  I then was taken off hold and another CR rep was on the line and I started the whole process again giving my credit card information waiting for an authorization from her, which she gave me. (This whole process took approx 45 min by the way).
    I then get to work and decide to check the status of my order at best buy and I am suprised to see my initial credit card info was used to process the order, not the new credit card that was given and told authorized.
    I call CR again and the order was checked on on they said that the payment was authorized for the intial credit card and basically there is nothing I can do to change it.  I tell my story to the CR and she sees that I did request my credit card payment to be changed but can do nothing for me not even cancel the order and reissue it with my proper CC number.
    I ask to speak to a supervisor Angela and she again tells me their is nothing can be done with my order is being processed and by the original credit card was used as authorized.
    My major concern at this point is who did I give my credit card # twice too.  She tells me the agent I was speaking with and I demanded that we get connected with this agent to see what happened with my CC info.  She informs me that this can not happen.  I ask what as a supervisor is going to be done.  She offers no remedy for the multiply issues I was having.  I had to tell her that I would like to escalate this issue, she then said she can issue a ticket # 148428368.  I then ask for the call to be reviewed and I would like a transcript of the conversations I had with the CR rep and how it effects my credit card security.  I am posting this so this get rectified and more people are aware of the dangers your company practices of handling credit card numbers to the CR reps.  I feel this situation could of been handled much differently and want to hear a solution to my issues.

    I sincerely apologize if this phone agent didn’t handle your request to change your payment source as you expected them to. It sounds like they tried to change the payment source, thought it went through, but obviously it didn’t change.
    We would never give a copy of our recordings to a customer but we would cooperate fully with any ongoing police investigation. Has this second credit card been used without your authorization? If so, you need to contact the local authorities in order for them to open an investigation.
    I can say that many calls are reviewed and if this agent didn’t act appropriately action will be taken. This action will of course will be treated internally. Other than providing you a transcript of this call, or sharing if any action is taken in regards to this agent, is there anything specific you would ask of me?
