Limit order items to be sent back to sourcing on deletion

Hi all,
We are on SRM 7.1 Extended classic.
Can anyone confirm if the limitatin on the LIMIT orders not being sent back to SOURCING even after the PO items are deleted is stilll valid in SRM 7.1.???
Also we want to use LIMIT orders instead of service orders in SRM 7 as there are seevral issues when users try creating carts with the SERVICE HIERARCHY.To avoid the manual errors,we would like to use limit orders in SRM and then if required when the PO items are deletd in SRM the items should be sent back to sourcing.
If the limitation for the LIMIT orders items still hold true for SRM 7,then is there a way or enhancement to enable the sending of limit orders back to sourcing once the items are deleted in the PO in SRM?
I know the report responsible for snding items back to sourcing is BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP but is there a way we can handle the sendng of the PO items back to sourcing base don some custom logic for limit orders or for that matter any type of PO created in SRM?
Pls advise.

The note 1247922 is for EXTERNAL requirements/Purchase requsitions in ECC backend system and is not what I'm looking for.
Neverthless,I will create an OSS message with SAP and check if tehre is any enhancmenet available for sending limit items back to sourcing on PO deletion. Will update the thread accordingly
Thanks for the help.

  • Is it possible to limit order items on a custom form?

I am hoping to sell 15 indivdual items through a custom online form.  I do not want to sell the same item twice.  I see how to list out the individual items for visitors to choose from when they complete the form.  Is it possible for the form to update after each one is submitted, so that the chosen item will then either disapper or appear with the text stricken through?

Sorry this is not something that FormsCentral supports. You need to manually monitor your form (if you have a paid account you can turn on email notifications to know when someone submit a response).

  • Limit Order & SAP note 1355894

    Hi,
We are running SRM 550 at SP13, SAP have released a note 1355894 in SP16 that seems to imply that the category type for a Limit order should be B = Limit not D = Service.  That seems logical?
Our current system configuration enters an S, and although in general this works OK, we do occasionally have an issue when a user tries to reverse a limit order confirmation in SRM. The system will not allow it because a service entry sheet has been generated for the back end PO.
As we have not activated the service part of SRM, our users do not have access to reverse the service entry sheet and so this function must be carried out by a BPO or CCC team member with full access.
Does everyone end up with an S for a Limit Order item category type in their back end system?
If you have this, what problems do you get.?
Can anyone who has implemented the note 1355894 in an SRM 550 system let me know what the effect was?
    Thanks in advance

    Muthu,
    Thanks for your reply.
If I am understanding you correctly, this note only works where a supplier has No Confirmation Expected entered against the master record.
The note is not very clear on this point and then the question remains, why do we need to use S for one entry and B for another?
As we always expect confirmations for all our PO's it would appear that the note may have no effect on our systems so rather than applying the note in advance we will wait until we get to the SP16 application in the year ????.
Thanks for the info this question is now answered.

  • Using mult Acc *** when using MIRO and limit order

    Hi
Do you have to use mult account assignment when doing MIRO against a limit order (Item cat B). When doing MIRO against a normal PO that has no GR you are able to enter the quantity and amount directly onto the row without using mult acc ***. Is it standar to use mult. acc. *** when doing MIRO towards a limit order?
    /Anders

I am not sure what you mean by your query is it standard ?
SAP allows you post singly account entries as well multiple account entries in case of PO account assignment, it is applicable to all type of account assignment and not only B
It is all based on how your company wants the accounting entries to be made, whether to a single account and apportioned to multiple accounts

  • Line item is falling into back order even though the stock is available

    Hi Gurus,
I have a sales order with a single line item which fell into back order even though there is material stock available in the plant and thereby is not dropping any delivery note.
Please suggest me what could be the reason behind this issue and let me know how can i figure it out of what is causing this issue.
FYI, it is happening for multiple sales order but not for all the orders.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Praveen Kambala.

