Link action profile generated mails to Business context of service ticket

Hi,
how to link action profile generated mails to business context of service ticket.
The business context links emails sent manually from the e-mail function on the navigation bar, but automated emails that are sent using email actions (post processing frame work u2013 actions and action profiles), donu2019t get linked to the service ticket.

Alternatively, if we could send all file attachments that would be a start, but ideally we'd like to send all the contents of the Business context as separate attachments.

    If you are using JWSDP 1.3, here is how you can do it. However this is an internal API, specific to Sun's JAX-RPC implementation and may change in the future. Anyway, here is how you do it.
    If you service endpoint implements javax.xml.rpc.server.ServiceLifecycle interface, then you can keep a copy of javax.xml.rpc.server.ServletEndpointContext in init() method. In the actual method invocation, you can obtain javax.xml.rpc.handler.MessageContext from the ServletEndpointContext. And then invoke getProperty on the message context to return HttpServletRequest as follows:

    Service Ticket UI component as you mentioned is only available in ICWebclient Profile. In WebUI it is possible to  open any transactions in any UI components related to transaction because they all follow the same BOL model. ie Service Ticket can be opened in UI compoent for activity, Service Request etc..
    I have worked on a scenario where Service Ticket was opened in Service Request component. FYI, SAP recommends migrating from Service Ticket to Service Request.
    To open Service Ticket in Service Request framework (SRQM_INCIDENT_H). You have to do the following
    a. Search.
        It depends on if you are planning to use Service Request search or Worklist. In either case you will have to implement the BADI (Enhancement Spot) ES_CRM_RF_Q1O_SEARCH. This implementation is done so that instead of service Request you search for Service Ticket and return the guid.
    b. Display
      To display the Service Ticket in Service Request framework, you have to call dynamic navigation with selected entity and the UI component in the event handler on selecting item in the result list.

    You will need to force Recent eidts also to save appropriate UI component in CRMD_SHORTCUT Table otherwise it will open in ICWebclient UI compoent. Check UI Component CRM_BSP_RECOBJ
    You can also open service ticket in Service Order component. You will need to manually call the Time Reporting views whcih are are available in ICWebclient ptofile.

  • Action profile for Business Partners

    Dear SAPers,
    Currently Action profile, can be easily set-up for Business transactions (Opp, Activity,etc.).
    Examle: When Opp status is changed (schedule condition, start condition), Business Parnter attribute is adapted (Execution).
    Does anyone know if Action profile can  be set-up for Business Partner?
    Examle: When BP is changed (schedule condition, start condition), Business transaction attribute is adapted (Execution).
    In standard, it does not look possible.
    Should it be possible from Business Parnter BADI (check_before_save) to generate the schedule condition of a set of Business transactions e.g Opp.

    Yes. As of today you can customize the Action Profiles to trigger actions for Business Transactions only. This is not available for the Business Partners. So, your approach of Business Partner BADI sounds a very reasonable solution to achieve the functionality.
    And for the Business Partner BADI that you mentioned here I was unable to find any such BADI in SAP CRM 7.0 system. Can you let me know from which system you got that BADI name?
    I got a BADI of BP - COM_PARTNER_BADI. Can you have a look at the implementations of it so as to have a understanding of it's usage.

  • Mail Forms through Action Profile

    Hi Experts,
    In one of the business requirement we need to trigger the Mail froms to users & customers with survery & questions attached to the mail form.
    Can we trigger this Mail form using Action Profile? Or Is it only the smart forms that can be triggered using Action Profile?
    If mail forms can also be triggered can you please explain what configurations need to be maintained?

    Typically a Mail Form can be triggered from an Action attached to a Business Transaction.
    The Action Profile is configured with the Transaction Type standard maintenance via SPRO-IMG.
    Action Profiles and Actions are configured under SPRO-IMG for CRM "Basic Functions-Actions".
    You will need to create/adjust an Action Profile and an Action within this to meet your needs, then Define Conditions for the Action to be triggered.
    Refer to SAP Help for more content on this, you can also refer to the Best Practice guides for SAP CRM as they step by step logic for setting up.

    Hi, I've been trying for five days to get access to a Skype account I set up but have not used for a few months. I apparently have the password wrong. I've used the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. That link should automatically generate an e-mail to me, but I've gotten no e-mail, despite multiple attempts. There is no e-mail in my spam folder either. So I've sent in two support requests. The only thing I got in response to the first one was an e-mail asking me to fill out a survey about the service I got. Which would make sense, except that I never got any service. At all. The second support request has produced no results. I know I'm using the correct e-mail address, because I initially couldn't remember my Skype name either, and managed to recover it using the "Forgot Skype Name" link. At this stage, the only option I can think of is calling my credit card company and telling them that I no longer approve of any further charges from Skype and they should be rejected. Does anyone on this list have any other suggestions of how I might get some service, any service, to get access to this account? Thanks for any advice you might offer.

