Lightroom 4 from US, is there a license issue?
I recently received a box unit of Lightroom 4 from US, is there a license issue if I install it in Singapore as I recide in Singapore. Are there any restrictions?
A LR licience allows install on 2 systems as long as the software is only used one at a time.
Adobe has NO restrictions on where the systems are upon which it's software is installed.

If I use the tools from the toolbar, there is no issue, but once I click COMMENT, the document freezes and I have to open Task Manager to crash it. I am using Acrobat XI Pro, version 11.0.10.32.
I did not create the file I was working in during the freezes, so I tried a PDF that I created with Adobe and it also freezes when I click on COMMENT. I did discover that the COMMENTS plug-in is loaded. (see image
I have used COMMENT for years without this issue occurring. It started in the last 2 weeks.
I could not find Properties under the file menu, but found a security setting in Preferences under the Edit menu. It did not have a way to allow/disallow COMMENT. -
Lightroom 2 - Upgrade Computer OS from Windows XP to 7 - Licensing Issues?
I have a laptop running Win XP and Lightroom 2 -- I've saved the many sequential updates somewhwere -- that needs its OS upgraded to Win7. I had purchased Lightroom 2 retail and have the original installation CD with serial number on the back. So after I wipe the HD and insall a new OEM version of Win7 SP1, can I simply install Lighrtroom from the old CD using the serial number and apply the updates, or will I have licensing issues from the re-installation?
If there was an activation step, I'm sure I did it to get the updates. If so, do I have to de-activate before the OS upgrade? If so, how do I do that? -- JClarkWJust download the latest version LR 2.5 (here for windows)

tehre are two types of licences:
1. volume based
2. CPU based
if he has the second one then there are no issues... if the first one he has to pay depending on the message volume

License Issue from MCS 6.1.3 to UCS 9.0
Hello all,
We are upgarding CUCM from 6.1.3 MCS to 9.1 UCS. Our plan is to jump from 6.1.3 to 6.1.5 to 9.1.
We took backup of 6.1.3 MCS via Disaster Backup Recovery & restore it at UCS after new installation of 6.1.3.
We contacted cisco licensing team to issue us temporaray license for 6.1.3 for UCS so that we can proceed to upgrade process. Cisco issued us license but we are not able to install it successfully. Its giving attached mac-address mismatch error.
We contacted back to license team again & they confirmed there is no issue in license file, its some thing with the system.
Can any one advise what could be wrong with system. I am sending the output from system, screen shot of error & license file.
Please advise.

I am trying to reinstall Dreamweaver CS3 from the CD after having computer issues. Now getting error "You can only install one Adobe product at a time. Please complete the other installation before attempting to install ......." There is no other Adobe product installing. I have used the Adobe Cleaner Tool many times and uninstalled other Adobe Products but neither has worked. I have uninstalled/reinstalled this CD version of Dreamweaver several times when changing computers and after having computer issues. A google search of the problem suggested it may be an error related to the number of times I can reinstall this product due to licensing issues. Please help.

Absolutely not. You are misinterpreting things. The activation check never happens when just running the installer, only much later. It means what it says - there is another "install" pending/ active on your system, meaning somewhere there is an (invisible) process still blocking things. Either way, since you haven't provided any real technical info, we can't advise specifically. if you are on Windows, you may want to check your task manager and terminate any setup.exe and msiexec.exe processes plus potentially may need to manually fix/ delete some registry keys. For anything beyond that you will have to be much more specific.

No...and in fact there are several disadvantages (notably the easy ability of updating).
If you have the choice between a regular (real) license and an App Store license, buy the real thing…the App store is a problem... -
Since i got the new Iphone 4s it constantly drops calls. Apple have replaced the phone with another new iphone 4s but i am still having the same problem. I have checked with vodapohe that there is no issue from there end, given a new sim, still drops out

Lightroom 5.7.1, Yosemite OS X - Synchronise Folder function doesn't work in Lr.
Is there a compatibility issue? I can see the folders/images in Finder but when trying to synchronise folders in Lr it does not recognise that there are any images and therefore unable to import to catalogue. Anyone has any idea how to make it work. Thanks a lot.Hi Elba,

I am trying to perform the same function in Lr that I have been doing for many years in the past and has only been a problem in the last few days (possibly coinciding with upgrading to Yosemite, trying to find out whether that is the problem)
I am not intending to sync any files with Creative Cloud but only trying to use 'Synchronize Folder' function in Lr. Normally, I would right click on a particular folder in Lr catalogue and click on that function to check that the Lr Catalogue is perfectly matching my drives where the original photos are actually stored.
The problem that I only started to encounter is that I can see the files on the actual drives but they do not appear in my Lr Catalogue and they are completely invisible to Lr. I simply can not get Lr to recognise them and then import them to catalogue.
If for example, I export images to Ps and then save and close them, they do appear on my drive but are invisible to Lr and I can't get them imported into the catalogue. Import to folder also not producing any results as they are still invisible to Lr.
Completely baffled by it. Any idea what could be the reason?

There shouldn't be. I went from iOS5.whatever to iOS6.1 with no issues.
Just make sure to back everything up before you do it, just in case all doesn't go as planned.
I always do mine the old fashioned way, download the full OS via iTunes so if you've already got it linked to a computer and been using iTunes to do updates/syncing that's how I'd suggest you do it. -