    Hi,
You should check if there are pending requirements in MD04 coming from another sales orders or STO. If your sales order is not available in MD04, either you have daily requirements or the order is probably blocked by credit check.
If you use credit check control and the credit check fails, the quantity will not be confirmed until the sales order is released in VKM4.
If the above does not help, please provide more details about the issue (schedule line type, MRP type etc), as it is stated quite generic now.
    Regards,
    Marcin

Did you try V_V2 and checking the box Process stock transfer docs? You can read the documentation pertaining to this t.code by clicking the i button provided on the top. You can also read OSS Note 821739 - FAQ : Rescheduling Transaction (V_V2) in Purchasing.
If you want to check for few materials, then MD04 itself shows the back order STO.

whehter anyone have same scenario or have any solution ? thanks a lot .

    hi,
If this can't be done in SAP standard (through customizing for instance)
you're often left with creating a custom screen in which the user can enter the data, after that you can alter the data in SAP with a bapi, or batch input mapping.
    Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

  • Problem with Unknown account assignment with limit order...reply soon...

    Hello All,
i am facing problem in <b>confirming the limit order with unknown account</b> <b>assinment</b>.We are using Extended classic scenario with SRM version 5.00 and ECC 6.00. When creating shopping cart with unknown account assignments,  shopping carts is getting created fine but when processing goods receipt the system only prompts for distribution by cost center and we do not have the option to selected processing against other account assignment e.g. internal order or network. the Cost center is coming as gray. What i am expecting that as in known account assignment it asks for a drop down and user can select cost center or order the same should happened with unknown account assignment. we have not implemented any badi for the same.
please help me out. <b><u>Is this a standard behavior of shop with limit order for unknown account assignment where it prompts for cost center only or do i need to implement any badi.</u></b>

Use Screen variants (Transaction - SHD0) to change item overview and search result screens.
BADI - There is one BADI to hide/show some SC item creation links, there is one BADI to control screen details of PO, CTR... but not SC (and not external screens).
So, as usual, identify the template and change the HTML code in SE80.
To implement a more complex logic, like the default check box, change the ABAP code (usually in the PBO), if required.

  • Purchase Order Items open vs ME2M discrepancy

First posting so if this is not the right section please move this topic.  Was the closest I could come to correct forum placement.
Hello all,  I am in the process of setting up BPM to monitor u201CN* of Purchase Order Items openu201D from various plant locations and I am noticing the number BPM gives is different than what the system you give if I used ME2M.
For example:  I am setting up BPM to monitor Number of Purchase Order Items Open for plant location 2102.  The set up is scarce and I only have a few fields filled out in the set-up:
-Document Type u2013 Single Value u2013 NB, UB, FO, ZPC, ZGR
    -Plant (Item) u2013 2102
-Doc. Category u2013 F (Purchase Order)
-All of fields are left blank
When this runs I will get an example of 1487 (it changes on an hourly basis so I canu2019t give a static value).
When I try to verify this number using ME2M I get a value of 1237.  A difference of 250.
The configuration I am using for ME2M is as follows:
    -Plant u2013 2102
    -Scope of List u2013 ALLES
    -Selection Parameters u2013 WE101
-Document Type - NB, UB, FO, ZPC, ZGR
-All other fields at left blank
Any reason for this discrepancy?  The closest I can guess is SAP is pulling in some additional information OR my configuration is incorrect.  Anybody run into this issue that has some tips?
    Thank you
    -nic

I know that ME2M has nothing to due to with BPM.
I am confused as to why when I set up BPM, in Solution Manager, to monitor Purchase Orders that are open I am getting a different number than when I use the transaction ME2M in SAP ECC.
    For example:
When the process runs in Solution Manager I get back 1425 open POs
When I go into SAP ECC and use the transaction ME2M it will only pull up 1175 open POs
Somewhere along the lines I am missing or adding 250 POs.  The current setup (listed above; not sure if BPM is configured the same for everyone) is listed above.
I have tried various set-up options in both BPM Solution Manager and SAP ECC (ME2M) but can't seem to find where these additional numbers are coming from.
    Thank you

  • In MR11 - u201CNo (suitable) purchase order/item found     u201C.

