Lenovo S850 problem - fw upgraded with Chineese programs

Dear All,
Two weeks ago I bought a Lenovo S850 device. All works well, when I tried the officially available Lenovo Smart Assistant v1.03 to upgrade my phone (http://support.lenovo.com/hu/hu/downloads/ds101291)
This program detected a new firmware: VIBE_UI_v2.0_1447_7.5.1_ST_S850
After the firmware update I realized that only English / Chineese language are supported, moreover several programs are available only in chineese language, and some programs are missed (e.g. google.play).
I have also Lenovo laptop and tablet, but this issue with this phone is really incredible.
My question:
1.) how can I degrade to or update for a multilingual firmware (ROW)?
2.) How can I replace/remove builtin battery? It seems to be hard or impossible to remove back cover of this styled phone?
Any help or suggestions would be very appreciated.

''This program detected a new firmware: VIBE_UI_v2.0_1447_7.5.1_ST_S850''....That's because you have the Chinese version of the phone and you were running a custom/modified Chinese firmware(Suppose you already know that if you're asking for a ROW firmware)that got updated to a full Chinese version(a lot of Chinese..I know).Did you got it from CN?
Now you have 2 options:To install GAPPS/GMS (Google services like the PLay Store), root the device using the latest Vroot version to get rid of the unwanted Chinese apps and use THIS or THIS for ''more loacale'' languages...
...Or you can flash the ROW firmware version(Importantome users have reported that the S211 ROW firmware also works on the S850 Chinese version....But can't guarantee 100%!)
To manually flash the ROW_S211_140923 4.4.2(download and unpack) follow message 7 of http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/K-S-and-Vibe-Series/Lenove-S650-sound-issue/m-p/1413747#M2950 (refers to a different model but the procedure is identical.You can use the drivers/PC flash tool included in the link.The S850 battery is non-removable>Before flashing>Disable/unmark ''Quick bootup'' or ''Fast bootup'' when you ''Power off'' the phone !).
The procedure is also explained HERE (Please flash the S211 firmware provided by me ! )
Don't need to say that you're doing this on your own risk...

Lenovo S820 problem in call with bluetooth headset

I have Lenovo S820. I update smartphone to last version firmware. Information from phone:
Model: Lenovo S820_ROW
Android system version: 4.2.1
Firmware communication module: S820.V21, 2013/08/07 15:14
Build number: S820_ROW_S119_130922
I also connected the bluetooth headset. In the phone attached 2 sim: MTS(3g and 2g), BWK(only 2g)
Problem:
When I call from first slot of sim with bluetooth before whistles Lenovo S820 activate flight mode and disconnect with all providers(MTS and BWK) and after reset call Lenovo S820 turn off flight mode.
In second phone I recive call, but I can't answer a call from Lenovo S820.
I try from different headsets. this problem occur with all headsets.

Problems after upgrade with dock settings?

Hi all,
I upgraded my 10.4 server to 10.5.2 server today. All appeared to go fine except for 1 stupid thing. On my mac mini clients also running 10.5.2 OSX the dock settings don't work. All I get is the finder icon and the trash icon. However on my iMac I get my normal dock settings? This is all very wierd. I tried re-attaching the minis to the server but still the same problem?
Also when I login to WGM I have to log in as 'root' user? diradmin does not work? Is there a default username that I have forgotten?

Yes, most annoying... it works perfectly on Firefox 2.x. A not so-desirable solution is to go back to Google's Gmail "older interface"... see this control in the top menu after "settings." In this mode, the selection of email addresses when composing is working.
Better still, Apple should fix this brokenness in Safari 3.x, likely an ajax problem!

Problem starting HotSync with Antivirus Program in XP

Couldn't start my HotSync program, running XP.
Found that it had to be "approved" by my anti-virus program.
That fixed it.

Problem when upgrading to 11.1.3.8

I was importing a large file into iTunes (2 hour audio clip called “1001”), when I received the download update dialog. I did this, but after downloading the installation process began and closed iTunes. Everything seemed to upgrade with the program fine. However, I have an issue I can't resolve from the process.
The file that was being imported did not complete when the installation closed iTunes. I was able to reimport it…but now iTunes appends any file with the same name after importing. iTunes appends a "1" to the back of it. For instance "1001 1" As if the file already exists or is stuck somewhere. However, I haven't found any remnant of the original file that was importing.
This creates a bit of a problem becuase I have a process for archiving audio we generate to itunes. And this requires me to change the name of the cut...everytime I import audio from a field recorder....which is constantly.
Is there a place I can look to find why iTunes believes this name is in use already?

It turned out, iTunes had copied the actual file to the Windows NTFS location...but not added it to the library. Once I found the orphaned file, in the iTunes>Media>Music>Unknown Artist>Unknown Album and deleted it...everything worked as before.