  • Smartform Mail Sending via Action profile

    Hi,
    we have a big problem, because our sended emails going into customers spam filter. We hava SAP CRM 5.0 and we send the emails via action profile.
    For that we use the standard for sending smartforms via action profile. Follwing problems are occured:
    1) email recipient is fill only in the cc field, not in the to field of an email
    2) the subjet ist the sam as the dcument name
    3) the emial is sended without text only whith attachment
    So my question are:
    how can i customize that the email is wirtten in the to field and how i can change the subject of this mail.
    Is ist possible to add a text to the email? Maybe not, but than we could add a disclaimer in the mail hub - so my firts questions are more importent for me.

    To manipulate the subject Refer   Note 895550 - Name of Smart Form used as e-mail subject 
    Im not sure why the email recipient is in CC instead of To. Please check your Action settings. How are you determining the recipient? if it's by partner function, it should automatically be filled in To field.
    Smartforms can be sent either as Text or pdf attachment. This is controlled globally in SMTP settings in SCOT. I believe you can choose attachment option and also add some text by manipulating the Action class.

    In OBIEE 11.1.1.7 Action link from menu '*Navigate to e-business suite*' is Missing in Menu. When i click on Menu >> Action >> Navigate ( '*Navigate to e-business suite*) is not showing but i am able to see Navigate to Bi content and Navigate to web page . So from OBIEE 11.1.1.7 Dashboards to Oracle EBS navigation which Action link should i use in or this is a bug?

    Thats the default options you will have. You need to configure the authenticationschemas.xml and few other instanceconfig.xml and actionframework.xml files inorder for you to see those options

    Hi gurus,
    We currently send the contents of a Service Ticket as a PDF to third party contractors using a smartform action.
    What we would really like to do is include the Business Context objects as attachments (e.g. inbound/outbound emails and so on).
    Has anyone achieved this, or does anyone have any brainwave as to how this could be done?

  • Creating a NEW Business Group, NO Security Profile generated

    Platform : R12 running on Linux86 --> FRESH install ( NOT Vision db )
    Resp : Global HRMS Super User
    Problem : No Security Profile generated for NEWLY created Business Group
    After creating a NEW business group ( ie. BG1 )
    I am able to see both BG1 and Setup Business Group ( I an view both Business Groups via Organization screen)
    When I access the Security Profile screen using the same resp "Global HRMS Super User"...
    I can ONLY see the default security profile ( Setup Business Group )...
    I am NOT able to view the default security profile ( BG1 ) that should have been created when I created my new business group earlier.
    NOTE : If I use the VISION db, and do the exact same thing... I can see both Security Profiles.. and both Business Groups.
    If I use the FRESH db, I can see both Business Groups... BUT... only 1 Security Profile... ( Setup Business Group )
    WHY ??

    The only solution I found is to cheat a bit with SAP.
    I set up a smartform name, a specific class with a method.
    Within that method, I manually change the form name to use my Adobe form.

    Please use the t-code of20 and select the action available (3) which is mail to the person.To state the name of the person who is responsible should be maintaied in the fundcenter.FMSA at USERNAME field.You should ensure that the person mail id is filled in at SU01 and the mail process is enabled(Check SCOT t-code.Basis or Abaper will be able to help you on this) for the mails are getting triggered or not.
    Profile is for two things like one profile is the main and if you want exceptions like no budget check for certain combinations of fund,fund center,commitment item (OF-23) then exception profile is required rather than the profile used in OF20.

  • Emails attached to the Business Context - ERMS

    Dear Gurus,
    At the moment we have the following implemented with CRM 5.0 SP08: all customers inbound emails sent are manually linked to a Service Ticket by an Agent. This email gets a Tracking ID (the Service Ticket number) and all the subsequent email thread is linked to the Service Ticket.
    You can view all emails that relate to a Service Ticket by going to the Business Context link of that Service Ticket.
    The issue is: if it is the first time you search for a service ticket after login, all the emails and other documents will display under business context. However, if you end the search and do a second search, there will be only the first email and an interaction record showing-up under business context. If you navigate further down to interaction record, all the emails and documents can be found there instead of being under the Business Context of the Service Ticket.
    I would only want the emails to appear under Business Context of the Service Ticket  and never within the Interaction Record related to that Service Ticket. Is there a way to correct this?
    I have search for OSS notes but could not find anything relevant...
    The problem this is causing is that users are not getting clear visibility of the Email threads within the Service Ticket, in order to find an email the user has to open the Interaction Record (under Business Context) and drill-down to find out the relevant emails.

    DECISION_NOTE is a new element created in the standard decision task as of new releases (Note 1643764)
    Once the user fills in the comments, they are saved as SOFM Objectsin DECISION_NOTE (this too is multiline element). All we have to do is bind it back to the workflow container in _ATTACH_OBJECTS.

    For the wait step part.... the attachment is added to the mail step via the binding from the workflow...._ATTACH_OBJECTS from Workflow to _ATTACH_OBJECTS of the email task...not sure where you want me to set a wait step. Request you to please elaborate a bit more.
