Limit total value for dynamic text

Hi,
I've got two buttons: one which increases the value of a
dynamic text box by 1, and one which decreases the same text by 1.
I need to set a limit on the value of the dynamic text box, to -35
to +35.
The code I've got so far:

trial1_txt.text = 0;
//control the increase button

FM returns wrong total value for Limit type PO's

Hi all,
I am working on SRM 5.0 (SP13) ECS.
I have implemented the BADI "BBP_WFL_APPROVAL_BADI" for determining the Approvers for PO whenevr a PO is changed.If the diference between the Old PO value and new PO value is > 1000 and the approval text field(custom text under "Documents" link) is set to "YES",then the WF approval is required and the approvers are determined.
The above logic works fine for the Standard type PO's where the difference between the old value and new value is determined using FM "BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL" by passing the GUID (for the change version and the active vesion) obtained at runtime in the BADI.
However for the limit type PO's,whenevr I change the total value for the Limit item,I see that the FM "BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL" doesnt return the changed value but always returns blank!
Bcause I need to check bth the values i.e. Custom text set to "YES" as well as Total value diff ,I cant use the start conditions in tcode SWB_COND.ALso I need to fetch the approvers based on the price diff so I need this value at runtime in the BADI using the FM "BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL".
Please advise why the FM is not returning the changed values for the Limit type PO and is there any other way(other table/FM) to get the changed value at runtime for the LIMIT type PO.

Yes.I am using the GUID available at runtime in the BADI "BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI" which is the current change version GUID.I tried using that GUID to get the data from both FM as well as CDHDR and CDPOS tables.
I think this is something related to LImit type PO because for Standard type PO's the FM returns the corretc changed value (as in the screen) for the change version GUID.I fail to understand why the changed values are shwon on the screen but are not stored anywhere in the system before actually ordering the PO!

Language translations for dynamic texts

Hi
can somebody pls help me on doing the translations for dynamic texts, for eg, I am getting some values into a checkbox group and dropdowns at runtime , these values are not stored in any .xlf files,
pls let me the know the procedure of translating these dynamic values.

but in my case it is a checkbox group where fields will be fetched from a database dynamically when we run the application

Map var value in dynamic text box

I written public function in public class ,my problem is that I will like to map the trace value in dynamic text box which is on the stage of fla fil, It shows trace value properly but If I pass the var value like msg1.text = (processCode);
it doesn’t work It shows an error 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: text.

You should use the following to create the text box
First drag one text box to stage and delete it. It will add required graphics to your library then import the classes using
import flash.text.TextField
Now create the text box

Dear,
One more problem has been highlighted of mismatch inthe values of Billing document and MC01 reporting.
We have dispatched material for one customer for value Rs. 105000 and the same is shown as 20375 in the MC01 report. This is the First line item in the billing document.
Kindly suggest the course of action or alternate solution.

I want total sum value for only one key figure. In my report i have qty, sales unit price, Ext price as per my requirment i need total value for only Unit price. i tried but i am getting total sum value for all KF.
How can i achive this?

All my key figures are having 0currency, but as per my requirment i used NODIM option in report level.
My enduser Requirment is: He dont want $ symber for values but he want $ symbel for total Value.
Ex: Ext Amount

If else conditional statements for dynamic text fields (as 2.0)

This is about a self assesment quiz.There will be four options and each one has a scale from1-5 ie "option a" has 1mark, "option b" has 2marks,"option c" has 3 marks, "option d" has 4marks and "option e" has 5 marks and we count the answerd and we display the scor for example if there are 20 question in it if they answered "option e" 5 times the score will be
25 and option d 5 times the score will be 20,anf if "option c" for 5 times the score will be 15,and "option b" for 3 times the score will be 6 and "option a" two times the score will be 2, and we add up all the score and display in a dynamic text field called "scor" and the total score is 68.And i have another dynamic text field called "tsc" where i have to display the tags like excellent , good, better ......ect.
Till now every thing is fine but i am unable to compare them it is displaying excellent even if i get 10 marks, i am unable to configure where i am going wrong.
If the score is greater than 55 "tsc" should display Excellent, if the score is greater than 41 or less than 55 "tsc" should display Best, if the score is greater than 26 or less than 40 "tsc" should display Better,if the score is none of the above "tsc" should display Poor.
This is my code on the submit button:

Use trace commands to make sure that what you think you are processing is what is actually hapenning.
Your middle conditionals are not written as you described them... any "==" should be ">="
It is recommended you get away from using the textfield var option... it can be troublesome to work with. Just assign an instance name to the textfield and assign the values to its text property... for instance, say you name it tscField, then you would use tscField.text = "Excellent";
Also, realize that the gotoAndStop command will not happen until after all the code executes in case that matters

Values for htmldb_item.text field do not display in CSV output

HTML DB experts,
I have a report query with the following 2 items in the SELECT statement:
wwv_flow_item.display_and_save(2, DOC_CD, 10) DOC_CD,
htmldb_item.text(3, DOC_DESC, 50, 255) DOC_DESC
I have enabled the CSV output for this report. The problem is, when I generate a csv file, only the DOC_CD (wwv_flow_item.display_and_save) displays. The values for the DOC_DESC (htmldb_item.text) do not display. What do I need to do to get the DOC_DESC to display?

Items rendered using htmldb_item generate HTML tags on the form, not plain text. You are right, the CSV export excludes them.
Your best best is to create another report region on some other page with the same query except replace all the htmldb_item() calls with regular columns i.e. make it a read-only report and use the "export: CSV" template and put up a link to this page at the bottom of your editable report (instead of the builtin CSV link). This way when you click on this link, it will generate your report and immediately offer to export it to CSV

How to check old and new value for a text item attached to a lov?

I need your help in following.
I have a form which has a text item which is attached to a LOV. I want to track what changes are being done using that form. So i want to know what was old value and what is new value.
I can get the new value as it is there in form field. how can i know what was the old value.

This is wrong:
name_in(':' ||l_audit_block.field_name)
this is right and will get you the current value of the the item:
name_in('l_audit_block.field_name');
Assuming the name of you block is "l_audit_block" and the name of your item is "field_name".
Please note name_in() returns your current value for an item. In your case this may or may not be the "old" value. I define "old" value as the value it was when it was queried. If that is what you are looking for you need to use the get_item_property() call that Steve described above.

Actionscript for Dynamic Text

I am designing my first flash site, and created a Dynamic
text field called header_txt. I want the content inside this field
changed based on which page the user navigates to. I have used an
"IF" statement inside a Declared Function , but wonder if that is
the best option, also, my IF statement is no working. Here it is:

_currentframe only returns a number. You can't access the
frame's label with actionscript, except to specify it as a
parameter in the gotoAndPlay() method.
I would assume that you are calling the headingChange()
function at each labeled frame. If you are, then just change the
function call to this:
At frame labeled "contact": headingChange("contact");
At frame laveled "about": headingChange("about");
Change your function to read as follows:
function headingChange(s:String) {
if (s== "contact") {
header_txt.text = "Contact Us";
} else if (s== "about") {
header_txt.text = "About Us";
Or, you could just access your dynamic textfield directly
everytime you get to a new frame with a label by executing the
following code in a frame:
At the frame labeled "about": header_txt.text = "About Us";
Either way would work. Though I like keeping stuff like this
in a function. It makes it easier to update so that it does more in
the future.

I need to create a formula which outputs the value for a single group. For example, two groups are:
Group: Year
Group: Products
I only need to place in the footer the total for year 2012, product jam. The report contains dteails for many products and years.

Create this formula and place it on the Group Header 2. You may suppress this formula as we don't really need to display it.
WhilePrintingRecords;

Note. If the {Year} field is a date field, then you need to use a function to extract the year like:
Year({Year_field}) = 2012
Create another formula to display the sum and Place it on the Report Footer:

numbervar summ;

Default values for long text for mic in inspection plan

Some long text are coming default when i am creating inpection plan for mic.
This is coming for only particular plant. For other plant it is not coming. Is there anywhere we can make it as default for a particualar line item . ie for particular characteristics i.e 10, 20 etc

I am not sure , whether you are mentioning about Long text for MIC or Default insp char number (10,20,30..) in the insp plan.
If you are talking about Insp char number in the insp plan . you can specify the same in SPRO , QM->Q planning ->Insp planning -> General -> Maintain profiles for default values.