When I try to zoom the text of an e-mail I received or sent , I can no longer use the keys Command + to enlarge the text, although I can reduce it with Command -.
As I have a problem with my eyes, This is a serious matter for me.
When I write an e-mail, if I select text and press Command +, it just displaces the text to the right.
Now, my husband has a USB keyboard. If he connects it to my computer, his regular Command + does not work either, but he uses the extended keyboard, then it works. Unfortunately, he needs it for a musical application which does not work with a wireless keyboard.

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

I bought the Officejet 6500A Plus about one month and have experienced the very same problem. I tried to remedy this problem following suggestions in a number of different posts (static IP, router, firewalls etc), all to no avail. Last week I called support. The support I received by the tech over several hours and different days for a week was very good. However none of his suggestions corrected the connection issue. After today's recommended fix failed, he advised HP is aware of this issue with the 6500 and other affected printers. He claimed HP was working on a firmware upgrade. He did not know when the update would be provided. The tech also claimed HP acknowledged this problem in a written announcement. He agreed to email the announcement to me. I haven't received it. This has been the only problem I've had with the 6500

Problem with socket programming(Vista)

I'm not sure if this has something to do with windows vista.
I wrote simple echo client and server programs and the client program contains these lines

Now the problem is that the client program is able to communicate with the server only when I run both of them in xp machines or if I run the server in vista and client in xp. The client is not able to connect to the server when both the client and server are running in a vista machine or if the server is running in xp and client in vista.
It'd be nice if any of you could throw some light on this issue.
PS:
It doesn't work even if I turn the firewall off
The programs work well when I give hostname="localhost" or hostname="127.0.0.1"

I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but get the same error message.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

Not able to install Logic on mac with OSX. 10.8.2. Error message: Logic Studio.mpkg cannot be opened as the power pc programs are no longer supported. I have logic studio 8 software purchased in 2007 and upgraded with logic studio 9 (purchased in 2009)

After an earlier attempt to move Logic from my other mac (OSX 10.6.8) with the migration assistant to my new mac with OSX 10.8.2. I've re-started the whole start up process by erasing the hard drive from the new machine and build it up from scratch. After a new "out of the box" start, I decided to install LOGIC from my disks : starting with my 2007 package Logic Studio 8 and upgrading with my Logic 9 package from 2009. When trying to start to install 2008 I got the error message : Logic Studio.mpkg cannot be opened as the power pc programs are no longer supported.
What does this mean? HOw do I get this working under 10.8.2 as it works flawlessly under OSX 10.6.8. For sure I didn't buy a new machine to have OSX 10.8.2 but I suspect this is the roadblock to installing my logic package.

I completely lost the thread (I actually got confused between you and another poster on a another forum that was asking the same basic question) and somehow ended up thinking you were trying to install on a PPC Mac
My apologies and please ingnore those parts of my last post relating to the PPC Macs...
You have an Intel Mac and therefore Logic Studio 2 Boxed Upgrade set should install/run on your Mac without issue. As I said earlier.. you do not need to try and install from the original Logic Studio 1 /Logic 8 Boxed set...(It won't work anyhow because you have an Intel Mac and that version had a PPC installer) but just install from the Logic Studio 2 / Logic Pro 9 Upgrade Boxed setof DVDs instead...
Have you tried the "Make Disk Image" solution I gave earlier? That normnally works under such circumstances as what you are describing can happen when your DVD drive cannot read the DVDs correctly... I have had this situation myself where one drive read them okay and another failed to do so for whatever reason. Making and then installing from Disk images of those exact same disks resolved the issue for me...
You can try to reinstall directly from the DVDs of course though under some circumstances it may not allow you to reinstall Logic Pro itself if that part of the original installation attempt was successful... in which case you can also try this... (It's probably the easiest method if Logic 9 was already installed and present in your Apps Folder)
If the Logic Pro App is in your applications folder..
Run Software Updates to update Logic Pro to a version that will run under 10.8.2 (The initially installed version of Logic will not)
Run Logic
Go to the menu bar in Logic and select Logic Pro/Install Additional Content and select all content in there..
This content is basically exactly the same as what is stored on the remaining DVDs of the boxed set so you might not need to use the rest of the DVDs to install from but download it all instead from Apple Servers...

Problem with the program symbols in quality

Dear all,
I am facing a problem with the program symbols.
I have added new global fields in development, i have called those definations in text names. It is working fine.
After transporting these program changes in to quality these new global definations are not displaying in quality and varibles are not working.
Please give me some suggestion.

Please check the following.....
(1)The transport request status in se10 and see if has been successfully imported to QA..
(2)if all the declarations or code have been collected in a Transport and not saved as temporary objects
To confirm the same we have to compare the code in quality and development and see if they are the same

Try going into your settings and 'reset all settings'
You will need to retweak your device but it's been said to help with sound issues.
