Line By Line with adjustable interval....

hello...I'm going to be straight forward...I'm a noob and I have been charged with a task which is a bit over my head. I'm not looking for anyone to do anything for me (i.e. sample code)...I'm really only here for pointers..
My task is to implement a timer feature into buffered reader. basically I'm using a class which converts CSV to XML and I need to change it so that I am able to set a timer (basically) for how long the buffered reader object goes to the next line in the CSV file.
Am I barking up the right tree?

I'm working with a collection of classes. One which handles a user editable properties/config file...I plan to add a time interval variable to pass to a timer function later...I guess my real issue is this:
There are two other classes, one which stores single records of the CSV file in an array, and then another class which compiles all of the records into a larger array organized by an XML template in the config file I mentioned earlier.
My guess is that I need to put a timer function in the class which feeds the single records to the class which compiles all of the records and reorganizes them (just to prevent them from being made into an xml file all at once...because the end-user wants the xml file to slowly grow so the data can be tracked by a custom app on their end) The class I need to alter is feeding the records from the csv file to another class...is there any way to change the size of a buffered writer by way of a user determined variable?

Perhaps you mean something more like this
similar technique you create the arrow as a straight stroke path with an arrowhead and make it a symbol
You then make it a symbol
you than make a vertical rectangle and use the 3D Revolve Effect to make a cylinder
then you go to map art
then you choose in the map art to make the geomtery invisible
then you ma the arrow symbol and adjust the placement and then adjust the rotation of the cylinder to your likeing.

Putting form field in line with text

trying to put a text form field in line with the paragraph but am unable to do so. Any ideas?

Are you trying to adjust the line spacing of the text in order to align the text with visible lines already present in the format of the form?
There isn't a text formatting tool in the form section. You need to create the from field and edit the properties to allow Multi Line Scrolling and to Allow Rich Text Formatting. Then exit the Form section by clicking the hand tool. Click in the field and press Ctrl+E to pull up the text formatting tool bar. Click more, then paragraph. On line spacing select Exactly and enter the amount of characters that you need in order for the spacing to apply appropriately.

How to draw and modify double lines with Adobe Illustrator?

I need tot draw roadmaps. This should be easy using the pen tool, but my problem is that I cannot find a way to draw double lines with this tool. I have seen many fancy border styles and patterns. Some do have double or even quadruple lines, but the problem is than that they have an offset from the vector line and the space in between the two lines (the edges of the road) cannot be filled. Somewere I also found some pens called 'Double line 1.1' to 'Double line 1.6' but they also had an offset from the vector and I could not chance the size of the lines and the interval in between them independently.
What I am looking for is a way to draw two lines in parallel and have the option tot fill the space in between with a color or even a pattern.
The color and size of the lines should be changeable to make a distinction between several types of road.
Is there an existing set of pencils for this purpose? It would be nice to be able to draw not only roads, but also railways and rivers!
I am surely not the first person who needs to do this?

Thanks for the answer. I have been searching for a solutions for a long
time, but today I found the solution on a forum (not on this one). That
solution is exactly as you described below, i.e. using a coloured line and a
narrower white line on top of the first one. My problem was that I did not
know how to create a custom brush based on the two lines. Now I know how to
do that. However, I still have the problem. I can now draw double lines and
I can change the color of the background line (the coloured one) but I
cannot change the white colour of the narrower line. I assume that I have to
completely redefine a new brush when I need to change that colour too.

How to get Horizontal Slider in line with text?

I am trying to put my horizontal sliders in line with text information, but for some reason the alignmentbase property does not work. Any tips?

As seen above, the slider (& corresponding labels) are not on the same 'horizontal line/position' as the mx Text (ex. 'Track Time Interval' but a bit above?
I tried to put alignmentbaseline to all possible values but whithout succes.

This error is not coming for other flow type Z120 in the contract.
The accrual type for accruals is set as ANRVCN and Accrual type for deferrals is set as TRRVCN in the definition of flow type with S Debit posting.
For ANRVCN , posting supported is " Only periodic" and for TRRVCN " All"
Please guide as to where I need to check and correct.

Schedule Lines with Firm

Hi Gurus,
I have an Issue in Schedule lines. Delivery schedules lying with in the firm zone has firm indicator 1(Firm zone) in ME33l. The same schedule line shows in MD04 with * Symbol as firmed. In some of the cases Delivery schedules push out from the Firm Zone does not have a Firm Indicator in ME33l but it is firmed in MD04 with * symbol.In which table & field I can Identify the Firmed schedule lines with * symbol in MD04.Please Help me.

Delivery schedules lines are populated when MRP is Run.
symbol indicates that you have done manual intervention in the purchase order mentioned.
In MDO4 you can see * symbol

HYPOTHETICAL EXAMPLE/WHAT I”D LIKE TO SEE
If I have 2 fields on a line (this is now a hypothetical example and nothing to do with my actual report)….let’s call them field A and field B. And if field A has values of all ‘X’ and field B has values of all ‘Y’…then….the normal case would be (ignore dots – only for spacing):

But what if A is too long? I would want to see B wrap onto the next line like this:

And similarly….if B is extra long, can the line print as:

I can see how you can wrap an individual field like that…but how can you WRAP a line of[b] fields within the frame so it wraps to the BEGINNING of the frame on next line?
My SPECIFIC CASE
I have a report that I have stripped down to a simple structure for the purposes of this explanation.
My DATA MODEL has the main QUERY (for plant family and species data). The columns of the query are divided into 2 groups. The 1st GROUP contains the family data. Below that is the rest of the species data in a 2nd GROUP.
Linking from the 2nd species group (above) is a new QUERY to extract REGION data based on the common key field. Under this 2nd query is another group with all the REGION columns.
The LAYOUT MODEL has a group frame (the main , base one)
On top of this is a repeating frame based on the 1st group (family data).
On top of this is another repeating frame for the 2nd group (species data).
On top of this is 2 Frames on the same line line. The 1st frame contains columns from the species group .
The 2nd frame on this line is a repeating frame. The PRINT DIRECTION for this frame is ACROSS/DOWN. It repeats details of the REGION where the species is found. These columns come from this group come from the REGION QUERY and GROUP.
All fields on the report line have variable horizontal elasticity.
The problem is that when there is too much data on the line, it does NOT WRAP to the 2nd line.. It TRUNCATES.
Can the line be made to WRAP????..
In my current report, 1 of 2 things is happening:
1) All fields print on the line until it hits the page boundary and then it just stops. Truncated!
2) All fields print on the current line, then Oracle Reports throws a new page to print the REMAINDER of the long, input line
But I would like a LONG line to continue printing onto the following line of the same page.
I have tried all combinations of the elasticity fields and the ‘ADVANCED LAYOUT’ properties.
I have been focussing my attention with this problem on the frames .
We are using REPORT BUILDER V 6.0.8.26.0

I've done as you suggested....I have a long text boilerplate item - the only 1 on the line...and it has all the column in it.
So it looks like:
&col1 &col2 &col3 &col4 &col5 etc etc etc
And the line expands nicely to each field's requirements.
And when it gets to the right page boundary...it WRAPS to the next line! Beautiful!!!
The only thing is that...when I had individual fields across the line I was able to create format triggers for those fields. And in doing so I was able to reduce the font and change the justification. I had to do that because some of the fields had to appear superscripted.
So I wanted something like (ignore the dots):
...................................ppppp
AAAA BBBB CCCCC DDDD EEEE FFFFFF
So the field of 'ppppp' appeared slightly higher on the line than the other fields...
I can't see how I can do this with a single TEXT field containing all the &COL values.
Have you ever come across anything like this?

Can you switch to alternate phone on line with edge payment?

I have a need to temporarily from time to time switch to an alternate phone on a line I currently have Edge payments on. I will continue to keep and use the phone I'm making edge payments on, but if I take the SIM out and put it in another phone for a few days, will that affect my monthly Edge payments? I won't be putting a different SIM in the phone I'm making payments on.
Anyone have experience with this?

I may temporarily from time to time need to switch to an Android phone on that line. I would like to keep making Edge payments on that iPhone and not have to pay it off all at once if I switch to the other phone temporarily. I have no plans to put the iphone on another line during that time and that Android phone won't be purchased via that line or any other line on my account. It would be simple swapping of SIM from iPhone to Android phone and back.
I'm just trying to avoid getting hit for the whole cost of the iPhone at once and prefer to keep my monthly Edge payments for it...that's my primary goal or what I want to understand.

The statements in the program that does not use a header line are easier to understand. As a further measure, you could have a further work area just to specify the key of the internal table, but to which no other values from the table are assigned.

Line with 0 quantity for main item with batch split

Hello experts,
I have one line item in delivery. Delivery split is there: There are 1 spilt items with 1 batch nos. The main item category and the batch split item category are TAN.
My system is showing 2 line items in billing, the batch line with quantity and the main line with zero qty. How to prevent this and have only the lines item in invoice with batch/qty. I don´t want to see the main item with o quantity.
In VTFL I have routine for copying requirements 004 and Billing Quantity B. I need to create another copying routine or I need to use another item category for batch lines?

Hi Pablo,
It is advisable to have a different item category for Batch split items.
If you want the batch split items to suppress and show only the Total in the Invoice. Yes it is possible.
1) You can do this in the Copy controls in VTFL - Delivery to Billing, go to your Item category and go to Item details - Change the billing Qty to 'G'.
2) Go to Shipping > Deliveries > Item categories Determination in Deliveries > Define item category.
Go to your item category which is used in Batch Split
Remove the Billing Revelance and make it blank and Save.
Now when you create the Invoice for Batch split - Only the total quantity will be displayed without the subitems - like in Delivery note or Delivery..
Please check and revert back for any more details

I have a (multi point) line that intersects a polygon and I can find the intersection points

How would I achieve this?
Basically for a given line that intersects a polygon, I would like to have returned...
a new line that consists of the original points AND the intersection points

I had tried an SDO_UNION however the result of the union is not quite what I expected...
Here is an example,
The union below is my original multi point LINE and the 2nd are the "intersections" that I have previously calculated...
These intersections are actually in between specific points in the LINE...
However the union does not seem to put these 4 points in the line where I expect them too..
Not sure if SDO_UNION is the function for the job ?
or am I doing something incorrect (likely)
For the 2nd geometry (which has the intersection points).... what would be a type to use ? Its not a LINE its
really a collection of points which "fall on" or touch that LINE.

I have the intersections which is fine.. but I'd like them to be all aggregated into the original LINE
or if there is a way to get the points in the line that are between these intersections

Line with same key

Hello everybody, Im facing a problem when trying to run a query
Im getting an error that says: There is already a line with th same key.
I ran the program ANALYZE_RSZ_TABLES and I found the query that Im trying to run under the error: Selections or RKFs with incomplete defeinition. Im not sure if Im in the right track, or if there is something else that I have to check.
Can somebody help please?

yes I already went there too but found anything important. I did search the oss nothes but nothing worked, I´ll keep trying and see if I can solve it, but if somebody has any idea, please tell me