    Hi Friends,
We are having issue with MR11 in 4.6 B. While doing MR11 for a PO where Delivery costs have not been balanced, we are getting message u201CNo (suitable) purchase order/item found     u201C.
In the research, we found that in 4.6 B, MR11 is using program SAPMM08K, where as in ECC 6.00, it is using program SAPRCKM_MR11.
Initial fetch from PO history table :
4.6 B -> In 4.6 B we are using EKBI view (Join via EKKO / EKPO / EKBE for MR11) to fetch the PO history table. (It is not considering EKBZ table for delivery cost records)
Program is checking the Quantity of EKBI, if there is no difference in quantity then it is coming out of loop and showing message
    No (suitable) purchase order/item found
        Message no. M8 401
    3CAUSE&
No purchase order exists which corresponds to your entry for a quantity
        difference posting.
ECC 6 -> In ECC 6.00 we are using view V_CKMLGRIR (DB View: Selection for MR11 Clearing GR/IR Clearing Account Table u2013 EKKO, EKPO and EKBE)
Here also program is checking the Quantity in the View, if there is no difference in quantity then it is going for another fetch (which is missing in 4.6 B).
In the another fetch, it is checking View V_CKMLGRIR_FR (DB View: Selection for MR11 Clearing Freight Clearing Accnt Table u2013 EKKO, EKPO and EKBZ)
I've searched sap notes but couldn't find much help. I've tried different search criteria but no luck. Could anyone able to help me?
    Thanks,
    Ramesh S

    HI
MR11 will show only the blocked invoices due to quantity/price difference.
First of all please check your invoice (MIRO of your required PO) that it is blocked for invoice verification or not .(Please note block for payment is not relevant for MR11).
Further please check if you have mainatined any tolerance in GRN (MIGO) for under or over delivery , so it is not escaping the PO due to under/over tolerance limit.
    Cheers

  • Custom field in limit order Details screen

    hi all,
i am trying to add cuf.field called purch. Group which is not present in limit orders details -> Basic data tab. one of the structure has the value of purchasing group so i didn't include any custom field in shopping cart items structure "CI_BBP_ITEM_SC". just i want to map this value to the custom screen field for display only .when i see in the SAP GUI it is visible but not in the ITS Screen. do i need to change the internet service file if so Pls help me..
    helpfull answers will be rewarded...
    Thanks,
    Henry

    Hi Henry,
You can use the 'Append structure' concept to add custom screen field and use one of the BAPIs to assign values to it. The value could come from the shopping cart item structure.
You dont need to change the ITS for it.
    Thanks,
    Waheed

  • Automatic creation of limit order

    Hi,
We have a limit SC with an assigned source of supply (contract). But after approval this SC becomes a PR in ECC and not a PO directly. We are in classic scenario and all SC with source of supply should do that (including limit orders).
    What could be wrong?
    br
    Anders

when Buyer creates a limit shopping cart after approval PO must be created since partner function registered as 19 .
so kindly check any BADI implemented to change the above behavior .
Note 1243836 - Manual entry of invalid contract allowed in contract limit
Note 1417491 - Adding a contract is not allowed in limit Shopping Cart
Is it works fine without contract ?
    sap rule
In the extended classic scenario, contract limit fields were enabled for limit Sopping Cart.
In the extended classic scenario, you cannot assign a contract to a limit item. In the classic scenario, you can, as long as the confirmation and invoice flag is checked (it is not possible if only the invoice flag is checked). However, this is possible in the local scenario, that is you can assign a contract to a limit item in the local case (not extended), if the invoice only flag is checked.
